Calmness, the staff, food, the room everything was great and we rested very well even the hotel taxi was so nice the beds were so comfortable we will come back another time just to have lunch as the food is amazing

La ubicación, el personal y la limpieza. Las facilidades de la zona común

Lo que menos me gusto es que me MIENTAN. Y en la descripción de la habitación en Booking es casi todo MENTIRA. NO tiene Aire acondicionado, ni cocina privada, ni lavavajillas, ni cafetera, en la habitación. La cocina y la cafetera están en la zona común, para todas las habitaciones (6). El lavavajillas no existe y el aire acondicionado es un triste ventilador (adjunto fotos). Pasamos CALOR y tuvimos que mal-dormir con el ruido del ventilador y el movimiento y madrugones de los peregrinos y excursionistas a los "Muiños do Batan" que están debajo y tienen que pasar junto tu ventana abierta. Mas el ruido que se produce en una construcción tan antigua con cada paso ¿Insonorizada? En estos tiempos de calor en verano, solo me alojo en establecimientos con aire y que funcione, para poder dormir. Descarto los que no lo tienen y con este me siento ENGAÑADO

L'accueil était chaleureux malgré la barrière de la langue. Le cadre est mignon, calme, naturel et la cuisine délicieuse ( on a notamment manger des poulpes à la plancha ! )

Es todo maravilloso. La ubicación es un sueño. Solo se escucha el ruido del agua que pasa cerca de la habitación. La comida fue excelente y la persona que me atendió, no podía ser más encantadora. La atención y el cuidado con el que nos atendieron. El lugar es idílico si buscas tranquilidad.

Quizás ya para este momento esté todo corregido, ya que están con la reclamación a Google maps , pero hay que tener en cuenta que la ubicación manda a la calle sin salida de arriba. Hay que ir a hacia los Muiños da Égoa.

Trato personal y cercano. Es verdad que está alejado del camino pero hay servicio de taxi y te acercan al alojamiento.

The location is beautiful but remote, the area around is absolutely picturesque! The dinner I was made was lovely and they kindly catered to a vegetarian diet. Difficult to reach but well worth it!

A slightly better stocked kitchen would be great (teas, milk etc.)

Nothing prepared us for how magical this place felt - we were in awe of it. It was the first day of walking the camino and costa egoa was our first night stay, and it could not be more enchanting - an old rural casa tucked away in the wood and it has a small waterfall at the back. When you dine at the outdoor dinning area you get to experience the most magical trees next to you with the most delicious dinner. The owner of Costa Egoa was the most kind and amazing cook, we purchased dinner and it was a full feast for 20€. We ended our day at Sergude and since the lodging is off the trail, we took a cab down which cost us around 10 and the next day she called a taxi for us and made sure we were dropped off at the exact point we were picked up from. Breakfast was a simple feast and the ingredients were so fresh, just what we needed before the trail. We absolutely adore this place, and if we get to do camino ingles again, we will be back for sure. If you are looking for a quiet restful night on the camino i highly recommend this place, its the kind of place where you know you will be looked after, like a little warm hug.

Bem no meio da natureza, fica a 3 kms do camiño de Santiago, que podem facilmente ser feitos por um taxi, a proprietária é muito querida, o espaço é agradável e calmo para uma boa noite de descanso depois de tantos kms acumulados, servem jantar, uma refeição bem completa e muito boa!

Rocio es una chica encantadora. Desde que llegamos muy atenta y servicial. Es un lugar muy tranquilo, ideal para desconectar. Es un placer ducharte o dormir escuchando el agua que pasa por el rio. Además, es un lugar muy limpio. Todos los dias te cambian las toallas y hacen la habitación. Sin duda, volveré.

We only had one night to stay

I stayed here for 2 nights during my Camino as a break from my walk. It's about a 15-minute cab ride off the main path. The owners are lovely. I paid for a laundry service and three meals during my time here, and it was worth it. A wonderful retreat!

Beautiful rural property, with a fantastic owner who cares for everyone. Breakfast and dinner were both great. The room was small but well equipped but the overall property is so gorgeous. Walk down to see the waterfall. Off the Camino but a taxi ride brought us here. Communal area for sitting and making tea and coffee.

El sitio y el entorno es espectacular, pero tuvimos que desviarnos de nuestra ruta 10km. y al dia siguiente regresar a Bruma , otros 10km. más, en taxi por supuesto.

Beautiful hotel near the forest. Rosalia was very hospitable, serving us both dinner and breakfast, and helping us with directions to our next destination.

Charming, gorgeous, rustic village location, style, room with a tiny creek running below… and the kitchen, or restaurant got an area that has some Japanese vibe to it… where you see green forest with huge open windows… great common area under the hotel rooms… very charming Staff has enough English capability that helps me through getting a taxi to the hotel from the Camino path and very friendly staff.. given I’m a Spanish-extreme deficiency kind of guy…😅

Just slightly off the path… need to patch in via taxi. Not necessary an unlike but one should plan for taxi pickup (just WhatsApp hotel) before which will makes things more…. Convenient for yourself

Everything was great. A really cute place to stay- the best on the Camino. And such wonderfully friendly staff.

Got a bit noisy with locals using the bar at night but I was so tired from walking the Camino that I slept well.

Es un lugar es de ensueño, la verdad. Rodeado de naturaleza, se escucha el arroyo de fondo, se respira paz. Rocío es un encanto de persona; atenta, servicial, agradable y cercana. Además, ofrecen desayunos y cenas. Cenamos riquísimo y rodeados del mejor entorno. Volvería siempre aquí.

We loved our stay here, staff were very friendly and welcoming and the breakfast and dinner were excellent. Wished we could have stayed longer as the location was stunning.

Nothing not to like. If I was being super picky, a slighly more modern shower but that is very minor.

La atención de Rocio fue muy buena. La cena muy generosa por poco nos la podemos comer y el pulpo estaba buenísimo . El desayuno el mejor de todos los días que hemos estado . Esta a un paseo de bruma pero nos dieron el teléfono de un taxista y vino a por nosotras

We verbleven hier twee nachten voor een rustdag van de camino Ingles. We zijn met een taxi vanaf casa Avelina gegaan. De omgeving is prachtig!! Rocio is een zeer vriendelijke gastvrouw en heeft heerlijk voor ons gekookt. Ook het ontbijt was heel fijn. Er is ook een keuken om zelf eten klaar te maken.

De ligging is mooi en de eigenaresse doet alles om het naar je zin te maken. Veel plekjes om te zitten.

De douche. De slang zat niet goed aan de douchekop, waardoor het water alke kanten opspoot, incl over de douchecabine. Hierdoor werd het een zwembad. Door dit probleem kon ik ook niet onder de douche staan. Als de kachel niet aan staat, dan is het kil en klam op de kamer. Thermostaat kun je niet zelf regelen.

Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft in relativer Nähe zum Camino Ingles. Es gab gutes Essen, sowohl abends als auch zum Frühstück. Hab die Mahlzeiten mit 7 italienischen Pilgern genießen dürfen, das war fanatastico, aber die sind dort natürlich sonst nicht anwesend.

Die Lage ist so, dass man dort eigentlich eher nicht gut zu Fuß hin kommt. Ich bin hingelaufen, aber das fand ich nicht ganz ungefährlich, da man direkt an einer Art Schnellstraße läuft. Daher würde ich schon aus Sicherheitsgründen Taxifahrten ab und von Traversas empfehlen.

Staying at the Costa da Egoa was a highlight of my trip to Spain. To begin with, the owners couldn't have been more welcoming. Loved walking down the hill behind the hotel to see the most beautiful waterfall which was to lull me to sleep that night. Drinks and dinner on the porch were wonderful, and breakfast the next day was unforgettable. Even though it was a couple miles from the Camino, it was so worth it. Although, I would take a taxi next time bc it felt a little dangerous walking on the highway's shoulder.

Beautiful location tucked away in the woods by a small river with several waterfalls. The terrace where we had drinks was incredible. Very friendly and hospitable, happy to help us in anyway. Highly recommend for pilgrims on the Camino Ingles.

Staff were so very welcoming and obliging. Food available on site was delicious (both dinner and breakfast) Arrangements made on our behalf for transportation to return to the camino trail were much appreciated.

Distance from Camino trail made it a very long day's hike.

Paea Los que hacemos el camino inglés es muy muy peligroso ya que tienes que andar 2 k por la carretera Nacional tendrían que avisar que paea llegar tienes que coger taxi

This is a gorgeous place to stay set in a beautiful location but what really makes it special is the family who run it - so kind and welcoming. After a long day on the Camino Inglés we felt very well looked after and had a delicious dinner. Highly, highly recommend!

Auf dem Camino Inglés (Variante Ferrol) liegt diese Unterkunft ca. 5 km abseits des Weges. Man nimmt am besten ein Taxi ab As Travesas (Kosten ca. 12 € pro Fahrt). Die Ausgabe lohnt sich aber, denn die Pension liegt sehr idyllisch in einem engen Tal mit mehreren Mühlen. Die Betreiber sind liebenswert und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind nett eingerichtet mit antiken Möbeln und alles ist sehr sauber. Die Küche ist hervorragend; wir können sowohl Frühstück als auch Abendessen empfehlen.

I had an amazing stay at Costa da Egoa. This is exactly what I needed after a long walk. The room is lovely, well decorated and the bed is very comfortable. The evening dinner was delicious. HIGHLY reccomanded.

Wonderful property, close to forest trails in a quiet location. The host was welcoming and friendly, the room was clean and cozy, and meal portions were generous.

Sehr netter Empfang. Zimmer sauber und schön. Abends kann man aus zwei Menüs ein Essen auswählen und morgens gab es ein super Frühstück. Leider etwas entfernt vom Camino, aber wir haben von der Casa Avelina ein Taxi genommen, Carmen hat es uns organisiert!
