Great location and staff. Rooms were cleaned everyday and the staff was super kind and helpful. Breakfast was incredible!

The room was on the smaller end and we didn’t really have any closet space or room for luggage. Beds were pushed to the wall.

Das Hotel hat ein sehr schönes Design, teilweise ist es allerdings schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Es hat ein sehr gehobenes Ambiente, was man unter anderem auch an dem sehr aufmerksamen Personal merkt. Auch positiv fanden wir, dass wir hier hauptsächlich japanische und asiatische Gäste hatten und keine Busreisegruppen. Insbesondere in der Bibliothek, die auch als Frühstücksraum dient, herrscht eine sehr gemütliche und hochwertige Atmosphäre. Alles ist sehr stilvoll, auch die Gäste - keine Kinder hüpfen herum und man kann hier wunderbar sein Frühstück einnehmen oder den Aperitif. Wir hatten das Standard Zimmer gebucht allerdings mit Zugang zu dieser Lounge nicht nur zum Frühstück, sondern auch zum Nachmittastee und dem Aperitif. Das würden wir auf jeden Fall so empfehlen, weil das das wirkliche Highlight der Unterkunft ist. Abends kann man hier kleine Häppchen essen sich selber so viel Bier zapfen wie man will und guten Wein und guten Sake trinken. Ein echter Wohlfühl-Ort! Beim Frühstück kann man wählen, ob europäisch oder asiatisch und bekommt dann einen Teller mit verschiedenen Dingen. Außerdem gibt es noch ein eher kleines Buffet, um sich selbst zu bedienen. Die Auswahl ist nicht sehr groß, aber die Qualität ist gut und der Kaffee schmeckt. Unser Zimmer war im obersten Stockwerk und es war sehr ruhig.

Das Standard Zimmer war recht klein und auch das Bad. Das Bad ist auch nicht sehr hochwertig. Das Bett war uns etwas zu eng für zwei Personen. Bei der Klimaanlage konnte man nur die Intensität der Lüftung verändern, aber nicht die voreingestellte Temperatur; daher ließ sie sich nicht gut individuell anpassen.

Air con in early April is still for warming only (not cooling) and therefore we need to open the window However it is close to the traffic crossing which sometimes had some sounds from the crossing alarm

地點方便.靠近逛街的地方, 旁邊有麥當勞. 早餐有中式或西式可以選, 加上小型自助吧, 已經非常足夠. 第一天有享用到下午茶小點心. 可惜後來都在外面旅遊, 沒有享用到雞尾酒及晚上的夜茶. 房間隔音良好. 有準備鋁製罐裝水,後面幾天可以拿來當外出水壺.

房間燈光比較昏暗, 早餐建議可以稍微變化菜色, 不然連續住宿的人每天主餐都一樣.

Club room was nice with coffee, snacks and evening beverage choices.

Room was the worst on our 21 day trip. No closets in the room at all. Just basically a bar on the wall with hangers. Breakfast didn’t measure up to the photos posted on line - Japanese breakfast was inadequate with minimal seafood items. Tried the American breakfast on day, and the eggs were cold and none of the really good Japanese bread.

The location was excellent. It rained for an entire day but there was lots of undercover shopping. Walking distance to the Art Gallery, which, was fabulous. Short taxi ride to and from the station and ferry terminal.

The room were very clean, tidy and well presented. All amenities and toiletries required were available and working or plentiful. Happy with the location as close to shops and restaurants. Breakfasts were limited but were more than adequate. The evening drinks and hors d'oeuvres were a pleasant surprise.

Room sizes were small but, obviously, cannot be changed (really consistent with most small doubles in many mid-range hotels through Japan).

The breakfast was delicious and the high light of the stay.

- paper thin walls so can hear other guests, noisy and loud - noisy street outside (all night) - funky smell in bathroom (mold under the tub) - old building that needs updating: single pane windows and poor heating - no better than the Rihga Royal or Dormy Inn (2 star lodging) but priced higher for no reason

Very accommodating staff!

This is a truly luxury experience. The staff are exceptional. The decor reminds one of the art deco cruise liners of the past. The breakfast and food offerings in the evening are scrumptious. The location is very near the local train station so getting around is easy and interesting. I have stayed before and return to Takamatsu for the pleasure of this facility.

The evening snacks & drinks were identical every day. I appreciate that it is offered at all, but food was not fresh or imaginative.

A charming hotel! The rooms, while on the small side, are very picturesque and comfortable. Street noise is quite audible, even on the top floor. The rooms can also get quite hot though when there's sun, as we couldn't control the thermostat. We had to ask housekeeping for a key to open the window to get the temperature down. We really enjoyed the ambience at the library room, where they serve breakfast and also provide free drinks and snacks throughout the day. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

החדר סטנדרט היה קטן עם מיטה זוגית שאחד מצדדיה צמוד לקיר. מכיוון שהיינו לילה אחד (בחג סטנדרט) וחזרנו למלון ליומיים נוספים בהמשך ביקשנו חדר גדול יותר וקיבלנו כזה. חדר זה הרבה יותר נוח למרות שגם הוא קטן יחסית.

The hotel staff were welcoming. The room was immaculate but very small. Location was good for main reason to visit the Ritsurin Gardens which were perfect.

We asked for a dinner reservation on arrival around 5.00pm to be told this wasn’t possible but we could try tomorrow. We tried and reception made the booking. I then told them my wife was vegetarian and would there be something suitable on the menu. She checked with the restaurant who suddenly told us the restaurant was no longer available. We were invited for cocktails/snacks in the bar which was very nice but once again everything was meat or fish The only thing available for my wife was a wheat cracker with a red bead on top.

First night, it was bit cold.

Royal Park is very clean, the staff were helpful although most of the staff spoke no English. Rooms were nicely furnished and beds were very comfortable. Royal Park has a great afternoon "happy hour" where some snacks are available in the lounge along with tea, coffee, and juices. The breakfast buffet was terrific with both Western and Japanese foods available. Highly recommend!

Excellent location within easy walking distance from ferries from mainland Honshu as well as JR Takamatsu station. They offer complimentary Japanese or Weatern breakfasts are absolutely superb. Staff are incredibly polite and efficient

Room was small even by Japanese standards and were a little dark

The cocktail hour was very nice.

The smell in the cortidor of our room was not goid the day we arrived. After that it was fine.

The check-in process was well prepared in advance, which allowed us to check in quickly. As I was bringing my customers along, this efficiency was very important to me. The facilities are nice and well maintained. The room space is relatively small, but I believe this is common for hotels in Japan. Breakfast offered both Japanese set and Western set options, and the food was tasty. However, one of my customers mentioned that the variety was limited, as he prefers a buffet-style breakfast. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with good service.

Breakfast options and the complimentary food and drinks during cocktail hour were stunningly good quality. What may be considered as fewer options/choices are far well overtaken by the quality of the produce and preparation...as far as food went 10/10!

Only tried the American breakfast which was quite good - the buffet along side it was lovely. We had bought access to the lounge which was an absolute delight - tea and cake in the afternoon as well as appetisers and cocktails early evening. We loved the art deco style snd furnishing of the hotel . It definitely had an indulgent feel to it! All this and friendly and efficient staff!

Air conditioner not working in first room but lovely lady at front desk organised us a different slightly larger room which was excellent.

This hotel had a very nice feel. It was obviously a high end build but had a kind of faded glamour feel. This was not off putting . The staff were extremely pleasant to deal with and the on site breakfast good with a Japanese and English breakfast option. We loved the lounge and went every night for a drink and canape - this also gave the oppertunity to meet other travelers if you were open to that. Location wise it was very close to an extremely long mall with many dinner options and close to walk to many other of the city's sight seeing areas.

Lovely breakfast. Lovely staff. Comfortable bed (once I had climbed over my wife, as there was no other way onto the far side!)

Really cramped room. Nowhere to put clothes, so lived out of suitcase. Nowhere to put the suitcases!! Most expensive room I have ever stayed in, in terms of usable floor space.

From the outside the hotel looks like a downfall, an ugly red and dated building. Inside you are welcomed by a nice and helpful staff however their english is very limited. Fortunately they know how to use google translate. However I would expect a hotel staff to be bilangual. Also on the inside the hotel is very much dated, the furniture is in need of some TLC. Nevetheless everything (lobby, rooms, breakfast room) is spotless. Some modernising would be welcome.

Good location from the town area. Bus is a more suitable option to access the hotel, train is a bit far away. Room and furniture are in good condition and clean. The happy hour lounge provide quality wine and snacks, the breakfast also good.

Small but functional room. Predinner drinks provided in comfortable library. Excellent breakfast included.

ホテルが市内電車の起点、瓦町駅に徒歩数分のロケーションにあり、どこに行くにも便利。 ホテルの朝食ルームが書斎風の落ち着いたアレンジで朝粥メニューがとても良い。

Their hospitality is outstandingly good. I paid 4 stars price for very old facilities, and business hotel size room. Even if it’s the highest season, I wasn’t convinced at all.
