Stallingborough Grange Hotel

Location excellent Lovelly rooms if in area again it would be first choice

Everything was excellent

Freshly cooked fresh food delicious I really enjoyed my breakfast and the choice on offer.

Everything was good for myself and family.no complaints at all.we would stay here again.

Beautiful setting I attended a wedding there very beautiful place

Stunning location and setting x

Such fabulous staff - nothing was too Much trouble ! Well done everyone x

A great sized room , very clean too

Nothing. Staff were rude, unhelpful and gave us a room that we didn’t book online via booking.com. They treated their wedding guests as a priority and we didn’t matter to them at all.

Everything!

Quiet surroundings, clean nice restaurant

No quiet area, bar area only, very loud and noisy ( business meeting delegates extremely loud but not the fault of hotel hence needs a quiet room)continental needs meats and cheeses larger fruit option needed

The rooms, the facilities and staff

It was exceptionally hot while attending the wedding, the rooms could benefit from some air conditioning or free fans available, but that really is nit picking on a fantastic stay

Beautiful and perfectly kept property. Very friendly staff. Lovely location and grounds

Rustige ligging en toch niet ver af

De bedden zijn 140cm breedt, krap voor 2 volwassen mensen

Restaurant , bar , staff and hosts.

Pleasant and quiet environment. We had an excellent supper in the restaurant. Friendly staff, especially Hannah who was welcoming and helpful.

Lovely party venue

Not enough staff on the reception We waited a long time for receptionist

Room was clean, bed was comfortable. The property has ev chargers for £10 a night use. Food was lovely.

On check in we were given a small standard room and not the superior we had booked and paid for. We went to reception to sort the mistake and were told it’s because you booked through booking.com. We eventually got the room we paid for.

Breakfast good , good and quiet location

shower room was flooding. The drainage was so slow and pan filling up quickly and made the experience very uncomfortable . Meant to report at reception on checking out, unfortunately it was not manned. Alerted through email, no response at time of review. TV pictures quality very poor , a fan and fridge in room will be desirable.

Lovely room with nice views, very clean room with a lovely comfortable bed.

So hot in the room, woke up soaked in bed! Could with some air conditioning or at least a fan in the room.

Yes the hotel was wonderful but we had no hot water at the basin then when fixed it was just a dribble. Otherwise no problems at all.

No hot water at basin

The room was too hot. Needed a fan

Great staff really friendly so well organised and attentive nice beer lovely breakfast

Everything was just so well organised and delivered with a smile

Beautiful hotel in a lovely location, cannot rate highly enough! Friendly helpful staff and owners. Super comfy beds, everything immaculate and everything you need for an enjoyable stay . Great bar and dining area with good choices for breakfast both hot and cold. We were fortunate enough to have amazing weather so to sit outside in the walled garden was a bonus and our grandson loved helping feed the Koi carp. Plenty free parking. Will definitely return and highly recommend!

Nothing to dislike.

Lovely setting and great food.

I wasn’t told about a wedding that evening and was put right above the entrance and exit. Terrible night due to the noise and to top it off the shower was filthy. I have sent a complaint directly to them and dissatisfied with the situation.

My wife and I were welcomed by friendly staff, our room was clean and comfortable with all the facilities that we needed. We were there for a wedding reception, which was held in an adjacent building to the Hotel, this also was exact, the buffet was lovely and a great time was had by all. In the morning we all met up for lovely breakfast before heading home. So all in all, we had a wonderful weekend. Thank you All the very best Peter & Shelley Davenport

I can’t think of anything that would have made our stay any better, it’s a lovely place and pleasant surroundings. My wife and I would certainly recommend the Grange Hotel

The look of the hotel. Nice bar area and restaurant

Nothing

Great location, fab restaurant and lovely staff.

.

Everything great place the waitress who catered for me last night was very nice polite great at her job.

Can’t think of anything

Lovely staff and immaculately clean food was amazing too

Clean, friendly, location

Great room great food

There was not much at all I didn’t like

Excellent staff. We were there as wedding guests for a two night stay. Clean room, good facilities, nice bar, good food. Staff were very helpful, many thanks for the stay.

Friendly helpful staff

Room was clean and an excellent price. Staff were great.

Breakfast was very disorganised and had to wait for good to be cooked. Ok if choosing from menu but not really acceptable for a buffet menu.

Stunning rooms , polite staff

Price of bar

The staff were extremely helpful and the food was amazing. Will definitely visit in future

Nothing everything was perfect

Beautiful location, nice people and great food.

My room was warm when I opened the window the extractor from the kitchen was beside my room, the noise and smell was annoying more than anything.

Nice area and out of the way

Low ceilings, with no warning signs, hit my head a few times

I liked the dog friendly environment. I liked the restaurant, and th service.vThe gluten free options.

The wine was nice but a little overpriced at over £10 a glass. The colhoice of Gluten free desserts were a bit scanty.

Good events staff. Hotel all as advertised.

Returning again for a pleasant stay. Staff are great and very clean rooms.

Doors could do with soft closing systems for those guests that don’t have respect for others around them. Also a loo brush in toilet would be good.

Hundefreundlich.

Es gibt nichts zu beanstanden.

Beautiful grounds, with a choice of outdoor seating. The fish pond and fountain were very relaxing.

The room was quite small.

Excellent, friendly staff and rooms pleasant

Food, location - amazing shower.

Clean, very good venue, bar staff and reception were lively and polite

We found breakfast to be average. There was a lot of us having breakfast due to party night before so understandable. However one of the ladies serving, we found to be rude and extremely un helpful. Many commented on the same lady. She was very abrupt in approachable.

The staff were exceptionally friendly. The corridors smelled really fresh and the room immaculate. I had booked it for a business trip and had relatively low expectations but to see it was so nice, clean and had that little bit of luxury too was a very pleasant surprise and my wife and kids had joined me for going away to York for that weekend, so she too was delighted with it.

The lad behind the bar had some great patter. We met the owners husband (probably pretending not to be the co-owner) and he was really friendly and nice to our family. The lad behind the bar served our dinner too with the help of a lovely woman, who was also really nice to talk to and pleasant.

Good clean and staff great!

Shower was very poor and noisy!

Great staff, clean, great food, easy check in and check out.

The staff were very friendly and helpfull

Rooms are a bit dated

Clean. Good breakfast and friendly breakfast staff.

Bedroom decor was a bit dated.

Very friendly, helpful and competent staff. Superb food

Rooms were lovely and clean Check in was efficient and breakfast was great everything was very good value and very comfortable

I would have preferred someone in person rather than a screen check in but really it was fine just progress everything was very good value and very comfortable

We booked this hotel because the Event we were attending was held there. The beds were comfortable. The dinner was excellent and the company too. Staff were friendly and obliging.

I would have appreciated hand grips on the wall in the shower The window was extremely difficult to open. It would not stay up if lifted from the bottom and the pull handles, right on the top of the windows, were impossible for me to reach although my husband, at full stretch did manage to.

So cozy comfortable and friendly every part of hotel staff food room top class

Nothing

Lovely building, modern but with the oldy worldly feel. Friendly staff, the food was lovely from the evening meal to the breakfast!

Self check in, check out. Took the personal touch away, no signage to say room numbers which is such a shame as the staff were super friendly and attentive and couldn’t have done enough for you. So seemed strange to not be greeted by them on arriving.

Alles in allem super.

Keine Möglichkeit mit den Hunden zu laufen. Direkt an der Schnellstraße für Hundehalter eher ungeeignet.

Staff were very nice. Food was fantastic. Room was a fair size. Comfortable bed.

The fitness suite was of a poor standard. More like a storage room with tables and chairs in there with limited gym equipment in it.

Helpful hosts and excellent food. Very dog friendly and good outside grounds and parking. Superb value and well placed for the Wolds. Staff went over and beyond normal customer service levels.

Excellent stay. Staff very friendly & helpful. Bed is so comfortable great night's sleep. Location is great we were visiting friends in immingham. Breakfast was Lovely plenty of choice. We will be back again.

Nothing

Second stay and couldn’t flaw anything, staff are great and food and beverages are great.

Great food... nice clean rooms and comfortable bed... breakfast was great...

Noisey Germans!

Very clean and tidy staff was lovely

Nothing

Very clean friendly staff

Bar staff lovely as was breakfast staff .

The soup was pricey and cold and disgusting. Carrot and tarragon microwaved and separated !

Great staff.

Honestly the clinical cheeper LED cool white light in the room in the office style ceiling. Some warm white spots like above the bed better spread around the room.

Fabulous staff, comfy rooms and they have EV charging at a very reasonable rate. Food is good and a good menu and range of beers and wines

The food was excellent, rooms were warm and very clean 👌 the staff was very helpful

Nothing

Nice communal areas, bar and restaurant are very good. Majority of staff were friendly and accommodating (but there is always that one!) Parking on site is a bonus.

Rooms are dated and poor showers really need updated. No AC/heating controls available in rooms so you have to go with the flow, and some rooms have lack of working radiators. They were quick to change my room when requested, however I was lucky as only one was available at the time.

Bed super comfy Food was yummy. Nice for an over night stay

I have a fish allergy and the room smelly very fishy from the kitchen but overall it didn’t effect my stay

Great hotel, staff very helpful, evening meal also great, will be back when next in the area.

Morning coffee a wee bit strong, maybe what i selected, but that will not stop me comming back...

breakfast was fantastic abd rooms excellent

Easy to find & well located for Grimsby

Lovely property with friendly staff particularly the lady in the breakfast room.

Beds were rather hard and uncomfortable

Very convenient location (attending wedding) Comfortable bed. Good coffee and biscuits. Pleasant view from window.

Information online said the hotel had a lift. It didn't, therefore, tricky having had one knee replacement and awaiting other. Room a little dated.

Staff were very welcoming , polite and personable and most with an excellent disposition The breakfast was tasty and freshly cooked !

All was good . V tiny point- that in the room there could be mats to place hot drinks and perhaps a more detailed information sheet with Wi-fi defails on it .
