Mir persönlich war das Bettzeug, das ich wegen der Zugfahrt nicht gut mitnehmen konnte, etwas zu teuer.

Reviewed Jun 28, 2026Location is perfect and the view is amazing. Good instructions were provided by the host for the key pickup and drop-off. A bottle of bubbles was left in the fridge what was nice. Kitchen is well equipped and there is a good dishwasher. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby what is great.
The apartment is a bit dated and in our opinion overrated. Furniture is quite worn out. Pillows are old, they are big, thick and some are stained. You have to bring your own bed sheets, duvet covers, pillow cases and towels so the first and the last day of your stay is hard work doing the beddings and cleaning the place. Cleaning is not included in the price so you have to do it yourself on the last day or pay extra for cleaning. Parking is 20 euro a day and not included in the price. While the additional charges are not clearly outlined the booking is non-refundable, so you cannot even cancel the booking if you are unhappy with the conditions and additional charges.

Devoir prendre ses propres draps, faire son lit, faire le ménage , vider les poubelles et tout cela alors que l’on paye 60€ de ménage et qu’on y passe que deux nuits….

Reviewed Dec 16, 2025-La vue (11 eme étage avec une petite terrasse bien équipée) -la situation générale - proche du parking, du centre ville, de la gare et évidement de la digue -l'équipement de l'appartement très complet - c'est rare de constater que la vaisselle était homogène et pas constituée de pièces récupérées. -la modernité du bâtiment
Ce n'est certainement pas un point négatif mais peut être la taille des ascenseurs.

Had to use cash to pay the warranty. Not a problem as there are cash points close by, but we don`t tend to carry cash anymore

Reviewed Aug 2, 2023- location - view from the window - beds, pillows, duvets are okay
- too many hidden costs (cleaning fee, bed linen). And you pay for the cleaning at check-in even if you say that you will clean by yourself. When check-out, you normally get back 40euro for cleaning + 120 of guarantee. But in our case I was told that the cleaning woman is busy and she will check the room later and if all good, I will be refunded 160 Euro. It was not normal for me to leave the appartments without getting my money back...And just after asking for several times to check it now and give my money back now, at check-out, they did it. - it was the first time I was asked to show my credit card (like to 'prove' that the payment was taken exactly from my card). That's weird and has no reason.

Reviewed Jun 5, 2023The location is amazing, with sea views from the living room, the apartment was clean, good value for money, literraly across the street from the beach.
This is not related to the property we stayed in, however, overall it afected our experience. If you decide to go to Ostende you need to take in consideration the parking charges, we paid 26 Euro per day, and also if you have kids bare in mind it's difficult to find a good rated restaurant willing to accomodate families with children.

Reviewed Nov 4, 2022Garage, the view, easily accessible, right off the main boardwalk. Nice restaurants around. It was nice to open the windows up and hear the ocean. The beds were conformable, the kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils. They did provide dish soap and cleaning supplies.
The balcony size was misleading, we were hoping to sit and drink coffee on the balcony and listen to the water but there was only one chair. Make sure to bring your own coffee and/or tea.

The fact that I was there for 1 night only and they didn’t even offer towels and bed sheets. They sent me a info when I was already on my way and had already booked the place telling me I should bring my own sheets and towels as if I am walking around from place to place with my own towels and sheets. Found this super disrespectful.

That at 2:00 in the morning other renters yelled out their window for about 15 minutes. It was quite annoying. This happened for 2 nights in a row.
