The host was amazing so helpful and friendly as were the staff, would definitely go back there 😀

Considering the the location of the town, away from the main tourist routes, we were pleasantly surprised by the accommodation, the personal attention of Rosie and the many surprising facilities, for example safe off street parking, electric blankets, excellent beds, spacious building, many paintings and artistic artifacts, plus of course the very nice old style breakfast (after enquiring when, what and how it should be prepared). THANKS!!

The kids loved the garden. Electrical blankets were on. My wife felt like it was one of the best places we have stayed, they thought of everything. Amazing value for money.

wir hatten das ganze Haus für uns. Sehr gemütlich eingerichtet, Heizdecke im Bett😊 wir durften auch die Küche benutzen und am morgen wurde uns ein Frühstück serviert. Elzette war super nett und hat uns sehr geholfen.

Eerder beperkt ontbijt. Ligt in een desolaat gebied maar wel geschikt als tussenstop tussen ado en Oudtshoorn. Voor de rest weinig te doen in de regio.

Easy to find after good contact from Rosie who was awaiting our arrival. Large secure parking area. Spacious room with all advertised facilities and a nice private shaded outside space with Braii. Additional seating at a the pool area close to the main house. Very comfortable bed. Effective air conditioning and a TV set up with all channels listed for ease of use. Rosie left us an insect repellent to protect us whilst enjoying our evening Braii and because of a recent local issue with regard to the water supply she left a large container of fresh water so we didn't need to use the tap water. Large breakfast area at the main house where we had fruit and yoghurt following which Rosie freshly cooked an excellent hot breakfast. Cute main street in Steytlerville but we didn't explore locally as were only staying 1 night. Rosie's place was perfect for us.

It is a lovely old house with lots of character and a beautiful garden. The room was cosy and comfortable and the lounge, dining area made one feel at home. Rosie, the host was very kind and helpful and the breakfast delicious. Awesome place for a solo traveller like myself.

Rosie and her place were accommodating and cosy. She added a personal touch by meeting us on arrival and seeing us of when we left. The shared dining/ living room was inviting and had an interesting combination of furniture to make it feel homely and inviting. The breakfast was super nice and just to our taste. Safe parking for both our car and motorbike trailer was an added bonus and the garden was beautifully maintained and a feast for the eye.

The atmosphere and history of the villa is great. The gardens are a delight. The entire property exudes peace and calm. The rooms are large with big beds and impeccable linens. Your host Rosie, makes sure your stay will be memorable

Lovely warm welcome, we had the very comfortable family suite in which we had a very good nights sleep.

The friendly welcome, and how at home we felt was the highlight of our short stay. The room was well appointed with quality linen and comfortable beds. The bathroom was spotless and well designed. We have already recommended Steytlerville Villa to friends travelling in that direction.

Beautiful, air-conditioned rooms (which is NB in Steytlerville in the summer). Nice location and friendly staff. We only stayed one night, but we thoroughly enjoyed it and would definitely stay again.

Reception by Rosie was friendly down to earth it felt like we were in the country and it's beautiful hospitality. The staff were great, breakfast was good wholesome.

The swimming pool in the Karoo midsummer heat. The friendly, courteous and always helpful staff. The immaculately clean facilities. And the breakfast thrown in made the whole stay extremely good value. And Steytlerville is a revelation, with the wide double-laned main street, not a scrap of litter visible, the impressive NG Church, and intriguing touches like the coats of arms of local families along the main street. There is a general 'livable' feel about the place.

Charming, just like the pics, shady trees, Rosie was so helpful. The nearby restaurant was great as was breakfast at Rosie’s.

Quiet, no tv, walking distance from shops, honesty bar, swimming pool clean and private, meals had value for money, sufficient parking, beautiful scenery and friendly staff. Owner made immediate assistance for firearms too.

Wish we could stay longer!

Rosie was so welcoming and gave us loads of information about the area. The Villa is within walking distance of all the little gems the town has to offer. There is an inverter at the property, so we didn't have to worry about load-shedding and/or our safety as a result. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Although we were the only guests, we were treated to a lovely home-cooked breakfast in the morning, at a time that suited us. The lounge area is huge and there are lots of magazines, books and board games to keep any visitor entertained. The garden is beautiful!

Very friendly welcoming host. Pristine karoo garden. Well stocked honesty bar. Well priced. Nice shower with pressure and clean shower rose. Well equipped kitchen. Nice jazz sounds! Could have stayed a few extra days. Will definitely visit again. Rosie is a super host.

We were welcomed by Rosie the owner. She made us feel at home. The room had everything we needed, especially the electric blankets! A fantastic english breakfast waited the next morning.

Just a suggestion to put a lighter or matches handy in the room, in case lamps need to be lit.

Rosie is a great host and her place lacks for absolutely nothing. From perfect wi fi ,to gas heaters, to braai facilities and utensils, and Dstv......this place has it all,.....including a comprehensive and tasty full breakfast. Oh,....forgot to mention the fact that it also has inverters for these terrible blackouts forced on us by the ANC.

We really just needed a place to stay for the night and the Villa was more than we expected. Beautiful garden and our room was equally great. The breakfast was a bonus.

The warm welcome we received. Made us feel like home. Beautiful garden where you can enjoy a braai. Enjoy some time in the swimming pool and read your best book on the veranda.

The single beds place together in our room. Would love a double bed

A beautifully decorated, welcoming place with great attention to detail. Everything was thought of and provided to make our stay very comfortable. Our host, Rosie, was friendly and informative. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast and made use of the refreshing swimming pool.

For our preference the beds were a little too soft but they were made up in crisp, clean linen and the room was very inviting.

Every effort put in to make us feel as comfortable as possible. A major positive for us was that even though the town has intermittent water access, the guest house provided reasonably consistent access to tank water, which was a relief.

Beautiful guest house with everything we needed as a family and a very warm reception from Rosie. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Couldnt be better. Absolute value for money with a delicious breakfast to boot.
