Puzzlestay House

Paul und seine Frau waren sehr freundluch und unterstützend. Es war sehr ruhig und ich fühlte mich im richtigen, alltäglichen Seoul. Ich konnte den Bukhansan besteigen und erhielt von Paul Tipps zur Route. Es war auch wirkluch erleichternd an der Busstation abgeholt zu werden. Der Bus vom Flughafen fährt ganz in die Nähe.

Áreas limpias, calidad precio con el sitio, muy tranquilo, alejado del centro de la ciudad, no se escuchaba el ruido externo, espacio perfecto para dos personas, no hay tele en el cuarto, espacio para maletas y varios espejos. La atención de Paul es execelente, pedimos desayuno y estuvo muy rico.

オーナーのご夫婦がとても優しいです。部屋も隅から隅まで掃除が行き届いていました！空港バス(6102)のバス停にピックアップに来ていただき、周辺の美味しいお店や駅までの道のりを丁寧に教えてくださりました！トイレが詰まってしまったのですが、嫌な顔一つせず直していただきました。ソウルの中心地や観光地からは少し離れていますが、地下鉄やバスも十分にあり、不便ではありませんでした！コンセントも韓国のタイプだけでなく、日本と同じコンセントも準備されています！また宿泊すると思いますし、かなりおすすめです！

Było idealnie, śliczny pokój z widokiem na ogród, bardzo czysto, do naszej dyspozycji była w pełni wyposażona kuchnia. W bardzo cichym miejscu gdzie można było odpoczac po całym dniu zwiedzania. Bardzo dobry dojazd do centrum. I cudowny gospodarz, który o nas dbal. Dziękujemy za cały pobyt ❤️

Burası bir otel değil aslında, bir ev. Size evinizdeymiş gibi hissettiriyor zaten. Mutfağıyla, banyosu-lavabosuyla, yataklar, yastık. Dolayısıyla da konaklama konforu çok iyi. Geniş yatak ve geniş eşya dolapları valizleri koyup açabileceğiniz yer. Metroya 7-8dakika yürüme mesafesinde. Ev sahipleri ise zaten gerçekten çok iyi ve nezaketli insanlar. Çok yardımseverler. Ben çok ama çok teşekkür ederim her şey için. Fotoğraf çekmeyi unuttuğuma üzüldüğüm bir yerdi. Uzun konaklamalar için ideal, aileler içinde.

The host was very responsive, and gave us a ride back and forth the bus station. Facilities were big, comfortable, clean and convenient. The neighborhood, even when not too close to downtown, was good, with restaurants and stores, and even a street market. The common are was also useful and convenient.

I liked everything. I would suggest adding a simple coffee machine (like a K-cup or similar), but even this is not really needed because the host was nice enough to serve us fresh coffee few days.

Am avut o experiență foarte plăcută la această cazare. Locația este excelentă, foarte aproape de metrou și de stația de autobuz, ceea ce a făcut deplasarea foarte ușoară. Zona este liniștită și perfectă pentru odihnă. Proprietarul a fost extrem de amabil, ne-a oferit informații utile despre împrejurimi și chiar ne-a însoțit la plecare până la autobuzul spre aeroport. Micul dejun a fost delicios, proaspăt și variat. Recomand cu încredere această cazare și cu siguranță am reveni!

朝食は値段に対し美味しく、とても満足できました。位置はソウル中心部からはやや離れていますが、近くにウイシンソル線の駅があり、バス停も近いため、ソウル中心部へのアクセスには全く問題ありませんでした。オーナーご夫妻がとても親切で、宿まで迎えに来てくださっただけでなく、チェックアウト後には空港リムジンバスの乗り場まで車で送ってくださいました。おかげでとても快適に移動することができました。

特に気になった点や不満に感じた点はありませんでした。本当に宿泊施設の関係者やスタッフではありません（笑）。正直な感想です。

Je suis revenue à Puzzlestayhouse car Paul et son épouse sont tres accueillants et attentionnés. L'endroit est tres calme et résidentiel, authentique. Le petit déjeuner est très bon et équilibré. Le métro permet de se rendre rapidement à Bukhangsan ou au centre de Séoul.

Off the beaten track neighborhood, with a scenic view on the mountain, beautiful stream near by, great local market and food options.

My family loved this house and the neighborhood so much. We stayed in 4 different locations in Seoul, and we all agree that this house was our favorite. The neighborhood is very quiet; if you want to experience how the locals live, this is the place to go. It was a nice break from all the bustling touristy areas. And yet, it was not too far from the main hub. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. The beds are super comfortable. We really enjoyed walking around the neighborhood, exploring different stores and restaurants.

Everything was wonderful! A huge thank you to Paul and his wife for their incredible hospitality. We chose the breakfast option for an additional fee, and we were absolutely delighted. Every breakfast was prepared with so much care and attention — you could truly feel the warmth behind it. I’ll attach some photos because the experience was simply amazing. The location is excellent: only a 5–7 minute walk to the metro station, and there is also a convenient bus that takes you directly to the palace area. We stayed in the room with an additional separate room, which was perfect for us. The accommodation had everything we needed to feel comfortable and at home throughout our stay. We also enjoyed our breakfast in the garden every morning. The view of the charming garden was absolutely lovely, and it is something we will always remember with warmth. We will definitely return to Korea in the future, and when we do, we will absolutely stay at Puzzle House again. Thank you for the warmth, comfort, and wonderful hospitality. ❤️

Es was rundherum ein wundervoller Aufenthalt. Das Gastgeber-Paar ist extrem nett und hat uns mit ihrer freundlichen Art wirklich toll willkommen geheißen. Wir wollten gar nicht mehr gehen! Dass die Unterkunft etwas außerhalb liegt, merkt man kaum, da sie sehr gut angebunden ist. Mit U-Bahn oder Bus kommt man überall sehr gut hin. Auch das Viertel selbst ist nett, wenn man z.B. fernab vom Trubel essen gehen möchte. Als Ausgangspunkt für den Bukhansan Nationalpark ebenfalls super. Die U-Bahn fährt direkt zum Startpunkt der Wanderung auf den höchsten Gipfel. Vielen Dank, wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Es war alles toll! Nur zwei Hinweise für andere Gäste: 1. Das Badezimmer des „Pink Room“ ist nur mit einem Rollo/Vorhang vom Gemeinschaftsbereich abgetrennt. Zu Toilette und Dusche gibt es eine abschließbare Tür. Uns hat das nicht gestört, für manche mag das aber ein wichtiger Hinweis sein. 2. Wer Frühstück möchte, sollte vorab Bescheid sagen. Es kann für einen sehr angemessenen Preis dazugebucht werden.

Belle maison dans quartier résidentiel calme. Chambres spacieuses (en fait une chambre pour deux et une autre pour une personne ),cuisine commune bien agencée,très lumineux avec vue sur le jardin. Propriétaire charmant qui donne tous les renseignements nécessaires.

Prenez un masque pour dormir avec restons très sympa au bord de la rivière.

口コミ通り素敵なオーナーご夫妻のお陰で、とにかく最高な５日間を過ごさせていただきました。 初日、K-rideで呼んだタクシーにお願いしたら、宿まで辿り着けず、夜中に坂の上で降ろされて迷ってしまいましたが、booling.comのメッセージで連絡したら、オーナーがすぐに見つけてくださり、助かりました。友人3人でファミリールームを使わせて頂きましたが、とても清潔で、特にベッドの寝心地が最高です。旅行に来てこんなに熟睡したことはないくらいゆっくり休ませて頂きました。

なし シャワーを浴びると、少々トイレの方まで濡れてしまいますが、翌朝には乾きます。

Une maison belle et confortable ainsi qu'un très bon accueil

L'espace douche et toilettes est un peu exigu et l'on sait pas où accrocher serviettes et vêtements.

Very clean, quite location. Has all you need including washing machine. 10 mins walking distance to the subway station. Host is very friendly. He offered to pick us up from the station.There are not many restaurants for vegetarians.

It is on a steep slope. People who are not used to walking can take a taxi. Would be nice to have some tea bags and coffee for guests.

The owners were very kind and helpful, picking me up and taking me back to the airport bus stop when needed, providing necessary information on how to use the metro and get around, places to eat and taking care of my comfort. The room was nice, the bed was very comfortable and the coffee to my liking. I enjoyed the Korean hospitality and recommend this as an authentic experience for everyone. Thank you so much!

From the very first moment, we loved our stay at Puzzlehouse. We stayed for one week and in the end did not want to leave. The cosiness & cleanliness of the Place, wonderful amenities (fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, drinking water) and breakfast as well as the great host made us feel at home. The Location is within walking distance to public transportation and we liked that it was set a little more in a quiet and traditional neighbourhood, right in between Seoul City and Bukhasan Nationalpark.

It was absolutely Great! But just a little idea: Since it is very difficult to communicate in English in Korea, it would be a great help if the accommodation could offer a little guideline on how to use the subway starting from this area, because it is a little off the beaten track (how to to get tickets or the tmoney card…)

No se puede cocinar en el lugar. Me congelaba cada vez que iba al baño porque estaba afuera de la habitación.

Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich, die Zimmer waren sauber. Eine gemütlche Küche stand zur Verfügung. Die U-Bahn-Station war in 5 Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar. Diese Unterkunft ist sehr zu empfehlen.

最近太忙了，一直想着给老板好评。一切都很好，对顾客感同身受，充满人情味。一定要在他们家吃早餐非常有性价比。床垫也很舒服，想问老板在哪里买的床垫。老板人非常好，回国一个多月了，为了让我们能够赶上公交车，我至今都记者他帮我提着箱子奔跑的样子。最后祝生意兴隆，身体健康。

如果非要说个不足的话可以增加个导览提示，酒店混在普通住房里不太好发现

Wir, eine dreiköpfige Familie, haben hier drei Tage verbracht und es war sehr angenehm und komfortabel. Das Zimmer war viel geräumiger als ein Hotelzimmer, und das Frühstück war köstlich, mit täglich wechselndem Menü. In Jeongneung fließt ein wunderschöner Bach, und wenn man ihm folgt, erreicht man den Berg. Ich habe auf dem Markt von Jeongneung Gamjatang (scharfes Fleischsuppe mit Knochen) gegessen, und es war köstlich.

静かな住宅街の中で、ゆっくり過ごす事ができました。ポールさんご夫婦は、とても優しい方で、お部屋もとても綺麗に整えられています。朝食はぜひ食べてみて下さいね！

途中できつい坂道が一ヶ所ありましたが、迂回路を教えてもらえたので大丈夫でした。事前に送迎もお願いできますよ。

La casa è molto bella,accogliente,tranquilla e pulita. Il proprietario è una persona squisita e disponibile per tutto, è persino venuto a prenderci (e ci ha anche riportato) con la sua auto alla fermata del bus diretto 6102 dall'aeroporto. La  nostra camera familiare era grande e molto confortevole,cosi come il bagno con una grande doccia,wc e lavabo separati. Il materasso era incredibilmente comodo e la stanza molto silenziosa,abbiamo dormito benissimo. Dalla camera singola poi si poteva addirittura vedere il sole sorgere all'alba. Le colazioni erano per lo più salate,ma molto buone,con sapori vicini a quelli a cui siamo abituati in Italia. Molto bella anche la sala comune ed il giardino. È stato un soggiorno davvero meraviglioso.

Nulla,ma se si ha poco tempo è giusto considerare che la casa si trova a non meno di 40 minuti di bus o metro da qualsiasi attrazione di Seul. Noi siamo stati 4 notti e la posizione defilata non è stata assolutamente un problema.

Özellikle bize yardımcı olmak için istekli sahibi, konumu ve iyi ingilizce bilgisi bize çok güzel bir konaklama yaşattı. Son gün ayrılırken çok erken olmasına rağmen bizi uğurlayıp, kapıda bekledi; çok kibardı.

Прекрасные гостеприимные хозяева. Дом соответствует всем фото, следят за домом, за чистотой, за комфортом. Мы жили в двух комнатах, которая имела одну на двоих ванную комнату, комнаты были отделены коридором от общей столовой зоны (то есть как двухкомнатная квартира). Кровать одна была большая, одна поменьше. Хороший матрас, теплые одеяла, по 2 пары полотенец. Раковина отдельно от душевой с туалетом. Мы взяли дополнительно завтраки, и хозяйка любезно готовила нам потрясающий завтрак и вкусный кофе. Проблем ни с чем не было. На кухне есть холодильник, чайник, все столовые приборы, микроволновка, стиральная машина. Очень удобное расположение дома - 5-7 минут до станции метро, 2-3 мин до автобусной остановки, рядом есть маркет со стритфудом традиционной корейской еды, круглосуточные магазины CU, 15 мин от Olive young и Daiso. В общем, все рядом есть. Тихий спокойный безопасный район. До центра доезжали за 30 мин. Добираться было не проблематично. Хозяин все расскажет и подскажет. Очень рекомендую это место проживания.

We had a great time at Puzzle Stay. Really enjoyed the beautiful house, the comfortable bed and the great neighborhood. A small local market, many shops and nice restaurants and cafés in the area. Best of all was the host Paul who gave us lots of helpful information and even picked us up at the airport bus stop. Thank you Paul, we really hope we can stay here the next time we are in Seoul.

At first I was a little hesitant to book the place since some comments indicated that it was far from the city center. Honestly, I do not consider it far - traveling back and forth are doable and short from the center even if you are coming from Myeongdong. The place is in a neighbourhood where you can experience local living, also quiet and serene - a perfect break from the bustling city. The house is very nice - spotless clean! Paul and his wife were so nice and polite. He even insisted to drop us at the train station. The breakfasts were healthy, clean and very nice. Simple yet sumptuous - I recommend you avail this during your stay. Will definitely book the place again when I come back. Thank you, Puzzlestay!

This is not a hotel, but at Puzzlestay, you have more a hotel could offer. Paul, the host of this beautiful house, is very helpful and accommodating. One of our group caught a fever, we was rushing back and texted Paul if he has a thermometer. When we arrived, Paul was popping up at the door giving us the thermometer. That was a rainy night and we couldn't go out again. Paul made sure that our take-out was arranged so that we did not starve. There's a shared living room with a kitchen and a laundry machine. I was worried our clothes stayed wet after laundry (because it was very humid in Seoul that week) and texted Paul. He showed up at my door with his dehumidifier ! We are so thankful to Paul and his wife - we have such a great stay.

Nothing. The location is not at the center of Seoul but we like the neighborhood so much and we really get a feel of how local people are living. It's 30 minutes by bus to the city center Geongpokgung. Anywhere across the Hanggan river is a bit far but it's only 20 minutes if you just grab a taxi (at around 16,000 -20,000 won). There's a big convenience store in two minutes.

After almost 2 weeks in the heart of Seoul, we loved staying at this wonderful, homely and peaceful accommodation. Our host was incredibly welcoming and made us feel that we could relax just like we would in our own home. The location was incredible for seeing a more calm and nature focused side of Seoul.

Paul and his wife made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. Paul even dropped me off at the closest subway station and mailed me something I had left behind (my bad!). The room and bathroom were very clean. It is in a residential area and slightly quieter (a plus for me)- but walking distance to the subway. The breakfast was so good.

Nous avons passé un formidable séjour. Paul et sa femme qui sont d'une extrême gentillesse nous ont réservés un accueil chaleureux. L''emplacement est idéal, d'une propreté irréprochable, il n'y manque rien. Nous y retournerons sans hésiter 🫠

I have stayed in various accomodations during my solo travel over the years, but this has got to be one of the very best! Paul and Jinni were amazing hosts, the room I stayed in, bathroom and common areas were spotless and the breakfast was amazing (they went out of their way to prepare traditional Korean breakfast when I told them I loved Korean food!) The neighbourhood was pretty quiet but there was a cool traditional market area within walking distance which wasn't touristy at all, so it was great to get to see how locals went about with their day! There's also a convenience store nearby, as well as restaurants and cafes. There was also a river nearby that had a pathway where you could walk along, that was especially lovely in the evening :) Location-wise, it's a bit far away from the centre but not too far, and there are plenty of transportation options like the metro and bus! I personally don't like busy areas and prefer to experience the local life rather than jumping into areas teeming with swarms of tourists but since it was my first time in Korea I still wanted to see a bit of the touristy stuff, so this accomodation was actually perfect for me. It was rainy both on the day I arrived and left and Paul kindly picked me up/dropped me off at the stations. The hosts are truly a lovely couple who are quite down to earth and helpful, I felt right at home and really enjoyed my stay thanks to them!

It takes a bit of time to get to certain tourist locations, but if you plan your day properly it shouldn't be an issue! There's also a steep slope up to the accomodation, but it's not a huge problem (I just found it a bit challenging when going back after a long day out, but I think it was good extra excercise!)

Paul est absolument fabuleux et d’une gentillesse incroyable, il vient vous chercher dès votre arrivée au métro et il vous amène au bus qui va à l’aéroport (et nous partions pour 4h15 le matin !!!) La maison est impeccable et elle est à 5/7 m de la station de métro.

Paul was such a friendly host, we felt like home from the first moment. It was quite and really comfortable.

I really enjoyed my stay at Puzzlestay. As someone who only feels at home in her own home, I really felt at home and at ease here. I was always excited to go back to the lodging at the end of the day knowing that a comfy bed and hot shower was waiting for me. Paul and his wife were such lovely hosts. It was my friend’s birthday and they helped me surprise her! Really grateful for that. I was also able to get their free pick-up service, which was very convenient. The accommodation is just a 5-min drive away from a non-stop Incheon airport bus station.

The location is quite far from the city if you plan to do all the touristy stuff. But I liked the fact that I felt like a local exploring non-touristy places in the area.

We had a lovely stay at Puzzlestay House. Paul and Jinni were excellent hosts and had a beautiful, modern house in a quiet area of Seoul. Guests share a spotlessly clean kitchen/dining area with fridge, kettle, toaster and microwave. Bedrooms were large and well furnished. Puzzlestay House is only 10 mins walk from the metro and 30 mins from the central area by bus or metro. We had a delicious breakfast every day. Paul offered to pick us up from the metro and dropped us off when we left. Will definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful stay at Puzzelstay! The accommodation was very clean, comfortable, and fully equipped. From the moment we arrived, the hosts gave us a warm welcome and took the time to show us around the neighborhood — pointing out key places like restaurants, the train station, and nearby bus stops. Paul and his wife were extremely kind and attentive, always ready to help. We also had the chance to enjoy the homemade breakfast they prepared with care — it was absolutely delicious, and we highly recommend trying it! The shared living space was very well equipped with everything you might need: a fridge, toaster, kettle, microwave, filtered water machine, coffee maker, and even a washing machine, which I really appreciated during our stay. The location is also excellent: just 30 minutes by metro from the main historical sites, and there are direct buses at the end of the street that take you to Bukchon Village and Changgyeonggung Palace. The bed was very comfortable, and the area is calm and peaceful. We enjoyed our stay so much that we actually came back for a second time! A big thank you to Paul and his wife at Puzzelstay for the amazing hospitality! Highly recommend this place!

Perfect guesthouse where you really feel at home. Everything very clean, well decorated, super comfortable. The hosts are just great and so very kind, even picking you up at the bus stop from the airport . The location is a non-touristy, real local neighbourhood, bus and metro stations just 5/10mn away.

Super comfortable beds and paul is very accomodating! Love that theres a laundry machine so I was able to do my laundry as well. Very well connected area and there is a direct bus to myeongdong and bukchon. The house is on a hill and right down the hill is a CU mart. Very convenient if you need to buy/top up your tmoney. Everything is also very clean and comfortable.

It is pretty far and if you're going to do a lot of shopping in myeongdong/seongsu/hongdae be ready to bring your bags on public transport. Other than that it was great all around.

Paul and his wife are very friendly and helpful hosts. They picked us up from the bus/subway stop and dropped us off there. The Korean breakfast was delicious and lovingly prepared. The accommodation was very quiet, tastefully furnished, and of high quality. There was no TV in the room... but we didn't miss it. We found the location perfect: quiet, yet still 25-30 minutes from the city center. We would definitely book the Puzzle Stay House again.

Paul is very helpful and friendly. He helps us to carry all our luggages and ensure a taxi was called and communicate to our destination include luggage upload to ensure . On our first day of arrival at 10pm temperature at 5-8c he accompanied us to walk on street to introduce us the surrounding shops/ restaurant and transport venue. Touching service by Paul. The place is cosy , warm and clean . The shared kitchen is clean and fully equipped . At cold temperature u wake up morning warmth and soothing . A nice garden , market and good food introduce by Paul .

The hospitality and open space for a solo traveller. Great hosts and would book with them again whenever I do decide to come back to South Korea.

The stay was absolutely marvellous. The owner is extremely kind and helpful and the facilities are most comfortable and convenient. Everything was super clean. Staying at Puzzlestay house was the perfect start of our trip. Paul and his wife are super kind and are always willing to help. The house is located in a quiet neighbourhood. There is a bus and metro station around the corner which makes it very convenient to travel around the city. Everything was super clean and well provided. I traveled with family (2 adults, 1 child) and we had a space with two separate beds. It was very comfortable. Breakfast was tasty and hearty. Host (Paul) was very hospitable and kind enough to drove me by his car at metro station during rain. A special thanks to Paul for keeping our bags while we were traveling in Busan

There was no facility at the railway station or part of town to access my wow pass so I had to travel to Seoul station to get money

Cozy and clean place for a long stay. Nice attention to detail. Relaxed view of the garden. A nice and quiet area with villas, near the river and the national park. It is very convenient to get to the center by bus or metro. Extraordinary owner Paul, attentive, interesting, pleasant to communicate. Delicious breakfast every morning. Thank you very much. I will be happy to come back.

Everything was great.

The room we had was very comfortable, c l wan and quiet. Our host Paul was helpful and qlwats willing to assist us. He picked us up from the metro station and drove us to the airport bus stop when we left. Breakfast was very enjoyable. The neighbourhood is quiet and close to public transport. We highly recommend staying there.

The house and room was big and clean. And the host is exceptionally accommodating to our needs. Would come back again if I come to Seoul

A little bit distant from downtown but very close to bus and train station

Fantastic accommodation at Puzzlestay, very highly recommended. Very welcoming, comfy bed, and super quiet at night, with a spacious communal guest area also. Definitely worth the subway trip to be further out of the city centre, for a restful night's sleep and nearer the fresh mountain air. Spotlessly clean throughout.

Paul was an exceptional host and made our stay in Seoul very special and made us feel at home. The breakfast changed every day and delicious. The rooms and the common space provided were spacious, clean and well designed. We would always stay here when coming back to Seoul!!!

I absolutely love the homemade breakfast made by Paul and his wife every morning. Paul was kind enough to pick me up from the airport bus station late at night and offered me to leave the luggage after check out (I didn't notify him in advance). The neighborhood is fantastic the the Bukhansan is just 20 minutes walk away from the guesthouse.

Thankful for this wonderful experience! My wife and I spent 7 nights here, and thought that this stay was perfect -The accomodation had everything we needed, plus it was very comfortable and clean - The breakfasts were always different and delicious (we still miss eating those foods) - Paul and his wife were kind, helpful, and gave us several useful tips We wholeheartedly recommend it!

Everything was just great: Cleanliness, comfort of bed - top level, Host was extremaly friendly and helpful, location is very good - bus, subway is close, neiborhood is quite and very nice (local markets, enough of food options). Price/quality ratio was just superb.

It is a lovely guesthouse close to the Bukhansan Nationalpark. The owner was incredibly friendly and we got a delicious handmade breakfast. Everything is clean and comfortable, we had a wonderful stay - Thank you Paul :)

The only downside was the AC in our room, it was quite loud but we needed to keep it running because of the heatwave at the time of our stay.
