Un très bel accueil. Martha et Hart sont des hôtes charmants et attentionnés avec qui il fait bon échanger. Leur demeure est magnifique et son histoire captivante. Leur suite de deux chambres bien décorées fût très pratique pour nous trois. Excellent petit déjeuner préparé avec soins par Martha. Dans l'avenir, nous espérons pouvoir y faire un plus long séjour.

Hosts were friendly and helpful, even giving my gardener husband a tour of their yard. The room we had was beautiful and their entire home was furnished with several stunning antiques. Breakfast was amazing and I would highly recommend staying here.

The breakfast was absolutely delicious. I got the recipe for one dish. The location was awesome. Spectacular view of the Annapolis River and Annapolis Royal. Host were the best. Loved every minute.

From the moment we walked in we were warmly welcomed and felt right at home. It was comfortable and clean and the breakfast was simply delicious. The property was gorgeous and the view across the river to Annapolis Royal was special.

The breakfast was made fresh. It was healthy and delicious. We were heading to the ferry at Digby so the Grand Oak was very convenient. The hosts were personable. They readily shared about the history of the home.

Everything! Sometimes you wish you could rate a stay more than 5 stars and this was one of them! Art and Martha were exceptional hosts, they could not have done more to make us feel welcome in their beautiful home! The room was large, clean and had everything you needed. They gave us loads of information about the area and what to do during our stay. Breakfasts were excellent, a good start to the day. It is a long time since I stayed in a b and b as good as this. Thank you both for making our stay so special

Very comfortable beds. Amazing breakfasts cooked by Martha. If you are interested in birds walk along the footpath to view the Blue Jay's, Woodpeckers and Nuthatch flock around the neighbours bird feeder. Dinner at Whiskey Teller also very good.

Zeer gastvrije eigenaars. Prachtig oud huis, al 200 jaar een herbergfunctie. Mooie grote kamers leuk ingericht. Daarnaast konden we gebruik maken van de keuken die als tweede huiskamer fungeert. We hebben gezellig samen met de hosts een spelletje gespeeld. Geweldig ontbijt met zelfgemaakte quiche en cinnamon rolls.

We had such a wonderful stay at Grand Oak Manor! The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. Our suite was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The property is beautiful — we enjoyed a BBQ, a peaceful moonlight walk, and lovely conversations with the hosts about the history of this special place. Breakfast and coffee were delicious and the perfect start to the day. We left with great memories and will definitely be back!

This is a beautiful historic inn in a neat historic community. Art and Martha are lovely hosts and provided interesting information about the history. They were also very nice about accommodating my food allergies. This was one of our favorite stays!

We stayed there for 2 nights. The owners are really charming and hospitable hosts. We had a large room (consisting of 2 bedrooms + bathroom) and a beautiful homemade breakfast.

A beautifully restored vintage home in a garden setting and tastefully decorated. Martha and Art were more than forthcoming and did their outmost to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. And that goes as well for the amenities as for their delicious homecooked breakfast. Furthermore, the location is very convenient.

They phoned a restaurant to ensure we had a reservation when we arrived at 6pm. we would thoroughly recommend this B&B. The fort and French habitation make this a very interesting visit

Art and Martha are so sweet, we had a delicious breakfast, and the views from our room were amazing. The house was clean and super cute, we’d really recommend going in October when the autumn leaves are in their full glory.

Lovely decor with comfortable beds. Wonderful home cooked breakfast of waffles bacon fresh fruit and boiled egg one morning and lovely omelet with croissants and homemade jam the other morning!! Art and Martha were delightful hosts. Will return again if in the area.

Everything! We had a fabulous two nights in this lovely historical house in a fantastic setting near the river. The room was beautifully decorated, the bed comfortable and the shower was perfect. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast the first morning, and because we had to leave early on the second morning, were given a bountiful ‘take away’ breakfast! The hosts were extremely kind and helpful and should be rightly proud of this delightful B&B. Would we return? YES, in a heartbeat.

Very homely environment with super comfortable bed, everything was spotlessly clean. Excellent breakfast.

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful old house built in the early 1800’s. The hosts were very friendly and helped with directions, restaurant suggestions etc. The breakfast was delicious and filling. We were just a short drive to wineries, golf, shopping etc. It was also interesting to watch the huge change in tide levels across the street from their house. Having a 2-room suite was perfect. Beds were comfy and bathroom had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

Art et Martha sont des hôtes sympathiques. La maison est très confortable et la suite Laurence vaste avec une chambre côté mer et une chambre côté jardin. Martha est au fourneau et le déjeuner est excellent. Art adore les gens. Une belle rencontre très conviviale.

The host went out of their way to make chocolate chip pancakes for my great niece. She was over the moon. They also took out a crate of legos for her to play with.

A historic house which was beautifully furnished and with a fantastic view across the water to Anapolis Royal. Very comfortable bed and excellent breakfast to start the day. Hosts were welcoming and very helpful arranging restaurants for us prior to our arrival.

Great welcome from our hosts. Very comfortable and homely house with an interesting history. Well equipped and furnished, plenty of space and lovely view. Excellent home cooked breakfast every morning. Good location for exploring the local area with plenty to do (historic sites, trails, whale watching, gardens etc)

The Grand Oak Manor is not just a beautiful B&B, lovingly cared for, it offers two of the most delightful innkeepers...Art and Martha. Our room at the Inn was very well prepared, with excellent beds and very comfy high quality quilts. When you arrive you'll be greeted by the hosts and offered assistance with your luggage, and Martha's freshly made baking and beverages. The Rhubard squares were scrumptious. The coffee is excellent. In the morning we were greeted with a generous and delicious breakfast with local strawberry preserve, maple syrup, fresh fruit, and homemade waffles We look forward to returning.
