Super leckeres Frühstück. Sehr freundliches Personal. Hotel hat nur 3 Zimmer, was sehr angenehm war und den Aufenthalt sehr besonders gemacht hat.

Central fort location (all prime locations at walkable distance), the lovely staff who makes the stay awesome. Also the house has revamped very beautifully. The breakfast served was delicious.

Everything was perfect

Even better than in the pictures, we warmly recommend this hotel. We got upgraded and had the master bed room, which was amazing and has a massive bathroom. AC, mosquito nets, etc work well. Another couch or place to lounge in the AC area wouldn’t hurt. Breakfast contained fresh fruits, yoghurt, granola, string hoppers, two curries and freshly made mango juice - can’t complain. Even a cup of tea or coffee is brought to your room in the morning

Coffee is instant coffee, no locally roasted, despite it being largely available. No couch in the bed room, hence you can only „chill“ on the bed or in the lobby (which has no AC)

The breakfast was beautifully prepared for us at our selected time. The fresh fruit was amazing

El edificio colonial es precioso, con una cuidada y elegante rehabilitación. Ubicación excelente en el Fort. Con mosquitera, ventilador y aire acondicionado.

La habitación de dos camas es un poco pequeña y justa de espacio, sobre todo teniendo en cuenta que al no tener armario (solo un galán) debes tener las maletas abiertas en el suelo (los apoya maletas colocados no permiten abrir maletas más grandes que las de cabina). El aire acondicionado y el ventilador hacían mucho ruido, lo que dificulta el sueño si eres de fácil despertar. El agua de cortesía es agua filtrada, que no embotellada, así que si eres extranjero y te cuidas de beber agua por cuestiones estomacales, no puedes hacer uso de ella.

We hadden hier een fantastisch verblijf. Mooi gerenoveerde koloniale woning in Galle Fort, dichtbij alles. Prachtige kamer, heel vriendelijke gastvrouw en overheerlijk ontbijt in de mooie eetruimte. Ook een mooie binnentuin.

Het bed was wat aan de kleine kant.

We had a wonderful stay at N5 Middle Street in Galle. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, with a charming design and every detail carefully maintained. It is a peaceful and elegant place that made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a great selection of fresh and tasty food. It was the perfect way to start each day. We would also like to give a special thank you to the staff, who were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. They went out of their way to help us charge our electric tuk tuk, and their friendliness and willingness to assist made a real difference to our experience. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Galle and would happily stay here again.

Very friendly and helpful Hotel Manager. Helped with local activities, restaurants contacts for walking tour and cookery course . Staff also very helpful, polite and produced a great breakfast. Location perfect to explore Galle.

The breakfast had a great spread. Rooms were clean, looked nice overall. The male workers were really nice, friendly, and helpful.

I wish the mngement had called me to inform that there was a power failure from 2pm to 5pm. And also informed us to arrive at the alternative address for time being so that the taxi dropped me there. Clear communication will be appreciated. I would've liked a plug point in the bathroom near mirror to use hair dryer.

This property is stunning, located within the walls of the old fort it is close to the historical part of Galle with its restaurants, shops and walks. The property has been sympathetically restored, the room was comfortable and the staff friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was delicious.

Excellent location, right smack in the middle of the Fort. Rooms and all facilities are clean, everything in working order. Feels almost like a brand-new property. The manager Dilani was extremely helpful, and the rest of the staff were also excellent.

Alojamiento muy bien ubicado en el centro histórico de Galle. Entorno familiar y tranquilo con personal muy amable y dispuesto a ayudar. Habitaciones y baño muy amplios y limpios.

Nos dio la sensación que la mosquitera de la cama tenía algo de polvo y la habitación era algo ruidosa. No disponía de caja fuerte. Solo probamos el desayuno para llevar y era excesivamente sencillo comparado con otros.

A very beautiful and well-located hotel in Galle. We loved our stay here. The hotel is elegantly designed, with spacious rooms, and with only three rooms in total, it feels very peaceful and quiet. The staff were very kind and helpful, and the room was spotless and had everything we needed. We also had one of our favourite breakfasts here, which made the stay even more special. Overall, a top hotel that we would highly recommend!

Tienen un montón de detalles para hacerte sentir lo más cómodo posible. Tanto la recepción (excepcional) como cualquier petición hace que la estancia sea maravillosa. No tienen nevera pero puedes pedir en recepción agua fría en cualquier momento.

El único problema que hay es que las ventanas va con unas persianas de madera tradicional que no pueden abrirse, por lo que la única manera de tener luz natural es abriendo las ventanas y escapándose la temperatura interior de la habitación.

The host was so welcoming, she answered a ton of our questions on arrival about the local area, which was super helpful. The staff were all lovely and always eager to help. The Sri Lankan breakfast was probably one of my favourite meals of our trip. The rooms were beautiful, location was great. Highly recommend.

A small boutique hotel with only three beautiful rooms. Great staff and an excellent breakfast included. If you want to explore the fort, this is an excellent place to stay. Just wish we could’ve stayed longer.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt und würde jederzeit wiederkommen! Die Unterkunft ist stilvoll, gemütlich, sehr sauber. Das Personal ist äußerst aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Dilani hat uns z.B. beim Organisieren von Ausflügen bereits im Vorfeld unterstützt. Man merkt, dass hier Profis arbeiten!

Due to the layout of the property, the sound travels from the kitchen and reception area into the room. Ie Don’t expect a sleep-in as they make the (excellent) breakfast.

This is by far the most beautiful hotel we had in Sri Lanka. The hotel itself is a heritage building with a lovely courtyard. The building and the room were beautiful and comfy. We got a tasty mango juice as welcome drink. The breakfast is delicious and freshly prepared. The staff is really kind and helpful. We could even fill our water bottles in the hotel since they had filtered water. The location is great. The attractions of Galle Fort all are in walking distance. There are amazing restaurants and coffee shops around. There is just a little traffic and it is forbidden to honk in Galle Fort, so we had a very quiet night.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. Exceptionally clean in an excellent location. Staff were brilliant and were very accommodating with the breakfast for my coeliac friend. Breakfast was delicious. Beds were so comfortable and the living area was so cool, had gate entrances when you walked in. Favourite accom we had in Sri Lanka

A couple we met on our trip told us about this place. It’s a fantastic location, right inside the fort, but quiet. Great breakfast - one of the best we had in our 3 week holiday. Make sure you visit The Bungalow restaurant when you’re here!

We would have loved a pool - there’s room for one in the courtyard!

Right in the middle of Fort Galle but kinda secluded and away from the noise. Extremely hospitable hosts and very well managed. Breakfast was exceptionally good.

This boutique hotel is beautifully decorated with an old-fashioned charm. It is conveniently located just inside the fort with all the sights, restaurants and shops just within walking distance. The staff were exceptionally helpful and polite and breakfast was tasty and abundant. Great value for money.

Tolles, kleines Hotel mit einem wunderschönen Innenhof und sehr stilvoll eingerichtetem Eingangsbereich und sehr schönen Zimmern. Super Lage im Fort mit vielen Möglichkeiten (Restaurants, Shops, Sightseeing). Großartiges Frühstück mit riesigen Portionen (hatten die lokale Version mit Roti, String Hoppers und verschiedenen Curries), dazu gab es eine riesige Fruchtplatte sowie Joghurt mit Müsli. Unglaublich freundliche und zuvorkommende Mitarbeiter. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen!

Die Klimaanlage ist in der Nacht leider mehrfach ausgefallen und musste neu eingestellt werden.

What a fabulous property inside Galle Fort. The bedroom, communal areas and staff are really top notch here and the location is within a stones throw of all of the sights, shops, restaurants and cafes. We are pleased we stayed so centrally and made the most of the fact that it was easy to pop back through the day to cool off or drop shopping. Delicious breakfast too

Great location and airy and large.

This place is excellent! This small historic building is a wonderful place to stay. Right in the heart of the old fort yet so peaceful. Rooms are clean and a very good size. What makes this stay even better are the staff. They are so polite and helpful. The tropical breakfast is fantastic. Only 3 or 4 rooms meant we felt like we had the place to ourselves. It’s like having an AirBnB but with staff to look after you.

I had such a lovely stay at this beautiful hotel in Galle. The property itself is charming, peaceful, and perfectly located, but what truly made the experience special was the incredible staff. A heartfelt thank you to Deneth, Tharusha, and Dilani, who went above and beyond to make everything perfect. Their warmth, attentiveness, and genuine kindness made me feel so welcome from the moment I arrived. Also, one of the best breakfast we have had in SL. I would happily return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Galle.

Our stay was truly a five-star experience. The location inside Galle Fort is excellent, perfect for exploring the area on foot. The service was outstanding, and the staff were exceptionally kind and attentive throughout our stay. The room was unbeatable — spacious, comfortable, and beautifully appointed. Having a bathtub was a real plus, especially to relax after a long walk around the fort. Breakfast was incredible, with great flavor and high-quality products.

There was absolutely nothing I didn’t like — it exceeded all my expectations.
