Excepcional. Atendimento da equipe é sensacional. São muito receptivos, amáveis, atenciosos, nos ajudaram em uma emergência quando precisamos de um táxi e o táxi chegou em menos de 5 minutos. Também nos emprestaram bastões para fazer trekking. Eu fiquei com vontade de tomar um café em um dia a tarde e o rapaz da recepção me deu uma xícara e não cobrou nada por isso. Chuveiro bem quentinho, instalações quentes. Café da manhã delicioso e bem completo. Me senti muito segura e tranquila, recomendaria muito para quem vai, se eu tiver a oportunidade de voltar na cidade novamente, me hospedaria novamente no mesmo lugar. Atendimento realmente incrível. Tudo limpinho, me senti muito bem.

Petit déjeuner pas très varié. Il ne faut pas s’attendre à un endroit charmant c’est un peu une décharge de vieilles voitures autour et des petites constructions de maisons ! Mais rien de bien gênant niveau bruit.

Sehr ungemütliches Ambiente im Zimmer (kalt, dunkel, Fliesen, Fenster zum Hinterhof mit den Mülltonnen,...) - für den Preis haben wir uns mehr erhofft. Auch die Gemeinschaftsräume sind ungemütlich Stromausfall ohne Notstrom oä, Infos hierzu nur auf Nachfrage Frühstück eher karg Preis-Leistung unterirdisch. Bei schlechtem Wetter keine alternativen Beschäftigugsmöglichkeiten

La cama y la bañera ..el personal muy amable.

Los enchufes no funcionan con los enchufes estándares europeos o chilenos .. tampoco tenia cafetera .. le falta un poco al desayuno ., alguna fruta ., por el resto, todo bien.

un detalle, la habitacion era para 4 personas, (cama matrimonial y 2 camas individuales) pero solo un enchufe, faltan enchufes para cargar los celulares.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the location was great.

The other guests who woke up very early (5:00-6:00am) and made a lot of noise in the common area.

El personal era muy amable y nos atendió muy bien.

No dormimos muy bien porque la habitación estba al lado justo de la recepción y del comedor y ya muy temprabo había ruido.

Las limitaciones de falta de confort en muchos aspectos. Desayuno discreto sin algunas cosas, muy limitada la variedad de frutas, nada de medialunas o tortitas, tostador viejo y lento, sin TV en las habitaciones, etc. Ubicación aislada del centro, rodeado de chacaritas, talleres y trastos viejos en baldíos suburbanos. La seguridad no fue problema porque no la hay en el pueblo pero podríamos decir que estuvimos en el lugar más deteriorado de la zona urbano marginal.

La ubicación es muy buena, cerca de todo y súper tranquilo. Las chicas de recepción super amables. Muy buen desayuno, camas cómodas y excelente ducha. Volvería.

La atención del personal, con sugerencias para poder disfrutar tanto en el alojamiento como excursiones y recorridos. Las instalaciones excelentes. La predisposición por cuestiones especiales, siempre atentas las chicas de recepción.

L'établissement est situé à El Chalten, Mecque du Trekking, au pied du Fitz Roy et du Cerro Torre. C'est l'intérêt essentiel de l'hôtel. Le personnel est serviable et a fait des efforts pour compenser les manques (verres à dents, frigo)

Une ambiance, une décoration et des équipements un peu "auberge de jeunesse"... pour un prix supérieur à celui d'un séjour dans une chambre parfaite de château dans la Loire en été. El Chalten est très couru en pleine saison, et on le sent un peu partout au niveau des prix qui deviennent élevés (plus l'accès désormais payant aux chemins de trekking.)

Overall a great base for exploring el Chalten. Rooms were basic but really comfortable, clean and spacious. The location is fairly close to the bus station towards the beginning of town. It’s a ~15min walk to the other end of town where the trails for el Chalten/Fitzroy start.

Everything, absolutely AMAZING hotel, service and breakfast food. One day the zip of my pants broke and I asked the people in charge of the hotel reception to take a look at it, they were extremely kind towards me and even two people tried to fix the zip for me. 100% recommended! 🔝👌

Nothing, I want to be back in Patagonia! :(

Súper hotel, muy cómodo, con gran calefacción, con un desayuno muy rico y variado, Manuela de la recepción nos ayudó muchísimo, nos dio muchos consejos de cosas por hacer, donde comer y consejos muy prácticos, volveríamos siempre, hotel muy bueno en todos los extremos.

Everything was good.

This spacious, airy hosteria is a five-minute walk from the El Chaltén bus terminal. Host Julian is fully at the guests' disposal and knows how to enrich your stay with interesting tips. The large rooms with matching bathrooms are clean and well-maintained. A simple but well-prepared breakfast (excluding fresh fruit and yogurt) can be enjoyed in a pleasant common area with a small seating area. Hostería Vertical Lodge is also near a supermarket, the town center, and the starting point for many hikes in Los Glaciares National Park. A pleasant, comfortable place to enjoy a peaceful stay during the winter months.

First room (room 11)we stayed in there was a lot of noise from pipes. On our return we were on the top floor and no problem.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We appreciated being on the ground floor. El Chalten is pretty small, so we were close to everything.

Wi-Fi didn’t work in the room. The first day there was after a storm the previous night. They must use river water for flushing the toilet because the water in the toilet was gray for the first day and a half. They also don’t want you to put toilet paper in the toilet.

Our room was very big, clean and warm. It was great to have the lounge area by the reception. Breakfast was surprisingly good - we were expecting boring toast and jam, it was much better. On the day of our departure the staff was only setting up breakfast but we asked if we can already have something and they agreed - big plus. No problem with parking. I'd recommend this place for anyone going to Patagonia. We also got a great restaurant recommendation, which was affordable as for El Chalten - also a plus!

Patagonia is expensive, so I guess complaining about the price doesn't make sense :)

Lunchbox was great and our room was very big.

Due to the fact it’s a specific hike location, a lot people leave very early (5 or 6am in the morning), so keep in mind it’s possible that you wake up by the noises in the morning.

Comfortable bed and hot shower. Friendly and helpful staff - they went out of their way to allow me to use kitchen to reheat leftover food, and found an ice pack for a foot injury I had. Good location, close to everything but close to the river.

The hallway echoes quite a bit, amplifying noise from opening and closing doors, people visiting in common areas, etc. Can be a little loud in the rooms if you are trying to get to sleep early or sleep in late.

We had a good stay at Vertical lodge. The rooms were big, parking was easy, close to everything and the staff was very helpful with information and recommendations.

The room was dark and the window faced another window some 2 to 3 meters away. It's really one step up from a backpacker hostel. Way over priced. We moved to another place, equally central where for $50 more we have a much nicer, brighter, and airier room with windows overlooking the city. The staff speak fluent English and are friendly and warm. At the Vertical Hotel, there was no English, the staff were not friendly, all they cared about was the check out time. The current hotel has a sauna and jacuzzi available to residents and in room WiFi. We were welcomed with a drink of our choice. None of these are true of the Vertical Hotel. If your budget permits going slightly higher, from US$ 150 to 200, I'd choose something else.

Pricy for the type of room. Everything in Chalten is pricy. No potable water in room or lobby. Lovely lady allowed us a check in before noon so we could go hiking in the park and not loose a day. Near the bus station, less than 10 minutes walk. Ok breakfast, too many sweet items. Room had good heat and was spacious. Bathroom clean and good size.

The location is perfect for the ones arriving at El Chaltén by bus, it's just a five-minute walk from the station. Our bedroom and bathroom were very comfortable. Breakfast is simple but good enough.

The internet connection only works in the common area on the first floor, not in the bedrooms (at least when we stayed there, in September 2024).

Shower is OK.

Heating is on 24/7 and can't be turned off. Opening a window is not really an option due to the strong wind. Breakfast is poor. The bread is dry, not much options. Juice is clearly is not fresh. Noisy rooms. You can hear everybody getting up early. Room and general interior looks dated. Mandatory to leave your room key behind. Not really good value for money.
