It was a great place in the nature The views were astonishing ,and the quiet in the place, make you here the water took when it is dropped from the mountain to the valley, and the sound of the birds Make you fly to the sky, only problem and challenging the same time the way to the place thank you very much .
I was quite disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The description mentioned WiFi, but there was no WiFi available everywhere in the hotel. They also claimed to have parking, but in reality, they only offer a pick-up service from a public parking lot that is 30 MAD a day. Unfortunately, when we tried to use this service, no one answered our calls, and we had to walk over 1 km to reach the hotel. Additionally, the suite was advertised as having two twin beds, but they were actually sofa beds. So, you either get sofa beds or a living room—not both as expected. Overall, the experience did not live up to what was promised.
Un havre de paix. Genialissime.
Top locatie
Outstanding place for full relaxation and excellent food and truly it is a getaway place that you can learn and master the art of doing nothing. No internet no TV just enjoy the moment I loved it
Immersion totale dans une nature magnifique
Surrounding Nature and view were perfect
Alles is perfect
False advertising. Very disappointing to find out that all spa facilities were closed, there is not a lot to do apart from relaxing, it is advertised that WiFi is only in common areas, however there’s no service for your phone (4G) which should also be advertised as you cannot even make calls, so you would at least expect there to be other activities and facilities for their guests. When we arrived, we were expecting to use their pool and Spa Facilities especially because we’re in the middle of nowhere and we were met with everything being out of service to use except massage which they only had a man to do. You’d think in a country such as Morocco, there would be women to give massages to women. When asked why we were not informed, they said “it’s written on our Instagram”. We booked on Expedia, what makes you think we’re checking your Instagram? The cherry on top of the cake is the breakfast being extremely basic, hard bread and basic minimal options. Otherwise, the views were dreamy. Absolutely beautiful, waking up to birds tweeting and flowers growing everywhere, plants and vegetables growing. It was so so beautiful. The night seating with fairy lights under the trees and tents were stunning and very relaxing.
Such an amazing place to stay. Ideal for someone interested in hiking. Would definitely recommend.
A quiet mountain refuge inside a national park, with great options to hike, close enough to Chefchauen that you could visit while having to deal with all the rush of visitors and commerce. Great place to slow down and enjoy quiet times.
It was amazing. A very good place to escape the city. People are friendly. The place is very clean and unique as a concept.
Beautiful surroundings
Nice place to relax and connect with nature. Beautiful vista, fresh air and nice people all around!
It was a beautiful place set aside in the mountains. Very peaceful, and quiet. It was a great escape from everyday life. Very relaxing. I would go back again anytime. The rooms were very clean and the food at the restaurant was fantastic.
Juste magnifique !
thr nature the service every thing
Danke! Ich werde wieder kommen. LG, Amal
Absolute heaven on earth
Heaven on earth! Loved everything here, food, rooms, the private waterfall, really amazing. However, it would’ve been nice to know about parking beforehand (that we had to park off property and call the driver to get us to the hotel) and to bring mosquito spray.
I had a wonderful stay with my family here. The staff were exceptionally helpful and the service provided were great. They are very helpful in booking the taxis and arranging tour guides. I will definitely be staying here again. Thank you to everyone who helped us during our stay.
We had a nice stay at the L'Ermitage, the room was clean with complimentary water provided and the bathroom neatly stocked with a working hair dryer. Our view was excellent and walking around the property at night was very pleasant with little pockets of unique seating areas that lit up. Wacima was delightful and helped us with our check in and transfer needs, she was very friendly and even said hello at dinner time. The food was decent. Overall a great experience and relaxful retreat from typical riad and medina stays. The two hikes are very easy to access from this property and we got some helpful advice from the staff.
Was amazing ! Totally recommended Beautiful place, amazing nature and very friendly and hospitable team
Isolated, secure, luxurious, well located getaway. It is suitable for people looking for an experience living in the nature. You will stay in condos situated within the woods between water streams coming from akchure waterfalls.
Absolutely heavenly place for rest and relaxing ! Beautifuly appointed, great food and staff.
Amazing place!!!!
We liked the chalets and how clean they were. The exterior and interior design were amazing. The bathroom was so spacious. The nature around the hotel is breathtaking. We didn’t like there was no wi-fi in the chalets only in the restaurant. And no venting hood in the bathroom. And no insects mesh in the windows.
The restaurant staff and menu were not very accommodating for vegetarians. This could be improved, with obvious vegetarian choices being made available on the menu. We encourage you to consider this, as other things about the hotel and environs are excellent, but this area is lacking.
Lovely environment, great staff who tried very hard to make everything wonderful for our stay. Cabins are cosy. Would say this is almost eco friendly but they could work on replacing single use plastic bottles & amenities & not sure about energy usage supply. The dining and communal areas are great - food quite expensive by Moroccan standards but you’re paying for the environment & service. I would recommend this place for somebody wanting to visit Akchour for the hiking.
The hotel was amazing! It’s very secluded and cozy with a natural beauty and surroundings. I stayed two nights and we loved it! The staff were great rabi3, yassir, driss, fouad and the lady running the kitchen (she was very kind to not charge us for a meal we substituted). We run into the Owner and was very nice and explained a bit of the cultural and historical aspects of the place. If you are looking to relax, chill, and explore nature and close by city of chefchaoun then look no further 👍 We picked swedish cabin
Overall great, beautiful site. There is still a way to go for improvement in rooms regarding basic practicability.Including billing if you use the restaurant . The staff is very nice
Parking not free while we are pay 💰 1500 drahms per night and no fridge available at location
Unique View and it was so calm and peaceful :)
Extra ordinary experience, very good hotel in remote area, need little improvement. Some smell in the rooms
The view was amazing, the staff are friendly and the chalets are wonderful
It was a beautiful stay. The hotel staff and even the locals were very friendly. The breakfast could’ve been a bit better but it wasn’t bad ether. Overall I really enjoyed my stay. And the hike was the best part. I would definitely want to stay here again. The views were astonishing.
Everything is perfect and beyond expectation except that there are some small insects that need a day cleanse that makes sleep is difficult
Our room smelt bad de bed sheets are not Cleend And the pick up from the parking took two hours. IT was very hot And the next morning was the breakfast not ready And was very poor. No fruit no yoghurt no cornflakes And we found a hair in our eggs.
This property is located in a very beautiful location. Surrounded by mountains, running water, it is quiet and the trees are visited by amazing birds. If you need a box of wood to rest for a day no more...then yes, it is ok. But they lack all basic structures of hospitality and they are confused and very badly equipped and their building is really manny and everything you sit on isbokd and greasy and has cigarette holes...insulting to the nature around it ....like there a baby cresh at reception....are they serious ????? There are bags of cement used to block water to create...”swimming pools”...ahhh so ugly...so so ugly!
Wonderfully relaxing. Only complaint I have is that the property is difficult to get to.
Most luxurious and beautiful hotel I've ever stayed in. Exciting way to get to hotel either by hiking, truck or donkey. Amazingly attentive staff with personalized services.
The location is fantastic. Cleanliness, staff behaviour excellent. They struggled though for providing variet of food. The wifi only working in the dining area.
The rooms themselves are standard wooden huts. It was rather disappointing that a double bed was squeezed in the top quarter of the ceiling with a very tight spiral ladder leading up to it. The bed was positioned so that once at the top you can view all persons below - it covered about the top half of the ceiling. An additional room is needed for this double bed or at least build the huts so that the ceilings are higher so that there is space once on the second ‘storey’ for someone to move about without having to crawl or band their heads! It was very claustrophobic up there! the two single beds on the ground floor were comfortable & nicely furnished. Initial welcome at the hotel was nice but rather than the staff telling us we should have called them to send us a car to pick us up from the main Taxi stop at Akchour ( Cars can only go a certain distance before having to park & the rest of the distance has to be covered by foot due to narrow winding mountain roads!) the hotel or expedia should have contacted us beforehand to inform us of this service! With baggage this distance was rather tiring unfortunately! Other than that service was acceptable - one particular gentleman named Sami was super friendly & helpful & catered to our every need! Service at breakfast was poor - we turned up first morning & were ignored, two other families turned up after us & were served before us. We were served without asking us what we wanted to eat! The location & garden made up for this all!
