Cool place with a great view

Not too close to any outside restaurant options

The resort is calm and quiet, with a private beach and a decently sized pool. The staff is exceptionally friendly, with a family atmosphere, and I had nice conversations. The location is a bit further from the main road, so it’s always quiet at night. It’s a good spot to start exploring the south of Cebu Island. Dayhag Falls is maybe a 30-minute ride away. Wi-Fi was excellent (via Starlink) and available everywhere on the premises. Great good food and a selection of drinks that is hard to find anywhere else on the island.

Sounds cheesy, but we should have staid here for longer. The hotels we got later on our trip weren't as good as Granada.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is very quiet and its for adults only. There are no televisions but the wifi is good. We had a romantic dinner set up on the beach with torches, candles, and great food. Very reasonably priced. All services are billed to your room and you pay at checkout. The pool was very relaxing and there is a massage area. My wife and I loved our stay there and will definitely return.

You need to know when high tide is if you plan to snorkel. It was at 3am when we stayed, but you could snorkel early morning. No generator for brownout. Brownout occurred during our dinner the first night. Still was served our food in a timely manner. Service is great.

The staff are very accommodating, and the place is very quiet. The food and desserts are delicious.

Private beach with coral reef.

Booked my parents a room for the night on the first night we arrived whilst me and my husband booked for 10 nights. Could be tricky to locate the place specially if you're arriving in the middle of the night. Very peaceful and quiet as it is not located next to the main road. Lovely view and amazing staff.

The place needs a bit of updating/redecorating specially the bathroom.

Great staff, location and environment. Definitely worth the money. We'll come again.

The road could be a bit more noob friendly but for an experienced driver of course no problem.

Der Einfahrt zum Hotel ist abenteuerlich, aber auch daran gewöhnt man sich. 🤭 Das Bett war recht hart.

We love our stay at the property. Specially the exclusivity feels, we felt like we are the only ones stating in the resort. Not to mention the beautiful corals when we snorkeled, it was awesome, even had the chance to swim with the turtles 🥰

Beautiful setting and scenery over the ocean, so quiet and peaceful. Lisa and Mike made it a very enjoyable stay and very helpful. All the staff was very friendly, and efficient and pleasant to talk to. Beautiful place for snorkeling.

Nous avons passé un séjour incroyable au Granada Beach Resort ! Dès notre arrivée, nous nous sommes sentis déconnectés et pourtant "comme à la maison". Tout était parfait : Le cadre et les services : La chambre était d'une propreté irréprochable. Mentions spéciales pour les petits-déjeuners, aussi copieux que délicieux, et pour la cuisine faite maison qui est un vrai régal. La détente : Ne manquez surtout pas les massages ! Les faire dans la petite cabane face à la mer, bercés par le bruit des vagues, était un pur moment de bonheur. Les activités : L'hôtel propose un large choix d'excursions et d'activités à des tarifs vraiment très intéressants pour découvrir Boljoon et ses environs. Enfin, un immense merci à Jo et Mike, le couple qui gérait l'établissement lors de notre séjour. Ils sont d'une gentillesse incroyable et d'un accueil remarquable. Ils ont rendu nos vacances encore plus belles en étant toujours disponibles, bienveillants et de super conseil, peu importe nos besoins ou nos questions. C’est un sans-faute. Nous recommandons cet endroit les yeux fermés et nous avons déjà hâte d'avoir l'occasion d'y revenir !

Difficulty access to the property

I should actually not even say that this is a hidden gem, because I would like it to keep it for myself: - amazing place to stay, view over the bay - great snorkling spot - big pool - private beach - excellent cooking (hey you get non-sweet pasta!)🤣 All in all a 10/10 And I would absolutely recommend Alex as tourguide for the waleshark experience in Oslob. This hotel is the perfect place for this exciting adventure.

You could argue the road to the place, but that makes it even more fun 🤷‍♂️🤣

Very clean place, well-maintained, very relaxing, and feels safe even at night when its light off time. They also offer a lot of activities.

We extended our stay for a further 3 nights because we loved it so much. Great place to stay, relaxing and quiet. Staff and Managers are really nice, go the extra mile and helpful. Comfy beds and pillows. Good size room. Thanks for the great stay.

We initially booked for three nights, and on day 2 extended for an extra 3 nights. Nice vibe, great place to relax, snorkel over the wee reef, swim in the sea and the pool. Food is good, good choice of drinks too. Walkable to Boljoon, but hot. Tricycles are plentiful and will even drop you off at the resort (rather than the drive). Resort has transport options to places (although we were happy going for walks and hanging around the resort).

The property is Oslob there a lot of vacation tourism areas, very good location for that.

Everything was perfect, They accommodated us for the Whale Shark Swimming and their guide was outstanding with video and pictures of my wife and I next to the Whale Shark. The Owner Lisa set up a van for us to return to Cebu City. I would highly recommend this resort. It was quiet, food was good and there are areas to snorkel right off the property, or you can swim in the pool.

Exceptional staff, particularly the managers Sarah and Tom. Nothing was too much trouble. Delicious food and perfect location. A coral reef sits right out front for snorkelling and the pool was delightful. We booked some excellent tours through the resort.

The staff were friendly and accommodating. The menu, while simple offered a lot of variety and vegetarian options. The vegetarian options were low on protein but that was easily supplemented by adding eggs to my meals. The house reef was amazing. The resort was quiet and quaint. Also many cute house geckos! It was great to be outside the touristy areas.

There's no good coffee shops nearby, and the resort coffee An espresso machine and lattes would go a long way.

Our family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Granada Beach Resort. Following the booking and in the lead up to our holiday, Mike and Lisa were very helpful in providing us with details of the tours available, suggestions and tips to add to our itinerary. From Levi, who drove us from Cebu airport to the resort, to Andrea, Joy, Eileen and ALL the staff at the resort - everyone was genuinely friendly and keen that we have the best holiday possible. A special thank you to the resort's caretakers, Tom and Sara, for the lovely conversations at breakfast and dinner time, the handy information and tips, and for your concern and help during a very brief period of illness. (Should such a thing happen during your stay, there's pharmacies and public hospital / private clinic within a 20 minute drive from the resort) Our rooms - deluxe and terrace, were spacious, clean, comfortable and with just enough amenities required. The views from the balcony were incredible. The restaurant perched at the edge of the little hill and overlooking the ocean was perfectly placed for us to enjoy all the delicious meals served up with a smile, always a smile. The diverse marine life even at the water's edge was magnificent and we spent hours snorkelling, fascinated with the corals and fish. The resort is well placed to do an early morning swim with the whale sharks and is a 30 minute drive from the Sumilon island port for a day trip to the resort there. (Email the resort there directly to confirm availability and for the best rates) Alex, our driver and companion for tours took us to the best waterfalls in the area and helped us with good cafe and restaurant recommendations along the way. (A packed breakfast from the resort can be organised if you leave on a tour prior to breakfast service. With the whale shark tour, guests return for breakfast) All in all, an excellent stay in a beautiful resort with the most amazing staff!

Un peu éloigné de tout mais dans la norme des Philippines. Plage pour Snorkleurs pas pour baigneurs ( pas de sable) .

La beauté des lieux- endroit magnifique ou la plage permet de faire du snorkeling avec une mer magnifique - de jolis poissons - Niveau hôtel : rien à redire - déjeuné extra- possibilité de manger à midi et au soir .

Fantástico hotel con playa privada, vistas maravillosas, y un snorkel fantástico para disfrutar de ver coral y peces en exclusiva. Tom, muy amable, nos acompañó a hacer snorkling enseñándonos las zonas más interesantes, así como tortugas. Buena comida.

Wir hatten am ersten Tag schon 4 Geckos im Zimmer und in unserem Bett! Am 2. Tag ist auch noch eine 8 Zentimeter große Spinne neben einem der Betten aufgetaucht. Es war natürlich klar das diese Tiere reingekommen sind, da die Fenster nicht abgedichtet waren und bei den Türen ein 1-2 cm großer Spalt jeweils zu draußen war. Das Zimmer und Bad war absolut nicht sauber! Wir waren davor in 4 Hotels auf den Philippinen aber so ein Zimmer haben wir noch nie erlebt, besonders nicht um diesen Preis !! Nachdem wir angefragt haben, ob wir Zimmer wechseln können hieß es es sind keine Zimmer mehr frei und das sei halt „wild Life“ . 2 Stunden später sahen wir das grade jemand sein Zimmer neben uns bezieht … Wir haben die 2. Nacht auswärts geschlafen, und waren danach bei der Rezeption, wo wir großzügigerweise von unseren 3 Nächten 1 Nacht retour erstatt bekamen, da wir zu spät waren das sie das Zimmer noch heute vergeben hätten können … Als ob jemand anders in dieses Zimmer wollen würde, wenn er wüsste was da drin alles wohnt !!! Sehr enttäuschend für das was wir alles auf uns nehmen mussten, nur um sicher zu sein, dass wir in der Nacht ruhig schlafen konnten …

The breakfast daily was great! Very friendly staff and we enjoyed our atay 100%. The room was larger than we imagined. Very pleased with the restaurant food.

This hotel is located on a stunning sea front location. Small beach and pool area plus a great choice of food for breakfast. The staff are very attentive.x . There isn’t many restaurants near by , but honestly the food at this hotel is excellent. The food and drinks were also very reasonably priced. The rooms are large and comfortable. Just don’t expect ultra modern. But one of the main highlight for our stay was the hotel organised the whale shark tour. Yes you are up early but you are back for breakfast. The tour guide was brilliant and has all the knowledge to guide the group through the experience so effectively. Plus he will take a video and download them to your phone . I would highly recommend spending a few days here.

От аэропорта Себу ехать примерно 3-4 часа, в зависимости от времени суток. Но тут зато нет толп людей. Днём на отдельном пляже мы иногда были вдвоём. Хороший бар и кухня, ужины тоже тут часто брали. Свой собственный коралловый риф, много обитателей. Разок видел черепаху. Управляющий отелем сказал что если сильно повезёт, можно увидеть китовых акул, они очень редко заходят. Отель в лесистой местности, поэтому может быть живность. У нас жило семейство гекконов)) комаров нет.

Горячая вода как и в других местах греется только от солнца. После часа ночи прохладно.

Honestly I can't understand all the comments being amazed by this place so much. Yes, it's in a nice secluded place, yes it has a pretty private beach, but that's it. We didn't mind the general state of the place.

The staff needs to be much more attentive and friendlier. Our room had mold all over the ceiling and walls in some parts. Also, our bathroom window was opening to the outside seating area, where there were people chilling often, you can see how this can be uncomfortable. The food was just okay, some things even bad to be honest. Breakfast was either swimming in oil or water. Cocktails also a fail. I'm generally not a Karen, but this place really does not deserve such high rating at these prices. Also the beach was not marinated, rubbish from day one was there the second day too..

Emplacement incroyable ! Des coraux préservés accessibles en snorkeling depuis la plage privée. Plusieurs tortues. Parfois d'autres espèces puisque l'endroit se trouve entre 2 côtes donc moins sujet au courant. Une vue dégagée sur les côtes de Cebu. Possibilité de louer un scooter et de se rendre en 30minutes au départ du spot des requins baleines (option simple et bien moins onéreuse que de passer par un tour operateur). Y aller vers 7h00 car à 6h00 tous les tours provenant de Cebu font déjà la queue.

La chambre que nous avions a subit un dégât des eaux et l'humidité est très présente (odeur et trace). Mais cela ne nous a pas empêché de profiter pleinement du séjour dans ce beau lieu.

Friendly and supportive staff. Food was delicious. We enjoyed snorkeling from the private beach. They helped us schedule a driver for a private tour.

Loved the reef with so many different types of fish and coloured coral. Being able to play different games. The gym as such was great.

Absolutely loved the outlook of the restaurant very relaxing and the reef was amazing with so many coloured fish and coral. The bed was very comfy too.

No hot water for a shower. Also would suggest a yellow line or similar at the bottom of the steps to indicate one more step down to alleviate any falls. The balcony railing needs replacing as in one part there is nothing which when your holding on and suddenly its gone is quite frightening. A dash of paint on the ladder where it comes down from the upstairs bedrooms to cover where there isnt any paint. Also would suggest a blackboard or similar showing the tours available each day and mention the more people the cheaper it is! Show day and no of people going on that tour.

Beautiful spot, amazing hosts. Eddie and Tom make you feel in family. Magical place, very good food and excellent snorkeling.

Zo vriendelijk, zo lief. Onze bagage was niet aangekomen. Transfer geregeld via transfer. En taxichaffeur ik dacht edgar, was de aardigste taxichauffeur ooit. Hij bracht ons overal naar toe. En de mensen bij t hotel waren ook zo begaan en lief.

Location, very friendly staff and spa. Overall, the place is beautiful, relaxing and I would go there again
