Lovely breakfast, friendly staff.

Room was a bit worn- wall paper coming off the walls. Only one very plain biscuit per guest.

Breakfast was outstanding. Lovely food and lovely atmosphere

Altough the bar was busy and new staff where being trained i still found the service very slow had to chsse up getting a menu for deseret then nobody came back to get arder after about 30mins again i had to go find someone to take order. Didnt spoil the night as we where not in a hurry and i understand new staff need trained but could have been a few more experainced staff on to help the few that were rushed of their feet trying to keep customers happy while helping the new starts. Overall food was excellant and in previous visits service has been excellant so i know this is an issue which could happen anythere when new staff are being trained did not put us of returnin

Room was ok but a bit old, beds are small and not super comfortable. Try to not book on a bingo day...

The staff were very welcoming and helpful and allowed us to get access to the rooms earlier than originally planned. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the bar/restaurant facilities were excellent.

L'albergo e' una struttura datata, la camera era allestita con un arredamento cameretta bambino anni '70. Il bagno era inguardabile con un lavandino talmente piccolo che era inutilizzabile, con una vasca rattoppata. Plastica a protezione del materasso. All'arrivo ci hanno fatto firmare un delibera che ci sarebbe stata della musica fino all'una e l'accettavamo. Ho trovato tutto allucinante tranne la signorina alla reception che e' stata sorridente e disponibile.

Very noisy (rooms 102 and 103) due to music by a DJ in bar from 10 pm to 1 am. We were told there would be music on check-in but wasn't expecting the loudness. Cooked breakfast was very nice. The buffet section was limited but sufficient.

Stayed in a suite, absolutely stunning!! Far exceeded expectations. Food was also good & the restaurant was nice & quiet

Big shoutout to Cillian & Daisy, I was staying to surprise a friend for her birthday. I left baloons, champagne, decor, & a cake in very safe hands. They decorated the room for us, & made sure my stay was stress free & very comfortable. A very warm & welcoming atmosphere, & a great night was had celebrating.

The rooms are fantastic, so clean, beds so comfortable and the food is exceptional. The staff cannot do enough for you to make your stay the best in a little small town and it’s like walking into your local day after day and everyone knows you and will tend to you no questions asked. The toilets in the bar area are some of the cleanest and I really cannot fault anything about this hotel. Daisy the receptionist couldn’t of done anymore for us and Cillian, Robert, Chris and Alex were the best

The staff are so welcoming and Kilkeel is a super town to explore. The Mourne scenery is second to none. The Hotel is comfortable and clean, and the food is delicious.

When arrived when went too room bed broke changed rooms straight away too be fair.New room put in needs updated.Wall paper was peeled away and had just been painted over,rust visible on bathroom radiators,curtain pole lopsided,tap in bathroom no top cover room diff needs updated compared too the facilities downstairs

Enjoyed a 60th birthday party with 24 members of our family at the Kilmorey Arms yesterday and everything was fantastic! The young members of staff were all brilliant and a credit to the hotel. We had the carvery and food was delicious, couldn’t fault it. One of our party is a vegan and the kitchen staff did a fabulous choice of starter, main and desert! Thanks very much everyone!

Booked the Kilgore hotel for myself and my mam and dad. Good price, excellent service from all the staff, from Natasha with booking, to bar staff and serving staff (Nora and Saunders). Rooms comfortable, and a great spot to meet family again who live in kilkeel

A church group of 16 ladies dined in the Kilmorey Arms yesterday evening13/06/2026 and we had the most wonderful wholesome food served beautifully and punctually, piping hot! The staff were so friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend the Kilmorey Arms hotel for dining.

Just had a wonderful steak meal in the Kilmorey tonight. The steaks were done exactly to our liking and were delicious! The staff were well trained, polite and attentive. Well done to the Kilmorey Arms!

There were a number of private parties connected with the parades. This was fine but meant the hotel bars were packed. My room was fine but “down a couple of wee steps” turned out to be down ten steep steps.

Very friendly and helpful staff. I was there with my parents and they had left chocolates for my mums birthday in the room. The food in the bar and room service was fantastic , can not fault it at all!

Location is ok for travelling to nearby tourist areas but the town of kilkeel is very quiet with nothing much to do.

Everyone in the hotel were exceptional. We arrived really late that evening and the staff there were so helpful they ordered us food as it was after 10pm when we arrived. The next day we were late checking out and the staff were so helpful. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in.

The receptionist was very attentive and helpful. When she saw we were traveling with a toddler she put us in a quiet room not to be disturbed by music. Food was lovely in the bar for dinner. Staff were lovely overall.

Awful. When I complained to the manager the incident of sectarian abuse I received she replied with and what do you want me to do about it. I will never be back I kilkeel again never mind the Kilmory Arms.

The accommodation and area wasn’t the best, also there was a wedding event on so the loud music didn’t stop vibrating the room until the early morning.

Comfy bed clean room and good breakfast

The history, cosy atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff; all combined to impress me from check-in to check-out. I slept soundly in a large comfortable bed and in the morning they served me a choice of a big vegetarian or meat-lover’s breakfast. Simply superb! Well done to the team at Kilmorey Arms Hotel ! My Mood Compass will no doubt draw me back there again soon.

The Girl on front desk was lovely I called in had a chat about putting balloon etc in my Grandma's room and that wasn't a problem she also sent them a wee dessert on the house for her birthday which they said was delicious thank you again forgot to get the girls name

It was a pretty enough spot. The building is old but recently redone it seems. Located close to the bus route that we used. Front desk staff helpful and pleasant. Food was very good but service a bit slow/odd (our waiter basically disappeared near the end and I had to go find someone else). But a few things to know… the heating is either on or off with no way to individually control it. It was overheated in our room so we had them turn it off. Since it was fall it worked ok, but I’m sure in winter that could be an issue. There were not plugs by both the beds, so one of went without using our CPAP. The plugs were under the desk, a couple more clustered in a corner near the wardrobe in the corner and one lone one by one of the beds. The bathroom had no plug (except one up high over the sink for shavers only). We were promised chocolate and prosecco but just got the wine. There was one place to put one suitcase but the second person had to use the desk chair for their suitcase. There was confusion on our bill for the restaurant at the last minute… a drink added we did not have and charges for food that was supposed to be included. It got straightened out but good thing we asked about it as we would have been charged 10 pounds or more extra. So as I said-mixed. First world problems I know but added up it was a bunch of little annoyances for what was supposed to be a restful break in travel.

From the moment we walked into the hotel we were warmly greeted and really felt the staff appreciated our being there. Everyone was friendly. We ate 2 dinners and 2 lunches in the restaurant. The food was excellent. The room was very clean and suited our needs. We have been travelling in Ireland for two weeks and this stay was one of the hi-lights of our trip.

Breakfast was really good, plenty of choice to suit all tastes. The room where it was served was very pleasant, more intimate than the dining room. Much nicer than the dining room. The staff were very attentive and helpful.

Only problem we had was the room we were in seemed to be above the extractor fans. We could not open the window due to the smell which was quite unpleasant. As it was only two nights it was bearable.

Staff were amazing, very pleasant, every one of them showed willingness to help and did their jobs with a smile on their faces. Had a beautiful meal in the restaurant (get the haddock and chips - it's incredible!) Breakfast was also lovely. Will definitely stay again.

Hotel was very loud with the bar being downstairs. Hotel is on the main road - if windows are open the noise is too loud, if window is closed room too warm. Chose specifically Sunday as stated there was no live music, but music is played late.

Had our daughter's 18th party in KA , a fantastic night , with excellent service all round , from floor staff , bar staff , doormen , and chefs ! The rooms are super comfy and spotless .. a fantastic evening , and enjoyable stay !

First time in this hotel and will stay again. Recieved a phonecall from staff member Lindsey on our way to notify us of a road closure so to ensure our journey didn't take us longer than expected. Got to hotel in good time and made very welcome by friendly staff. We booked a table in bar and food was lovely. Lovely clean hotel throughout and all staff friendly even cleaner checking with us that all was to our satisfaction. We will definitely stay again.

Had a really superb stay at this fine hotel. Everything was of the highest quality and we had a lovely time watching the well disciplined band parade which we were lucky to witness just as icing on the cake.

Hotel very run down. Small things in room. No fridge. Hairs on bed. Very stuffy. Had two windows but so noisy with traffic outside constant so you couldn’t really leave them open. Floors extremely creaky. There are two options for food. Bar or restaurant. Same menu. Terrible slow service the first night in the bar for food and drink. Second night completely different. Excellent service. Shout out to Killian the restaurant manager. He was brilliant.

Hi we have used the killmorey arms in Killkeel many times in the past and has always been a pleasant experience but our latest visit was far from this the food was average not what we expected from this hotel but the food was not the part of the visit that was the problem was the service. The staff were not attentive our food was brought out very slowly some not what was ordered and long delays from main to sides in total it must have taken 15 minutes to get are table all served we had to ask a few times for water and a unpleasant young man just grunted and left no one came to ask was everything OK I truly expected much more from this restaurant and I hope you learn from my comments. This was our first time eating here and it did not disappoint. Plenty of choice on the menus and reasonable prices. The food was fab when it arrived. The staff was also lovely but a special mention to a young fella called Cillian. His service was unreal for such a young person. He was lovely with every person that was dining and had a smile all the time. An absolute asset to this restaurant
