Matelas un peu dur pour moi. Four à raclette/caquelon à fondue non fournis dans l'appartement, mais disponibles sur demande.

Reviewed May 24, 2026The host is a very approachable and friendly guy though we did have some difficulty communicating - English is not his strong point and German is not mine! We muddled through :-) My flight was delayed and he kindly allowed me to turn up at 10.20pm which I felt was above and beyond expectations. Parking is easy right next to the chalet. Accommodation was in a newer chalet style building next to the old farmhouse. My room was ground floor with a single bed and another on a mezzanine though no ladder was provided to allow me to access this. The room was really very tiny indeed, but nice alpine style, and in my opinion really only suitable for a single traveler. The ensuite shower and toilet would not be private if sharing the room. A fridge and cupboard the hallway sold a wide range of drinks and snacks. Kettle, plates, cups, glasses, knife and fork provided in the room. The chalet is located on the very edge of Gstaad, surrounded by fields and old barns and farmhouses and near to a couple of small newish apartment buildings. It is just about walking distance of the town, though quite a long walk, and steep too. Good to hear the cow bells though being next to fields. There is some outside seating and a firepit which would be good on a sunny evening. I don’t know whether wood could be provided.

È ben fornito e dotato di tutti i comfort necessari. Il paesaggio è semplicemente bellissimo e contribuisce a rendere l’esperienza ancora più piacevole. Un ringraziamento speciale ai proprietari: sono stati estremamente gentili, simpatici e cordiali. Un’ottima accoglienza. Grazie ancora, ci torneremo sicuramente!

Reviewed Dec 26, 2025The room was really nice, the bed was so comfortable, there was loads of info in the book. Food delivery is kind of the only option without a car unless you fancy walking up a large hill after dinner, but there are some good options online and GoGstaad does work quite well, and the food is relatively cheap for Switzerland, it was about 30CHF for a margherita pizza and delivery. The B&B was above Gstaad but it's in a really nice place, loads of snow everywhere when I went in December and incredible views. The host was really lovely, didn't seem to be proficient in English but I understood enough to know what he was talking about. The price is unbeatable.
It's quite far away from Gstaad, about a half an hour walk. There is a bit of a hill on the way up but it's doable as someone who doesn't love exercise, and the views are amazing all the way up. Luckily, I arrived exactly at 4, but having a check-in of 4 and check-out of 10 is a bit weird, especially for such a small place.

Die Ausstattung ist pfiffig, zweckmäßig und absolut in Ordnung. Und die persönlichen Tipps der Vermieter Gold wert.

Der Raum ist so klein, dass man sich mit einem Gepäckstück kaum mehr umdrehen kann. Ich habe keinen großen Komfort für den Preis erwartet, aber im Grunde ist das eher ein Zusatzraum/Gepäckraum usw. - obwohl ein Bett und in der Höhe noch ein Hochbett über Dusche, Toilette vorhanden sind. Ja - einfach zu eng.

The room was very well managed along with all accessories such as cutlery, refrigerator, oven etc.which were absolutely free to use. Overall a solid 10 on hospitality. Would definitely recommend.
The only concern is that the place is around 2kms from Gstaad Bahnhoff and in case you don't have a vehicle, you need to rent a cab. The distance may not seem much for a walk but it's completely uphill and difficult to cover with heavy luggage.

Ein Netz im Fenster gegen Mücken täte gut. Ich habe kaum schlafen können.

Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich. Man kann mit Wasserkocher und Geschirr ein bisschen was selbst zu essen zaubern.
