I spent 5 nights here. + Clean and comfortable room + Very friendly and helpful staff + Very good, individually controllable AC + Great location in Myeondong, not far from a metro stop + Able to receive Coupang package at reception + Elevator, refrigerator and washing machine available to make life easy
- Curtains do not block ANY light. You need a sleep mask to sleep - Can be a bit noisy from outside (inside hostel is very quiet though)

Reviewed Sep 15, 2026ich hatte eine schöne zeit bei ara125 - das hostel liegt sehr zentral, in einer belebten gegend von seoul. metro direkt ums eck😀, bushaltestellen (flughafen-bus) ebenso. das personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit - waschmaschine kann gratis benutzt werden😉 zimmer sind eher klein, aber mit allem ausgestattet
das frühstück ist etwas spärlich (sehr kleine auswahl), kaffee ist jedenfalls genug vorhanden 😉

Reviewed Sep 8, 2026C’est ma troisième visite chez ARA125 et je reviens toujours pour sa localisation parfaite pour explorer Séoul, la propreté des chambres et son personnel souriant! Le checkin/checkout est aussi toujours super rapide et les transferts avec l’aéroport d’Incheon sont très simple!
C’est mineur, mais la literie faisait un peu mal au dos. Cependant j’ai super bien dormi, sans aucun bruit malgré son emplacement dans un endroit festif!

Reviewed Sep 2, 2026¡La experiencia superó nuestras expectativas! Es un alojamiento 100% recomendable: acogedor, práctico y auténtico. La amabilidad y atención del personal fue exquisita. Además, había un par de chicas encantadoras que hablaban castellano y que fueron especialmente atentas y cariñosas con mi hija de 10 años :) La ubicación es inmejorable: en plena zona comercial, muy cerca de la Torre de Seúl y en el corazón del mercado nocturno de Myeongdong. Las habitaciones no son espaciosas, pero bonitas, limpias y equipadas con todo lo necesario. Además, las opciones del desayuno y la lavandería gratuita lo convierten en todo un acierto. No es solo un lugar práctico y funcional, ¡¡ha sido como estar en casa!! ¡Muchísimas gracias por cuidarnos tan bien! Volveremos :)

Così come la zona lavanderia accessibile e gratuita.
La mia stanza aveva la vista su un muro e quindi poco luminosa.

Das hatte leider wenig mit einem Hotel zu tun, so wie es hier vermarktet wird. Das erste was angezeigt wird bei der Buchung ist fabelhaftes Frühstück und Frühstück mit inbegriffen. Das bedeutet: Weintrauben Toast und Eiern die man sich erst selbst braten muss!!! Das Zimmer ist nicht wirklich sauber, überall auf dem Boden und an den Kanten Staub, was auch nicht verwundert wenn das Zimmer während des Aufenthalts nicht gereinigt wird. Der Wasserhahn hat sich nur schwer öffnen und schließen lassen und beim ersten Öffnen kam erstmal schwarzes Wasser entgegen. Der Duschkopf war nicht fest in der Halterung, sodass er immer wenn Wasser angemacht wurde nach hinten gefallen ist und man die Dusche nur in der Hand benutzen wollten. Nach dem Duschen stand auch immer gleich das ganze Bad unter Wasser. Das Bett war nicht wirklich gemütlich und für 2 Personen sehr klein. Das Zimmer war nicht groß genug um den Koffer außerhalb des Bettes zu öffnen und es gab im gesamten Zimmer nur 2 Steckdosen. Alles in allem war das Hotel vor allem für diesen Preis ein totaler Reinfall

Reviewed Aug 4, 2026Nous avons apprécié les machines à laver mises à disposition gratuitement pour laver notre linge, ce qui était très appréciable compte tenu de la chaleur caniculaire de l'été. Par ailleurs, le petit-déjeuner inclus était un plus même s'il aurait pu être plus varié. Malgré les équipements un peu rudimentaires, l'hôtel était propre et assez joliment décoré. Le quartier était central, agréable et animé.
En revanche, les chambres sont un peu exigües et ne comportent ni meuble de rangement pour le linge ni table et lampe de chevet. Par ailleurs, notre chambre donnait sur les toilettes de l'immeuble d'à côté et était un peu bruyante.

I specifically requested a 'Quiet' room but I got a room near the elevator and trash bins. I could hear the late check in quests moves with suitcase rollers and talking loudly even after 10:00 pm.

The receptionist was amazing, we forgot our credit card for this trip, and she helped us pay our taxi with cash. Very welcoming and comfy vibes, there is shared kitchen and the opportunity to wash laundry.

The hotel also offered a washing machine, dryer, and laundry detergent for guests to use. The location was very convenient, with Olive Young, Daiso, and Lotte Mart just a short walk away. The staff were also very friendly.

Reviewed Jun 26, 2026Free of charge laundromat with laundry detergent, we were able to use a fridge, 3-5 min walk from Metro and busses, amazing location, cooler!, good breakfast:eggs, peanut butter, cheese, ramen, butter, jam. Extra towels in the hallway.
There is not special storage room for suitcases Sometimes there are too many in the kitchen.

Reviewed Jun 26, 2026The hostel is situated in the heart of myeongdong area. Most vibrant and happening place. Everything was available on walking distance. The staff was available there to help with smiling faces, especially Natalie who explained about tourist places, metro services. Great stay and good memories.
The only flip side is the breakfast items were few but enough to cater our needs.

Reviewed Jun 14, 2026The location is very good, around the corner of Myeongdong market. The rooms are clean and tidy. In the morning you can make your own breakfast with ingredients available, the breakfast room is very nice.
One staffmember were very strict and direct (for example when finishing breakfast at 11:05, comments that breakfast is only till 11:00). But other staff were very friendly and helpful!

There isn't a table in the room.. :( makes it very difficult Water draining is a problem.. Toilet flood after a shower. Pillow case was a little dirty. :(.

Chambre et salle de bains plutôt petites mais au vu du quartier c'est attendu et ne pose pas plus de souci que cela. Petit-déjeuner simple (œuf, café/thé, pain, confiture, raisin frais,...) mais très pratique et suffisant pour débuter la journée. Accès à un lave-linge et sèche-linge. Possibilité de laisser les bagages avant ou après le check in/out. Au début du quartier de myeondgong, idéal pour les nombreux restaurants, les boutiques et le marché de nuit ! Proche de 2 lignes de métro, de bus et du bus limousine pour se rendre à l'aéroport.
Vue sur un mur donc peu de lumière, mais si on n'y fait que dormir cela ne pose aucun problème.
