Staff were wonderful and the location was amazing for a surfer or couple of group with some non surfers - not too much else around so bring a good book but lovely hotel staff and location loved our stay thank you

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Bombora Medewi. The food was great, the facilities were fantastic and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely stay with them again on my next trip to Medewi! Thank you Bombora for an excellent time!

The hotel is nice with nicely decorated rooms and good breakfast but it was SO FREAKING NOISY in the morning which is crazy considering it was at the end of the street??? Anyways. There were loud vehicles RIGHT OUTSIDE the rooms early and the morning and some type of construction going on that kept waking us up (had climbed Ijen the night before so really needed the sleep) the welcome drink was AMAZING! Grab doesn’t really work so bring cash!!

Rummet var väldigt litet, ingen bra service, finns inget att göra där om. Man inte surfar, missvisande bilder. Då det är ett väldigt litet hotel. Mer som en. Motell. Vi bokade 3 nätter, vi fick lämna efter en natt, kunde inte sova pga att det saknas glasfönster, och ljudet från vågor stör sömnen, fick ingen ersättning, rekommenderar ej.

The hotel position on the beachfront was fantastic. Breakfast and meals looking out at the sea and the surfers you could not beat or the view from the infinity pool. The rooms were well decorated and spacious, with a huge balcony, ours had an elevated sea view which we loved. The food in the restaurant was delicious and most importantly the staff, they were so attentive and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. We are hoping to go back for another visit it was that good

We loved every minute at this hotel. The rooms were lovely and clean. The food was amazing and there were a lot of choices. The cocktails were also tasty. My favourite part was the pool overlooking the surf and watching the sunsets every night while eating dinner. The surf was also amazing. And the staff were always lovely and helpful. I loved it and hope to one day go back. Totally recommend!

Bombora was our fourth stop in 3 weeks around the west coast of Bali—and it was our favorite! The location, staff, and food were excellent. When my son got injured surfing, management was quick to locate a physician who came to our room. I really can’t say enough good things about how we were treated by all members of the staff. I highly recommend this property.

We only stayed 2 nights in Bombora and we spent most of the daylight hours looking out from the bar/dining area at the beautiful sea view, fishing boats and surfers carving their magic. Our room, 05 was very close to the service road so there was a lot of noise from trucks and workers from 6:30am. The room was just a standard but nicely decorated. The dining options in the area are limited. We ate both nights at Warung Gede next door which serve simple local cuisine. As we weren’t surfers and we don’t ride scooters, 2 nights was the perfect amount of time here. Be warned, beer is the most expensive in Bali.

Perfect location for a surf holiday. Supri and his entire staff were really friendly and made you feel like family. The food at the restaurant was so good we hardly left the place and you can sit in the bar or pool and check out the surf conditions.

All staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. Staff go out of their way to keep guests hydrated with continual top ups of ice water in the restaurant and by the pool. Nice touch.

Bombora is the best place I have stayed at in Bali. The service is first class, the staff are friendly and attentive, the rooms beautifully appointed, especially the upstairs sea view room, simply stunning! Bed was super comfortable, and quality linen. Beautiful pool and pool area. Exceptional food prepared by the chefs, who made sure my special dietary needs were met!

Nice location however very small rooms and no ventilation in the bathrooms. If you want a nice place close to Medewi break chose Umadewi with ocean view or poolside view. We changed to that hotel and it was much better. Bambora is good for lunch and hangout but not to stay there. Some details in the description was not true and we didnt recieve what was published on hotels.com Total: go across the street and stay at umadewi

Nice spot right on the beach with a clear view of the surf break. The staff are all very nice and helpful whenever needed. The room was comfortable and up to date. There are also several restaurants within five minutes walking distance so you can eat at different places, but you need transport to get to an ATM or food market. I would recommend a room facing the ocean. Bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper as the local mosque 5am prayer can be heard in some of the rooms.

Loved the location and the friendly staff. The room and view was lovely but personally I would prefer a firmer mattress and maybe a lower rate so I could stay longer. Thanks Bombora

This was our first stop in Bali & ended up being our favorite place. I am thankful my wife brought ear plugs, with Ramadan, the local mosques were blasting prayers at all hours. Our bed was very comfortable. We had a standard room on the street side so the ear plugs were nice with motorbikes showing up very early. Cocktails were weak. We didn't order any after the 1st happy hour & didn't notice anyone drinking them regularly (tip: make a good stiff cocktail and people will order them). The breakfast menu looked appetizing, the quality ingredients were noticable, but the preparation was off. Eggs were overcooked every morning that I ordered them. The hollandaise sauce came out like super yellow dried egg that was not runny at all & in globs. It's like it was from a can that had been open a few days or something. That said, play it safe with your breakfast choices because the menu looks really good but the food was not executed. The service was the best we had received in Bali though, and the staff did everything in their power to make sure we were happy. A+ for effort. The pool was super clean and the floating bean bags were an awesome touch. The locals ask where you are staying & clearly price their services based on the hotel your at so keep that in mind when negotiating. I highly recommend a massage from the 2 ladies in the beach shack when u exit the water from the fishing village. First shack from fishing village & best I got in Bali!

Fantastic place. Great location. Great staff. Really enjoyed my stay here. Excellent food and coffee. I came to surf the point so was not really worried about sight seeing in the local area. If tge swell is down and no surf tvere is not really much to do except chill by the pool, read and get a massage at the local beach warung There are some other options for food and meals in the cafes nearby, but I noticed that people not staying at Bombora regularly had breakfast and dinner here. You can sit at the Breakfast bar and check the surf. Perfect for a 3 to 6 day visit.

Very enjoyable stay, right on the coast, photos are very accurate with friendly we’ll trained staff. Excellent location to jump straight in the surf Nice long walk along the coastal track If your not surfing bring a book. Great food and good coffee at hotel

We had a great 4 days staying at Bombora. It is set up very professionally, attention to detail is excellent even down to fitness ball and yoga matts in rooms. The staff are superb, we travel regularly and have not come across staff any better. We had room 8, which I think is the best. Supri, the manager goes out of his way to ensure that everything goes well. If you are not a surfer a couple of nights would do you.. Although my wife was happy to chill by the pool and read.

We loved this hotel!! Only small which makes it so friendly with great staff. Beautiful rooms,amazing views soooo relaxing and the best longboard waves on the door step!!

Extrem freundliches Personal. Das Personal kümmert sich sehr gut um uns . Der Manager fuhr extra zur Apotheke uns etwas gegen den Sonnenbrand zu holen. Das Team ist mega freundlich und sobald du am Pool bist kommen Sie mit einen frischen Wasser und das wird unverzüglich nachgefüllt. Der Pool ist extrem Spitze. Du kannst den ganzen Tag den surfern zusehen. Ohne den touristenboom der sonst auf bali herscht. Ich würde das Hotel jeden empfehlen der gerne surfen geht und der wert auf das real bali legt. Bin insgesamt das dritte mal in bali und Bombora wave Lodge ist bis jetzt das beste Hotel das ich je hatte. Freu mich schon auf den nächsten Aufenthalt hier. Danke für alles.

Fantastic property right on the surf beach. Very comfortable rooms and the staff were super friendly. My only wish is that the food portions were a bit bigger, surfers get hungry.

We stayed at this hotel to be away from the busy city. The hotel is located very close to the beach (not sandy beach). The hotel and especially the staff were EXCELLENT and top marks to the staff. The sunset views over the Indian Oceans from the hotel was amazing. We organized couple of tours from here which were great. So to relax and unwind, I would recommend this hotel. On the negative side, the area is not well developed and is limited on restaurant choices.

Superbe hotel

The only really downside is the time getting there from the airport, however once there, you really couldn't complain if you love to relax and enjoy good food, and if you are a surfer there is a perfect spot just out front, and for the partners of those surfers it is an idea spot to take photos/videos of them surfing, the rooms are what you see in the photos comfortable beds, unreal pillows, the staff are wonderful, very helpful and friendly, the food was great, however if you wish, there are other places to eat just a short walk up the street, good food as well, no real shopping for the girls, well not walking distance anyway. We would go back in a heart beat, we stayed for 7 days, I could of stayed longer, I love doing nothing except a book in one hand and a drink in the other, and watching the old boy surf, just perfect for us

Amazing hotel offering the complete package.

Excellent stay at Bombora Medewi Wavelodge. Price is definitely entiiled. Our room was big and comfortible. We had our own balcony with ocean view and a welcome fruit basket. The ocean view pool was my personal highlight. I enjoyed watching at my boyfriends surf. Service was really good and the staff is friendly and courteous. Especially Novi Yanti from the reception was a friendly and nice girl. After Check-out they allowed us to stay at pool and restaurant for three more hours. We were really sad that they were fully bookes so that we couldn't stay one more night longer at this beautiful hotel. But we will come back!

Beautiful little peace of heaven in the tranquility of rice fields and roosters

This location is a good surf spot and the hotel is ideally positioned. All you do in Medewi is surf, eat and sleep. If that's what you want, then this hotel is perfect.
