The whole place was amazing from check in to check out. Check in and check out was easy. The room was beautiful, clean, everything we needed and the bed was so comfy. We would definitely stay again. The food was amazing. The place was a lovely country feel. The staff were so friendly and helpful.

Room 2 smelled a bit of wet dogs.

The room was spotless, tasteful and the little radio playing BBC Cymru was a nice touch. Biggest bedside lamps I have ever seen in my life. Nice hospitality tray with a range of teas, and a cafetiere for the posher traveller with caffeine needs. Loved everything about this place including the bathtub, the shower, the bed..... Staff were all wonderful. We will certainly come back.

Great breakfast and conversation with Jack,an asset to the hotel. Good car park adjacent to the hotel.

Room comfortable but very compact. Stairs a little steep with only assistance from female bar staff, we carried our suitcases ourselves.

Beautifully curated for a warm welcome. The staff were all exceptional, delicious food, immaculate room en suite.

Being on the front of the property on a main road after a major downpour made it noisy. We would request a room at the rear of the building in the future.

Hotel staff we very helpful when we had to check in late after a wedding. Room was beautiful everything was just super easy from arrival to leaving. Breakfast was also very good.

We booked 2nights B&B but on the first night we were told breakfast would only be served from 9am and not the confirmed 8am due to staffing issues. The woman was not helpful. We didn't get breakfast because it didn't suit us and when we asked about an evening meal we were directed to the Indian takeaway. Any way on the second morning when 9am did suit us there was a different staff member, breakfast had been served since 8am. Anyway we explained the situation to her and she said she would report it but we didn't get a refund. The place is nice, the food was good but people need to check the details and get them confirmed.

Absolutely perfect! Rooms boutique style and every comfort anticipated, fabulous bathroom and walkin shower (rainshower) lots hot water and big fluffy white towels. Bed so comfortable. Tea and coffee in room, plug sockets next to mirror, quiet, very relaxing stay

The bar could have easily served me a residents nightcap drink (on the room bill) at 22:10 after the public access closed at 22:00. I thought this a little harsh.

Everything! Great location for getting into Bristol, and also a lovely pub with super friendly staff and an excellent beer garden. Plus our room was fantastic! So comfortable and everything showed real consideration. Over and above what we expected, it was the best night's sleep on our trip and we will definitely be back.

La struttura è a pochi chilometri dall'aeroporto di Bristol. Si trova in un delizioso paesino di campagna. Camera arredata molto bene, spaziosa, confortevole e pulita. Letto comodo, bagno ampio, ma cieco. Colazione su ordinazione ma abbondante e ricercata senza limitazioni. Personale giovane, simpatico e disponibile. Abbiamo cenato due volte al pub della struttura con piena soddisfazione.

Il WiFi non si riconnette facilmente ed automaticamente quando si ritorna alla struttura. L'albergo, seppur poco rumoroso, si trova su una strada di scorrimento.

We enjoyed staying there even if only for 1 night. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The room was spacious and comfortable. A little more attention to cleanliness would make the stay even better. Breakfast was excellent, freshly cooked to order, with a great selection of options, including a full English breakfast and eggs prepared the way you like them. The location is another real highlight as it's just a short drive from Bristol Airport, yet surrounded by beautiful countryside, making it peaceful.

Great food and inventive menu with very friendly staff. Lovely, big room, very comfortable bed with a shower and a bath. Near the airport so really convenient for that. 10 mins taxi ride plus a bus that passes to go to airport. A great place to stay in beautiful countryside and much better than staying right at the airport or at one of the nearby chains. Gourmet experience. Recommend it 100%

A szoba kényelmes, nagy, a hátsó kerthelyiségre nézett, külön volt a tusoló és a wc+kád. A pub hangulatos, a reggeli finom volt többféle opcióból lehetett választani.

Az ablakot kb 3cm-re lehetett kinyitni, a szobába nem volt légkondicionáló csal ventilátor, és pont egy hőhullám alatt tartózkodtunk ott így borzasztó meleg volt a szobába. Az extrém, szokatlan időjárásra való tekintettel a biztonsági zárakat ki engedhették volna, és a szoba éjszaka le tudott volna hűlni így. A másik a takarítás, ami rossz volt, az 5 éjszaka alatt egyszer sem takarították fel a padlót a szobába…

The room was very hot and being at the front when the window was opened the early morning traffic noise was disturbing.

Staff were very pleasant. Room was bright and comfortable. Eggs with hollandaise was very good. Option of smaller portions for some food items was very welcome.

Some food items could be improved. Afogato would be better with two scoops of ice cream. More yogurt with the granola would make it less dry to eat.

The room was like oven all night and the air con unit keeping downstairs cool was outside our window pumping more hot air in.

The room was large and very well equipped, great bathroom and fab shower. The staff were all great and the breakfast was lovely - great choice and great service Thank you

Traffic noise at night - our room faced the main road

For our needs it is an excellent location, very clean, comfortable and with lovely staff. Restaurant menu was a good mix of good honest “pub grub” and interesting variations of other dishes. Ingredients are sourced locally each day to ensure freshness. In the very hot weather during our stay the provision of a fan was an added bonus.

There was nothing not to like and we will stay there again when in the area.

La camera è il bagno erano belli e curati.

Purtroppo non c’era l’aria condizionata e quando siamo arrivati in camera c’erano circa 30 gradi. Purtroppo non dipende da loro questo calore anomalo ma la camera era al limite del vivibile. Altra pecca è stata la colazione, purtroppo la mia scelta non ricaduta sulle uova alla benedict che solitamente amo particolarmente è stata sfortunata, però la colazione full English meritava.

Ruime, mooi ingerichte kamer en badkamer. Goed bed. Volop parkeergelegenheid. Goed restaurant. Heel goed ontbijt. Je moet wel alles bestellen wat je wil hebben, want er is geen buffet met bv. Jam, yoghurt ed. of vruchtensap.

Zo'n mooie badkamer.. zonde van die schimmel op het plafond...

Lovely room, booked at short notice. Bed was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly. Breakfast and dinner was excellent. Overall, a lovely start to our holiday.

The only negative, not the fault of the hotel, the superior room was on the side of the main road, which was quite noisy. Next time we will try to get a back room.

We ate a fabulous evening meal. The staff were very attentive. We stayed the night before an early morning flight.

After we'd paid the bill and gone to bed (due to early morning flight) we went to bed. A while later we got a knock at the door by a staff member asking if we had paid our bill. There'd been amix up and we'd paid someone else's bill. They said they had our card details so would put the correct payment through. The next day we saw that they'd taken the correct payment but it took two weeks and two emails before we were refunded what we'd originally been charged. It was all sorted in the end and we would return as it's a nice place to stay the night before an early flight.

Excellent food with good choice. Very comfortable bed and room. It is great to have real coffee, fresh milk and a percolator free in the room. Fairly quiet.

No curtains. The wooden window blind does not keep much light out. Very light at 5am! It wouldn't be much trouble to also have a curtain to draw in front of the blind.

All staff were very helpful friendly and attentive We only ate breaskfast here, however it was delicious especially the Eggs Benedict. The bedroom was comfy. Room 6 is above the kitchen fan however this goes off around 11pm There is a lovely beer garden, plenty of space and lots of places to sit and a childrens play area.

Shower - Rain shower not very practical without hand held shower held shower - and the ceiling had mould. The pub needs a bit of TLC and specifically, the flooring near the kitchen/dining room needs repairing and some of the window sills in the dining room, the paintwork was chipped.

The noise from a fan , ftom outside, that went on and off all night but we would stay again but request a different room!

We arrived having been double booked at our previous accommodation and the man behind the bar couldn't have been more helpful with getting us settled and fed. The rooms were lovely, and the location was great for the airport.

As soon as we arrived, you walked into the bar and all you could smell was a dirty greasy kitchen. Nobody was around to help you. The doors were sealed. The windows were sealed shut so she couldn’t get any fresh air. and the radiator had been left on so it was stifling a lot of road noise overall just very poor.

Lovely clean modern room and upstairs area. Great breakfast, coffee and evening meal. Friendly staff. Nice bar area. Tea and coffee in room and extra milk in flask provided on request.

Bed was too soft in the middle so slept perched on the harder edges. A sign on the doors directing you back to the pub area from the bedrooms would be helpful as 3 doors without signs is a bit confusing. Didn’t see a lift so heavy cases needed to be carried upstairs.

We’ve stayed here a few times. That’s a recommendation in itself. Large bedroom and bed, very friendly staff, great food and places close by to walk the dog.

The only negative, the room I had was at the front and it is a busy road with noise increasing from 5.30am and the delivery truck around 6 made it an earlier than wanted start.

The room we stayed in was very close to the road and I did find it hard to get to sleep.

We had dinner twice and on both occasions it was excellent. Staff were very attentive but relaxed. Waiters were lovely and helpful. Great location- from train station at Backwell to Temple Meads, Bristol takes only 9 minutes We would stay again if visiting Bristol or North Somerset.

I liked the cleanliness of the room. I like the size of the room. but please put some blackout blinds in the room. It was so bright when the sun comes up at 6 o’clock and I was wide-awake.
