The setting is quiet and serene — a genuine escape from the everyday, with peaceful, beautiful nature all around and great views from the estate. A perfect spot to unwind in the Stellenbosch winelands.

Le petit déjeuner était quand même bien light. On a le choix entre salé ou sucré mais pas les 2 . J’ai donc choisi la salade de fruits - qui était très fournie - et avec le thé et 2 tranches de pain de mie , je n’ai eu rien d’autres. Le pain aurait mérité au moins d être en libre service

Reviewed Aug 4, 2026A pleasant surprise. Never been to Devon Valley area and just loved the valley. From checking in to checking out was a pleasure. The staff were amazing. Very helpful and sorted all issues out in a flash. The breakfast was very tasty. Would be very nice once the restaurant opens for lunch and dinner. The setting is beautiful with all the apple trees and the lovely garden - lush and green. Thanks for the fresh milk in the fridge!
With any establishment there is room for improvement - but we loved Brenaissance and liked all about it.

Reviewed Jun 11, 2026The problem with this Estate, is the fact that there was/is nothing to even complain or dislike from this place. Everything, far exceeds any expectation that we had. We still can't stop ranting & raving to everyone about this place. We already making plans to revisit the Estate. Awesome place, beautiful environment, absolutely breathtaking & such value for money.
We didn't like the fact that we booked for such a short stay, we should have booked to stay longer.

The breakfast could be more varied with quick access continental self-service spreads while hot dish being prepared. The outside cottages deserve a heater or easy way of lighting up fireplace in winter. It can get chilly. Aircon heater not always consistently warm. No onsight late night restaurant or bar. To be added from September.

Some areas in the room need a little bit of maintenance and can be a bit cleaner, i.e. the toilet was leaking and aircon dirty.
