delicious breakfast with a million dollar view
no tv
Love the peaceful setting (while still being in town)…away from all the street noise and private beach. Great staff, food, price, and very accommodating! Patrick, his Mother Elizabeth, and staff made you feel like staying with family..absolutely will be coming back for a longer stay!
Nothing was wrong and everything was fantastic!
Peaceful hangout space at the beach front.
Water has been an issue. We didn’t have water for half of the day and the rest of the time the water was salty. The room was spacious but very depressing. The bathroom, toilet and shower area needs to be completely renewed.
The hotel was absolutely exceptional, featuring spotless, beautifully designed rooms and a perfect central location. The service went above and beyond my expectations, and the staff was always friendly and eager to help with a smile. Breakfast was incredibly rich and delicious, and i will definitely stay here again in the future!
Good destination
When we arrive we notice the room was different to what we had seen advertised and paid for. We brought this up with the staff the following day but were told that the room we paid for had been booked and the value of the room we had been replaced with was the same value. Eventually after some banter we had arranged a room change to our correct room but to my dissatisfaction it was yet again the wrong room. The beach wasn’t that great
Some of the cabins are good and others badly need renovations.
Room need to be renovated
I like the beautiful beach the great friendly staff and the dogs who were so chill and relaxed and the food was so good and fresh
There was no cold water and u need to ask for clean which is self evident but when u ask they are smiling and happily do their job
Location
Longganisa was undercooked and could be the cause of my LBM.
Location
The room was not tho one we booked for. we have arrived, and they gave us a completely different room without telling anything. Upon our request for clarification, they recognised the difference between what we paid for and what we had, but they weren't able to provide us with a satisfactory alternative. Since that the refund was not possible and upon only our request they accepted to give us a free meal. After the "gifted dinner" we found out that beverages were not included in what they considered the "free dinner". Moreover, our room was not cleaned properly. The toilet trash bin was still full from the previous guests. We paid the room with the breakfast included, but it was definitely the poorer breakfast we had in the Philippines. I asked for some fruit or just a simple tea but weren't available for us. They told us we should pay them separately. All that we received from breakfast were an omelette and pancake with nothing else.
Proximity
Location
We told them every single morning to make the eggs well done and they never obliged. We would understand if we were informed they’re saving LPG due to crisis but no explanation at all.
Love the location, love the restaurant love the beach love the stuff loved everything
The best location. Great staff. Lovely food at the restaurant. Great mix of vibe of people staying with the variety of rooms.
Super zentrale Lage schönes sauberes Zimmer mit Bad und Meerblick
Great staff
Nothing
Perfect location, right on the beach. Good resturant
Situación cerca de todo, con acceso a playa privado, preciosos jardines y amabilidad del personal.
El mantenimiento y limpieza de las habitaciones es deficiente.
Centrally located and on the beach
No sheets on the bed. The family beds didn’t have sheets or blankets. Towels but no washcloths or hand towels Lots of toilet paper and clean pillow cases and pillows. The wood termites were eating on the post by our bed and left wood dust on the bed. Do not get room 111 by the road. Friday night band and singing all night unless you like to party late. It was like my bed was in the bar
Ambience
I've tried a few hotels, but this is the place to be if you want to be close to everything and still be on the beach. They are good mattresses to sleep on. And they have sun loungers and others facing the beach.
There is no shampoo. Take the beach front rooms not facing the parking lot. WiFi doesn't work even though I've asked three times for the code and help to get it working. The window in the bathroom cannot be closed, so insects come in. There is no mirror in the bathroom. No cups and no kettle.
Access to the beach and the location.
Rooms extremely basic for cost they charge.
On the beach
Not clean rooms, not well lit walkways, no coffee / water in the room, showers poor, water supply smelled, rooms like caves no natural light
Very peaceful and quiet place which you can relax and take things slowly. Also near Tourism rd which has better accessibility and lots of establishments to go to!
I like the property since it shows a very laid back side of General Luna.
I really enjoyed the direct access to the beach, the presence of adorable dogs, the super friendly people, and the calm, quiet atmosphere.
Nothing, everything was great.
The Beachfront cottages was absolutely beautiful. Waking up to the ocean breeze and a clean beach was amazing. The staff were so friendly & the Resort has a staple YoHo Mangoe Rum that taste spectacular.
I like that there’s a restaurant within the property. The greatest thing about Patrick’s were the beautiful cabanas by the beach.
Additional lights going to the villa can add impact.
Nice garden, bar and huts well located next to the beach front. Very quiet at night. Friendly personal and bar keeper.
Huts are very basic. No free potable water included in the price. No shower gel available only simple soap. Again I would not say anything of the price would be lower. Paid more than 5000 Peso and expect at least some basic stuff.
Beach front at a reasonable price.. within the heart of Siargao.. very accessible to everything.. Food, grocery’s, souvenir shops and parties. very much recommended.
on the beach and walking distance to alot of places. food was good
wifi was weak in our room, probably good everywhere else
Patrick’s on the Beach was the ideal place for my stay in Siargao. Located right on the main road of General Luna, it’s super convenient to get to everything, while still feeling like a peaceful hideaway. The resort is beachfront, offering direct access to the ocean with no reef in front, which makes swimming easy and enjoyable—especially at night, thanks to the lights installed in the water. Relaxing Atmosphere and Great Facilities The rooms were clean and comfortable, with hot water in the shower and a spacious terrace that had an amazing ocean view. I also appreciated that the room had a good setup for working, which made a big difference during my stay. Everything felt well thought out for both comfort and convenience. Fantastic Food and Social Vibe The restaurant at Patrick’s serves really good food, and it quickly became one of my favorite places to eat on the island. The attached bar and restaurant area also had a great atmosphere for meeting new people and making friends. It felt like a little community of travelers and locals alike. Unbeatable Location for Surf and Chill One of the highlights for me was how close the resort is to “Cemetery” surf spot, which is perfect for beginners. Being able to walk there in just a few minutes was a huge plus. Despite being in such a central location, the whole place is very quiet and perfect for relaxing after a day out. Warm and Professional Service Last but not least, the staff made the experience even better. Everyone I interacted with was incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional. It felt like they genuinely cared that guests had a great time. Overall, Patrick’s on the Beach offered everything I was looking for—comfort, convenience, great food, and a warm vibe right by the ocean. I’ll definitely be coming back!
I asked a few times, they did not have coconuts
Convenient location
Too expensive for 5k something for one night, and there is nothing free any inside the room and was surprise me again when I order breakfast and charge me again for the table I used from beach front, even I’m one of their guest and paid my room.
Lovely place on the beach with restaurant. Loved it except for the hot water situation. Either jot or cold no mixture. But it is on the beach on a small island. Small sacrifice.
The bathroom smells, faucet pvc plastic, shower not working and beds undesirable.
Location was right on the beach and within walking distance of everything. Staff was very friendly and helpful. With the appropriate upgrades, this property could be in the top 5 on the strip
I don't enjoy giving negative reviews, but it's not worth the 125 CAD per night paid for the stay. We have been traveling throughout South EAST ASIA for the past two months, and this hotel was the most disappointing. Two small bars of soap were your only toiletries. There's no complimentary bottle water, no kettle, coffee/tea, etc, in the room we stayed in. There's a water dispenser in the lobby, but that requires compensation on an honor system. There mwas Foul smell in our room 111. This is just to name a few negatives.
Very clean, quiet, relaxing. Everything worked and no TV. This was a great experience. They did have wifi. But it was a great relaxing and recharging experience
Pros: Patrick's is right on the beach! They have cabanas for dining right on the beach. Pick a cabana, and they will serve your food to you there. Swimming on Patrick's beautiful sandy beach is amazing. (Best swimming is during high tide). Good WIFI. Restaurants, souvenir shops, and ATM are just a short walk. Beautiful lush grounds, and nice landscaping. Bungalows have ocean view from your front deck. Surfboard and instructor at Cloud Nine available for 600 Pesos ($12 USD) per hour. (It's a 10 minute tricycle ride to Cloud Nine). Be advised, the ocean bottom at Cloud Nine is rocky, not sand! Motor bikes available on site at Patrick's. They rent for 600 Pesos ($12 USD) per day. Island Tour or Land Tour available. Inquire at front desk about rentals and activities. Beach view Ping Pong table available at Patrick's restaurant. Friendly staff.
Cons: At Patrick's restaurant, I ordered an American Breakfast each day. It came with plain Texas toast. I had to ask for butter. No jam, jelly, honey, Nutella, peanut butter or anything that might add some flavor to the toast. So I just ate my plain Texas toast each day. Disappointing, and hard to believe a restaurant in a busy hotel doesn't have any of these items available! Dear Hotel Guest, You will have nothing on your toast at breakfast. Just eat it dry! There were several brown outs, and heavy downpours during our two days at Patrick's. Bring an umbrella! Beach Front Bungalows have no mini fridge. We enjoyed our stay at Patrick's, especially swimming at the beautiful beach!
Beachfront and quiet views thats very near all the bars and spots in General Luna. Has everything you need and the quiet mornings are great . Perfect for swimming safely no waves and clean sand. Also great activties and kayaks for rent are affordable Highly recommend!
Location is awesome, staff is super friendly and helpful.
We booked a family room and didn't realize until after there was no refrigerator in the room. BUT, overall a great experience and we will absolutely book with them again.
The Staff. The Beach view. The Lush environment. Activities offered on property

Patrick's on the Beach is a very cool place. I love the tropical vibes and the food.is so delicious special the mango curry chicken burrito with fresh vegetables on top. You really feel like you're part of a family because the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The location is close to bars, discos, grocery stores, the church, and the market. I love eating breakfast right in front of the famous Daku and Guyam Islands. The best part is that they offer various types of accommodations, from luxury to budget options. That's a big plus.
I've been there for 6 days and it was really relaxing and happy. Everything, since the availability of kayaks to all the staff to help me fully enjoying those days. They are very kind and professional. Simply great.

Was some amenties missing but told staff and the made it right. No pool, nice place to swim in ocean. Close to the Main Street for shopping and eating.
Location, customer service, amenities.

Thank you Elizabeth.
The resort is a beachfront property & located in General Luna. The food at the resort’s restaurant is great. All the staff are really nice & attend to our needs right away except for the A/C issue on our first night.
1. On our first night, the cottage air-conditioner didn’t work. I tried to call the reception at around 2 am., there was no answer. Because of the heat, the 4 of us were unable to sleep on the first night. But they fixed the A/C problem the next day. 2.There’s no swimming pool. I had the impression that it has a swimming pool ‘coz I saw it in one of the vlogs of someone about the resort. 3. There’s no ceiling fan as indicated on our booking but was given an electric fan right away when requested. 4. There’s no sofa bed inside the cottage as indicated in the booking but it’s ok we didn’t need it. They need to update their amenities online.
Location is the best! No more!
Loved the view from our cabin no 150. See photo No 1.
The steps down to the beach immediately in front of our cabin were blocked with garden waste and overgrown and could not be effectively used. See photos No 1 & 2. This impacted on my partners early morning beach walks. Other steps along the boundary to the beach were all accessible. Expected to receive bottled water on a daily basis but this did not occur.
The location and The beautiful path/garden leading to The Beach was amazing. Close to everything yet insulated from The noise of the road.
The bathroom and the doors need some maintenance. The lamellar windows had poor sound insulation
Dawn chorus was sweet sound of jackhammers and angle grinders..you get the full building site experience
Patrick's on the building site
Lovely location on the beach with beautiful gardens. Accommodation was a little rustic but clean and comfortable.
Each night the next door night club played super loud music to midnight, was painful! Shower water pressure pretty bad, mainly a dribble.
My friends and I all agree that Patrick’s Resort is a magical place. The traditional Kubo style accommodations made the experience all that more unique in comparison to the other resorts in General Luna. This hideaway is situated right in front of this amazing beach nestled among an array of Philippine “tuk tuk” and modern style boats anchored in the shallows. The real treasure of this gem of a resort is the resort’s staff and family who shared a hospitality so genuine and generous that left our hearts full. We highly recommend this resort to all travelers of all walks of life. Maraming Salamat to the Patrick’s Resort familia! Mahal Kita…, Jonathan, Mel, Sonny
It was a very nice stay and I hope to stay there again one day. Overall, the property is very beautiful. The air conditioning is a bit small for the room - takes a long time to cool it down. There is no electricity unless you are in the room - your room key activates electricity. So you cannot leave a phone charging or the air conditioning on. You start over with a hot room each time you return. There is also a nightclub next to the property so loud music continues until about midnight each night. None of these negative things bothered me, but I could see a lot of people being bothered which is why I mention - because other than that it was all quite excellent.
Hot water only worked one day. Had a rat living in the ceiling pooping on our stuff at night. Wild dogs howling and fighting on the property all hours... construction during the day on both sides of us. Didnt sleep much. They did have a nice view though.
Amazing place in GL! Will book again!
In the websitw it looks nice never expected that it just so ordinary the aircon was not cold at all we had to use an electric fan all the beddings n towel was jusy so normal blanket was.like for kids but thr tour guide we had on the first day Albert he was really nice and he showed us beautifl witgin the land tour thanks
Stayed thier 3 times . Never again. Totally property is run down. Disco next door every day boom boom. All late day till night. Things like towels so old. Its a great location just not worth it anymore so many nicer places. Its safe here. Hate to rate low. But you'll want the truth. Had to change room first day. No tvs . Many rooms no fans..why.second room ac worked but weak. Did not say anything as it needed to be changed window unit. If you are from usa. You need good aircond . It was not super hot. Just never cooled the room. Beach location is the only reason i chose again. Pay more get higher rated plenty of transport. I seen siargao inn on the beach. Looked clean and simple and nice
Beach front property and accessible to everything. They have generator too. Siargao constantly having brownouts.
The beddings are old and towels are old… doesn’t smell fresh
The service was good especially the land tour; our driver/guide was Albert & he was exceptional, respectful & funny. Also the servers at breakfast
The room needs major upgrades. There were a lot of us for a single bathroom. The beds & pillows were not comfortable & there were ants in the bathroom & the walls. When checking in one of the ladies said breakfast was complimentary but during check out we were charged, it was fine but the meal did not include water nor coffee. Its the 1st hotel/resort we have stayed that does not include water w/ the meal. We have travelled all over from the US, Europe & Asia, water is part of the meal. All the restaurants we ate in siargao had complimentary cold water but not this hotel.
Patrick on the Beach is a truely unique experience. The staff was very helpful, the beach front property was amazing with, and the cabanas where absolutely delightful. My only complaint would be the loud music at night ( our cabana was far enough away, but still annoying at tmes) and the daily power outages. Niether one of these issues was the fault of Patrick's or the staff. Overall I would rate this place a 95 out 100. My fiance and I will definitly be back.
Nice place to stay and relax , good and friendly employee and the owner are friendly
The owner takes a personal interest in her guests, staff very friendly. Beach is metres away, everything you want and need it here.
We (my travel partner and I) happily recommend this place - it is very good value for money as you get clean, spacious bungalows on a beautiful tropical beachfront property smack bang in the middle of General Luna. Great options for dining, drinks and shops right outside (don't miss Bebie's BBQ skewers on the other side of the road!). The staff here treat you so nice and they answer questions and accommodate requests with smiles and good vibes, we felt like saying goodbye to new friends when we left. Nice food can also be ordered from their own restaurant, we tried salads, smoothies and snacks. Highly recommend taking their island tour - full day trip with highlights from Siargao (cave, river, beaches, rock pool, viewpoint and waterfall) - this way you truly see the island of Siargao. If you have more time take another day trip to the lagoon and the smaller island on the west side. I was considering the smaller and cheaper island hopping tour but got the impression it is very touristy, and this island tour gave me what I - in my opinion - came to Siargao for, in addition to General Luna and the surf vibes there. Absolutely recommended choice for accommodation if you want a beautiful tropical place to stay with beach access and while having the town life right around you.
Nothing really - we got everything we needed and more. Didn't see other room types.
Very low value for money. Not clean. Extremely low standard
Price, cleanliness, comfort/standard of room
Patrick's on the Beach is right on the beach. They have kayaks to rent. The staff if friendly and helpful. The restaurant is good. The beach sitting areas are well equipped and comfortable. I love this place. It is not a luxury resort and that is why I like it. The cottagea are basic, but comfortable.
Only wifi near the reception office. However the data signal is good enough for streaming video. It helps that I have unlimited data on
Very cute and right in the beach, staff was amazing. Rooms are very minimalist with cozy beds. If you are ok with a minimalist style room and want to be next to a beautiful beach this place is great.
?
it’s close to everything nice place.
not at all I’m good so far.
The rooms was terrible for it's price. It's probably the worst room i have book since i have use this website the last 3 years.
perfect location with private beach
the food and rooms were not that great
This is an amazing property and will always be my 1st choice on any further trips to Siargao. The beach front cottages/bungalows are on the minimalist side, but they are very comfortable and you have a wonderful view of the garden and ocean. Prices are great and they have a tremendously welcoming staff that I enjoyed chatting with every day. Food on site is really good and there is a very good bbq place next door. Also a very popular bar is a short walk away.
Nice quiet ( except for the religious music that plays next door from 3am til 6am , have no idea why? ) oceanfront property , wider than most in GL .Good views of the islands and close to everything.
I enjoyed my stay at Patrick's until the last day. The room was nice. Family room with two bunk beds and two queen beds was perfect as we were two couples and three singles. Very close to the beach. Staff was very pleasant and accomodating. Helped us arrange island day tour and airport transfers. Location was good. Walking distance to main town and on the main strip. Quick tricycle ride to Cloud Nine surfing area. The only issue was on the last day I ordered a simple hamburger from the restaurant and had to wait one hour for it to be made. When it arrived the burger was extremely overcooked and was probably the worst (driest) burger I have ever had. Definitely not worth the wait or the 300 pesos they charged me for it. The restaurant was too busy and likely had no proper chef to ensure food was being prepared properly in a timely fashion. Other than that the resort was fine, but I wouldn't recommend the restaurant. Luckily thete are a number of places to eat within easy walking distanc
I love the room fronting the beach. Nice view of the ocean. The staffs are very nice and very good people.
Was an experience. Other places in area that we as a couple preferred.
The food was very delicious and the staff very friendly. When we had to leave before 6 am for a boat trip they extra made early breakfast for us and packed it for take away.
Awesome vibe and location! Restaurant had amazing food with friendly staff!! Will stay here again
The money i paid to stay for 2 nights resort is not worth, very expensive
Near the water . Paid extra 30.00 dollars a night for what I paid for the booking . The photo of the cottage deceived us for what I paid for. Will just spread the gospel about the Expedia and the resort they should communicate to each other about the charges before they use your company.
Location was amazing right on the beach. Dont expect luxury / but dont expect that in Siargao at all! This is a lovely little place right in the heart of the town / bathroom could have been better ie a flush on the toilet not water tub and bucket / but again this is normal here and there was hot water! All in all for the price etc it turned out to be one of our favorite places!
The place was good since it is located on the beach and it has huts so cozy and very comfortable to stay on while having a good site of the ocean. The food is good and costs reasonably. They only need to improve the condition of their rooms and the provisions of daily supply of toiletries and towels...the management wont initiate to change linens and towels or clean the rooms even if your stay would last for more than 3 days. The towels on the first day of stay would require a deposit. Should it not be included in the room cost already? Needs improvement also on staffs’ accommodating nature to make their clients feel fully welcome...but overall our stay in the resort was memorable and happy..
