Reviewed Feb 24, 2025Horrible experience. From the rude staff, the long checking process, no english at all, the room that smelled like an hash tray although I specifically asked for non-smoking room, no apologies for the issue, and a new room that had trashes, hairs in the bathroom, stains all around, and still a cigarette smell. So disappointing this is even listed on hotel.com

Reviewed Apr 14, 2019The breakfast is simple but its ok.I guess the price you pay equal to the quality of food. But for the price, i think its decent. The location is excellent and near the train station. Just look out for the underpass. Otherwise, you got to be daring to run across the road.

Reviewed Sep 25, 2017Rooms are very clean and spacious what you would expect from this brand. Very close to the high speed train which was great as we arrived very late at night. Although getting to the hotel involves running across so pretty busy roads !! They could do with putting some access to drinks or snacks other than a basic vending machine. Will stay again next time on business

Reviewed Jul 27, 2017A business trip to Handan. A very convenient location if you are travelling via High Speed Rail as it is 5mins walk from Handan East Station. Overall experience is good (staff is helpful and hotel is relatively new). However, it is a distant away from Handan city area...nil/limited local eateries / shops. [Hotel does have food vending machines] Hotel amenities can be improved. Be great it there is a mini fridge.

Reviewed Jan 17, 2017This brand new Holiday Inn Express is just like a Holiday Inn Express in the U.S. Rooms are nice, bed and pillows are comfortable, and adjustable thermostat actually controls the temperature to the value set (unlike many Chinese hotels). Very convenient for late arrival or early departure from Handan Dong Railway Station.
