Hotel Goldener Löwe

Unfortunatelly, I could not like and satisfy anything at the hotel except staff. I stayed at the hotel on 8–9 September and was accommodated in room 102. Unfortunately, the room was full of spider webs and spiders. It looked as if the room had not been used or properly cleaned for a long time. Because of this, I was unable to sleep properly and informed the hotel staff. Unfortunately, all rooms were fully booked, so the staff member cleaned the room with a vacuum cleaner. However, I still had serious problems sleeping throughout the night. There were spiders around the bed, on the ceiling, around the windows, and basically everywhere in the room. I strongly believe that the hotel needs to arrange proper pest control. Unfortunately, this experience was very disturbing for me, and I will definitely not stay at this hotel again.

L'emplacement.

L'hotel est tres vieux, il y avait des toiles d'araignées partout.....avec des araignées !!! Impossible de regler la temperateur de l'eau.....Les rideaux de le chambres étaient poussiéreux. La literie est moyenne. Par contre le prix est exorbitant pour une qualité d'hotel moyenne.... 150 euros la nuit, pour une personne !!!! Seule bonne note, le personnel et le responsable.

Zentrale Lage, sehr nettes Personal!

Wir waren für eine Nacht hier. Das Zimmer war groß und sauber. Auch das Badezimmer war mit allem was man braucht ausgestattet und sauber. Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war reichlich.

Das Hotel war nicht voll belegt weshalb ich den Speiseraum zum Frühstück für mich alleine hatte. Es wurde aber beim bezahlen auch Frühstück für meinen Sohn abgezogen, der aber garnicht gefrühstückt hat.

Alles unkompliziert

Sehr aufmerksames Personal. Wir waren in der Adventszeit da. Es ist so zentral, dass man den Weihnachtsmarkt aus dem Fenster sehen konnte.

Die Lage ist mal sehr Zentral! gute Ziele, wie die Kriebsteiner Talsperre *******(7Sternchen) sind easy erreichbar ! Das Personal ist sehr empfehlenswert, komplett entspannt und stets hilfreich zur Seite ! Das Essen - Frühstück & Abendbrot von sehr hoher Qualität ! Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, das BAD ein Traum ! schöner geht es da echt nicht ! Das Zimmer hatte einen Minikühlschrank-mit INHALT-also ohne externe Kosten !!! So habe ich das noch nicht wirklich erlebt, obwohl ich viel unterwegs bin und in Hotels übernachte ! Fazit : Das Zimmer ist / war seinen Preis WERT !! es gab auch einen eigenen kostenlosen Parkplatz!!!!! NUR für Gäste ! RUND UM PERFEKT ! Man kommt vom Frühstück-da ist schon das Zimmer aufgeräumt und geputzt - HAMMER !! In der Umgebung Waldheim/Döbeln/Leisnig werde ich NUR noch DIESES HOTEL nehmen 7******** einfach auf ALLES - Gerne Wieder ♥

Es ist immer wieder schön in Waldheim zu sein. Die Lage des Hotel ist sehr gut. Parken konnte man auch gleich kostenlos um die Ecke.

Die Küche war toll

Old hotel in the middle of a little town in Eastern Germany. Friendly people and good and clean rooms maby a little old-fashioned. Nice beds. No airco. Breakfast was good with perfect boiled eggs. Nice.

We needed a hotel in this area of Saxony and the Goldener Lówe seemed to fit the bill. The rooms are spacious, the beds however are made up of foam mattresses and ill fitting duvets and pillows (the stuffing tries to escape the cover). The one night we spent in the restaurant we found a 'guest' entering the bar, expousing expletives in English! (f...cking) and was promptly served a beer by staff. Staff then proceed to be intimate with this chap sitting at the bar within full view of our table and the restaurant, and I don't mean just kissing....A local couple walked out in disgust and at this point we had enough and left for the sanctuary of our room. Our complaint to the breakfast waitress next day was not followed up by management and no apology was forthcoming from the owners. This lusty member of staff was still on duty the following evening - needless to say we had to make other arrangements for dinner that night. We were charged for the wine on that evening, but not the food. We wanted to speak with the management during our weekend stay but nobody was available until 'Monday' when they failed to appear even at 11am when we checked out.

Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt verbunden mit einem sehr guten Service der Rezeption.Die Lage ist einmalig direkt am Zschopau Tal.

I booked this hotel more for its proximity to Colditz castle. To be honest I was not expecting much. But, the hotel was refurbished 3 years ago and the rooms are modern and clean. And right on the main square, it was a great location. The restaurant was very good and we sat out in the square to eat and have a drive on a warm evening. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was basic but nice. But at EUR5.00pp we couldn't complain. The only down side was that our room wasn't air conditioned and didn't have fan either and in the unseasonal hot weather we had, we could have done with either.

This is a very nice hotel, simple but new & clean. The staff were very friendly & speak a little English, but more to the point were very patient with my poor attempts at speaking German.

Hotel prima Ihre Leistung mangelhaft und nur abzocke

This hotel is comfortable with big rooms and large bathrooms. Comfortable beds. Very central for town. Restaurant tries too hard to be trendy and the turquoise and orange decor are unpleasant. Ate there first night but found the menu to be quite limited and ate at Ratskeller next night.

We chose to stay at the Hotel Goldener Lowe due to its proximity to our racing venue and we’re so glad we did. Spotlessly clean hotel, rooms are a fantastic size, great food (ample breakfast and delicious evening meal) and the staff helpful and friendly. Hotel really does offer everything you need. The only one criticism I would make is the size of the car park it was fairly small but having said that it won’t detract from us staying here again. Unfortunately our 4 night stay was the same time as the Waldheim Festival which went on for 3 of those nights with really, really loud music which went on until the early hours of the morning (nothing that a pair of ear plugs couldn’t handle though).
