Lady Loch Country House

The beauty and tranquility

The property was very good and comfortable and very relaxing.

Is very spacious and well located for us.

Spacious and lovely garden

The quiet, the great pool, the rooms are lovely. Luxury rooms have Nespresso machine. Great birdlife.

We had a pool view but the rooms do not have views at such - because of the room placement, you're in the shade - which i think is beneficial when its hot.

Herzlicher Empfang von Liezel. Schöne Anlage mit xl pool🤗

Lovely spacious room overlooking the pool and beautiful landscape. Amazing staff, lovely breakfast!

The service from Quintus was above and beyond what we expected. From a lovely breakfast, to ice cold beers by the pool, the staff made it exceptional.

Was disappointed that the tv was not a smart tv so only had access to open view. I would have gladly used my own netflix account if only the tv was better

Spacious, pool, private

Everything was great. The only thing I can say to assist the team there is to rejuvenate the garden and general things again. Properties of this nature needs it now and again.

The welcome and the care of the owners and staff. The pool.

This is an incredible location, beautiful and tranquil. To get away from city life, I can only say try it. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming.

Nothing not to like

Very smart and well run guest house. Hosts went out of their way to make us feel welcome and give advice. Stunning pool area we enjoyed a sunset picnic at. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

Nothing we did not like.

The place has a positive vibe, the beautiful garden, swimming pool. My room was comfortable including the bed

The pool was amazing

Beautiful location, accommodation and hosts

The water and milk was not replaced after day 1

The service was amazing as well as the food, the peacefulness, the very comfortable room.

Very quiet and peaceful stay

The view is amazing, the host was extremely kind, smooth check in, and the room was perfect! Everything you need!

Just a nice place to stay.

Now breakfast at the property but they do arrange breakfast for you if you want it.

Nice property but they weren't very accommodating. We had asked if we could bring breakfast back to the room for another guest who wanted to sleep in a little bit and they said we couldnt because they were concerned that the food would sustain the sheets. Very strange response to be honest. Especially since they have a dining table and chairs in the room. Also there wasn't much variety for breakfast or many options for dinner

Efficient check in. Friendly owners. Place is clean and neat

Would like some fresh milk instead of powder milk. A load shedding schedule or notice upon arrival so we can prepare around it since there are not geared for load shedding.

Lovely spacious room and a lovely swimming pool and lots of outside space.

We liked everything

Stijn was fab, looked after us and made us feel very special. Beautiful surrounds, rooms were exquisite and George and Verity will be coming back. The pool is huge and always warm, there is Pétanque to play, and the vibe is friendly. Breakfasts are also a winner with Kristine making waffles and pancakes fresh! Loved it!

Nothing!

Lady Loch Country house is tucked away in a quiet area, nice pool and a room was very comfortable. Friendly host who is still trying to find his feet in SA.

I honestly expected more from a 4 star rated establishment....only 2 x coffee sachets in the room, would have expected at least 4. One cup off coffee for each of us in the evening and one early in the morning, that was disappointing. We paid extra for breakfast, which was okay, I expected a 4 star to have a cappuccino machine and options what to have for breakfast.

Beautiful swimming pool & garden. Safe parking.

Very Very hot - no provision for load shedding. Cleaner don't knock before entering your room. Breakfast can improve - you can not choose your own, you have to eat what's served- no provision for Vegetarian. NO honesty bar or water in your room - you have to go all the way to the nearby town for drinks & eats. Mr. D don't cover that area.

Very quiet area. Room huge and spacious. Pool was lovely and warm. Breakfast was fantastic.

..

The pool is exceptional! Peaceful and tranquil. A lovely set up and friendly hosts.

I loved the quiet tranquility and peace and away from home idea

There was only a swimming pool would have loved more activities

Lady Loch Country House strikes a great balance between comfort and quality. The rooms are clean, giving off a cozy and well-maintained vibe. It's really nice to step into a space that feels fresh and inviting. The pool area is a definite highlight. It's well-kept and just the right spot for a relaxing dip or to lounge around on a sunny day, making it a great place to unwind. The owners are super friendly and make you feel welcome right away. Overall, Lady Loch Country House is a fantastic choice in Wellington. It's got the perfect mix of cleanliness, great facilities, and hospitable owners that make your stay comfortable and enjoyable.

nothing to mention

We really enjoyed our stay. Super friendly host & nice Location!

Tranquil setting and comfortable. Ultra friendly staff.

Central to amenities yet secluded and private. A hidden gem! Rooms were stunning - tastefully decorated, clean and spacious. Beds very comfortable and shower is awesome. Beautiful swimming pool. Hosts very accommodating and friendly! Will be back for sure!

people, pool, lovely breakfast

Beautiful property, friendly hosts, comfy and clean.

So the guest house was recently bought over by a lovely family from Belgium and WOW have they transformed it since their arrival. You could probably guess this by the contrast of reviews from last year to now. We enjoyed it so much that we decided to stay another night- absolute gem, so relaxing. Beautiful pool, great facilities and super accommodating hosts. Would HIGHLY recommend!

Quick Checkin - we arrived much earlier than expected. Still allowed us to checkin and rest after the long drive. Very accommodating and friendly owner.

Everything was perfect and value for money. The owners are hands on and wants everything to be to the customers/visitors liking. I will definitely make use of the facility again.

Nothing

Location Noisy neighbours loud music No staff to help - had to track them down

It’s nice and Cousy and friendly staff

Nothing bothered me it’s just I would of liked a hot tub on property but all was perfect thank you

The images don't do justice to the place, the views are breathtaking - discovered the swing and had my morning coffee there extremely tranquil. Got visited by a peacock on our last morning and in glorious peacock fashion it gracefully showed off its beauty.
