Reviewed Jun 19, 2026I really enjoyed staying here. The room was simple but clean and tidy, the way I like it. It overlooked the street to the plaza, so there was some noise during the day, but I was mostly out in the afternoon and at night it quietened down surprisingly quickly. The location is superb - a few hundred metres from the main square, the cathedral, and the breath-taking church of Santo Domingo. The shower is good.
My room was actually two rooms, but the price wasn't any higher so for me the extra space was a plus. I'd never stayed in a hotel that was built into a mall like that before, but it didn't bother me at all.
