Cavo Tagoo Mykonos

The pool and the view was nice

Unfortunately, our stay at Cavo Tagoo was very disappointing, especially considering the extremely high price. We paid around £2,000 per night, and the experience was nowhere near what you would expect from a hotel at this level. The music was extremely loud and could be heard clearly inside our room until late at night, making it very difficult to relax or sleep. Even worse, we found ants and other bugs in the bed, which is completely unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one charging this amount per night. The mattress and bed were also very uncomfortable, so overall the quality of sleep was terrible. The service was disappointing as well and did not feel attentive or luxurious. Cavo Tagoo may look beautiful in photos and on social media, but based on our experience, it is absolutely not worth £2,000 per night. At this price point, I expected exceptional comfort, cleanliness and service, and unfortunately we received none of those.

- high level of cleaning, but but once I checked in the balcon was dusty much - pretty goof food, but overpriced, and the breakfast wasn't varied at all

- not perfect location - there is no sea beach and the space around swimming pool is not so large - prices are eager to be higher than should be

The most prefect hotel ever

Everything. Especially the lady who checked us in(front desk with brown straight hair). She was exceptionally friendly and made me feel welcomed and made a great impression when we checked in. Our room was amazing and pool/restaurants staff were also amazing. If you go to Mykonos, we will definitely go back.

Prezzo assolutamente non allineato alle camere. Valuterei, dato che le temperature a Mykonos non sono troppo elevate, di riscaldare un pochino l’acqua della piscina che era veramente gelida.

Lettini nella zona piscina che non sono esclusivi e non si possono prenotare Lo staff altezzoso e poco professionale. Tanti errori di servizio. C’è veramente troppo vento costante e questo crea disagio. Acqua fredda e non riesci a godere del mare . Insomma se vuoi esclusività e servizio non ci siamo .

It is a Cavo. You know what you get. Staff is super friendly. It was our 3rd stay.

Cost of transfer to Paros was outrageous. I would expect more from concierge. We booked different company for 10% of the price! Music in the evening is different and strange. Honestly guests also have changed. It was our last stay here. It is not luxury for us any more.

The property was very nice. Clean and an interesting design. The breakfasts were excellent. I think it would be good for people who have a youthful energy or want to party.

It was a bit of a maze if you were further from the lobby/pool area. To get to my room I had to take 3 different elevators. I got lost every time. There was no walkability in the area. They had shuttles to the town but only 7pm to 7am. I didn’t feel like there was much to do. The pool was quite small.

In room 420, there was an unpleasant odor coming from the pipes in the sink upon entering. The quality of the shampoo and conditioner left much to be desired. My hair was impossible to comb. The iron and ironing board were outdated. Higher-end hotels now use steam irons.

Honestly one of the best hotels, the room is spacious and amazing. The staff were great specially IOANNA from reception and Marina from the concierge team. They helped us a lot in planning our stay and in any resturant/ beach booking. There is a free shuttle all night to the old town which was really helpful.

O serviço de hotelaria não é encantador. Nós nos hospedamos esperando um experiência diferenciada. Não é. Tem muitos funcionários, mas eles não se comunicam, drink demora, pra sentar e ser atendido no café da manhã demora. Nós saímos de um outro hotel boutique na ilha e fomos pra esse, sentimos muita decepção infelizmente. Fora a hostess da piscina que sempre barrava os hóspedes na entrada para verificar se estavam hospedados, desagradável. A vista é linda, mas não voltaria. Se quiser a vista, passe um dia no Zuma que é propriedade vizinha.

Las vistas, el mood del hotel, la ubicación, el servicio, todo excelente pero mi habitación si bien tenía una vista espectacular, daba arriba del parking del hotel y para el precio que pagué y el tipo de habitación me hubiese gustado que sea mejor vista.

La cama era un desastre, se caía de un lado, y el sistema de aire acondicionado y luces era un lío.

The staff we’re very helpful. The view was amazing and the food at the restaurant. Miraki and Zuma was perfect.

The only thing I didn’t like that there was no privacy. The staff was entering their room without knocking without permission although we complained about it they repeated it.

I used to come to Mykonos very often but since 9 years never been. During that time Cavoo Tagoo was something else service and view was amazing also it was a cool place but unfortunately right now it is horrible. I stayed there for 5 nights, 6 days for my birthday. I stayed junior suite with jacuzzi. Room was awful so dirty and very old. Even sometimes they clean room during night service before night service they dont come to clean the room. I dont think this hotel can be considered as luxury hotel. Obviously its not luxury. Now its Instagram hyped 3 star hotel. They even dont have tooth paste and brush set they have nothing in the room. Even they forgot to put complimentary water most of the time. Jacuzzi was so noisy so i couldnt sleep at nights which you cannot able to turn it off. Staff was nice and friendly at the breakfast to be honest. Their breakfast was also okey which you can find the same most of the Greece hotels. The customers most of them were all wannabes and trashy. After 6 days today when i was about to check out after breakfast i went to my room to get the luggage which was ready so around 1130 front desk called me and asked me i have to check out right which was so rude as if im not checking out. You could charge me if i dont checkout on time but annoying behaviors are not acceptable for a hotel which calls themselves “Luxury” obviously its not. Also i workout everyday in my routines but unfortunately i couldnt because they have a gym which is not bigger than 20 square-meters and no necessary equipments. They shouldnt say that hotel has a gym. I wont recommend anyone who has high expectations and travels as much as me all around the world. Wont be back again, doesnt worth the money.

The views and the room.

The service at the front desk was poor. The receptionist Kiriaki was dismissive and rude and needs customer service training. Sophia was nice and the luggage attendants were friendly. But that front desk receptionist is the single reason I will never stay there again.
