Great stay! Breakfast is continental with cooked to order eggs available with daily changing smoothie. Clean and neat property. Airport shuttle was a plus. Property owner very friendly and helpful. Few overall trip notes: -“Taxi service” around the island is a challenge, be prepared to wait -DreamTours offers great island tours -Henua Market great for groceries and snacks -Great souvenirs at the airport and at the end of the National Park at Rua Toki-Toki.

This is a simple but comfortable hotel, with a good breakfast and very good customer service. We rented bicycles one day and scooters another day, and were able to see the whole island

For the cost of this hotel, we expected a lot more. We were picked up late and were the only people that didn’t receive a lei from all the tourists that arrived at the airport and were picked up by several other hotels. Easter Island is beautiful and there’s lots to do but I wouldn’t stay at the same place. The bathroom had mold and the fan was very dirty and didn’t work well. The staff was pleasant.

This charming boutique hotel is located on a quiet property not far from the airport. The staff members are very kind and helpful. The breakfast and coffee are very good. It is over a mile to downtown area and the beach. We were able to walk there without any problems. There are some restaurants and markets on the way to downtown. The staff can also get taxi for the guests. There is a pretty steep wooden staircase to go upstairs at the hotel. If one has any issue with that, you may want to request a room on the first floor. We enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you!

This property was at least a 30 minute walk into town. Windows had no screens, thus mosquitos at night. Many dogs howling and roosters crowing throughout the night. No door between bedroom and bathroom.

Property is slightly away from downtown - renting a car is recommended if you wish to be able to move around the city and the island at your leisure. Property is very cozy, super clean, quiet and met all of our expectations !

Staff was very friendly and flexible

AVOID booking any tours with the hotel, they provided us with a VERY INEXPERIENCED guide (his role was merely to let us into the park, he couldn't say anything interesting about any of the sites we visited) This completely killed the mood for our trip. You're much better off finding a local guide at the SerNaTur office in town.

Was charged $70 for extra mattress on the floor. Sheets were dirty. Room was moldy. After 3pm no staff available. No water or option to obtain after 3. Pictures didn't match hotel.

Far from downtown

I'm so glad I went to the island and this hotel was a good choice. All the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. There was plenty of hot water for showering. The wifi at the hotel was actually reasonable - I believe they have Starlink connected. I was able to have video calls with only slight interruptions during a heavy downpour. A cold breakfast was included with different breads, juices, and cold cuts. The hotel is a 20-45 minute walk to most of the stores/museums in town. On the days I had scheduled tours, tour guides picked me up and dropped me off. On the other days, I walked into town and was prepared for intermittent rain showers. I would guess that most people would want to rent a car if traveling often between this hotel and the city proper. I saw a couple of local (not international) car rental places in the middle of the city. The traffic is moderate and subdued, so I wouldn't hesitate to rent a car if I were to visit again. There are dogs and roosters that make noise regularly all over the island. You can shut the windows and filter some of the noise out. There are steep stairs inside with irregular depths and heights you'll want be careful on. There's a nice loft area upstairs with couches and a TV.

A chair and small desk would have been really nice to have in the room although I certainly understand that it might be hard to find space based on the room dimensions.

Hotel has a great localisation. I was warmly and nicely welcomed (with flower neckles - it was so lovely!), shuttle service from airport was complimentary. Contact with hosts was great and easy: they are very helpful and easy going. Room was clean, with beautiful view and nice facilities. Breafast was modest but fresh and good.

Lack of AC - a bit disappointing especially during hot evening, but still acceptable.

Great host who gives me all information about the island and what to do and not to do. It is great that I have airport transfer. Also they response time for my question and booking some activities for me was exceptional. Also not to forget surrounding of property was beautiful.

The staff is very friendly and helpful in all matters, excellent breakfast, the tour through the Moai sites with the owner was excellent. Very good value, also in helping to connect with good guides to a fair price.

To walk to Hanga Roa is quite far, but you anyhow better rent a car to get around the island independently. The rooms upstairs are poorly soundproofed.

Staff very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was outstanding and to be fair they couldn’t do enough for you. I think this little hotel are trying their best to make people enjoy their stay. The walk into town was about 25-30mins.

I hadn’t realised that in the evening there wasn’t anywhere near where you could get a drink unless you walked into town. The hotel did leave a flask of hot water and some tea bags/coffee so you could help yourself. I think it would be a great improvement if they had drinks which you could purchase in the morning to put in your fridge for your return.

Excellent place to stay in Rapa Nui. Clean, free airport pick up and drop off. Very fast satellite WIFI (Starlink) allowing me to work and have work calls. Friendly management. I would definitely stay at Ula Mana again.

The property was recently renovated but the dining space for breakfast would be inadequate if the hotel was more than one third full. This hotel should be advertised as a Bread and Breakfast and not a Boutique Hotel. The breakfast service was inconsistent from morning to morning. The hotel advertises dinner service cooked on site but the portions are very tiny, the menu selection is sparse, the food quality could not compare with downtown restaurants and the price is totally over the top. Most of the time that I was there, I was the guest and was able to leave the room door open for ventilation with the evening winds blowing through the room. If there were other guests at the hotel, cooling the room would be done by a floor standing fan which was very loud.

Nice and clean hotel. Rooms are fine. It is a long walk to town….25 minutes. Not 15 min as we expected. The breakfast that is included is really lacking. Some mornings just one slice of turkey, tomatoes and tiny fruit cup. I gave eggs to the cook two times so we could have eggs. Last day they said we could drop rental at airport. Not possible so we had to take a taxi from rental agency.

Not a 'hotel'; this is a hostel. Bring food!! half-hour walk to stores/restaurants; most closed on Sunday. Snacks available at 7pm, but staff leaves at 3pm; so no actual snacks. Some rooms have a fridge; not all do. No hot water for coffee. Uneven stairs: older and visually impaired people should not stay here.

Enjoyed our stay here for a week. We were traveling with another couple. Uka Mana has a lovely common area with couches and a large tv (which we did not watch but it is there). It was a great place to get together each day with our friends and unwind and enjoy our happy hour drinks together. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful. Yes, it is a bit of a walk into the town but the terrain is flat so an easy walk. Or a taxi is $5 - $6US. We had a small refrigerator in the room. Plenty of hot water. Wifi was accessible from our room which was really nice. Electricity goes out for a few minutes now and then - but this happens all over the island and was never an issue.

Le personnel de l'hotel est bienveillant et met tout en oeuvre pour notre bien etre Par contre l'hotel est mal equipe ( pas de chaise, 1 table de chevet, pas de moyen pour suspendre les vetements, pas de porte aux WC, pas de fenetre dans notre chambre hormis celle de la salle de bain). L'hotel est tres loin du centre et une voiture est indispensable. Si vous rajoutez 45000 a 55000 chp au prix de la chambre, il vaut mieux pour ce prix un hotel plus au centre. Nous sommes decus de la prestation compte-tenu du prix paye.

You should never expect to contact the staff. Do not book the hotel unless you can make sure you will be 100 percent satisfied with this place, or they will deducte All you have paid!!! Even you have tried to contact them by both yourself and Orbits before the reschedule deadline, there is no response at all. They won’t help you address the problem but deducte your money unreasonably.

This property is not a Hotel - it's like a bed&"breakfast" (but you don't always get breakfast) - The owner Paula is nice, however since we spent 4 nights, we could see that management is not on top of this business. Good: they provide transportation from and to the airport. It's nicely decorated. Bad: Hotel is far from the center of the town (20 minutes walk to get to the main street) The bathroom has no door, the shower has no curtain. There is no TV or radio inside the room. Sometimes no internet service and usually there is nobody at reception. Towels and bed sheets are not changed everyday. By day 2 the towels already smelled. During our stay, we got to the hotel around 5pm and nobody was at reception. We wanted to call a taxi later on to go to town but there was no internet. We went to bed and the next day we didn't see anybody and no breakfast was available. I think we were the only guests. The owner came around 11am and assured us that next day her employee would be there to take care of breakfast. Next day came - her employee was not there and there was no breakfast. If you want to enjoy Easter Island, you should book a hotel in the Center or no more than 5 minutes walk - We don't recommend this bed&breakfast

Hotel Uka Mana is a lovely, quite place. We were picked up promptly from the airport and given a brief tour of the town. The hotel was extremely clean which we appreciated. Two of the receptionist spoke very good English. No one else spoke English so be prepared. The hotel is about a 25 minute walk to town. We rented a dirt bike to motor around. It was the perfect solution for our journey into town when we wanted to eat!!

We had an excellent stay at Uka Mana. Our hosts couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful on our whirlwind tour of the island. In particular both Claudio and Francisca helped us cram as much in as possible providing useful hints, tips and organising transport for the island. The hotel itself has a homely, quirky vibe to it. It’s in a lovely quiet spot, the main sounds coming from the elements. Breakfast is basic, but exactly what’s needed to fuel up to start a day of exploring. Thouroughly enjoyed it, and the only complaint was our trip was too short.

Nice cosy house with multiple rooms(not a hotel perse). Rooms does not have ac, tv nor toiletrries. Highly recommend to bring your own personnal hygiene accesories as well as purchase snacks and beverages before going to your room. Great place if your only looking for somewhere to sleep only.

The original room they assigned to us was leaking water from the ceiling. The second room we were given was a lot better. Nonetheless we could use more table or flat area to put our stuff, as well as hooks to hang our jackets, etc. Location of hotel was not ideal. It is a 25 minutes walk to town, and hotel only had sandwiches.

Hotel muy agradable. La familia dueña es muy acogedora y dispuesta a ayudar en todo lo que se necesite. El lugar está retirado del centro y no hay nada en los alrededores, pero caminando unos 20 minutos llegas al centro y los taxis por poco menos de 2 dólares te llevan a todas partes. Lo mejor de este Hotel, son sus dueños y administradores

Dieses Hotel hat nicht ganz meinen Ansprüchen genügt. Es gab kein warmes Wasser und das Zimmer war sauber aber ohne Fenster. Um einen längeren Urlaub dort zu verbringen würde ich eine andere Kategorie von Unterkunft wünschen

Remote Hotel about 2.5km from main area. Unless you have transport, walking will be required to get around. If you want quiet then this is the place for you though. Airport pickup and drop off is included as well as breakfast.

El personal es muy amable, te buscan en el aeropuerto y te llevan cuando te vas, desayuno sencillo pero rico, la habitación muy cómoda y muy buena ubicación.

My stay was short but it was relaxing. The hotel is located outside of center town in a quiet area. Nathalie was very helpful with driving me to and from the airport, giving me a little tour of the town with tips on where to eat and shop, and what to see and do.

Great place to stay on Easter Island. They picked us up at the airport and gave us a short tour of downtown to give us our bearings. Very helpful- great tour recommendations. Very pleasant stay.

Picked up at the airport and given a quick tour of the downtown area. Streets are not named so remembering all the turns was a bit difficult. The room was very hot, we were given a fan the next night. There are no screens on the windows so everything has to be closed to keep the mosquitoes out. Walking into town is difficult if you are not in good shape. A taxi ride is necessary for getting to and from the hotel. The receptionist is very nice and helpful, she helped us set up tours and got us in touch with a taxi driver which we used several times during our stay.

If you are feeling adventurous and want to risk not having warm water for a couple of days, don't mind smashed mosquitos on tha wall and don't mind the roof leaking, I would recommend this place, If not, I would chose another place to stay.

Es un hotel acogedor, muy buenas habitaciones, la cama es muy cómoda, la vista que tuvimos fue increíble! Mareva es muy amable, atenta y ayuda con todo lo necesario para disfrutar de la Isla, estuvo super pendiente de nosotros en todo momento. Los desayunos son fantásticos. Nos alquilaron auto y teníamos opción de moto y bicicleta, realmente es un hotel encantador para estar en RapaNui.

El hotel es súper nuevo, tiene pocas habitaciones (creo que 9) y está ubicado a 15 minutos de caminata al centro. Es un hotel con grato ambiente familiar, muy amables todos los que trabajan. Van a buscarte y dejarte al aeropuerto, darte tips y lugares para conocer además de muy rico desayuno. Ideal para ir en familia. Además es ecológico y sustentable, calienta agua con paneles solares. Me encanto!!!!! Espero volver

We stayed at Uka Mana last week. Paula and her staff were excellent hosts. They were extremely nice and accomodating. We booked our room at the last minute and she still made it to the airport to pick us up. She even showed us around town and took us to this amazing restaurant by the beach called Tataku Vave. The house is newly constructed and has very comfortable beds and nice bathrooms with hot showers. The scenery from the house is great as well. The area is very quiet, we were able to sleep like babies there. The breakfast was basic, bread, cheese, meat, juice and coffee but it did the trick. We rented a car to see the sites and it was perfect. Great place, can't wait to come back.
