Such an amazing experience. Can’t believe the views, absolutely beautiful.

The view from the bungalow is quite incredible! It's simple and clean. It is written that there is no A/C so I'd say people complaining about it are not fair It's not far from Haad Rin by foot and it's great because you don't have the music all evening long that people may get if they stay on the beach. I should mention that we had our motorbikes to get there, which was pretty convenient to get to the accommodation and then discover other places (the road is quite steep though, be very careful). I was scared it would be hot and full of mosquitoes but because it's high up, there is wind. And therefore no mosquitoes and it's not that hot inside. Nice staff as well ! If you're looking for something fancy, you'll be disappointed. But if you're looking for something affordable, simple and clean, not far from a lively beach, then it is the place to be !

L’attitude du proprio, répond à mes demandes mais au bout d’un moment on sent qu’il est saoulé, pas trop envie de converser ni de sourire, je pense qu’il est plus dans une démarche de business que d’accueil. Le matelas est peu confortable, ça fait comme un grill en fer..

Unreal view from the bungalow, as well as other locations near the reception. The large rock by the ocean was probably the best spot. The hammock was a nice addition too.

No AC, but plenty of fans. No hot water, but wasn’t too much of an issue as the weather was so hot. Large hills to walk up to get to and from the bungalows.

The location is quite good, just 15 mins walk from the Haad rin Pier. The view from the bungalow is stunning and it’s very quiet and you have your own privacy because there’s a few meters from one bungalow to the next one. The room is very basic, one large bed and private bathroom. There is no refrigerator and no A/C.

The property needs some renovation work, some bungalows are in bad conditions. The road to the property is steep and you have to walk down some uneven rocky stairs - not suitable for people with physical disabilities or with knee/ankle problems.

Las vistas desde el bungalow eran increíbles y los amaneceres fueron de los más bonitos que vi durante mi viaje. El propietario fue extremadamente amable y servicial en todo momento. También me ayudaron con la lavandería y la ropa volvió limpia y con muy buen olor. Me gustó mucho la tranquilidad del lugar, el entorno natural y la sensación de desconexión que ofrece.

No me importó que no hubiera aire acondicionado y terminé acostumbrándome a beber agua a temperatura ambiente, ya que tampoco hay nevera. Sin embargo, lo que sí me resultó muy difícil fue la presencia de insectos dentro de la habitación, especialmente en la cama. Estoy acostumbrada a la naturaleza y los lagartos no me molestan, pero no podía dormir tranquila sabiendo que caían bichos del techo o que podían acabar en la cama. De hecho, decidí marcharme una noche antes de lo previsto porque no conseguía descansar. También hay que tener en cuenta que el acceso al alojamiento requiere cierta forma física, ya que el camino tiene bastantes cuestas y escaleras, aunque es muy bonito y las vistas compensan el esfuerzo.

Ok, here’s an honest review. This place won’t be for everyone. You need to be reasonably fit and I’d definitely recommend travelling with a backpack rather than a suitcase as carrying luggage down the steep steps would be difficult. This is budget accommodation so don’t expect luxury. There’s no air conditioning or hot water, and because you’re on a tropical island you may occasionally get the odd insect in your room. That said, the scenery is absolutely stunning. I loved relaxing in the hammock and listening to the waves gently hitting the shore. It was incredibly peaceful. After reading some of the negative reviews, I decided to play it safe and only book one night. However if I’d had more time, I definitely would have extended my stay. I’d also say it’s useful to have a scooter as the walk back up from town is quite steep. But overall, if you’re reasonably fit and want somewhere that feels close to nature, I’d ignore the negative reviews and give this place a try.

Amazing ocean view with private bungalow

My bungalow was a bit too small. There's nothing nearby and hard area to walk. Alot of debris and broken stuff around. (bungalows/ buildings etc). Felt kind of abandoned. Minimal amenities.

Loooved staying here! Only 15 min walk down to Haad Rin beach and all the bars and restaurants area but up in a hill surrounded by nature. My bungalow was just perfect, beautiful clean room with a really nice private toilet/shower. Amazing balcony views. I have to say that I read a couple of bad reviews after I've booked it and I was quite scared of what I would find but I think some people are just too spoiled.. The place was lovely, I really enjoyed staying there for the 8 nights I booked and I would definitely stay there again :)

There's nothing I didn't like, i didn't rent a scooter and I still really enjoyed the walk to get there after spending the day down by Haad Rin area.

Great bungalow, with lots of space and balcony. There's a mosquito net on the windows which is useful. Free drinking water provided. Surrounded by nature, calm and silent (except the cicadas at dawn - they are very loud!, also you can hear the boats passing) There was a mango tree near the bungalows, always had mangos to pick up from the ground. They also provide many different services, we didn't use them.

Only cold water in the shower. The lights in the room are not so strong, it's quite dark inside. The stairs leading down to the accommodation aren't the best, and the lights at night don't help too much. It can be dangerous for some people. Without a motorbike it's a bit far from the main parts of Haad Rin, also you have to go up a steep uphill to arrive.

When we first arrived, our initial impression was a bit uncertain — we even briefly considered moving somewhere closer to Zen Beach. But very quickly, the place grew on us, and we ended up extending our stay by an extra day 🙂 This really is a little slice of paradise, especially because of its natural beauty. The atmosphere is peaceful, free-spirited, and quite romantic. Most of the guests around us were couples, relaxed and fully enjoying the surroundings, which created a very calm and open vibe. Rin Nai Beach is about an 8-minute walk away, and I’d definitely recommend visiting it. Right next to the property there isn’t a traditional sandy beach, but instead a stunning rocky coastline with large boulders — perfect for some quiet, private sunbathing. I even saw people snorkeling nearby. The hosts are very kind and welcoming. There’s a fun place called “Lighthouse” nearby if you’re in the mood for a night out, and other spots are easily reachable by taxi. The bungalows have a truly authentic charm — ideal if you love nature, a more laid-back lifestyle, or are traveling as a couple.

Good to know: The area is quite hilly — definitely a bit of a workout, but you get used to it (and your legs will thank you later :) ). Having a scooter would make getting around much easier, especially if you want to explore more of the island. We chose to walk everywhere, which limited how much we could see, but we still got to know the local area really well. Shops are about a 15–20 minute walk away, so it’s good to plan ahead a bit. A few small things to keep in mind: water refills sometimes needed a quick reminder, there’s no fridge, and the air conditioning isn’t very strong — but the cool showers definitely help refresh you. The mattresses are a bit on the older side, though still manageable. At night, you can hear the ocean clearly — for me, it was incredibly calming and added to the whole experience, even if it might take a little getting used to for lighter sleepers.

The lady who runs this place is absolutely lovely. The view is amazing, lovely, peaceful spot out of the bustle of Hadrin, which is what I wanted. 10-15 min walk to a nice sandy beach. There is a big hill to carry luggage- as described in the info. I didn't mind keeping fit!

Nowhere to hang clothes. It is a basic hut with no hot water but didn't mind. It can get quite windy on the balcony for sitting out working- things blow away; the headland here is quite weather exposed.

Wer Ruhe haben will und den Sonnenaufgang sehen will, kommt hier definitiv auf seine kosten. Man hört nichts, außer das Meer und die, im umliegenden Wald, lebenden Tiere. Riesen Balkon mit Blick aufs Meer inklusive Hängematte.

Leider kein Warmwasser und etwas unsauberes Badezimmer.

Die Lage war super für uns. Wir wollten an die Vollmondparty aber flexibel sein und selbständig nach Hause können. In 10 Minuten ist man in der Unterkunft und trotzdem ist man nicht mitten im Zentrum. Die Häuschen sind sehr härzig aber schon in die Jahre gekommen. Für ein paar Tage sicher toll:)

Die Vorhänge müssten ersetzt werden und wenn man nicht gut zu Fuss unterwegs ist, ist die Unterkunft nicht geeignet - sehr viele Treppenstufen um die Unterkunft zu erreichen.

Lage direkt am Meer und in der Natur, Sonnenaufgang und Untergang auf dieser Seite der Insel wunderschön. Ruhe, etwas entfernt vom lauten Strandabschnitt Eigene Holzhütte mit Terrasse Badezimmer in meiner Kategorie neu gemacht Inhaber war nett und hat als Upgrade bei Verfügbarkeit Meerblick angeboten. Der Inhaber war freundlich und zuvorkommend und auf Nachfrage bekommt man auch heißes Wasser oder noch eine Flasche Wasser wenn man mehrere Tage bleibt. Sie stellen Schnorchel-Equipment zur Verfügung. Das WLAN hat direkt in meiner Hütte sehr gut funktioniert. Mir hat die Atmosphäre in den Hütten unter den Bäumen sehr gut gefallen. Wie ein modernes Baumhaus.

Kein Wasserkocher, was in Thailand in jeder Unterkunft eigentlich Standard ist. Die Möglichkeit selbst Tee oder Kaffee zu kochen. Das Bett, die Matratze war wirklich sehr hart. Leider sind einige Hütten nicht mehr in Betrieb und manche der Hütten müssten saniert werden und auf Sicherheit überprüft werden. Auf den Terrassen fehlen teilweise Holzbretter oder sind lose. Eine Reinigung findet auch bei mehrtägigem Aufenthalt nicht statt. Es werden nur zu Beginn zwei Wasserflaschen zur Verfügung gestellt, nicht täglich wie man es von anderen Unterkünften in Thailand kennt.

La vision des chalets délaissés

The location has so much potential and is overlooking a beautiful, secluded side of the island, but unfortunately the small hut rooms are very far past their prime,& the jungle has taken them(and the entire property) back. The rooms are infested with spiders, wasps, and lizards.

The small huts are built from single layer wood boards, and tin sheet metal roof - which wouldn’t be a problem if there was any type of sealant/barrier to prevent the infestation of spiders, wasps nests, and lizards from consistently living in & being totally engrained into the bedposts, walls, all corners of the room. You would certainly be better off setting up a tent in the same jungle the huts are located and would have less infestation because the aged huts are already inhabited/infested by only spiders, insects, and lizards year round - while a tent would be starting cleaning/uninhabited from the time you set it up until whenever nature entered the tent. These bungalows are infested year round and then the day before you show up or the morning you arrive, someone sweeps the walls and furniture with a broom to move the bugs, spiders, and lizards which only barely lasts momentarily until they swarm everything again(they will swarm you while you’re in the room or if you use the bed, you will have to make sure to open all your luggage and clothing very carefully to shake out the spiders because the start infesting your luggage the moment you set your stuff down even if you try to hang stuff from the door knob or a nail on the wall, you WILL have spiders in your luggage & packed clothing.

Pas d airco pas d internet pas de tv pas de piscine mâle situé j ai mi plus d une 1h à trouver l établissement 10min pour arriver à notre bungalow. C étai tellement affreux qu on n avons pas dormis sur place on a du louer un autre logement car c étai impossible de rester là j ai demander un remboursement il va dit que c étai pas possible. Je me demandais pour quoi nous étions les seul à être la mais j ai compris rapidement le pour quoi du comment. J apprécierai un geste de votre par un chèque cadeaux ou un remboursement.

It’s close to the restaurants and bars around the full moon beach(10 minutes walking distance), but still very peaceful and quiet. You’ll have a wonderful view. Leela beach is also very close and super nice. And the price is absolutely fair (just expect a simple and clean accommodation).

Häusschen sind super herzig. Wirklich tolle Aussicht. Schön abgelegen, trotzdem hört man die Musik vom Strand.

Just one of the best views from your balcony on Phangan, it's a magical spot! The owner and his family are very kind and friendly. Thank you all for keeping these unique houses clean and safe. Love you and hope to see you soon <3

Habia telarañas, bichos en la cama y lavabo, hay gallos sueltos y a las 6 de la mañana empiezan a cantar durante varias horas lo que hace imposible dormir.

Sin mantenimiento, El acceso tiene unas escaleras que por la noche son peligrosas. Todo el complejo necesita mantenimiento y reparaciones. Mucho ruido de la zona de fiesta todas las noches. Necesitas transporte para llegar, hay 30min andando pero en cuesta.

The location is incredible, a little bit far away from the main “attractions”, around 20 min walking. There are many hills if you don’t have the bike.

Die Aussicht war der Hammer! Ich habe noch nie so wunderschöne Sonnenaufgänge gesehen. Tagsüber wirklich schöne Aussicht. Zu Fuß kann man easy auf die Fullmoonparty. Shops und Restaurants in ca. 15min Fußmarsch erreichbar. Es war sehr sauber.

Die Matratze in unserem Bungalow war ziemlich drahtig :) Wenn du ein Partylöwe bist, ist die Unterkunfts perfekt. Für uns persönlich war es nachts zu laut, da der Schall vom Strand direkt an der Bucht abprallte.

Zelo prijazno osebje. Dali so nama drugacno namestitev, kot sva ajo rezervirala, a se je lastnica azmenila z bookingom, da aso nama skrajsali namestitev in vrnili denar. V restavraciji imajo zelo dober shake (bliss) - nikoli se nisem pila boljsega.

Naredila seme rezervacijo za drugo namestitev z zasebnim bazenom. Vprasali so, ce je vredu, da zamenjajo namestitev in da bova sla v boljso. Namestitev je bila brez zasebnega bazena, zelo neprivatno. Zunanja kuhinja je razpadala. Pri tusu so nekatere polomljene bambusove veje, tako da se vidi ven. Namestitev je bila lepa, vendar niti priblizno taka, kakrsno sva arezervirala, vendar so nama prijazno pomagali, da sva lahko skrajsala to namestitev na samo dva dni in sva dobila vrnjen denar.

Тишина , далеко от инфраструктуры , никто не мешает пребывать в интимной обстановке, все в зелени , хорошее место почистить голову и привести мысли в порядок.

Без транспорта очень тяжело подниматься , далеко от инфраструктуры , много подъемов и ступенек , нужна хорошая физическая форма. До пляжа далеко ,есть море возле, но все в камнях и скалах. Нет кондиционера , только вентилятор .

Good location

Our room was very dirty, i had a stained sheet and my brother had a condom wrapper under his bed. There were also lots of ants in the property. My brother had various animal droppings in his room. Unfortunately my brother and I lost our keys and the manager demanded 800 baht to replace the keys. When we questioned the price since it was very expensive he became aggressive and unprofessional. He escalated the situation by saying he would call the police. He dropped the price down to 500 baht which suggests he wanted to exhort as much money as he could from us. Generally the homestay had a shabby appearance and requires some work to maintain it.

Tolle Lage, tolles Grundstück und super freundliches Personal. Der Blick ist einmalig!

Das Bad könnte ein bisschen sauberer sein, aber es war trotzdem total akzeptabel!
