Reviewed Sep 10, 2026The rooms were very clean and well kept. Bathrooms were super clean. The bed was comfortable. The rooms are also very spacious and well kitted.
I found the road noise to be very loud while trying to sleep. Even with the windows closed the traffic noise and people talking outside was annoying. Perhaps double glazing on some windows of the building is a good idea.

The carpet and the throw on the couch needed cleaning; they had a foul smell. Cleanliness was very poor; they never changed my bedsheets and towels.

Le plus gros problème est l’isolation. Le bruit de la rue est très présent dès 5h du matin.

Reviewed Jul 23, 2026Very friendly and helpful staff, clean. Tried to make our stay comfortable but something's were not in their control, which was appreciated.
All rooms are on 1st floor, no lift, lots of stairs. I had an operation on foot and I really battled every day using the stairs. Rooms don't have hairdryers or fridges had to request yet advertised. Days when staff forgot to provide towels, toilet paper, had to ask. To get hot water the tap and shower has to be left running for plus minus ten minutes or more. Need to at least put a nonslip mat in shower area, very slippery. Lots of noise from early morning as there's lots of vehicles and businesses across street. Alarm from one of businesses went off every day of our stay from before 6am until past 7am every single morning. Also few days the ladies of the night in street below our window making a racket.

Reviewed Jun 1, 2026Goed warm ontbijt, uit te kiezen van het a la carte menu. Ruime kamer met een goed bed. Late check-in mogelijk en ook de mogelijkheid om nog wat drinken/snacks te kopen. Uber van Kaapstad Airport naar het hotel duurt ongeveer 20 minuten. Vriendelijk personeel.
De receptie en gangen stinken naar natte hond, lijkt door optrekkend vocht te komen. Gelukkig niet in de kamer of in het restaurant. Receptie/gangen kunnen ook wel een renovatie gebruiken. Zorg dat je een kamer krijgt die niet aan de drukke weg grenst, de ramen zijn enkel glas en vanaf 5.00 uur is de geluidshinder niet prettig.

Shower was cold. Very shabby decor and generally in need of some updating. Had to arrange our own transport to Airport despite being advertised as providing a shuttle service. Not a great area but we didn't experience any serious issues. Quite serious leak on the foyer landing left water coming in through a light fitting! Staff were trying their best but this is a Hotel in need of investment .

Reviewed Apr 17, 2026I was in room 28. The breakfast was good and the staff were very friendly, especially Neil that assisted whenever we needed anything. He really went out of his way to make us feel riht at home.
The only thing that I didn't like was that we could not get dinner at the venue. An A la Carte option would make guests life a bit easier as we do not know the Take Away places around there.

The TV did not work , I request to fix the TV, the receptionist told me he is having for someone to release him to fix the TV. Waiting till now nobody came, the water in the bottle in the room was so bad and had a smell. Like ther water was standing for days in that bottle im a regular client book almost every month but this was my worst ever.

Staff were not friendly or helpful, area is not safe and there is nowhere to go to eat or do anything without using transport. Hotel is on a busy road and windows are not insulated so very noisy all night. The room safe did not work (leaking batteries) , no onsite restaurant apart from an asian take away st the edge of the building with a few tables, no vending machine, no elevator, advertised as having an airport shuttle but this needs to be booked 24 hours ahead and fulfilled by a third party who was not available when I asked.

The guest towels for the bathrooms were not changed, dirty towels were left behind and not changed. There is no bar fridge to cool the drinks. The toilet papers were very soft that you needed to use a big portion to wipe yourself and the residues of it it’s left on you. They should use quality 2-ply toilet papers
