First interaction was with Toddy at reception. He was super helpful and provided guidance for locations to visit, mode of travel, food options etc. My CC didn't worked on day1 and I was asked to relax and try again another day. Room was very nice attached to spacious common balcony. Very well maintained property with good breakfast. Suitable for both short and long stay.

During my short stay I didn't find anything to complain about.

Ubicación, instalaciones y personal

Nos alojamos 3 noches en Agosto de 2026. La habitación estaba en la planta baja y era muy grande: cama enorme (aunque el cochón duro) y con un area de sofa, sillón y mesita. Muy bien de espacio y limpieza. El desayuno nos decepcionó un poco aunque era "correcto": te hacían elegir entre tostada, huevos o tortilla que elaboraban al momento y te servían. Echamos de menos algo más que no fuera elaborado y pudieras coger tú, como algo de fiambre, galletas o cereales y no había nada de eso. La ubicación también estaba bien, era un sitio tranquilo y la estación de bus está super cerca y fuimos andando aunque llevábamos maletones de ruedas. Al lado de la estación está también el mercado nocturno. Era de los pocos alojamientos en nuestro viaje por Tailandia en el que no teníamos piscina y la verdad que la echamos de menos porque siempre hace calor, pero esto no es su culpa obviamente, puesto que sabíamos a lo que íbamos. En general lo recomiendo bastante.

El desayuno es mejorable.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in diesem von einer liebevollen Familien geführten B&B sehr genossen und zwei Mal verlängert. Dadurch haben wir 3 verschiedene Zimmer gesehen, alle tipp topp für uns. ++ freundliche und unkomplizierte Gastgeber und Staff, hilfreiche Tipps inklusive ++ sauber und gut unterhalten ++ schöner, grüner Innenhof ++ nahe am Busbahnhof, night market, Bars, Restaurants und Clocktower

- Bettwäsche hatte teilweise Flecken, welche wohl beim Waschen nicht mehr ausgingen. Kein Problem für uns, insbesondere in Anbetracht des sonstigen sehr guten Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Bed and breakfast in posizione centrale, comodissima per girare Chiang Rai a piedi. Lo staff è gentilissimo e ci ha dato molti consigli utili.

Struttura con un atmosfera speciale immersa nella natura pur essendo in città. Buona colazione preparata al momento. Host che al check in ha dato tante informazioni e che può anche prenotare escursioni. In pochi minuti arrivi all’orologio e al night market.

Il gestore che ci ha accolto ci ha fatto un itinerario stupendo di Chiang Rai in un giorno. Pulito, letto comodo e grande, stanza spaziosa. Super consigliato

Tutto! Appena arrivati un ragazzo dello staff si è preso del tempo per mostrarci le principali attrattive e darci vari consigli molto utili, ci ha anche gentilmente lasciato una mappa. Davvero apprezzato! Camera pulita e in ordine, in un contesto davvero splendido. Comoda, letto comodo e bagno spazioso, doccia perfetta. Colazione buonissima e ricca, soprattutto considerando che è un B&B: uova fatte al momento, toast, frutta, yogurt, burro e marmellata... davvero apprezzata. Rapporto qualità prezzo superlativo. Posizione tranquilla e vicinissima al centro. Davvero consigliato!

Una bellissima scoperta a Chiang Rai! Vicina alla Clock Tower, questa location offre la possibilità di spostarsi facilmente in tutta la città. L'host, carinissimo, parla benissimo inglese e ha spiegato tutto ciò che si poteva vedere nei dintorni con una grande semplicità e con una mappa molto chiara. La colazione semplice e preparata al momento dà le energie per affrontare la giornata. Inoltre, viene fornita una bottiglietta d'acqua a testa per il soggiorno e, nel caso la usiate, viene rimessa il giorno dopo. Ne vale assolutamente la pena! Se siete a Chiang Rai, non perdetevi questa chicca!

The host was very kind and welcoming, On our arrival he explained perfectly the best sightseeing on a map and gave us very interesting information. The room was big and very clean. The location was perfect, many must-seeing places were walking distance, and last but not least, the delicious breakfast they served every morning.

Personnel très gentil, et qui, en arrivant, nous donne un plan avec toutes les annotations et nous propose un programme en fonction du temps que nous passions sur place. Très bien situé dans le Vieux quartier. La chambre est grande neuve et propre. Bon petit déjeuner également.

Soluzione top per soggiornare a Chiang Rai: posizione centrale, l'host molto gentile e accogliente, disponibile per ogni dubbio ed informazione. La stanza molto grande, nuova e ben pulita, con tutto il necessario per trascorrere un piacevole soggiorno. Colazione perfetta per iniziare con il giusto piede la giornata, con frutta locale e uova! Torneremo presto da voi!

El personal muy atento, al llegar nos hicieron toda una introducción de la ciudad y recomendaciones. La habitación amplia y limpia. El hotel se ubica a pocos metros de la torre del reloj y centro de la ciudad, muy cerca de restaurantes y tiendas. Nos sorprendió para bien este hotel, luce mejor en persona que por las fotos.

Todo estuvo perfecto.

Alojamiento familiar, muy limpio y cuidado. El desayuno es sencillo pero rico, el tamaño de las habitaciones está muy bien y son confortables. Está muy bien ubicado a 6 min de la estación de bus. No obstante, por la noche se puede escuchar algo de ruido de las motos de la calle. El personal es muy atento, al llegar Toddy nos explicó todos los lugares de interés en un mapa y cómo llegar a ellos, y nos ayudó con un contratiempo. En relación calidad precio es inmejorable.

El personal era amable y nos dio recomendaciones de que ver. Para una noche puedes quedarte, para más días no lo recomendaría

El lugar estaba lleno de mosquitos: entrada, zonas comunes y la propia habitación. El baño un poco antiguo El desayuno empezaba a las 7:30h, en caso de que tengas que irte antes por viaje es una faena.

It was a lovely stay. We wished to stay even longer. They were really helpful and lovely. The room was clean and comfy. Breakfast was tasty. It is very close to bus station and night Bazaar. They also kept our luggage till our flight.

Lo que más me gusto es que era un sitio muy bonito con muchas vegetación en el exterior, los dueños son muy amable y la habitación era amplia y estaba muy bien en relación calidad precio. El desayuno estaba muy bueno, no había mucha variedad para elegir pero suficiente y muy bien para el precio que nos costó la noche. Esta muy bien ubicado hay un templo justo al lado y para ir hasta el mercado nocturno y a la estación de autobuses está muy cerca e incluso la torre del reloj tampoco estaba lejos.

No me gusto mucho que cuando nos dieron la habitación tenían la puerta abierta con la luz encendida, no sé el tiempo que llevaba abierta... pero de esa manera se podían haber metido mosquitos dentro de la habitación o cualquier otro insecto.

I really liked the location and the breakfast.

The room was spacious but unfortunately it was not cozy. It’s feels like a dorm.

Very spacious, comfortable clean room. In most respects I would recommend the hotel for location, affordability and comfort.

I consider myself reasonably tech savvy but it was impossible to get the TV to bring up content. With two separate remotes and two boxes perhaps it would be beneficial to have some instructions in English beside the TV. The owner was quite disengaged as if my presence was a nuisance. Every time I went past the office he would be staring out the window at me. The one time early evening when he was in his office with I assume another member of staff and I wanted to see if I could borrow an umbrella, the door was locked. I gave up.

L'accueil et la disponibilité de l'hôte étaient exceptionnels. L'hébergement était calme et bien équipé.

Les petits déjeuners manquaient de variété (un seul menu avec différents types d'oeuf). Il y avait beaucoup de petites fourmis sur le lit. L'hôte a traité le problème de son mieux, mais n'a pas pu nous changer de chambre.

Le logement est au centre de chiang rai, les diffèrents nigth market se font à pied, les restos, salon de massage et la gare à proximitè. Dès notre arrivée, Teddy nous a remis un plan avec explications dètaillèes des trajets, des restos, activitês et nigth market pouvant se faire à pied (c’est tellement plus simple de vadrouiller avec toutes ses prècieuses infos). Le studio est vraiment spatieux et calme alors que la route est juste à côtè. La literie vraiment confortable.

Le personnel est super sympa,nous donne toute info nécessaire et importante sans nous essayer de vendre quelque chose. La chambre est spacieuse,propre et confortable. Le petit déjeuner est fait sur le moment où on arrive,on a tjs des fruits et du jus de fruits frais.

Si je peux mettre un petit bémol,l'eau est casi pas chaude,ça a été difficile pour moi.

The helpful staff, clean rooms and nice ambience and location. This near the center of the city but still surprisingly creates a natural look. The breakfast was amazing.

The location of Baan Jaru is excellent 👌, you can reach every where like Clock tower, night market, bus terminal, jetyod road seven eleven, lotus etc. Room is super clean, breakfast is ok 👍, though it starts at 7:30, it will be appreciated if it starts at 7:00 am, since vehicle for sight seeing pick up time is 8:00 am.

There is many potted plants around the hotel which look peaceful but attract mosquitoes. I found many mosquitoes inside the room.

The room we booked was beautiful and quiet. Breakfast was freshly prepared, and the host was very helpful with suggestions on what to do and how to get there. The location is very central. Highly recommended.

La chambre est propre et grande. Nous avons reçu 2 bouteilles d’eau à chaque jour. Bon petit-déjeuner et excellent rapport qualité prix!

Just perfect. Top tier innkeepers. I was really impressed by the immaculate condition of the property, my room, the grounds, the breakfast area. It is clear that the owners care deeply about this place and their guests. My room was large, very comfortable, excellent AC, and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was very good with 3 cooked to order options, fresh fruit, juice, coffee, tea. Very friendly people. The location was within a few minutes walk of many scooter rental places, the Night Bazaar, night market, walking street, and the bus station

Kleines schönes familiengeführtes Hotel in zentraler und dennoch ruhiger Lage. Zimmer und Bad waren top und vor allem sehr sauber! Es gab leckeres Frühstück. Die Besitzer waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir waren schon zum 2. Mal hier (Feb 26) und kommen sehr gerne wieder.

The staff are very welcoming and even advised us on our Chiang Rai itinerary and food recommendations! The room is very comfortable and very nice, AC and the WiFi are great. Wish we could've stayed longer longer, we had a great time. :)

We initially only booked for one night, but having found lots to do in Chiang Rai, decided to stay for two. The quiet, spacious and comfortable room we enjoyed at Baan Jaru definitely contributed to this decision. It's a great place to stay in central Chiang Rai. The homestay is a 10 minute walk from the central bus station and clocktower areas of Chiang Rai. This means there are plenty of food and drink options nearby. Our lovely host - Tony(?), sorry for bad spelling - gave us a map on arrival with several recommendations in the local area and further afield which were all great. The facilities at the homestay were great. Room was light, spacious and modern with a nice seating area at the front. The breakfast buffet was fresh, healthy and tasty, and we enjoyed the freshly made eggs that accompanied it.

No complaints - everything was great.

Todo estuvo perfecto. Habitaciones grande, limpia, cama cómoda, el desayuno estaba bien, muy buen café. El lugar era súper tranquilo, muy agradable. Lo mejor fueron los mapas e información que nos entregó su dueño, muy dedicado a explicar todo y buena recomendaciones de restaurantes. Tiene un perrito muy tierno y educado ! Sin duda volvería.
