Die Wohnung war sehr schön. Leider im Winter viel zu kalt, da es nur zwei Heizplatten an einer Wand im Wohnzimmer gibt.

Perfect location at the end of Kenton main street, 15 mins walk to shops, restaurants, bars and the beach. We stayed in the Penhouse which was exceptional with a huge balcony and sweeping views. A well resourced kitchen, comfortable living room and bedroom. Kenton itself is a beautiful laid back town with everything in walking distance and a vast sweep of amazing beach.

Locatie was prima: op loopafstand van de rivier/zee. Modern ingericht onderkomen, goed onderhouden en comfortabel.

Het ziet er leuk uit, maar wellicht hadden wij het minst leuke kamer?

Erg zakelijk, wat op zich niet erg is. Maar het geeft je geen “leuk dat jullie er zijn, waar kan ik je mee helpen” gevoel! Dat zie ik meestal anders in zuid Afrika. Verder vinden wij de hygiëne wel belangrijk en daar helpt een zwart beschimmelde douche onderkant niet mee. De zitbank is gewoon afgeragd, slap en voelt gewoon ongezellig, net als de ouderwetse tv. Voor de rest ziet het er wel netjes uit, veel beton en glas. Daardoor heb je behoorlijk contact geluid (waar wij zaten, midden onder). Kind dat huilt, stoelen die schuiven, mensen die vroeg uitchecken..maar ja, onze verwachting kwam niet uit helaas. Oh ja: de fan maakte een ongemakkelijk geluid en dat helpt niet mee aan een prettige nachtrust! Ontbijt was daarentegen heerlijk, koffie lekker. Lieve mensen daar, dat moet ook gezegd worden!

The location was excellent. Room was good. Street parking was safe, despite the lack of cameras.

Für eine Nacht eine angenehme Unterkunft. Das Zimmer wurde mit Seeblick angeboten, allerdings sah man das Meer nur in der Ferne, etwas irreführend.

Helle Räume mit Blick auf das Meer. Es ist alles vorhanden was man für einen schönen Aufenthalt benötigt. Die Touristeninformation ist gleich auf der anderen Straßenseite.

Wir sind am Sonntag angereist und haben eine Liste mit den Restaurants der Umgebung bekommen. Was uns nicht gesagt wurde ist, dass die Restaurants am Sonntag geschlossen haben. So wurde es dann nur eine Pizza.

Die Lage zu den fantastischen Stränden, das Personal, und das Frühstück im eigenen Restaurant waren für uns außergewöhnlich.

Es gibt keine Klimaanlage, was in heißen Sommermonaten und der Dusche im Zimmer durchaus problematisch ist. Für Raucher gibt es keinen Bereich, so dass man einfach vor den Gebäude (auf der Straße) rauchen muss.

Die Nähe zu guten Restaurants, die Möglichkeit nebenan zu frühstücken und einzukaufen und der nahe gelegene lange Strand.

Im Vergleich zu ähnlichen Quartieren etwas hochpreisiger, da ohne Frühstück.

Die Sanitärsituation finde ich etwas ungünstig. Die Toilettentür lässt sich schlecht öffnen.

Amazing location in the centre of Kenton on Sea. Lovely restaurants within walking distance. Quiet and comfortable. Lovely spa for massage right next door.

El desayuno fue genial, muy abundante y varias opciones para elegir. El dormitorio muy espacioso y tenía todo lo que podés necesitar. El pueblo es muy chico así que te queda cerca de todo.

View was amazing, facilities what I would expect for luxury accommodation. Great check-in v friendly. Good location with parking. Nice layout inside, well though out furnishings, comfortable.

Floor dust/dirty in bathroom. Mat outside shower was dirty, a proper bath mat would have been a better more hygienic option. Stains on one of the pillow protectors was visible through the pillow case. New iron needed.

I did not eat breakfast as I booked self catering . Parking is not secured but I can not falter you as there is NO space .

auf unserer vierten Tour entlang der Garden Route von Cape Town nach Kenton-On-Sea, knapp 4000 km in knapp 4 Wochen war dies das beste Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Frühstück gab es à la Carte im nebenan gelegenen und wohl dazugehörigen Restaurant mit Küchenstudio und Einrichtungshaus "the houseplanner". Unser Apartment war eigentlich für 4 Personen gedacht, aber über soooo viel Platz beschwert man sich wohl nicht und die Ausstattung der Küchenzeile dürfte schon so manchen Gast neidisch gemacht haben. Der große Balkon mit Blick zur Flußmündung lädt zum Sundowner ein. Die Fahrt zum Anleger des Sibuya Game Reserve dauert 3 Minuten, man muss nicht dort teuer übernachten - die Tagestour im privaten Reservat genügt völlig. Wer sowieso bis zum Addo Park fährt, sollte dies unbedingt noch mit dranhängen

Google maps hat uns zum tiefergelegenen und verschlossenen Notausgang am Ende der Cornwall Road geführt. Wenn auch dafür die Unterkunft nichts kann: eine bessere Beschreibung und der Hinweis, nicht mit Google zu navigieren, wäre sinnvoll. Die Rezeption ist am Tresen im Restaurant nebenan. Man sollte bis 17.00 Uhr erscheinen, will man dort den Schlüssel in Empfang nehmen - am Wochenende bis 14.30 Uhr

Wir haben ein Upgrade vom Studio auf das Penthouse bekommen. Die Aussicht war ein Traum! Luxus pur. Das Frühstück wurde im Restaurant nebenan serviert. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Die Terassenmöbel entsprechen nicht der sonst sehr stylischen Einrichtung. Hier wären schicke Loungemöbel passender. Aber das ist Jammern auf hohem Niveau !

The room was so nice, neat and beautiful

The trees on the balcony are blocking the ocean view they need to be trimmed off a bit. The treatment I had received from the restaurant is horrible where I had literally had to wait for about an hour to be served my breakfast whereas 3 tables of different color as mine arrived after I had ordered my breakfast they were served first, paid their bill and left whilst I was sitting there waiting and I had lost my appetite and left the restaurant. During my booking I added breakfast 2 breakfast for Saturday and Sunday for me and my wife of which we did not eat we paid for the horrible hospitality at THE HOUSE KITCHEN and if the preference of race comes first it must be stated, so that people of color (blacks) may look for other places where they are going to be treated equally with other customers.

The prperty as a whole being modern, clean lines, good taste and neatness and cleanliness of the building as a whole and the apartment that we stayed in.

I cannot say that there is anything that I did not like about the property.

Die Einrichtung und Ausstattung des Zimmers sind grundsätzlich gut haben aber bessere Tage gesehen.

Das Zimmer wirkte insgesamt etwas schmuddelig. Eine sorgfaeltigere Reinigung könnte hier Wunder wirken. Fingerabdrücke auf Glastüren und gebraucht riechende Kopfkissen müssen nicht sein und sind eigentlich einfach zu beheben. Ich bin auch nicht sicher, ob der Gast erst feststellen muss, dass ein Waschbecken nicht abläuft. Das wurde zwar umgehend behoben, beeinträchtigt aber den ersten Eindruck.

Haus und Zimmer haben eine schöne Architektur. Unbedingt Zimmer im EG (nicht im UG) buchen, aufgrund der schönen Aussicht Richtung Meer. Das Frühstück im The House Kitchen nebenan war sehr lecker.

Haus und Zimmer sind in die Jahre gekommen und wirken etwas schmuddelig.

The accommodation is incredibly well thought out design wise. Your every need is provided for and everything is of a very high standard. The rooms are well maintained and very clean. Housekeeping was prompt, pleasant and thorough. Parking is available right outside the accommodation. The on site restaurant is very convenient and flexible re gluten free and vegan diets. Access security system and wifi availability was much appreciated.

We were highly satisfied with the entire experience.
