We loved the hot springs♨️, it was very pleasant and there were wild bunnies 🐇.I loved the wild peacfull animals like squirrel and bunnies that were very cute to touch🐿🐇.The breakfast was also delicious🍉🫕🍲.Our room had beatifull veiws of the river and mountain. 🏞 Writen by the daughter
There was nothing really bad there just one thing that the sink when we used it smelled like sewer. Also writen by the daughter

Location is pretty good. Only a few minutes walk from entrance to Emei ticket office. Very pretty outside the hotel. Staff were nice and friendly and helpful. Big clean room with a balcony.
Breakfast was disappointing. Not a lot of privacy in the shower. Other people in room can see you while in the shower.

Convenient location, variety of choice for breakfast
Lovely location; love the hot springs, good breakfast; spacious room; the staff are very friendly.
Gode faciliteter og meget hjælpsomt personale, samt godt personale og behagelige rammer. God morgenmad og dejlig spa-pools. Gratis adgang til vaskemaskine og tørretumbler. Tæt på Emei Mountain transportcenter.
Property was a bit worn but well-kept and clean. Breakfast was excellent with many options.
Everything is perfect for us. Great location where we can walk to the Emei ticket counter. Breakfast variety is good and kids like it. Room is comfortable and clean.
Great services and we enjoyed the stay. nothing we dislike. It gave us good experience and we will look for Holiday Inn for our next family trip.
This hotel is within walking distance of Mount Ermei park but a distance away from the main shopping and gourmet center of the city. Hence, one needs to decide which is the priority as vehicular transport is definitely required if you intend to have more restaurant and shopping choices to spend the evening on. There are only a handful of Chinese restaurants around the area which obviously cater only to guests of the hotel and a myriad of other boutique hotels within the same area. We couldn't even find a cafe for a cup of coffee in the late afternoon. The hotel definitely has a resort feel and look to it. With lots of green, ponds and a river flowing behind, it generates a very nice and relaxed feeling. It is very well-maintained and clean. The room decor is very contemporary. There is a balcony that overlooks a garden and the river that flows behind. Mosquito netting is installed which allowed the glass sliding door to be left opened at night, allowing fresh and cool air to flow into the room while you sleep, supported by a comfortable bed. Front desk service is efficient, although it can do with a little bit more warmth. Breakfast is adequate, nothing to shout about, though. The spread is obviously catering to local palate.
When we arrived, the lobby smells like cigg. Not sure if so happened someone smoked but that was how we were greeted. Though we asked for non smoking room, it still smell like cigg smoke. Big turn off since im an asthmatic patient. The breakfast spread was not too bad. Simple and decent. The family room in the other hand was good. no complains.
Nothing special, but for the price its perfectly fine. Clean and modern rooms, and overall well maintained hotel. Perfect location for anyone visiting Emeishan as it is just a 5 min walk from the entrance. The buffet breakfast is very basic but it was free with the room so I can't really complain.
Not all the hotel staff speak English. A minor inconvenience but I had to visit the front desk 3 times until another staff member could help me with our travel plans.
Breakfast is OK, location is Ok
Weather is Hot and hotel is not ready with cool air . Although a addition fan was given but is noisy to sleep with
Everything when the hotel room was neat and clean . Groceries shop and restaurants are nearby staff are polite and friendly
Breakfast starts at 6.30 am and we missed the sunrise at the mountain
The staff was very helpful and friendly. Upon knowing that we were not locals, even offered her mobile number for us to call in case we get lost or encounters any issue. Location of hotel is very good, centrally located near the visitor center into Emei Mountain.
Outdoor playground for kids were very dirty.... Bathroom is quite small.
Price was cheap
Too touristy
The hotel is conveniently located about a 10-minute drive from the Emeishan train station. From the hotel, it’s a short uphill walk to the Emeishan tourist center where you get tickets and the bus up the mountain. There are other guesthouses and a dozen or so restaurants in the same area. All seem to serve similar food. Small shops sell drinks (including beer), snacks and instant noodles. There are separate soap/shampoo/conditioner bottles in the shower, perhaps responding to earlier complaints about the amenities. No fridge in the room. Large washing machines and dryers on the first floor. The small balcony is nice - the river view rooms, which cost a bit more, overlook a tranquil stream and wild green area, and an egret parked on the opposite bank. The breakfast was adequate - fried eggs, sausage, toast and cereal; Chinese dishes and fried rice, a soup noodle bar with four kinds of noodles.
We planned to visit the Emei Mountain and Jinding (Golden Top) during our stay in Sichuan. As Mt Emei is 130 km from Chengdu so we have to stay a night in Emei. The hotel locates close to the Tour Passenger Transport Centre where we took the bus up Mt Emei. The hotel is resort like with only 3 floors. Staff were friendly and helpful. We were arranged with a room with strong smell and they offered another room for us. Members of IHG were given a can of coke as complimentary welcome drink. In-room amenities were adequate and buffet breakfast allowed you to feed your stomach before hiking up the mountain (but do not expect too wide range of food). Good for its price and will recommend to friends who travel to Mt Emei.
Very clean hotel room with fully equipped toiletries and clean towels. Excellent customer service from front desk to restaurant. Staff always have smile on their face. Will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone on business trip or on holiday with families.
Excellent venue with great customer service. Breakfast is great with spread enough for families with children. Front desk staff can understand english and are very helpful. Rooms are clean with sufficient amenities. Will stay here again if i revisit Emei. Highly recommended.
This is a hotel which provides excellent service. The hotel staff are all very friendly and nice, and i asked many queries without any sense of irritation. My room view was very good, facing the mountain and the air was so fresh and nice. One little small thing that the hotel needs to improve on is the breakfast, because when i ate at this hotel for the 2 days that i stayed there, it was cold, hard and tasteless.
It’s just 5-min walk from the ermeishan scrnic area to take the bus up the mountain. The hotel is relatively new and the receptionists are helpful.
I would like to recommend this hotel to my friends because the great service. You will receive a sweet smile when you approach the gate, even the security guard smile to you! Efficiency check in and clean room. Healthy breakfast provide every morning and it has ready included in your room rate that means you don’t need to pay any extra fee for it. Also they ask you if you need a umbrella when the day I came out and it is raining, oh! That is touch my heart!
My wife and I stayed in the " Holiday Inn Express Emei Mountain " hotel in Emeishan for 1 night. Location: Near the bus station to the mountains and a center with local restaurant but no western restaurants. Room: The room was equipped with all the required/expected amenities. The room was clean. The water was hot and air-condition worked well. Service: The staff provided us with excellent service in English. Food: The basic breakfast had small variety of chines & western options only, which we found challenging. Wi-Fi: Good Wi-Fi reception but connection to site outside China was an issue even with VPN.
Hotel baru, Staff ramah Suasana sangat nyaman dan tenang Meskipun holiday inn express - pelayanan dan fasilitas seperti holiday inn Sangat recommended Kekurangan : Kolam renang ngak berfungsi
The room was a lot larger than I expected. The bathroom is just very basic. Please bring your own shampoo, conditioner, body wash and even a bar of soap (i took one from the previous hotel I was staying in, and I was VERY happy to have it) - they stuff they provided looked awful. Even the liquid hand soap by the sink looked scary. The river view was pleasant. Unfortunately they were constructing some kind of small road across the river from the hotel so it was quite noisy from early morning. The breakfast was also better than expected once I discovered the chef doing made-to-order noodles. Ummm. Yes, please! If you like dan dan mian (Szechuan cuisine) I’m sure you’ll figure out a way to make a tasty bowl of noodles for yourself. They even offered several different types of noodles. Cool! The breakfast room also turns into a restaurant from 6 pm onwards. I had a solo dinner of mapo doufa and rice. It was surprisingly.... excellent! I also ate at a restaurant down the street towards the main road but I actually thought the food at the hotel restaurant was better. There’s no fridge in the room and beer seems to be sold at room temperature in the shops. Grrrr! But thankfully the hotel sold cold beer.
I understand that it's peak time during spring festival but it's just holiday inn, nearly 1000 a night and totally not worth it. No fridge in the room, no mini bar, not even soap, just some weird looking thing called shampoo as well as shower gel in one bottle. Staff at the receiption are quite unfriendly and not helpful. Breakfast is okay but the dinner buffet is utterly disappoionting, 88 yuan each, tastes like school canteen. Some staff even asked us to show him the evidence of us paying for the beer, several times. It's just two bottles of beer and I paid that on wechat but he just wouldn't believe it, and of course he had no I idea what's Heineken and what's Corona. At night the power went off for several hours and no one explained why. This is one of the only hotels that serve foreigners but it's quite disappointing, stayed here for two nights but no one even cleaned the ash tray. Will not stay here again.
Nice new hotel, just a minute walk from the main entrance of the park, but out of the traffic. Many restaurants nearby (all Chinese foods). Very friendly staff, but only a few speak English. The breakfast buffet was small, but offered enough choices of foods to become happy with it.
What a lovely hotel! Clean and comfortable rooms. Friendly staff (limited English). Peaceful and quiet. We booked a river view room and it did not disappoint! Perfect view from our balcony. Breakfast is basic but it did the job. There are a few local restaurants and convenient stores surrounding the hotel. Not too much else though. The hotel is conveniently located just 2 mins walk from Huangwan Parking Lot. This is where we purchased and boarded the bus for our day trip to Mt Emei. I’d definitely stay again. It’s a great hotel!! However it is located within an area that taxis and DiDi’s are not allowed to enter. Not sure if it’s always like this? Perhaps it’s only because we stayed during National Week? We had to walk (approx. 10 mins) out of the restricted area to get a taxi or DiDi to the train station. This also applied to us upon arrival. Not a big deal but just something to be aware of. Perfect stay. Highly recommended!!
Our rental car broke down in front of the hotel lobby, and the rental company claimed that they did not have road assistance in the area. We were extremely worried that our travel plans might be disrupted. Hotel manager Mr. Tang came to the rescue by calling a local repair shop. We left the car key to Mr. Tang and continued our trip on a bus. Mr. Tang later called that the repair person fixed the vehicle (dead battery). He parked the car for us, ran it on 20 minutes to charge the car battery, and even paid the repair person on our behalf. When we came back after the day trip to the mountain, Mr. Tang gave us the key back and led us to the repaired vehicle. The hotel itself is also very nice with the latest equipment including a smart TV. Hot water came on very fast. There is also a free breakfast. I definitely recommend this hotel.
We would like to express our gratitude to the hotel staffs at holiday inn express emei that on duty on 20 - 22 September. We had a good stay at your hotel and we have no regret to insist to stay at Holiday Inn Chain although the local travel agent recommended somewhere else. The property is new, clean and quiet. Not too crowded. Breakfast outdoor is excellent morning start! The most importantly staffs are professional and helpful especially the duty manager Mr Chen Jie. He listened to our need and went extra miles to resolved our problem and turn impossible to possible. We are very impressed with his professionalism especially to guests from outside China. We hope China will train more staffs like Chen Jie - good attitude and helpful. Keep it up! Thank you to all!
Very nice hotel, breakfast was ok
The room respected the standards of Holiday Inn express hotels, it was comfortable with all the necessary amenities, it had a balcony with a very nice view on the river and the mountains which was really relaxing. It is a really quiet and relaxing place. Breakfast can be improved but it’s good.
One cannot compare this property with other luxury hotels located in the big cities, but it has all what you need for a comfortable trip. It is very close to the Emei bus stop, just opposite to the neighbourhood. The real city center of Emei Mountain, however, is only reachable by bus or cab. The room was clean and well maintained, although rather small compared with what we were used to. We liked the balcony of our room which had a nice view to the outer neighbourhood and faraway mountains. One thing we felt a little strange was that the entire business neighbourhood appeared somewhat run down with mostly closed empty shops except for one small supermarket and a pharmacy. There were two or three restaurants run by the locals inside the neighbourhood which offers decent food with affordable yet higher than usual price.
A relatively new hotel in a newly developed area. One of the very few international hotel names in Emei. There is a huge Zen-themed mixed development next to the hotel. It's still very new at the time of my stay, and the tenancy around 20% filled. It should be a very interesting place for dining and shopping in 2-3 years' time. A special thank to front desk staff Mr. Shui. We realized a jacket was left in the room only in the evening after checkout. Mr. Shui was very helpful and efficiently identified the cloth even though the lost&found storage room has been locked at the time of my call. He also found a way to courier the jacket to us early next morning, and that saved us a lot of worry and trouble.
Room is tiny with a small bathroom but the room amenities are good enough for one night stay. That is a good hotel choice for those who would like to climb up the Mount Emei the next day. We stayed at the ground floor and there is a small balcony which is great!
早餐质量太差了。房间还不错。新酒店。停车很方便。前台服务也还不错。
LOCATION NOTE: The hotel on Expedia shows that it's on Emei Mountain by ZhangLaoPing, but it is actually at the foot of the mountain, near BaoGuo temple, about a 5 minute walk to the entrance at the foot of the mountain where you can buy tickets and pay for the 2 hour bus ride up the mountain. Google maps does not work and is not accurate for mainland China, I strongly recommend using Apple maps (which is powered by the Chinese company GaoDe maps once you're in China). The hotel and room was very clean and comfortable. There was a washer and dryer on site that cost 15yuan per run. The breakfast food is also really nice and filling and was perfect for our day adventure into the Emei mountain.
location quite far from city, but can take bus number 7 till last stop. walking distance to Emei mountain ticket counter. room is perfect, great accommodation.
Ottimo hotel per la visita ai templi e per gite sulla montagna
