Close proximity to restaurants

We are Americans living part time in Mexico. We spent one night at the Fiesta Inn in preparation for boarding the El Chepe for the Copper Canyon. The hotel is conveniently located to shopping and dining options. It is also a short walk to the Sinaloa Park and Botanical Garden which is worth a visit even if the traffic is a little intimidating. The room was fine. It was clean, quiet and the air conditioner worked well. The bed was comfortable. There was only one bottle of water in the room which seems a little cheap. I did not go to the lobby for more water so perhaps that is the procedure here. Because we would be leaving early for the train, I asked the front desk if we could order a taxi for 6AM. Normally, I would use DiDi or Uber to find a ride but at that hour I was concerned that drivers might be in short supply. When we went to the lobby the next morning the night manager greeted us and we mentioned that we had ordered a 6AM taxi. A minute later, our driver appeared, ready to take us to his car. The manager said "He is our best man" and wished us well. This driver was not a taxi driver and his car was not a taxi. It was dirty and looked like it had been used to to haul crops. The ride to the train station was short and uneventful. I would not have been too irritated with the fact that we had gotten a ride from some random guy in a dirty car but then he charged $150 pesos for the privilege. That is about three times what an Uber would charge.

Karina kept our room clean, she was kind and smily all the time, looks she enjoys her job, service quality great. One thing didn’t like was parking ticket, it requires and stop at front desk every time to go out, hotel use to provide a card to open the parking

Hotel is located inside of a shopping mall. Easy access from airport by car, safe district and well guarded. Restaurant option available as well as inside the hotel. Could use some upgrading of elevators

This is a very nice hotel and, I thought, a super value for such a modern and convenient hotel. It is right next to a major shopping centre. But what impressed me most was the hotel manager, Ruben. I became a little confused about my receipts and was concerned that the taxi they called for me had overcharged me. Ruben IMMEDIATELY replied and check things out for me, within 48 hours. I was absolutely stunned at such great service (it turned out I was confusing receipts and had not been overcharged). My experience was so positive that not only would I stay at the Fiesta Inn in Los Mochis again, but I did a bit of research online and see that it is a chain of hotels. I will go out of my way to stay at Fiesta Inns in Mexico from now on.

Very bad hotel, not recommend please don’t come . For me it is unacceptable that a hotel has problems with hot water for the showers, there is no excuse for this to happen. My shower didn’t have any pressure nor hot water, and the excuse that my room was too far away from the water heater is unacceptable as well. The rooms are ok, at least clean and the bed and pillows are decent. The hotel service is also ok, they were able to change my room to a closer one to the hot water source, pressure was better and temperature just barely acceptable. Breakfast if you are not Mexican is not good, 90% of the offerings are local dishes, only “international” dish was scrambled eggs I tried the Mexican dishes but for my personal taste they weren’t good. Also the price of their breakfast is $16 which I find unacceptable for the quality. Overall I won’t be coming back and I strongly suggest you to stay away of this hotel and better try the ibis hotel.

Great stay at a mall location. The bellboy/security is very helpful and friendly. Front desk does their job and good. The room is great with the expectation of the thin walls. Bed was good and the bare minimum of essentials. Location is great in the mall and restaurants.

Javier who I believe is security was very pleasant and welcoming. Once in the hotel the staff was very pleasant and helpful. Overall the experience was incredible and the hotel was very clean and nice.

Easy access to everything

The only limitation that I see is the size of the room, despite having a very comfortable bed and pillows. It is so small that the sink is outside of the bathroom, right in from of the bed. There is not even a rack to hang the towels.

One of the best things in this hotel is that, it is next to a big mall. You will find everything, you find in USA. All types of brands. Also, you have different food options just by walking a few steps from the hotel. The front desk is willing to help you to call a taxi for you to take you anywhere. It is definite that if we go back to “Los Mochis” we will stay at this hotel.

Just the room had a lil smell but they tried fixing it and everything else was great , great staff too . Good food also.

Just like most large hotels there is a lot of noise between contiguous rooms, and even from the hallway. The rooms are not very large, but well designed. Same thing with the bathroom. Overall, very clean and comfortable. It is contiguous to a shopping mall, where there are many food and clothing options

Easy to get there, close to manin streets

Excellent location next to a shopping mall and restaurants. Rooms are clean and modern. Good for 2 people. Small for 3 or with kids I think. Only negative thing I would say is the shower does not have anything to place your toiletries. They have to be placed on the floor. Also I didn’t like the sink being outside of the bathroom. Staff were very friendly. Restaurant on site is also good with a nice patio if you want to sit outside looking over the mall and restaurants nearby.

The room is very noisy . No ice machine. They suppply only one coffee mug and one coffee pouch. No glasses in room. Otherwise co fortable and rarly clean.

It’s a new hotel, so it’s all modern, very safe and very clean. Loved it! Safety was part of the design of this hotel. You need your key card to get to any floor and to use the pool and gym. You can;t get passed the lobby without a key card. You also need a ticket to get to their covered parking and the personal security at parking lot is 24/7!

The hotel its in a very centric location but our room was dirty it look like they gave it to us without having cleaned it.

I like the look of the hotel. The location next to a great centro comercial can't be beat. Parking is safe. It's in a guarded parking structure underneath hotel. Though the female staff are all overly proper "Chicas Robot", you have to understand this is the way they are from Hermosillo to Los Mochis. In a way I understand because machismo in Mexico is all too real.

Stay was not up to par to other Fiesta Inn properties in Mexico. Thin walls, cleanliness was good, some service agents were pleasant some were more cold as previously mentioned in review thread. My biggest issue with property is an unauthorized charge of $100 usd for laundry that was not authorized by room holder + random / mysterious misc. makeup products broken during stay. Would not repeat. Pics available if requested.

The hotel is centrally located in a plaza which makes it very to get around. My stay at this hotel would have been much better if my room would have had a view. Unfortunately, although there was a window, it was covered with a film that obscured the outside view. At check in, the gentleman could have been a bit friendlier as well. Other than those two concerns, this is a great hotel to stay at.
