Its location is fantastic, walking distance from food, entertainment and public transport. It does take some time if coming from the airport. It is very nationalistic, and my air-con just blew the air around without cooling it much.

The picture they use in their advertisement must be from the first day they opened thirty years ago? The place was dirty and shabby and worn out and due to the late hour of our arrival we decided we would stay and get an upgrade in the morning, also it was Christmas and all the other hotels were at maximum capacity and charging double rates due to the holiday. We were given a closet sized room that stunk of mold and the elevator was right next to the room. After going out in the morning and finding that every hotel was booked and there were still bus loads of people coming and going we realized we were screwed unless we wanted to pay double or triple our expected budget. We asked this hotel for an upgrade and were told that "due to the holiday" yadda yadda yadda, that it would be difficult but after a little negotiation a number was agreed to and we paid and additional amount of 45 ringlet? for the two days stay. We were shown a room with an actual window, You know like the picture in the add but only thirty years older? It was bigger and had a window was the only thing I can say was an improvement as there was an airplane turbo fan outside the window that roared 24/7. We stayed only because trying to find another room elsewhere would have cost us double or triple our budgeted stay. To say it was a good stay in KL would be an exaggeration. To be honest I have done a lot of traveling and have NEVER had such a bad experience in my 65 years. I will never go to KL again.

Cleanliness is a big issue and housekeeping is zero even for 3 nights stay. Must inform for cleaning which is understandable but not always have personnel at counter to informed. Early check in is chargeable even with multiple rooms available, with such rate, we should have more service. Free breakfast is unclear reason and has to resort to settle on own. At night, air con off by itself as well as tap start run full blast with no reasons at all. Room was not clean with bad odour and felt breathless and paralysed during sleeping due to supernatural reason. Overall an extremely horrifying stay and will not return again due to the supernatural reasons and cleanliness. For the brave only.

Recommended by a friend if I wanted to stay at the small and simple hotel at Sunway City area. So, i tried this hotel. Room was okay, everything worked well. Staff was also nice and they informed everything thru WA and i found this helpful. But I think it is better to book room only instead of having breakfast included. The option for bfast was so poor.

Strategic place. Then hotel is located right in front of the mall. The hotel provides free breakfast (roti canai and Teh tarik).

Just opposite of Sunway Pyramid, that's the selling point. There are lots of things you can do at Sunway Pyramid and Lagoon, and vicinity, not excluding food varieties

Arrive late around 1am and the check in was smooth. When enter the room, the smell was good though. And then the Tv remote problem, call the reception he came and solved👍 Aircond also good. Got free breakfast @ kedai mamak below the hotel. The best thing was this hotel got lift. Overall is a worthful stay with the price you paid.

Good hotel for the price given to me

I was with a group that had come KL to join an U22 Bowling Tournament in Sunway Mega Lanes and selected this hotel as it was just across the bowling center. Hotel staff were friendly and free breakfast was in a 24 hr restaurant just beside the hotel. Rooms were small but expected this being a budget hotel. Rooms were cleaned/serviced daily but in 4 out of the 6 days of my stay the foot towels were dirty and had lots of hair in them.

Best budget hotel near to sunway lagoon, located infront of surf beach entrance of sunway lagoon. If you are using 2day fun pass this is the place to stay. Clean rooms, clean bathroom, friendly/ kind/ helpful staff. Breakfast is satisfactory. Sunway Pyramid Shopping mall is just infront. Highly recommended.

Clean, cheap, easy to book, friendly-staffs, very very very strategic. Many choices of restaurant. Near the hospitals. Near university. Across the Sunway Pyramid mall. Near water park for vacation. Me and my family always choose to stay here if we're going to KL.

eg..Family room for 3 is abit small, cups and hanger only cater for 2 person!!

If you are coming to Sunway, this hotel is the best location with a good price.

Their counter staff are friendly, helpful and approachable. Location adding a great point to this hotel which just in front of Sunway Pyramid.

The room bed is come with bed bug.. and we check the bed, it is also very dirty.. will no recommend u to stay unless u are fine with bed bug.

Really close to sunway pyramid, like REALLY CLOSE The room I stayed in had stained walls, boo on the previous tenants who dirtied it up :( Stained walls aren't easy to clean I had a single room, so it wall small and compact, the toilet was almost the same size as thee bedroom tho, so it was a comfortable shower space Vinyl floor, not cold to the touch even with the AC on, so you don't need indoor footwear Check in was a bit slow, the staff was having some casual chit chat very loudly until the reception had to shush them, which was very responsible of him :) All in all, it was nice :)

We stayed at a family room (1 queen size and 1 single bed), everything is just alright. Walls are thin so you can hear outsider talk/stomp/walk. Breakfast is ok too, liked their egg prata. My only complaint is just that the bathroom glass that prevents shower to leak is so short, that it doest serve the purpose. Also the second day i stay there the tv had no channels. Wifi is great but towards 6 PM and on it was very slow.

Nice hotel next to sunway pyramid mall. Do know that the breakfast is located next door of the hotel, which is at a mamak.

Best location - Only the location getting the higher credit for this hotel. Overall the hotel's facility are so so, the hotel towel and hotel pillow case are not hygiene. The staff are not really friendly and never allow customer for early check in or extend the check out hour although for a regular customer.

Location is near sunway pyramid. But it is very difficult to get the parking there. The light that in the room is out of service. It bring a lot of uncomfortable to us. Don’t too much expect for the free breakfast. The breakfast is locate in the downstairs to eat the mamak shop. The breakfast budget is only WITHIN RM5! For my own review. For the rest you may find it out more.

Lift broke down, shower did not work properly, Wales were dirty. Disco next door with loud music late into the night

Just needed a bed and shower due to our late arrival. This one fit the bill perfectly. Is also fine for a short stay in the Bandar Sunway area of KL.

Hotel so far OK, but bathroom not so clean. Have hairs on the floor + sink.

The hotel room is very small and worn out. The room didn't have a window and this was not specified during booking. The bed is comfortable. Receptionist on duty @3rd Aug 630pm should polish up on her customer service skills. Surrounding area is good with a lot of eateries and mall just opposite. There are better hotels (artisan eco hotel) than GM in that area.

Condition was bad as compare to my stay last year. Advised to bring your own towel as Wife complain that the towel smells bad. My Brother's room toilet was choke.

Staff were very unfriendly and seriously never smile at all. Rooms were small but still manageable. Bathroom was quite spacious though. The towels provided looked very worn out. The hotel does provide limited choices of breakfast at the restaurant below. Convenient location as it is just directly opposite Sunway Pyramid hotel.

Took queen size bed at 2nd floor. Room size very small but overall clean and smelled good. Couldn’t really get enough sleep due to noisy people outside and also the noise from exhaust fan from the restaurant downstairs. Generally acceptable for budget hotel and located strategically near sunway pyramid mall.

5 min walking distance to Sunway Lagoon. Overall the room is OK. It can be noisy at times especially during the night where groove from nearby clubs vibrates your room window. Room is clean and cosy but there's a spot of leakage on the ceiling.

Breakfast is included. Breakfast is catered by the restaurant (non-aircondition or coffee shop) next door. Because it is a fully operating restaurant, the food is quite good. The restaurant opens 24hours. Sunway Pyramid is just across the road. Nearby there’s Red Box (Karaoke), Parkson (Shopping), 7 Eleven (convenience store)

unrelaible and dishonest staff. left my luggage at their concierge. i came back and my luggage was tamperes and the lock pasword key was changed. asked the staff,she response very rude and sounds very defensive. im not returning to this hotel again.

GOOD TO STAY IF YOU ARE GOING TO SUNWAY LAGOON BECAUSE IT'S ONLY IN THE FRONT BUT THE STAFF DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THE SURROUNDINGS. THERE IS NO STAIRCASE IN THE HOTEL SO YOU NEED TO WAIT FOR THE LIFT WHICH IS VERY SLOW. IF YOU DON'T MIND TO WAIT, I THINK IT SHOULD BE FINE.

The location is really good and easily accessible to Sunway Pyramid mall and foods. The room is really small, while the bathroom is quite spacious. When I flipped over the blanket, I saw strands of tiny baby hair on the bed. There'r ants climbing on the bed too. The noise insulation is quite weak. No instant coffee nor teabag is provided. The toiletries include a small bottle of shampoo, soap bar, toothbrush and toothpaste. I didn't notice any shower gel. I was told by the hotel staff that my breakfast voucher can be used as RM5 discount voucher at the restaurant if I order anything in the menu instead of the breakfast set. However, when I talked to the waiter in the restaurant, he said no and asked me to order from the list of set menu only. It's kind of difficult to communicate with the restaurant waiter using English. After some negotiation, I ended up to reduce one of my roti canai to upgrade my coffee/tea to iced milo.

Excellent location for shopping & family trip. Family room is big enough for 4 pax. Value for money. Due to celebration of 2018 New Year, it’s noisy till 2-3am due to car honking...be prepared for this...But the location is great that you don’t hv to walk out to the street to see the fire works..

The hotel is reasonable, but the car park space is a problem. Also the loud music from bar few doors away stays till 3AM.

Customer service below average, no smile no greetings no thank you by receptionist but that is expected when business owner terminate staff to cut budget (have friends used to work there) Hotel room small but ok with facility provided, breakfast average, location very good. In term of facility it is good but customer service terrible

It's a budget hotel so if you are looking for comfortable stay this is definitely not your choice. Bed is hard, TV programmes limited, no mini fridge, hair dryer that needs to recharge every secs of blowing my hair. But for the cheap price it comes with breakfast and is conveniently situated just opposite Sunway Pyramid.

We just stayed at this hotel. The looks exactly the same with in the web. Not very large room but clean and they prepare towels.. compare with the price.. this room very worhted. The location very great, just oppisite the sunway pyramide mall. So what you expect more...

My room near to 7 eleven convenience store, so all the time I in the room every time can listen the door bell sound disturbing I sleeping and while around 7am the room cleaners I think at next to my room very noisy and they are scolded each other's .

If you are looking for a place to stay closer to Sunway Lagoon, consider this hotel. 300m away from the lagoon and rooms are also nice with free wifi. However hotel gives free breakfast which does not encourage me to have again. Just in front of the hotel there is a burger lorry at night which serves huge and tasty burgers even after midnight.

Made to wait for two hours while air conditioning was being repaired. When it was supposed to be repaired, the air conditioning was not cold. When we requested for a room change, it was not entertained.

The staff is not friendly and a bit rude when I called for inquiry. I have book few rooms and 1 room have cockroach.

its just located beside sunway pyramid, easy to access shopping mall, nearby got lotsss of foods. They have free breakfast next to the hotel which is mamak restaurant but the breakfast was cold, waitress not friendly. One of the Malay reception at front desk wasn't friendly. but the cleaner aunty is friendly, she even spook to me. they have tv ,dryer, toothbrush, anything, the toilet paper smell weird, the bed sheet got dirty stain,but its ok for me seems its white in colour, can understand that its hard to wash off the dirts sometimes. hmm.. overall, good location, good stay.

This is the first and the last time. Went in early but the reception says 2pm...so went to sunway for a walk...came back at 2pm , still dont have a room....waited for half an hour still no room...and the receptionist gave me an attitude despite my frustration. Pls train your staff.

Here comes my review. It's my 2nd time living in this hotel. Previously around February 2016, I was living at room 302 - Superior Family room. I love the room environment, very clean, it's big enough to live for around 4-5 people. Highly recommended. Highly satisfied. Yes. However, as I didn't made advance booking (December, 2016) so I have no other choice to try out the Family room, which is Room 315 with a 1 single bed and 1 queen bed. Which is located at the end corner. I got highly dissappointed. At first when I enter the room, my first thought was, "Okay... it's a bit stuffy and it kind have this smells coming from the kitchen." Smells of those foods being fried. I put on a second thought perhaps because the AC wasn't on. So, I turned on the AC and try to live there for a night. Honestly, it got worst. I felt so sick because the smell didn't go off even when the AC's on and the room got stuffy and I can feel the smell got thicker. It's like what you will have after you are done eating in a bbq restaurant. It feels sticky. I made a complain the the staff, and yes they have received so many complains regarding the room. I believe the room I was living needs some kind of a ventillation fan or something. Well, I don't know. They gotta figure that out how to fix it (?). Please do take note, one of the receptionist isn't friendly at all.
