En general todo, la mansión muy bonita, la habitación para tres enorme, dos camas muy grandes. Una terraza preciosa, baño completo, aire , televisión, y detalles de agua y café soluble,,, muy de agradecer . Limpio y confortable. El desayuno no tuvimos la oportunidad de probar, aunque se veía genial, por motivos de excursiones no había tiempo.

Struttura consigliata! Stanza comoda, zona tranquilla, sita su una piazza quindi comoda per park e scarico borse in piano. Si sta relax a poco dal centro.

Non prenotare la colazione per chi.necessita gluten/milk free in quanto non sono organizzati ed il rapporto con la quota colazione non vale la pena. In camera non c è neanche una sedia/poltrona per appoggiare gli abiti

Das Zimmer für drei Personen war außergewöhnlich groß mit einer hohen stuckverzierten Decke und toll gefließtem Bad. Auch das Hotel insgesamt war sehr sehenswert. Es gab einen Fahrstuhl. Die Rezeption ist durchgängig besetzt. Man geht nur wenige Minuten bis zum Zentrum.

Der Teppich im Zimmer müsste mal gereinigt werden.

The bathrooms were clean and good. Staff were really friendly and helpful.

There were no comfortable blankets , no proper cupboards to put the clothes . No chairs to sit . Locks of the doors are not easy to lock. Could not get proper sleep, because of noise from the top floor. Breakfast options are really poor.

Staff is incredibly friendly and the Hotel is beautiful. Yes it may be a bit worn out, but it's not that it's badly maintained and suits the charme of the place. We enjoyed the family suite with a large balcony.

Staff gentilissimo, molto bella e pulita la struttura. Ottima la posizione, principali attrattive del centro raggiungibili in 10-15 minuti a piedi (in discesa) e linee della metro vicine compresa una che consente di accedere a più linee e di arrivare all’aeroporto in 40 minuti.

The fact they have secured parking was very good, dog friendly and there is a dog park across the street.

The room smelled bad like sewer the entire stay, the bathroom walls were dirty and the soap dispenser in the shower was broken. There was a mature gentleman working reception on Wednesday morning who was very rude and not very helpful. This hotel does not offer a breakfast option if it wasn’t pre-ordered with the original booking, they really need to be more attentive to added value services.

La ubicación buena aunque Oporto es una ciudad en la cual hay mucha cuesta y hay que caminar mucho.

El sofá cama de las niñas muy incómodo por el colchón. No obstante la habitación tenía una terraza maravillosa y era muy amplia.

Me gustó el encantó del edificio. La cama era cómoda. Nuestra estancia fue sin desayuno por lo que no puedo calificar el desayuno. La habitación amplia y bonita, pero tenía algún que otro detalle de limpieza como la botella de agua que dejan de cortesía tenia manchas en la parte del tapón y por donde se bebe. Tampoco nos gustó el sistema en que se cierran las puertas de la habitación, entiendo que sea así por la antigüedad del edificio. Por el resto todo muy bien. Tienen parking privado de pago, nos costó 13 euros la noche.

De kamer was niet echt heel schoon

El hotel en general tiene mucho encanto, es muy singular y original, a nosotras nos ha encantado. Nos toco una habitación con un techo espectacular de principios del siglo XX que contrastaba de manera armoniosa con del mobiliario de la habitación que era más moderno. Muy cuidado, muy limpio. El personal muy amable y respetuoso. El desayuno muy variado, estilo buffet. La ubicación es excelente, a pocos metros tienes un montón de bares realmente locales, incluido uno que se llama Casa Expresso, si sigues bajando por esas calles ya llegas a las zonas mucho más turísticas. Llegamos en coche y el último día nos dejaron dejar unas horas más el coche en el parking para ir a pasear. Todo genial de verdad, mil veces mejor que ir a un AirBnb.

Nos gustó todo. Cuando volvamos, ya sabemos dónde nos vamos a quedar!

La cama muy cómoda (aunque vibraba en ocasiones con el movimiento exterior), la habitación y el baño muy amplios. La limpieza del baño. Las sábanas olían genial.

A localização do hotel foi bastante conveniente, era possível fazer vários passeios à pé, como a Livraria Lello. As instalações do hotel, embora antigo, eram bem conservadas e de bom gosto. A cama era muito confortável, o banho também muito bom. O café da manhã era razoável.

Miłu hotel w pięknym starym domu, z przyzwoitym śniadaniem. Pokoje kategorii Grand Deluxe są dwa: nr 35 - jest kwadratowy i chyba najpiękniejszy, zaś 36 ma fajny duży taras z widokiem na ogród.

El trato que recibimos fue excepcional: fueron muy amables y atentos. El edificio es muy bonito y auténtico.

La conexión wifi en la habitación era pésima y muy lenta. El tirador de la puerta del baño estaba roto.

What I liked: - The staff. Check-in and check-out was very easy and fast. They were friendly. - The terrace with my room. Wow what a view! It's very relaxing to sit or lay here. However keep in my mind, it gets very hot in summer and no shade. - The hotel looks very charming. - The bed was clean and firm. - My room at the back of the hotel was very quiet. Also thanks to my neighbours. But absolutely no noise from outside. I slept great! - Airconditioning worked fine. Didn't make a lot of noise. - Supermarket 2 min walk from the hotel. - Metro 8 min walk. - Felt safe.

What I didn't like: - The bathroom and overall cleaning. I know it's a 2 star hotel but the cleaning and maintenance could be better! Although my room got cleaned everyday (sink, toilet, bed, trashcan) and they refreshed new towels, there was dust, stains on walls and doors, hairs that didn't belong to me, mold in the bathroom. Deep clean the room! - The location. I wished it was a little bit more near the centre. It's a 20 min walk to the heart of the city. When it's hot and those hills....it can be a lot. However a hotel near the city centre would probably cost more.

Obsługa w hotelu była przemiła i bardzo pomocna, pokój był czysty, jednak wymaga lekkiego odświeżenia. Cały budynek to klimatyczna stara rezydencja. Obiekt położony w dobrej lokalizacji blisko dwóch stacji metra.

W pokoju niestety nie było lodówki.

A única coisa a apontar, foi o barulho de uma bomba, penso que uma bomba de água, que esteve a trabalhar toda a noite. Acabou por prejudicar um pouco o sono. Somente isso. De resto, tudo óptimo

Traditional manor house, secure parking

The management tried charging twice for parking and started causing a scene when I refused to pay twice. It was a terrible journey into the main area of the city but mainly due to roadworks and redevelopment. No fault of the hotel

Tamanho do quarto superou minha expectativa. A varando da quarto fez muita diferença, pois usamos para tomar um vinho e ficar admirando o anoitecer e o céu que estava muito lindo (estávamos na primavera). Banheiro também bem grande, espaçoso e chuveiro excelente. Estacionamento foi ótimo pois estávamos com carro alugado. Localização muito boa. Caminhada fácil até o mercado Bolhão.

Infelizmente o valor por pessoa do café da manhã não era atrativo. Penso que o valor da diária e a qualidade do hotel, o café da manhã poderia ser um atrativo para o hospede

La verdad la atención del dueño/administrador y la chica de recepción. Muy preocupados por que no teni la habitación qué había reservado, asi que me bonificaron 20 euros. La h habiacion asignada estaba muy bien.

No se si el elevador ...ligeramente hacia ruido

small hotel with only 14 rooms at the edge of town centre ~300 metres from Trindad metro station. Very nice rooms with beautiful historic stucco ceilings and internal wooden shutters for large windows. Wide wooden staircase in a historic building with some modern art on the walls. Rather new bathrooms. Rich breakfast, very friendly staff.

In our room, the carpet needs changing and the brass rail holding the cloth screen of the headboard above the bed was a bit wobbly. No air condition but the high windows allow sufficient air exchange in the night if you are on the first floor.

床に少しシミがあって古さを感じる部屋でしたが、基本的に雰囲気がよく、清潔に掃除が行き届いています。シャワーの扉の隙間から水が飛び跳ね漏れて、少し床が少し水浸しになりましたが、注意して使えば大丈夫かと。清潔に洗濯されていますが、タオルが古いのが気になりました。早朝の飛行機なのですが、タクシー手配を頼みました、現金で35€かかり、少し高いと感じたので、ホテルのフロントでお願いするときに事前に料金確認しておけば良かった。冷蔵庫が無いのが残念。

En el desayuno habia de todo, embutido, fruta , mermelada, y muchas mas cosas, nos gusto todo. Respecto a la ubicacion, es un lugar tanquilo, cerca de la Avda de los Aliados y otros puntos turisticos.

Ένα παλιό αρχοντικό άριστα ανακαινισμένο... πολύ κοντά στο κεντρικό σταθμό Trindade για νά έρθεις από το αεροδρόμιο και νά πάς... πολύ κοντά στο κέντρο τής πόλης πολύ καθαρό κάθε ημέρα καθάρισμα τό δωμάτιο και αλλαγή σέ πετσέτες... Απέναντι από έναν καταπληκτικό κήπο... Τό συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα και θά τό επέλεγα για την επόμενη φορά....

Prima locatie op 20 minuten lopen van oude centrum Porto. Goede parkeerlocatie direct naast hotel. Mooie kamer met fijn balkonterras.

Personnel très sympathique, confort de la literie. Petit déjeuner parfait.

Chambre triple au RDC, très belle chambre mais un bruit récurent tôt le matin que nous n avons pas identifié ? Ce qui nous empêcherait pas de revenir dans cet hôtel lors d un séjour à Porto. Peut être un peu loin du centre ( pour nous qui avons la soixantaine)

Plutôt bien isolé n'avons pas été incommode par du bruit , dame à l'accueil très prévenante et chaleureuse

The staff were very helpful with storage of luggage, easy check in and assistance with arranging a taxi to the airport. The room was clean and tidy.

A perfectly located, intimate property with very friendly service. Despite its location on a high ground floor right next to the street, the room was well-soundproofed, equipped with efficient, quiet air conditioning, and a well-equipped bathroom.

Since I was here for work purposes, the room lacked at least one chair and a small table for laptop.

Kein 08/15 Hotel, sondern Haus mit Charme eines kleinen Stadtpalastes, originale Stuckdecken und historisches Treppenhaus. Alles gepflegt, wer etwas besonderes mit einem annehmbaren Preis wünscht ist hier richtig. Große historisch geschnittene Zimmer, einfach aber funktional eingerichtet, sauber. Air condition individuell einstellbar, Bad saniert. Leider kein Kühlschrank im Zimmer. Frühstück sah OK aus, aber nicht genutzt. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Lage am Rande des Zentrums, alles fussläufig erreichbar. Parkplätze auf Hof vorhanden. Auf dem Weg in die Stadt viele Restaurants abseits der üblichen Touristen Ströme. Historische Markthalle nur 10 min Fußweg.Placa República vor dem Hotel gepflegte Grünananlage. Wir hatten Zimmer nach hinten mit Terrasse (Sonnenliegen) und Sofa, Blick über Gärten der Nachbarschaft bis zum Atlantik, Vogelgezwitscher. Ab Vormittag bis Sonnenuntergang Sonne. Würde The Rex wieder wählen. Wer ein modernes standardisiertes Hotel sucht ist hier falsch.

Ein kleiner Zimmerkühlschrank wäre eine sinnvolle Investition.

Für mich wunderschönes Objekt ! Mit dem Wunsch das solche „Kunsthandwerke“ erhalten werden! Personal höflich , diskret und zuvorkommend zu gleich!

Het was een prachtig hotel, met fijn personeel.

Het ontbijt had wat groter / diverser gemogen van ons.

La ubicación es perfecta, está a menos de 5min de la estación Trindade y está cerca de muchos sitios. Tiene un supermercado super cerca, junto con cafeterías y restaurantes. Estaba muy limpio y la relación calidad-precio es muy buena. La limpieza y reposición diaria de agua se agradecen mucho! Si vuelvo a Oporto, repetiría sin duda!

Sería genial que tuviera un microondas y un minibar ya que no tienes donde calentar comids cuando quieres picar algo en la noche ni mantener las bebidas frescas sobretodo en primavera o verano.

Mucho ruido

The best thing about the  Rex Hotel is the building itself. It’s absolutely amazing - a grand, nineteenth century house, even a palace, built for wealthy Porto merchants. The ceiling in our room was made up of elaborate plasterwork and paintwork, including portraits of some of its original owners. Really spectacular! /see picture/ It was also a huge room - and the ceiling was probably about five metres high. Not sure how many of the rooms on offer are this special, though. The ceilings of the reception, staircase and breakfast were almost as impressive - really beautiful. The staff were also absolutely lovely.

Downside - it is much further away from the historic centre than you’d think, about a half hour walk, although the area itself, where it is, is  perfectly pleasant, with nice bars and little restaurants. Sadly, the hotel also felt quite neglected. Our bathroom was nice, but the carpet in our room was really dirty and stained, and the room was very smelly when we first entered it. Breakfast as well was a let down, could have done with even a boiled egg, or some sort of warm option for the price. You get the feeling someone could make an awful lot more out of this beautiful building. Hope someone does that, because it could be an absolute stunner.

L'albergo si trova in una bella piazza, anche senza prendere i mezzi di raggiungono le vie principali a piedi. Personale attento e simpatico, la camera era pulita e il letto comodo.

Mi habitación era algo oscura, en el subsuelo

Schönes Zimmer mit Terrasse und Blick bis zum Wasser. Ruhig, trotz der Lage an einer stark befahrenen Straße. Zentral und gut zu erreichen.

Das Zimmer war wohl längere Zeit nicht vermietet, und deshalb nicht ganz so sauber, sehr staubig. Aber das Bad war sauber.

The property was clean, just outside the centre but still close to it. It’s an old building, but clean and well kept. The staff were very good and helpful. The older gentleman at reception and the girl in the afternoon were both excellent.

Nothing. The only thing I didn’t like was that the room above mine was really noisy and sometimes banging on the floor.

Kiva pieni hotelli. Hyvä sijainti, kävelymatkan päässä paljon nähtävää. Ystävällinen henkilökunta. Aamiainen ok, tosin jotain vihanneksia olisi kaivannut, joten päädyin syömään usein ulkona. Lähellä paljon hyviä aamiais-/brunssipaikkoja. Viikon matkalle ihan hyvä.

Huono valaistus. Huoneessa ei ole lainkaan kattovaloa, vain kaksi pientä seinälamppua sängyn molemmin puolin. Bookingin kuvauksessa luki että olisi vaatekaappi/-komero. Sen sijaan olikin vaateteline, jossa peili, muutama henkari ja yksi taso. Ei oikein saanut kaikkia vaatteita siihen ja täytyi pitää osa laukussa. Sisustuksellisesti ihan kiva ratkaisu, muttei oikein käytännöllinen. Katto myös halkeili.
