You will receive an email with your door codes and instructions for check-in on the morning of your arrival. You will need these to get into the building and check in.
The property's facade will undergo a façade renovation from the 1st of August until the 22nd of December 2025. During this, the windows + balcony in rooms facing the street will be covered. The works will not take place in the early hours, late evenings or on the weekends. The hostel remains open as usual during the renovations.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. 订这家旅舍时，我知道可以免费寄存行李。所以我订了这家旅舍。我9月13日早上6点到达赫尔辛基，以为可以将行李寄存在这家旅舍。我给这家旅舍预留的电话打了两次电话没人接。我写邮件告诉他们希望告之我入住政策永免费寄存行李。在没收到邮件回复的前提下，为了不影响当天的行程，我去赫尔辛基中央火车站办了12小时的行李寄存。在8点31分时我收到旅舍的回复告之我在9点之后可以办理行李寄存。建议提前一天告之旅行者免费寄存行李的时间段。让旅行者合理安排行程。

Reviewed Sep 16, 2026Impeccable clean and modern. The room is spacious and sufficient. A 7 minute walk from the bus station and another 7 minutes are you are near an internal lake and very near the sea. And the price is better than okay, especially good value. Haapsalu is one of the most wonderful places I have ever visited in my over twenty years of bumbling about. That is if you are an outdoor, walking, enjoying nature type of person. Small but complete.

Reviewed Sep 9, 2026Insgesamt war es okay, mehr aber auch nicht. Die Badezimmer waren etwas runter gekommen und nicht super sauber (relativ viel Schimmel in der Dusche). Die Betten waren sehr hart und laut, man hat jede Bewegung der Person über einem gehört und gespürt. Es war in Ordnung, aber für den Preis hätte man mehr erwarten können. Das Personal war sehr nett.
Die Bäder waren nicht besonders sauber, etwas in die Jahre gekommen und es war viel Schimmel in den Duschen. Die Betten waren unbequem.

Reviewed Sep 3, 2026L'auberge est bien située, bien équipée seulement les proprio sont visiblement juste là pour se faire de l'argent sur le dos des gens sans s'occuper de les héberger dans des conditions décentes.
Je n'ai passé qu'une seule nuit dans cette auberge et j'en suis ressortie avec plus d'une vingtaine de piqûres par des punaises de lit. Réveillée à 4h du matin avec des punaises de lit dans mon lit et sur les murs. J'ai passé le reste de la nuit assise sur le canapé de l'auberge sans possibilité de me rendormir. J'ai immédiatement informé l'auberge par mail, sans réponse de leur part... J'ai également laissé un mot sur le bureau de la réception et à plusieurs autres endroits. Une autre cliente qui partageait ma chambre à également vu des punaises de lit sur le mur de son lit. J'ai ensuite découvert, choquée qu'il y avait de nombreux avis google (juillet - août 2026) qui informaient de ce problème, dont une personne qui a eu un échange de mail avec l'auberge. Ils étaient donc parfaitement au courant du problème depuis plus d'un mois mais d'après eux, l'entreprise venue pour traiter n'a rien constaté et n'a donc pas traité. Comme c'est arrangeant. En tant normal, j'aurais été compréhensive car ce n'est pas de leur faute s'il y a des punaises de lit, en revanche ils choisissent visiblement d'ignorer délibérément les clients qui les informent de ce problème et choisissent de ne pas traiter. Non seulement c'est irrespectueux et contre productif car tôt ou tard ils seront forcés de traiter quand l'invasion sera hors de contrôle, mais c'est également irresponsable car ils contribuent à la propagation de ces parasites dans les hébergements, villes et pays fréquentés ensuite par leur clients. Autant dire que subir des démangeaisons qui m'empêchent de dormir la nuit pendant plus de 10 jour associé à la crainte de ramener ces insectes dans mon logement ainsi que toutes les mesures préventives et particulièrement contraignantes à réaliser en rentrant chez moi à un fort impact psychologique.

There are not great amount of bathrooms, so everything need to be shared. However, everyone being respectful, it was not an issue.

Reviewed Aug 26, 2026Das Yard Hostel liegt sehr Zentral . Jede Menge Shopping Center wie Pubs und Restaurants. Der Hbf und die verschiedenen Fähren und Boote sind auch nicht weit . Der Aufenthalt war hier sehr schön. Unterkunft war gut und hat eine Küche . Man lernt hier sehr viele Leute aus aller Welt.
Das es kein Frühstück gab.

Left after the first night because how bad it was. The bed was definitely not that clean and the bunkbed was a wooden wobbly construction. Haven’t closed an eye that night because of the person moving underneath my bed. On the picture it looks like closed of bunkbeds but the frames don’t touch the sealing what in result in seeing al the lights from the other beds (picture taken at night). Also the curtain was to small so even more light came true. And I am not speaking about how much noise you could here even when I wore a noice canceling headphones. Reading the reviews about the bedbugs was my last straw and when I asked about the bugs if they were gone in the hostel they told me I couldn’t get a partial refund because they haven’t found them Yet in room 5…. That is just waiting for a problem to appear.

I checked-in around 3pm. I went on to choose my bed and fixed my bed linens. After that, I went out to enjoy the city. I came back around 11pm tired and wet because it was raining. Only to find out that someone occupied the bed that I prepared. They put their things there and the bed was obviously used already. I guess not all guests were instructed that they needed to make their own beds.

Een gezellige lounge waar je kunt wateren, lezen, spelletje spelen, medereizigers kunt ontmoeten, fijne douches, prima kamers en bedden (met ruimte voor je tassen), keuken met alles wat je nodig hebt en heel vriendelijk en behulpzame staff. De locatie in het hart van Helsinki is ook uitstekend.
De straat waarin het hostel ligt is in een uitgaansgebied, dus het is ‘s nachts niet stil. Neem dus je oordopjes mee, dan gaat het prima! Het hostel heeft geen eigen wasgelegenheid en in het weekend gaan de wasserettes in de buurt al vroeg dicht. Goed om daar rekening mee te houden.

Saapumiseen oli riittävän hyvät ohjeistukset, kun hoksasin lukea ne, ja tunsin itseni tervetulleeksi. Verhon takana oli hyvä nukkua ja paikka oli rauhallinen, vaikka muita majoittujia oli paljon.

Reviewed Aug 16, 2026거의 무인으로 운영되고, 체크인이 아주 간편해요. 전반적으로 깔끔하고 화장실, 샤워실이 작게 여러곳에 있어요. 샤워실에서 살짝 곰팡이 냄새가 나긴 했지만 숙박객수 대비 깨끗하게 유지됐어요. 라운지 이용객이 많은데도 조용한 분위기가 잘 유지됐어요. 헬싱키 도심이라 관광지로 이동이 편해요.
도심인 동시에 구시가지 도로에 위치해 있어 수트케이스를 끌고 가기 힘든 돌 블럭 도로를 걸어가야해요.

Auf den Bildern von Google ist ein Balkon zu sehen, auf dem man draußen sitzen könnte. Letzterer war bei meinem Besuch nicht zugänglich.

Reviewed Aug 11, 2026L'emplacement trés central, (au pied la gare centrale) donc vivant, accés facile à pieds aux principaux sites à visiter. Ville aérée et agréable, pas trop de monde dés que l'on sort des axes principaux. Le personnel est accueillant te les lits bien confortables. Les zones communes de partage sont spacieuses et bien confortables !
