The food

Our stay at Agriturismo Villa Toscana (4*) was disappointing. We had booked a Standard Double Room for 3 nights, and it did not resemble what is advertised on the websites. Next to the room assigned to us, floor and wall tiles were being chipped away at that moment, creating a tremendous noice. We did not accept this and were offered another, ‘comparable’ room. We took that room, because you don't want to stay next to construction work while on vacation. Neither this nor the first room resembled the beautiful and luxurious rooms shown on the website as ‘Standard Double Room’. (See photos). The price is the same, but the dimensions, location, and appearance are completely different. The room was so noisy that we had to sleep with earplugs in our ears. And the bed was small, 160x190cm. The cottage was old and in need of maintenance, just like the surrounding grounds. We did not receive what was promised and what was shown on the confirmation. We reported this as well, but all they said was that this was a ‘Standard Double Room’. First of all, they should never have offered accommodation next to a renovation site. In our view, Agriturismo Villa Toscana is not an Agriturismo where you stay at a (small-scale) agricultural business and where the proud owner is present. We only saw and spoke to working people. The accommodation is also not a villa, but a tourist accommodation with various buildings and small structures that differ in size and appearance. There was almost a camping atmosphere, while you are given the impression that you are staying in a luxury villa. A real disappointment. The accommodation costs had already been paid in advance, otherwise we would have left immediately.

Ett fint boende med väldigt trevliga och generösa rum. Poolområdet var enkelt, men trevligt! Fanns möjlighet att få lunch från restaurangen på dagen (om än något litet utbud).

Omgivningarna kändes något mindre underhållet än vad bilder och videor ger sken av.

We loved everything, Tiziana's warm welcome, the really big and nice rooms, the super comfortable bed, the nice gardens and pools, the restaurant with delicious food along with romantic evening views, the breakfast. It was a fabulous stay and we are looking forward to come back, also can highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for something special and quiet and very chilled out and welcoming.

Bellissima struttura, curata e immersa nella natura. Trasmette serenità, anche il personale molto cordiale e disponibile. Colazione varia e con prodotti senza lattosio. Piscina molto bella e pulita. Stanze con spazi ampi e con il necessario che serve

Manca la possibilità di pranzare senza spostarsi dalla struttura in quanto finita la colazione e fino all’ora di cena non è disponibile neanche un bar per un panino o una bottiglia di acqua. Se ci fosse anche questo servizio sarebbe perfetta. Infatti almeno una volta al giorno devi spostarti per questo motivo e praticare la strada sterrata che è anche lunga e dopo qualche giorno pesa.

Das Restaurant auf dem Gelände ist super, sehr lecker und sehr höfliches Personal. Das Gelände ist gepflegt und schön begrünt. Das Frühstück war auch gut

Leider entsprach unser Standard-Doppelzimmer deutlich nicht dem Eindruck, den die zahlreichen Fotos dieser Zimmerkategorie auf Booking.com vermitteln. Das Zimmer wirkte in die Jahre gekommen und renovierungsbedürftig, die Einrichtung sehr schlicht. Dazu kamen einige Mängel: Spüle und Toilette tropften, das Licht flackerte und die Matratze war sehr hart und gleichzeitig deutlich durchgelegen. Besonders störend war die extreme Hellhörigkeit – man hört jedes Wort aus den Nachbarzimmern sowie sämtliche Wasserleitungen. Auch die Ausstattung war für den Preis enttäuschend. Nicht einmal eine Möglichkeit zur Kaffeezubereitung auf dem Zimmer war vorhanden. Wir haben direkt nach dem Check-in um ein anderes, den Booking-Fotos entsprechenderes Zimmer gebeten. Leider konnte uns auch am nächsten Tag kein vergleichbares, helleres und moderneres Zimmer angeboten werden. Der Pool war während unseres Aufenthalts sehr voll und stark von Familien mit Kindern genutzt. Das ist natürlich völlig in Ordnung, für uns war es dadurch allerdings kaum möglich, dort ruhig zu entspannen. Natürlich erwarten wir nicht, dass jedes Zimmer exakt wie auf den Fotos aussieht. Die Abweichung zwischen den zahlreichen Bildern des gebuchten Standard-Doppelzimmers und unserem tatsächlichen Zimmer war für uns jedoch deutlich zu groß – insbesondere zum vollen Preis.

The pool was lovely with plenty of chairs. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We needed to do washing. There was a machine but required coins. The reception did not keep coins on hand for you to use the machine.

Posto ideale per il relax ma che certamente non ti fa annoiare. È stato bellissimo passeggiare tra un verde lussureggiante, il canto degli uccelli. Farsi un bagno in piscina, giocare a bocce, farsi una partita scacchi sulla max scacchiera oppure semplicemente poltrire su le tante sdraio sparpagliate per il parco ...leggere un buon libro Il tutto in piena libertà e tranquillità, benché ci fossero altri ospiti in giro.

Giardino, ristorante e piscina. Gentilezza del personale.

L’arredamento dell’appartamento voleva dare nelle intenzioni un tono “rustico” ma purtroppo ci ha lasciato solo una sensazione di vecchio (anche considerando il prezzo a notte): siamo rimasti un po’ delusi.

À 400 euros la nuit, le niveau de prestations proposé est, à notre sens, très largement insuffisant au regard du prix demandé. Le lieu et son positionnement : ce n’est pas réellement un agriturismo au sens où nous l’entendions. Il n’y a aucun contact avec les propriétaires, aucune immersion dans l’exploitation et aucune production locale mise en avant. L’établissement ressemble davantage à un centre de vacances; Les espaces extérieurs et la piscine : la piscine est particulièrement vieillissante. Aucun service n’est par ailleurs proposé autour de la piscine. Là encore, les prestations ne sont pas à la hauteur du prix demandé. Et les photos Booking clairement éloignée de la réalité. Le petit déjeuner : il est certes varié, avec des tartes, des fromages et différents gâteaux, mais la qualité des produits reste assez ordinaire. Quant au café, il est franchement décevant. La chambre et la literie : notre suite familiale était composée d’une chambre principale avec un lit double très inconfortable. À l’inverse, la literie de la chambre attenante, équipée de deux lits simples, avait manifestement été renouvelée et était de bien meilleure qualité. Les odeurs dans la salle de bains : c’est le problème le plus gênant de notre séjour. Les remontées d’odeur dans la salle de bains étaient particulièrement fortes et, malgré la VMC, ne disparaissaient pas. Nous étions contraints de fermer toutes les portes de la salle de bains pour pouvoir dormir sans être incommodés. Ce problème est connu du personnel, ce qui rend d’autant plus difficilement acceptable le fait que la chambre continue à être proposée dans ces conditions.

Struttura meravigliosa e curata in ogni minimo dettaglio. Un luogo di pace, rilassante e perfetto per staccare dal caos della città ed immergersi nella natura. Abbiamo provato la spa e la piscina ottime per sfuggire al caldo di queste giornate. La sera abbiamo cenato nel ristorante della struttura ed il cibo era ottimo e fedele alla tradizione toscana.

Bella struttura, nel verde con una bella piscina. Ottima posizione. Silenzioso e lontano dal caos quotidiano.

La stanza era un po’ umida e la porta del bagno non si chiudeva bene. Forse qualche servizio dell’appartamento è migliorabile ( es. mancanza di canovacci o presine, abbiamo usato un asciugamano). Colazione buona ma pieno di api che rendevano complesso mangiare, soprattutto con un bimbo piccolo (ma giustamente siamo in natura quindi ci può stare).

Camera con tutti i comfort. Servizio eccellente, colazione buonissima, ci hanno servito aperitivo in piscina, poi ho cenato al ristorante dove ho mangiato molto bene con speciale menzione per il risotto al nero di seppia: indimenticabile

Die Anlage selbst ist schön, auch der Pool-Bereich ist komfortabel.

Preis-Leistung stimmt hier leider gar nicht. Für den hohen Preis haben wir deutlich mehr Komfort erwartet. Das Zimmer ist dunkel und nur über eine schmale Treppe erreichbar. Das Bad befindet sich dagegen im Erdgeschoss, was es ziemlich unpraktisch macht. In der Dusche gibt es null Ablagefläche, nur Stück-Seife und kein flüssiges Shampoo oder Duschgel. Das Frühstück ist nicht sonderlich groß, frische Rühreier und auch der Cappuccino oder O-Saft kosten extra, was ich bei den Zimmerpreisen eine Frechheit finde. Handtücher für den Pool gibt es nicht.

E’ una bella struttura immersa nel verde. Proprietari molto gentili. Piscina stupenda. Spa nonostante in questo periodo era gratis l’abbiamo utilizzata solo una volta.

Non per colpa loro ma per ritardo della prenotazione abbiamo preso una camera matrimoniale piccola con angolo cottura, consiglio una camera più grande se non addirittura una suite. Ristorante e colazione ottimi.

La struttura è immersa nella campagna, cosa che la rende molto tranquilla e silenziosa. E’ altresì possibile cenare all’ottimo ristorante interno e avere a disposizione piscina e lettini per momenti di relax. La camera pulita è dotata di tutti i comfort mi ha sorpreso per la sua ampiezza, rara di questi tempi.

Der Zufahrtsweg ist sehr staubig und an der Betonplatte gehört dringend mal was gemacht, wenn man nicht aufsetzen will.

Sehr schöne Anlage - viel Natur. Die Terrasse zum Frühstücken ist ein Traum. Einen Tag gab es sogar ein Modelshooting. Das brachte zusätzlich Glamour!

Der Pool ist relativ klein und mit vielen Kindern besetzt. Unsere Terrasse war im Bereich der Kellertreppe mit viel Gerümpel zugestellt.

Rapporto qualità prezzo. 285€/notte per un mini appartamento senza gloria e la colazione (per due adulti) è un po’ troppo per la mia personale sensibilità. La tariffa per la colazione (voto 7) non comprendeva il caffè espresso e il cappuccino ma solo il caffè in moca.

Läget, miljön och personalen

Alloggio ampio, comodo, ben arredato, pulitissimo. La suite è elegantemente arredata. Il ristorante OPERA e' ottimo, con un rapporto qualita'/prezzo assai valido. Personale efficiente, accogliente, garbato.

Wunderschöne Anlage in der Natur

Der Pool! Ist dieser schönen Anlage nicht würdig. Hier fehlt die gut unterhaltene Sanitäreinrichtung. Das Wasser ist viel zu warm, wärmer als die eigene Körpertemperatur…., das ist schlicht grauenhaft. Es fehlt eine mit Frischwasser gespeiste Zirkulation, damit der Pool auf anständige Weise erfrischend gehalten werden kann. Dies benötigt natürlich eine grössere Investition, welches sich aber über die Zeit positiv auswirken wird. Macht etwas bitte 🙏.

Uns gefällt dieses Agriturismo sehr!auf. Es ist für uns immer die erste Wahl. Die Nähe zum Meer ist perfekt, der Pool ist wunderschön und sehr gepflegt, das Frühstück ist ausgezeichnet und die gesamte Anlage ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Wir fühlen uns hier rundum wohl und kommen immer wieder gerne zurück. Eine klare Empfehlung! Vielen lieben Dank an Tiziana für super schöne Urlaubstage!!!

Apartment was nice and clean. Very comfortable beds. The location was beautiful and really romantic. The massage was great.

And here we go... At reception the staff spoke okay English, but the rest of the team's was terrible. In a tourist area I'd expect at least some basics. We're not native speakers ourselves, yet we'd never just address people in our own language and expect them to cope - that comes across as arrogant. We went for an (extra-paid) dinner on site, where an older waitress spoke no English and a younger one seemed to understand but avoided any interaction and clearly didn't want to be there. We waited 40 minutes just to order, despite being only the second of three occupied tables. The food, to be fair, came quickly. Afterwards we wanted to order more wine but couldn't - for another hour, nobody came by. It felt unprofessional and unwelcoming, and for food that was merely okay, it was also expensive. Breakfast was very mediocre and basic: a few sweet items, a few savoury ones, and boiled eggs - an omelette costs an extra €3.50 🫣. We also paid €15 a night for our dog, which felt like a scam, as nothing justified the charge. No water bowls were offered at breakfast, at dinner, or anywhere on the grounds, and the staff simply ignored our dog. We spent 15 minutes hunting for a hidden bin for dog waste. There was no drinks service around the pool - not even for water - and speaking of water, what came out of the tap tasted odd, so we couldn't drink it and were forced to buy bottled. Given that no food was available throughout the day, I'd have expected at least some basic cutlery and plates in the room. The listing promised a shower AND a bath, but the room had only a shower - with a fixed overhead head and no handheld one. On top of that, cats roamed the grounds freely, bothering guests at dinner and provoking dogs; one nearly attacked our puppy as we walked into reception. I don't think cats should be left to roam a facility like this 🤷‍♂️. And the access road was so dusty they might as well throw in a free car wash 😅.

Personale gentile, buonissima colazione, camera molto grande e curatissima , letto confortevole. Tutto l'ambiente della struttura è curato (giardino, piscina, reception) e si respira aria di telax e tranquillità.

Sehr schöne Anlage, ruhig gelegen, ideal zum Entspannen. Zimmer waren sehr sauber.Sehr freundliches Personal und gutes Frühstück.

Der Pool und die Dusche wirkten ungepflegt, die Leiter in den Pool war schwierig zum heraus kommen. Wir hatten eine Suite gebucht die leider keine einzige Schublade bot um etwas zu verstauen. Auch im Bad gab es keine Ablage. Die Anfahrt zur Anlage geht nur über einen langen sehr staubigen Schotterweg. Größerer Kühlschrank wäre gut, da man in der Anlage weder Getränke noch Snacks kaufen kann, da ist eine Minibar im Hochsommer zu klein.

Das Frühstück war hervorragend, sowohl die Speisen und Getränke als auch die Location. Personal dort sehr freundlich! Auch das Restaurant Opera war wunderbar, tolle Location am Lavendelfeld, super Essen!

Pool: Wirkte insgesamt ungepflegt, die Pflasterung rund herum war mit Unkraut durchwachsen, die Leiter in den Pool defekt, wie auch der Abfluss der Dusche über mehrere Tage. Der Pool selbst war zwei Tage trüb, irgendwie hatte man das Gefühl, dass sich niemand wirklich darum kümmert. Ein Getränkeautomat am Pool wäre gut, wie auch Toiletten. Fernseher im Zimmer nur mit italienischen Sendern! Straße zur Unterkunft ist mehrere hundert Meter lang geschottert - entsprechend sah das Auto aus!

Es wäre schön gewesen, wenn man in der Mittagszeit auch mal einen Kaffee trinken könnte oder auch ein Eis kaufen könnte.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt! Das Apartment war sehr großzügig und sauber, haben uns direkt wohl gefühlt. Wir empfanden auch die Umgebung als sehr schön, gepflegt und ruhig. Vor allem war das Personal total freundlich. Sie waren stets für Fragen da und haben meinen Freund auch bei einer kleinen Geburtstagsüberraschung für mich unterstützt. Auch das Restaurant können wir wärmstens empfehlen. Vielen Dank für alles!

Meckern auf sehr hohem Niveau: Die Küche könnte etwas besser ausgestattet sein, zB Wasserkocher, Salz, Öl. Für uns war es aber total ausreichend und wir sind sehr gut klar gekommen.

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal dort u haben uns erneut sehr wohl gefühlt! Eine wunderschöne u sehr gepflegte Anlage. Schöner Pool, gehobenes Restaurant, tolles u sauberes Zimmer. Wir würden die Villa Toskana immer wieder wählen.

Das Müsliangebot sollte man etwas vergrößern.

Villa ad appartamenti e suite diffuse inserite in un parco magnifico. Suite molto ampia, arredata con gusto e stile, con giardino e vasca idromassaggio in marmo private. Ristorante con piatti da chef stellato. Colazione dolce e salata con prodotti tipici e della stessa azienda agricola. Personale squisito, gentilissimo, accogliente. Posizione eccezionale sia per le visite a cittadine etrusche (molti tra i Borghi più belli d'italiano sono nelle immediate vicinanze) sia per arrivare al mare in pochi minuti. Piscina ben tenuta, tranquilla, disponibile a tutte le ore.

Piccolissimi particolari potrebbero essere migliorati: il kit di cortesia in bagno dovrebbe essere sostituito se utilizzato interamente. La copertura in pannelli di polistirolo svilisce la meravigliosa vasca idromassaggio in marmo.

Het parkachtige erf (chapeau tuinman!) met zwembad, ontbijt, de kamers en de bedden. receptie, Kelner was erg behulpzaam.

Te weinig personeel in de bediening. Kelner was heel behulpzaam en werkte echt hele dag keihard om iedereen tot dienst te zijn. Respect en dank! Klinkt decadent, want niets te klagen maar....De lekkere in zuur ingelegde groenten van eigen makelij ontbraken dit jaar op het altijd voortreffelijke ontbijtbuffet.

Helaas was de kok ziek en ging het dinner niet door. De omgeving was wat treurig, ook het restaurantje in de buurt waar we redelijk gegeten hebben. We gingen juist voor het gevoel van agriturisme, wat helaas niet doorging

Die ganze Hotelanlage ist sehr schön gestaltet mit Liebe zum Detail,und der Garten ist top gepflegt und wunderschön,mit vielen Blumenbeeten und Bäumen.Auch unser Zimmer war sehr hübsch eingerichtet und das Bett komfortabel.Wir wurden zudem sehr freundlich an der Rezeption empfangen und zu unserem Zimmer geleitet.

Leider mussten wir im Restaurant unverhältnismässig lange auf unser Essen warten,obwohl nicht viele Gäste da waren,und es gab auch leider sehr wenig Auswahl für Vegetarier.Das Essen,dass uns dann serviert wurde,war allerdings ganz hervorragend.

Ein wunderschöner Platz, um sich von einer E-Bike-Etappe zu erholen. Dazu gehört das grosse Gelände mit seinem Baumbestand, das Schwimmbad und das hauseigene Restaurant.

Einigen Hotelgästen war wohl nicht bewusst, dass Fahrradfahrer unangenehm mit Staub eingedeckt werden, wenn man mit dem Auto über die unbefestigte staubtrockene Strasse zur Unterkunft rast.

Notre chambre etait un peu près de la ligne de chemin de fer mais ça n’enlève pas de points sur notre note .

Absolutely fantastic hotel, friendly staff and surroundings suited us. Rooms were huge and fir the price we paid couldn't ask for anymore. Grounds were kept in immaculate condition. A super hotel.

Siamo rimasti perplessi dalla cena, che era buona ma con dei prezzi troppo elevati. In una struttura così, che è lontano dalle vie più trafficate, sarebbe saggio mettere a disposizione degli ospiti un ristorante più alla portata di tutti, così da non costringere le persone a cercare un altro ristorante dove mangiare. Per quanto riguarda la camera, il piatto doccia era molto scivoloso e andrebbe sostituito o reso più ruvido con tappetino di gomma.

We stayed here the night before embarking on the Tuscany Trail and enjoyed the most spectacular aperitivi at sunset on the verandah and refreshing swim in the pool early before breakfast. The supper was also fantastico!! We had a wonderful big family room

Amazing location to start and finish the Tuscany Trail and adventure- cannot recommend enough!

Wir waren fünf Nächte in der Villa Toscana und hatten eine schöne Zeit. Zu jeder Wohneinheit gehört eine kleine Terrasse, auf der wir die Abende verbracht haben. Wir haben meistens selbst gekocht, die Küche ist gut ausgestattet mit allem was man braucht. Das Restaurant auf dem Gelände (Opera) haben wir auch ausprobiert, toller Service und sogar unser Hund war willkommen. Kleine Auswahl an vegetarischen Hauptgerichten, die aber sehr lecker waren! Trotz Außentemperaturen von 30 Grad war es in der Wohnung schön kühl. Am Pool hatte man seine Ruhe mit Liegen und schattigen Schirmen, den meisten war das Wasser vielleicht zu kalt, uns nicht. Das Servicepersonal ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Der Weg zur Villa Toscana ist etwas herausfordernd (Schotterstraße mit Schlaglöchern). Direkt neben dem Gelände ist leider derzeit eine Großbaustelle, die schon ein ziemlich Lärm macht, aber Gott sei Dank nur wenige Stunden am Tag.

What a fantastic place, stayed here for a cycling event, and it couldn’t have been better. It’s an ideal cycling location, being able to cycle straight out the door. The food was fantastic and the staff couldn’t be more helpful or attentive. Thank you
