Location and space within apartment. The shower was great

No mattress or pillow protectors, which I thought were standard in these properties. Sofa's were stained, didn't seem to be cleaned properly. Sink tap revolved a hot water pressure very low. Night lights to outside in bedroom meant you awoke early. Could not fill the kettle from the tap as no room, needed to use a glass to fill the kettle.

DO NOT STAY HERE. They are operating illegally as there are not compliant with fire safety standards and Booking.com have not replied to us either. There's also a list of things that are awful:, see photos if I can add them all to this review. NO HOT WATER THE FIRST DAY. Broken curtain rods, Broken shower head that was so mouldy we wiped it with dettol wipes but it made little difference. Dodgy everything. Just disgusting and the owners ghosted us when we attempted to contact them about the numerous issues.

The location was very good, removed from the busyness of city center areas, a minute walk away from the bus stop for accessing all other areas. As other reviews have mentioned, the shower pressure was really good.

Had issues with the hot water in the bathroom. It was inconsistent, as the hot water turns cold after one shower and the next person is stuck with cold water, I advise occupants to shower in one go or without turning off the taps. The hot water also takes a while before running. Also, the room is quite large and only one small heater that doesn't do much is provided.

The property was not secure at all the lock was fixed in with very loose poly filler and wouldn't have taken much to be pushed open. I didn't feel safe. The sofa in the living room was very badly stained and the capet on the stairs was so dirty my white socks turned black almost immediately. The bed had hairs inside when we pulled back the cover and there were dots of blood on the bed and a couple of bugs crawling around. The parking was described at 2 spaces however you could not part 2 cars in the space but once driven down the drive it was almost impossible to get out again. All in all this was a terrible property and was very expensive for what it was. The toilet seat was loose, the tap and mirror were loose and the bathroom was mouldy.

Spacious bedroom and large kitchen. The kitchen was well equiped with a stove, microwave oven, fridge and washing machine. Property is in a nice quiet area. There is a bus stop a few metres from the property with easy access into the city centre. There are some small grocery shops as well as 2 restaurants within walking distance.

We only received the check in instructions around midday on the day of check in. As we were travelling that day and had no access to wifi, it would have been less stressful if we had this info in advance.

Unfortunately cannot comment on the accommodation as our booking was cancelled by the property 2 hours before we were due to check-in with no explanation.

There was no breakfast included. Also I couldn’t get on WiFi or make a local call which was a big and costly problem . I obviously didn’t like that.

Posizionata 30 minuti fuori dal centro città,collegata dalla linea 44 che passa frequentemente. La struttura è abbastanza accessibile.molto pulita.

La camera (numero 4)era grande ma da ristrutturare. Il materasso aveva le molle rotte quindi abbastanza scomodo.le finestre molto vecchie. Non vale il prezzo pagato. Forse dovrebbero descriverle meglio. I faretti della stanza non funzionavano.

Everything was old. And loose. Parking was really bad. Bed was very uncomfortable.

There was visible damp in the room, which caused us to experience coughing and made the room uncomfortable to stay in. * There was a very unpleasant smell throughout the flat. * The accommodation was extremely unhygienic and poorly maintained * All doors/ knobs were either broken or were in a poor maintained condition, creaking sounds and would not shut * The bathroom sink faucet was ill fitted/ moving and the towels were stinky * The skylight in the bedroom was particularly a nuisance as it was raining throughout and the sound made it difficult to sleep after a long travel * The heating was not working in the living room which made the accommodation particularly uncomfortable. * The mattress was in very poor condition and had an unpleasant smell, with the springs causing considerable discomfort and back pain during the night. * The accommodation we received did not appear to match the photographs and description shown at the time of booking. * Most importantly, we specifically booked this accommodation because it was advertised as having a kitchen, but there was no kitchen available to us.

Suitable for a short stay. I parked on the street because the designated parking spot is really more suited for a smaller vehicle. The location is ok, just a 30-minute bus ride to downtown, with a bus stop right outside the door. Especially during the Fringe Festival.

It’s difficult for self-caterers since there’s no way to store or heat food. At least there was a kettle. However, the value for money is very lacking.

The sofa bed and sofa was a little dirty. We didn't get the entry code automatically on the day and we had to contact the owner for the code. It was a frustrating system and poorly executed, the comms could have been a lot better

Very easy check in process with door codes emailed before arrival. The room was very clean, as was the bathroom and kitchen. Good WiFi. Bedding was clean and fresh, towels changed daily, and tea and coffee topped up.

Pillows far too soft, curtains not wide enough for windows so let in light, kitchen socket loose, bathroom towel warmer loose and leaking. The main room did not have enough sockets at all. Couldn't dry my hair in front of the mirror as socket too far away.

Easy access to our apartment. It was compact and just what we needed for our stay.

Emailed codes for doors before check in time. Extra pillows and bedding was good.

Wifi was intermittent. Stairs and no lift. No oven or freezer in kitchen. Light switch needs repairs. 2 spaces parking at rear very difficult to turn car so had to park on main road on opposite side.

Die Gegend und in das Haus kann man sich ruhig für ein paar Nächte ein q uartieren. Heizung sehr angenehm und Küche - ist voll ausgestattet mit sämtlichen Geräten.

Das Haus ist zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber es ist alles so in Ordnung.

Vielen Dank, dass wir Ihre Unterkunft für unseren Edinburghurlaub nutzen durften. Wir waren meist den ganzen Tag unterwegs und haben in der Unterkunft sehr gut und ruhig geschlafen, sogar bei angekippten Fenster war es leise. Wir hatten unsere Unterkunft nach hinten raus. Die Bushaltestelle, in der Nähe des Hauses, haben wir gerne genutzt, um problemlos in die City von Edinburgh zu fahren. Unser Auto haben wir auf der Lanark Road, auf der Straßenseite gegenüber, abgestellt. Es waren genügend freie (und damit kostenlose) Parkplätze vorhanden. Unser Gepäck haben wir über den Zuweg zum Haus hochgeschoben bzw. -getragen. Die Unterkunft entsprach den eingestellten Fotos.

L’appartamento si trova in una posizione comoda, nella prima periferia di Edimburgo, ben collegata al centro città tramite gli autobus, che passano nelle vicinanze. La zona è tranquilla e la posizione è stata sicuramente uno degli aspetti positivi del soggiorno

Purtroppo l’appartamento avrebbe bisogno di maggiore attenzione alla pulizia e alla manutenzione. I vetri delle finestre sono praticamente impossibili da oscurare e le tende presentano dei buchi. Abbiamo trovato polvere in varie zone della struttura, cosa che ha reso il soggiorno meno confortevole

There was a strong smell of gas in the kitchen and the carbon monoxide alarm was supposed to be replaced May 2020. The door from the sleeping/living room area into the kitchen wouldn't close properly, so it was very hard to relax. I suggest the owners get it seen to immediately, before their next guests arrival

De locatie

Het was ranzig, de bank zat onder de vlekken, het gordijn was vies en gescheurd, de entree was vies met rommel. Wc borstel was heel vies, de vloer plakte. De matras van het bed was doorgezakt en de slaapbank had ook zijn beste tijd gehad. Bovendien paste de wc-bril niet op de wc.

Zwar sehr weit außerhalb der Stadt, aber direkte Verbindung in die Stadt, ca 44Minuten zum Bhf.

Für unser Zimmer: Geringe Ausstattung der FeWo, Spülhandtuch? LAPPEN? Keine Steckdose für Föhn im Badezimmer. Keine Ablage und Haken im Bad Kein Nachttisch auf zweiter Bettseite. Zu wenige Steckdosen im Raum sowie Haken zum Aufhängen von Handtüchern und Kleidung. Fenster waren nur durch telefonische Nachfrage zu öffnen

Spacious bedroom, bathroom and kitchen area. Bus stops outside the property which can get you directly into the city.

They don't seem to upkeep the gardens, broken glass in the entrance door and communal hallway a bit cluttered, so initial impressions are a bit worrying, but once entering our room, we were pleasantly surprised.

First night we arrived and the apartment was absolutely freezing contacted the manager and he spoke me through the thermostat which didn’t help apartment was still freezing. We left the apartment thinking it needed time to heat up but unfortunately we came back and the apartment was still cold we ended up sleeping with jumpers on. Ring following day to complain and an electric heater was put in the room

The bed was very comfortable and the shower was good.Parking was good on top of drive and a excellent pub just down the road food excellent and the staff very friendly.

The location was just a little bit out of the way for us going into princes street took a while.

The initial cost. Cleaning lady was nice.

Given the initial cost and the photos you wouldn’t expect to find mold growing under peeling paint and plaster. The faucet heads were loose as well as the shelf underneath the mirror. Furthermore the shower leaked and the soap holder was loose. The place looked like the landlord did all the work without doing any prep or researched before doing it.

Clean apartment, good connectivity to airport and city centre

The accommodation was clean, comfortable & cosy. Great sized space for the children and myself. Can not fault anything about the accommodation at all. The kids also enjoyed the outdoor space too. Really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back to stay again.

The one and only thing was the distance from the city centre. If I was travelling myself it wouldn't be an issue but with young tired children the bus was a bit long for them at the end of a busy tiring day. It wasn't terribly long but for the youngest it was a lil far.

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. We especially appreciated that the room was cleaned every day. The housekeeping staff was very kind, friendly, and responsive. Whenever we needed anything, our requests were handled quickly and with a smile. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant.

Everything was very good overall. The only small suggestion would be to add a full-length mirror or an additional mirror in the room, as it would make the stay even more comfortable.

Monolocale ampio, con una camera da letto e un salotto, con un divano. Parcheggio in strada gratuito. 20 minuti di macchina dal centro.

Piatti e bicchieri sono troppo pochi. Lo scarico della doccia tende a tapparsi, ma sono certa che il proprietario lo sistemerà.

Die Lage. wir sind mit dem Fahrrad angereist, und haben eine Bushaltestelle direkt vor der Haustüre gehabt um bequem ins Stadtzentrum zu kommen.

leider haben weitere Gäste nachts Lärm gemacht. Dafür kann die Unterkunft nichts. Das war Pech. Eventuell sollte zumindest eine schriftliche Hausordnung auf Ruhezeiten verweisen.

The location is in a very quiet area. It is quite far from the center, about 30 minutes by bus, but there is a bus stop 50 m from the property, and the buses run every 10 minutes and follow the schedule. It is clean.

I don't know how the rest of the property is, but the apartment we stayed in doesn't look OK at all. It clearly needs renovations. In the living room, a piece of the ceiling and part of the walls are crumbling from infiltration. The bathroom is very small, and the sanitary ware needs replacing, especially the sink faucet. It is recommended for 4 people, but the sofa in the living room is old and needs replacing. The mattress was very bad and we slept badly.

There was a bus station close by to city centre.

No kitchen.

Bon emplacement. A moins d'une minute de la ligne 44 pour se rendre dans le centre ville d'Edimbourg. Spacieux.

Le.parking proposé est étroit, pas facile pour de grandes voitures. Aucune documentation pour nous orienter vers les choses à faire. On reçoit un code pour l'ouverture des portes. La literie est juste correcte. Le studio 6 n'a pas de cuisine, les rideaux sont à refaire. La lunette des toilettes à fixer ainsi que le robinet du petit lavabo. Les finitions sont à revoir. Le canapé trop juste pour 2 adolescents. J'ai fait dormi l'un des deux sur le canapé.

Clean and Bed comfy, location good, cost for what we got was ok

Very cold room, told there were 2 parking places, yes if it was 2 very small cars, also drive very narrow, steep and uneven, the room was tired, only 1 side of the toaster worked. Floor very noisy when walking around. Toilet seat loose and toilet roll holder missing off wall. Curtains too small for windows, did not close too.

The studio apartment was large. A lovely big comfy bed. Through to a lounge area and a separate large kitchen with table and chairs. A nice shower, with plenty of hot water. The location was good. A bus stop right next door to the property No44 takes you into Edinburgh town centre in 30mins, at £2.40 pp its a no brainer.

The lounge/bedroom is large, with high ceilings and could really do with a portable heater, just to keep the chill off, in the morning and evenings it did get a little cold at 12°C even in summer. If I stayed again, I would bring a heater with me. The lovely sash windows don't open, unfortunately, even in the bathroom.

Het interieur, barst in de ramen, gescheurde vitrage, niet goed werkende verlichting en beschadigde vloer in de badkamer (deed zeer aan je voeten). Ook wat het best verouderd.

Area was nice, close to amenities and quite private.

Parking was difficult unless parking on very busy main road. Main door didn't lock and apartment door was an interior door, not secure at all No toilet lid. No plug for sink No bathroom curtains or blinds. Second bed not big enough for an adult. Personal towel went missing on the last day, probably cleaner by accident as apartment was cleaned most days.

The owner should inspect flet and carry out with necessary repairs: tap doors toilet seat heating in bathroom mould in bathroom

There’s not much to like about this property. If you’re desperate or on a very tight budget I guess it would do.

We didn’t actually end up staying here. We barely spent 1 hour before deciding to leave. Sticky stains on the bedspread, cobwebs that could’ve easily been reached during cleaning, flickering lights, tv remote barely worked and I’m pretty sure the door didn’t lock properly. Seemed a waste of time to contact hosts as previous reviews state the poor communication. Kitchen and bathroom looked decent enough but we didn’t stay long enough to use any of it.

La casa è bella e l'appartamento è comodo, anche se andrebbe restaurato in alcune parti. E' situato nella periferia, molto tranquilla, di Edimburgo, ma ci sono i bus di fronte casa comodissimi per andare in centro. Lo consiglio

La cucina è poco fornita

La situación de donde se encuentra la casa esta muy bien. Hay Bus en la puerta. Muy cómodo. La casa es preciosa exactamente igual que la foto. La habitacion muy bien, espaciosa, y limpia, el colchón un tanto regular. Pero en general todo bien. Tiene una pequeña cocina que va super bien. Acogedora y calentita.

Posiblemente la cama. Pero lo demas ok.!!

The building itself is a nice, sadly not maintained and needs a lot of attention. The house keeping lady was very friendly and tried to help, but problems with heating and leaks were not in her control… but she did at least try. Owners turned off phones and didn’t answer calls after speaking with them on first day.

No heating. No hot water. Bathroom had a leak, so water all over the bathroom floor. Broken windows in the room. Shower gurgles up drainage and black gunge. Nasty smell of rotting meat (almost like lamb cooking) constantly in the room. I never ever complain and even in this instance i wouldn’t have been so annoyed if someone answered the phone! Wouod never recommend staying here!

Eigentlich hat eine alte Villa Charme. Aber die Ausstattung war minimal (nur ein Sektglas?) und die Technik funktionierte nur eingeschränkt. Flackerndes Licht, der Kühlschrank mit Wackelkontakt. Er hat erst nicht funktioniert. Der Betreibrr hat weder auf teleonische Kontaktversuche noch auf E-Mail reagiert. Da wir nur 2 Nächte dort waren war das aber kein echtes Problem.

The out of city centre location was good and really easy to get to using public transport. Layout of the property was good as well as the apartment no. 5 that we stayed in. Nearby grocery stores were convenient too

It was cool at night

It was stuffy and extremely hot in the day and I requested a third bed but there were no sheets or anything for the couch.

The floors were noisy to walk on and we were on the ground so the noise from above was horrendous!!

For us it had everything we needed and a super location. It was quiet, clean and the bed was comfortable.

Die Lage ist sehr gut. Man kann gut parken und die Bushaltestelle ist direkt vor der Tür.

Wir hatten einen Abend kein warmes Wasser. Die Couch im Wohnzimmer war recht dreckig. Da sitzt man nicht gerne.

El entorno es magnífico. Y muy bien comunicado con Edimburgo. La parada de autobús está muy cerca del alojamiento.

Das Haus war leider unsauber und ist extrem hellhörig , so das man jedes Gespräch im Haus gehört hat. Die Gardinen im Zimmer waren zerrissen. Das Fenster vom Schlafzimmer war gesprungen und es zog gewaltig, die Dusche war entweder sehr kalt oder sehr sehr heiß. Das Sofa war total durch gesessen und wenn wir morgens ins Badezimmer kamen, stand da das Wasser um das Waschbecken. Dadurch (glauben wir) Schäden am Badezimmer Boden. Wasserflächen an der Decke haben wir auch gehabt. Die Handtücher wurden zwar jeden gewechselt , aber haben stark nach Fett gerochen so das wir uns nach den Versuchen zu duschen nicht wirklich sauberer vor kamen. Aufhängungen und Spots aus der Decke hingen teilweise einfach hinab ... Leider hat die "Hausverwaltung" nicht auf Anrufe reagiert. Ich würde es nie wieder buchen und rate jedem davon ab dies zu tun. Wir haben uns so wenig wie möglich dort aufgehalten und wenn wir das Geld für ein Hotel gehabt hätten, wären wir in eins gegangen.

In dem Kingsize-Bett konnte man schlafen !

Das sehr alte Stadthaus ist ungepflegt und in keinem guten Zustand. Kontaktlos zugehbar. CODE-Türen. Das Apartment war zweckmäßig. Es gibt einen Kleiderschrank, dieser wird aber für die Bevorratung von Bettzeug genutzt und man kann keine Kleidung aufhängen und lebt aus dem Koffer. Der Unterkunft ist dreckig und die Küchenutensilien sind veraltet und abgeranzt. Die Gardinen sind löchrig und grau. Die Tapete bzw. Farbe blättert von den Wänden. Im Badezimmer minimale Ablagemöglichkeit für Utensilien. Es ist zu empfehlen Schuhe zu tragen. Bitte Ohr-Stöpsel benutzen, Schlafmaske empfehlenswert, da die Vorhänge bedingt zuziehbar sind und den Wohn-/Schlafraum nicht verdunkeln. Die Lärmstörungen der anderen Bewohner war heftig. Haben uns in keinsterweise wohlgefühlt.

Very empty, not great facilities. Very noisy and woken up every morning at 7am due to steps and moving furniture from residents in the flat above us.

Aunque no esté en el centro se encuentra a 1 min de la parada del bus 44 que conecta con el centro en 30min. El tamaño de la habitación y del wc era excelentes, la cama comodísima.

Las instalaciones del baño y la cocina necesitan una reforma y mejora (la taza del wc estaba rota y los grifos del lavabo muy sueltos, el horno bastante antiguo con suciedad de tiempo. En el baño no hay ningún enchufe que, por lo general, son insuficientes y en lugares poco prácticos. Todos los días han traído toallas pero no ha habido limpieza.

It was in a nice location to get to Edinburgh centre. It was spacious.

No tea towels. No cover on the ironing board so couldn’t use it. Someone came into the room without our knowledge to ‘tidy’. Only one plug.

État insalubre de la chambre 5 et vitre vendu dans la chambre 5

Kuchyňka a její vybavenost, možnost si přitopit topením jsem velmi uvítali. Velmi se nám líbila lokalita čtvrti a jednoduché spojení s letištěm. Dostupnost centra hromadnou městskou dopravou.

Větší hlučnost která byla slyšet, měli jsem pokoj v přízemí a nad námi bylo vždy slyšet dupání pokud se tam někdo pohyboval. Dále bylo vždy slyšet zavření venkovních dveří pokud někdo šel ven. Z chodby pronikalo světlo z pod dveří do pokoje. Pod gaučem byla velmi vysoká vrstva prachu a smetí. Ve sprše horší odtok vody, kdy se po delším sprchování začala voda ze sprchy vytékat do koupelny. Horší regulace teplé a studené kdy tekla teplá a pak najednou zase velmi studená a takto se to střídalo.

Nice old building in a wonderful and safe location. Bus stop with direct city connection only 30m away.

Interior needs renovation.

Good facilities, everything worked ok. Excellent location, easy to get to the centre by the number 44 bus which was also a pleasant journey. We would stay there again.
