Location, 24hour reception

I arrived after midnight & entered a dirty mouldy room. I wanted to take a shower and found that my towel is dirty with stains. I had to replace it at reception... the room doesnt come cheap and I only had a few hours of sleep before hitting the road again... disapointing

No hot water to shower with over our two day stay. Reported it on the first morning. Shortage of towels was also inconvenient. Annoying beeping of an alarm close to our room. Guests from Cosmos Tours were rude towards staff and other guests. They felt that they were entitled to being served first as a result of them having booked 3 months ago. Apart from other ugly incidents!

The staff were exceptional!!! Helpful, accommodating and welcoming. It’s a hotel, but with a homely feel.

The room was clean and equipped with what we needed for our short stay.

The restaurant at the hotel was very poor. We decided to not stay after seeing many negative reviews. We also connected to the free and "fast" wifi given to us by the accommodation as our own reception was barely working. And while we understand we are in a small town, the wifi ended up being worse than our own reception. We could not access anything online, and ended up needing to leave early as we were required to get work completed while we enjoyed our stay, but due to this, we were unable to.

The Lodge is located on a beautiful scenic area. It has lovely views of the stoney hills. The room was comfortable and neat. The restaurant has a lovely view and the food was delicious. It is also wheelchair friendly.

I prefer teaspoons and not the sticks at the coffee station. The morning staff were quite noisy when they came in. The sound resonates on the bottom floor where our room was. The reception area, where they enter is close by. EL

The rooms were clean. We asked to be moved as the room we had sliding door opened up and you could walked into the front car park. We did get an upstairs room at the back which was safer. The room was clean and had what we needed for 1 night. A bit odd, basin in the bedroom, shower water flooded small bathroom.

Bathroom flooded, door at the bottom was broken away from water damage. Breakfast was basic Buffett and an ok coffee machine, thank goodness but once I saw small cockroaches running over the tea, sugar and instant coffee area I lost my appetite.

Value for money, 4 people stay..

Too many cats and poop right outside the sliding door if you are staying in the family room

It’s dirty, I have also communicated this to the manager. The stairs going to second floor and walkway were dirty, bathroom not cleaned properly.

The room was terrible, the bed was untidy,. The fitted sheet was small for the bed the mattress (old mattress) was sticking out. It was as if no one came to check the room was okay and ready for check in.. The linen looking tired even though it was clean. The bathroom door was broken. No mat in the bathroom.

Is a Sunday night had half the hotel on my side party until 02:00 am with no help from staff to control the situation, had made multiple calls but nothing helped , I was part of a small group , they only give attention to the biggest group at hotel , worst experience i have ever had in springbok

The location is great, so close to nature ,a great place to unwind and forget about all the troubles of this world.

The one day I spent there was just awesome So really no complaints

It was a great and relaxing stay. Highly recommend.

Someone banging on a door down the passage at 5:40am, which woke us up.

Perfect, however the staff neglects to fill the empty bameries and filter coffee flasks even though breakfast is till 10. I got there at 9

No hand towels . Toilet rolls are used rolls .

Even though small, the shower could do with a shower door as the bathroom floor does get fairly wet.

Foi uma excelente parada durante minha viagem de carro entre Cidade do Cabo e Windhoek. O hotel oferece um ótimo custo-benefício para quem está fazendo esse trajeto e precisa descansar no caminho. Gostei tanto da experiência que me hospedei nele tanto na ida quanto na volta da viagem. Recomendo para quem percorre essa rota e procura uma hospedagem prática, confortável e com bom custo-benefício.

It was nice to be in the country between the mountans. And because we had our pets with us i could take them for a nice off leash walk.

When u shower the water will be all over it's better to bath rather than taking a shower. No shower cap was provided. I waited for eggs for more than 30 minutes 😩

We were 7 people and had a very pleasant overnight stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable . The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to assist with a smile. The hotel offered a peaceful atmosphere, and everything I needed for a comfortable stay was available. From check-in to check-out, the experience was smooth and enjoyable.

A glass door is needed to close the shower area because the water is running off onto the floor of the bathroom.

Restaurant: breakfast served like elms to beggars 💔💔💔 very disappointed. Poor quality. Poor prep. In Afrikaans- gemaak en gelos! I was embarrassed as a guest— so many Telkom and Eskom staff were there on work commitments and experienced such a bashful presentation. Kitchen management needs in service on professional etiquette, meal prep, kind interaction with guests at breakfast Perhaps send them to Clarens Country Hotel 360—-to experience true country hospitality!!!!

The bathroom door did not close at all. The staff wanted to put my friend and I in a another room but the toilet was running all the time.

The restaurant staff was amazing, and the meals were lovely.

I was racially offended by the food and beverage manager with her very "pushy" view on why there was no hot water. She went so far as to ask a gentleman working for Eskom to remove his Eskom labelled jacked while on the premises. We have been to this hotel before and had an amazing stay. This time around it was a total disaster as there was no hot water to wash for the entirety of our stay. According to the food and beverage manager, the hotel had this problem for the past two weeks prior to our arrival. We had no call to inform us on the situation and every day we were promised that there will be hot water in the evening. This was an unethical answer as everyone working at the hotel knew that there was no hot water for 2 weeks already on our arrival. Explain your situation and give me an option to leave or stay, but don't lie to me. That is so offensive. We had to boil our own purchased water in a kettle to be able to wash in the basin in the room.

房价比我们预定时降了一百多元人民币一间，订单原定是不可取消和不能退款，但bookin说g同意退款，前提是需要酒店同意取消，并发一封邮件给booking。当我到了酒店时，前提说同意取消订单，但拒绝发邮件，还叫重新订有，支付双重房租，还不断在错误的引导，以致搞来搞去白白浪费了我将近两个小时。把我当傻子玩了一会，生气之下，我也懒得理论，就这样给酒店骗了一会，我们两个房间多花了二百多元。

We booked a double room when we got to the hotel and then was told that room is not available. We had no water this morning to shower only ice cold water

Always love to stay at the Inn. We really enjoyed the breakfast and the staff is super friendly and accommodating as always. Will definitely make this our destination again.

Dinner was nice, except that about no listed wine was available.

One pillow did not have a pillowcase- disgusting! Curtain had a tore at the back.

The room was very clean and great to be able to park right outside our room. Nice to be out of town and feeling out in the country. Although the pool was small it was good to cool off and the big loungers were very comfortable. Breakfast was basic but included in the price so value for money. The decor in the hotel is good and staff were friendly

We were let down by our dining experience at the restaurant on our second night. Besides being one of only 3 tables, the service was very poor. 2 diners got their food, we then waited a further 10 minutes for another plate of food and then had to enquire again after another 5 minutes where the 4th plate was. It also seemed that the last two plates were just warmed in a microwave. Very disappointing!

Das Springbok Inn ist ein sehr gepflegtes Hotel und besticht durch seine sehr gute und saubere Ausstattung. Es bietet ein sehr gutes Frühstück an und ist für uns so etwas wie die Oase in der Wüste. Wir waren bereits zum 3. Mal in diesem Hotel.
