Beautiful location with ocean views and access, pool and garden area.

This is one of the most cleanest places I stayed. The staff was excellent and attentive, especially the owner, Luis. The views are beautiful. I can’t wait to go back.

The room was smallish but had all necessary facilities and the bed was very comfortable. The food at the associated restaurant was very good. Staff extremely pleasant and helpful.

Wonderful place. Quiet, beautiful view of the ocean, amazing little pool and a great place to watch the waves roll in. I walked along the beach with no one else in sight. Truly a piece of heaven on earth. We will definitely go back.

This place is stunning! You walk through to a big pool and patio area that looks over the ocean, the rooms are very clean and spacious, the restaurant next door was so delicious! The owner and all of the staff were delightful! We went when Puerto Rico was having some earthquakes but they have a killer generator that kept everything running smoothly.

The free Coffee and microwave station. Also the Pool area in great conditions plus the security. We will back soon.

This stay was different than expected, but resulted in being a delightful experience. The room itself was simple and basic, one of a group in the building which was set on its own property. It was difficult to find, i.e. no number visible from the road, the procedure for check out was unclear as was exiting from the property(sensors opened the gate as you drove out, but if there was info telling us that, we missed it.) Checking in was via the restaurant next door which wasn't open until 10 am the next day, hence the question of checking out. The restaurant next door made the choice of dinner very easy and that was excellent and delightful. The outside dining option, requirement really, not an option at all, would satisfy the most extreme of romantics. Both properties sit on the edge of the ocean so had top of the line ambiance. Now that I know the mechanics, I would definitely return for another stay.

Beautiful ocean views. Amazing location. The sound of the waves, the friendly staff. The room was spacious, and very clean. The beds very comfortable. Reasonable price! Best place to stay in Arecibo.

The place was very modern and clean. Love the view from our second floor room facing the pool and the beach. Hearing the water waves at night was so comforting. The plus was the semi attach restaurant next door. It serves excellent delicious cuisine food specially seafood. It has multiple areas for all type of gathering bar, outdoor table overlooking the beach actual restaurant for family environment. I would recommend it to anyone.

Great spot to stay when you are in Arecibo. It is clean, comfortable, and convenient. The pool is warm and the the view from the patio is gorgeous. The attached-ish restaurant serves delicious cuisine.

It is on the beach and has a beautiful pool and yard. The house felt welcoming and has a lovely restaurant conveniently located next door. The food was excellent at this restaurant. It is very close to the caves and beaches!

What a beautiful surprise. We booked a junior suite which had an amazing view to the ocean. Down the stairs and out the back you had the pool and a large gazebo for outdoor picnicking. Just beyond that, barn type doors were opened by the owners which allowed you access the small beach just beyond the doors. A beautiful place for a very reasonable price. The owners were on site, cleaning the pool and they are a wonderful couple. Stop here, you'll thank yourself. Almost forgot, parking is inside the facility with a code.

Lugar muy hermoso y acogedor!!! Súper limpio y con un área de vista al mar Hermosa! Lo único q molestaba en la noche era la puerta del frente cada vez q la abrían o cerraban hacia demasiado ruido para los cuartos del primer piso. Y aunque el Portón del estacionamiento es por tarjeta. Al costado hay uno q da acceso al restaurante abierto al público y de libre acceso a la propiedad . Pero overall todo estuvo muy bien! El café ricooo!

Our stay was much better than expected. It was the highlight of our stay in Arecibo! We felt comfortable from the very beginning and throughout out stay.

The suite we stayed in has two rooms, one with a balcony and a great view to both the poll and the beach. Luis is an excellent host, always available!

We had a great time. The place is suuuper clean. The only thing was that we could only watch one channel on the TV. Wish we had something other than coffee to drink/ eat.

The place is amazing. Is very clean, peaceful and modern. Our room had a pool/ocean view, and it was amazing hearing the waves from our room. The pool was very clean. Personnel was very welcoming and polite. Overall, the place is great for an escape from the everyday routine. Location was good; easy to get there, and had a lot places near to eat. The only thing I didn't like was that one of the guests had kids, and they were screaming down the hallway at 8AM. So, if you stay, you have to be aware that you can hear from your room all of the noises in the hallway that divides the rooms, including the people using kitchenette (by the way, great amenities) Other than that, my husband and I hope to stay there again soon.

Fantastic peaceful place, convenient to adventure tours and caves. Had 2 bedrooms and they helped us out by giving us an air mattress as well. Cute pool and is right on the ocean so you hear the waves at night. Would stay again and recommend 100%!!

It was beautiful with beach access. The rooms were clean and modern. The view was fantastic. The restaurant next door was closed. But found great nearby eats. The coffee machine did not work but staff member fixed. We were given beach towels. One was wet and smelled musty. Nice pool. Did not see many staff around to ask questions. Would go back there again. So beautifully breathtaking.

This was our third visit - which says a lot - and we were not disappointed. Everything is first class, from the infrastructure, fittings and the food. A comprehensive wine list is overseen by owner, Louis. There was a helicopter parked outside the restaurant when we arrived, the owner calling in for lunch - another indication of the establishment’s quality.

Nice hotel, right on ocean, strong Waves, watched surfers, beach short 5 minute walk, can see lighthouse from shore line. Would stay again. K cop Coffee machine can use anytime.

It's my second stay and plan to continue. Price for the value obtained is great. Be aware that is a vacation rental with a shared kitchenette. You may experience noise in the mornings and evenings, but nothing that bothers. Cleanliness and friendliness of the staff is top top. I recommend it.

Excellent hotel with a nice beach close by. But the beach is too dangerous for kids. The restaurant is very pricey but great food! Overall a great stay and would come back!

My mum and I spent two days at Salitre. Luis,the owner was extremely accommodating from beginning to end and he ensured that our stay was perfect. He was always available and provided great tips on the area without hovering over us. The rooms are neat and well kept and the overall maintenance and upkeep of the property was great. Salitre was cozy, extremely peaceful and relaxing and I would definitely recommend this to someone who is looking for some quiet time in PR. It is about an hour and 15 minutes from the airport.

The view was lovely. There were two sweet cats on the grounds. We didn't try the pool, but it was beautiful. The room was clean and well-appointed.

The back yard had the best view from the pool to the beach. You can sit there and watch the sunset or just drink some and relax

Lovely modern guest house with beautiful pool area on the ocean edge in the resort area of Arecibo. Easy parking. Check-in is in the restaurant. Breakfast appears to be do it yourself in the small kitchen.

A hidden pearl, far from the city and noise. It is a small, well mantained and extra clean hotel. Pool area is beautiful. Will return!

It was a little tricky finding the hotel because it doesn’t have a sign in front. You have to go next door to the restaurant to check in. The lock in our room didn’t work. The owner told us to jiggle it and it would work! It did, but I wasn’t totally convinced all night. The room facilities are nice, but the “Continental” breakfast consist of make your own coffee and only packaged oatmeal.

Amazing from the check in to the check out. Outstanding service. Sparkling clean and very confortable bedroom, the views and pool are to die for. And as a bonus they have a restaurant right on the side. Will definitely stay again when in the area.

Stayed here with a group of 4 friends. We had a BLAST. We met Luis up front after getting lost for a bit since Maps was acting weird. Luis provided us with better coordinates and directions after calling him. The place is CLEAN, BEAUTIFUL AND COMFORTABLE. The area is also amazing, locals are incredibly nice, the place is by the beach and is near the caves. It comes with a free breakfast, you meet some pets and the pool and beautiful canopy is accessible anytime. I took some drone shots and photos before we left and it was truly unforgettable. Hands down our favourite stay during our trip in PR

Place was easy to find. The room was as advertised. It was big, modern and well maintained. I like that there was a very good restaurant in the property. The owner greeted us and was very cordial. I’d come here again. The pool was a nice touch. Bring mosquito spray. They come out a lot at night. I’m used to it since I lived in the area many moons ago.

This is a beautiful place and it looks relaxing but the walls of the rooms are paper thin you can basically hear everything. We couldn’t have a good night because of a baby crying and a family having a party. We have also problems with the AC licking water from the bedroom all the way to the bathroom and also they don’t have hot water in bathrooms and the showers are old. Overall Very clean place and the restaurant next door it’s a good option. Not uber service around and not a lot of taxis at night time in this area.

We loved everything about our stay! The room was huge and impeccably clean and location was perfect for being “close to everything” in Arecibo. The pool was also spectacular- my family loved their late night swim! Thank you so much!- We will definitely stay here again!
