Sriwilai Sukhothai

The pool is gorgeous and the view is amazing. The breakfast spread was great. We specifically liked the courtesy and hospitality of few of their employees. Ms Sutthirak, the waitress at the restaurant (always smiling and very pleasant - spoke excellent English too) greeted us every morning and started our days betifully. Ms Thanicha at the front desk, the first person we met at Sriwillai, is an asset for the company. She has excellent commuincation and always there to assist us. We were loooking forward to see her everyday and cleared all our doubts, like where to go, what to eat .. Then the elderly gentleman who droves her to another destination. LOvely man, excellent driver.

Magnifique Hôtel. Les jardins sont incroyables, la piscine magnifique et la vue somptueuse. L’hôtel prête des vélos, le site de visite est à 10 minutes et c’est tout plat. Le chauffeur du minibus de l’hôtel avec qui nous avons fait le transfert depuis l’aéroport et un tour vers le second site un peu plus éloigné est particulièrement sympathique et enthousiaste !

Toutes les chambres n’ont pas vu sur la belle campagne. L’hôtel a été bien arrangeant avec nous, puisque nous avons pu changer pour avoir une vue.

Soggiorno incredibile. Posto incantevole, personale gentilissimo e disponibile ad ogni richiesta. Vicinissimo al parco storico, raggiungibile in pochi minuti di bici che viene fornita gratuitamente dalla struttura. Piscina stupenda, colazione varia e ottima. Torneremo solo per fare qualche giorno in più in questa meravigliosa struttura.

The Thai style design and architecture was great. Rooms were very comfortable and spacious. The swimming pool was fantastic! Restaurant was also very good.

Quiet, great service, large rooms

L'ensemble du site est magnifique, des parties construites jusqu'aux jardins, donnant, du côté ouest, sur le chedi d'un temple voisin et, du côté sud, sur la campagne. Très grande piscine. Personnel efficace et réactif. Des vélos sont à disposition. La salle et la terrasse du restaurant, jouxtant la piscine, sont bien agréables. Quant aux chambres, elles sont spacieuses. Nous avions choisi une chambre (501) qui donnait sur la campagne (c'était une des raisons du choix de cet hôtel) et c'était un vrai bonheur d'ouvrir ainsi sur l'extérieur et la montagne au loin (photos).

Prestation à la hauteur, en dehors de l'éclairage des chambres : les ampoules diffusent une lumière froide, créant une atmosphère blafarde. Quelque chose qui pourrait être si facilement changé ! (nous avons observé ce problème ailleurs, dû probablement à la méconnaissance des choix proposés en typologie d'ampoules - lumière chaude, lumière froide).

El restaurante cierra algo temprano a nuestro parecer.

L ensemble de l hôtel est agréable, belle piscine, chambre agréable et lit correcte.

La climatisation donne directement sur le lit et même réglée au minimum. Donc vous ne pouvez pas garder une chambre fraîche. Musique très forte le soir au delà de 23h!!

Fantastische,, äußerst gepflegte Anlage, sehr ruhig, riesiges Zimmer und Badezimmer, Terasse mit Blick ins Grüne, super Zimmerausstattung mit Getränken, Minibar, Kaffeemaschine etc., sehr sauber, tolle Betten, herrlicher Patio mit Teichanlagen im Khmerstil, riesiger und sehr gepflegter Infinitypool, freundliches und hilfsbereites Rezeptionspersonal, eineandfreies Housekeeing, extrem freundlicher und liebenswerter Fahrer (Shuttleservice zum Airport)

Restaurantservice und Küche fallen krass gegenüber dem so schönen Ambiente ab. Abendessen ungenießbar, stir-fried Fisch völlig vertrocknet, ohne Sauce oder Dip, ungenießbar, Gericht mit völlig vertrocknetem geschmackfreiem Schweinefleisch,, Wir konnten gar nicht glauben, dass in so einer tollen Umgebung so minderwertig zubereitete und nicht schmeckende Gerichte aufgetischt werden können, zumal - wie wir am nächsten Abend in der Stadt erfahren konnten - die lokale Sukhothai-Küche exzellent schmeckt und außerordentliche gustatorische Rafinesse.aufweist. Restaurantpersonal eigentlich nicht unterbesetzt, aber uninspiriert bis unwillig, bestenfalls auf fehlende Schulung zurückzuführen. Dies gilt auch für das Frühstück. Hier war zwar die Qualität des Angebots in Ordnung, aber der Service trotz zahlreicher physisch anwesender Mitarbeiter nicht vorhanden. Eine Mitarbeiterin sagt, ja, Getränke, Kaffee werden an den Tisch gebracht, bei der Nachfrage an der Theke nach 10 Minuten: Do it yourself und Fingerzeig auf eine Kaffeemaschine. Wenn man mit 2 vollen Händen vor der Terassenschwenktür steht und zwei danebenstehende, sichtbar untätige Mitarbeiterinnen danebenstehen, könnte man erwarten, dass jemand beim Aufhalten der Tür behilflich ist - dann dreht man sich lieber weg. Unaufmerksam, möchte man einen Wunsch äußern, hat man den Eindruck, man stört das Gespräch der Mitarbeiter untereinander oder die aktuelle Smartphoneaktivität. Bisher unerfreulichste Serviceerfahrung in 2 Wochen Thailand.

L’accueil du personnel, la piscine magnifique, le confort de la chambre, le délicieux petit déjeuner ainsi que le bon dîner. L’hôtel est un peu loin des sites mais nous étions en voiture, donc pour nous pas de soucis.

l’impolitesse de certains touristes qui déposent leurs affaires de piscine de façon à se réserver des places sans être présents alors qu’il n’y a que peu de place ! Peut-être que le personnel pourrait gérer cela ?

C'est bien plus beau que sur les photos du site Booking ! Une large pelouse, joliment éclairée le soir, donne sur un magnifique chedi. Notre chambre (la 702), très vaste et belle, occupait une maison ancienne, avec terrasse et vue exclusive sur un plan d'eau et ce même chedi. Spectacle merveilleux au coucher du soleil. Très grande piscine carrelée. Le site de Sukhothai n'est distant que de 2km.

La cuisine est plutôt grasse et le petit déjeuner, quoique copieux, est décevant : produits industriels, jus d'orange type "Fanta". Nous n'avons pas apprécié que le réceptionniste retienne notre taxi lors de notre départ le temps "qu'une femme de ménage vérifie notre chambre" (ils avaient pourtant pris notre empreinte CB). La confiance règne...

Gardens are lovely, it is a very quiet location. Staff were very friendly and professional.

The food was poor in the restaurant, we only ate there on our first night More attentional should be given to the pool area. Towels and empty glasses/bottles were not cleared away and no one from the bar/restaurant took the time to ask guests if they would like drinks etc.

Magnifique hôtel dans un cadre enchanteur impeccablement tenu. Superbe piscine. On y passerait volontiers plusieurs jours tellement le cadre est reposant.

Staff members made every effort to make us feel at home. The location is beautiful and they paid attention to the details. We enjoyed very much the day trip excursion to Si Satchnalai historical park organized by the hotel. We liked the food both Thai and Western at the restaurant.

Beautiful resort with Spacious gardens and relaxing atmosphere. The room is good size and comfortable. Breakfast is excellent and plenty of choices. Staffs are very friendly and accommodating.

Drainpipe in the room has smell. it’s a minor point but should be looked at to improve the guest experience.

Beautiful tranquil hotel with a stunning pool and views over the rice fields. Lovely sunset behind the Chedi. Large bedroom/bathroom. Nice terrace. Pool bar/restaurant.

Of all the hotels we have stayed in over the past 9 weeks, we found the breakfast choices a bit strange (who eats spaghetti with tomato sauce for breakfast). We appreciated the egg station.

Das Personal ist immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage und Ausstattung sind einfach toll. Sehr gutes Frühstück und herrliche Gerichte im Restaurant. Das Hotel liegt sehr ruhig und gleichzeitig nahe beim Historischen Park von Sukhothai. Alles im Hotel sieht elegant und doch traditionell aus ohne übertrieben zu sein. Und der Blick vom Balkon auf die Reisfelder und Berge ist wunderschön und entspannend. Wir freuen uns bereits auf unseren nächsten Aufenthalt!

So glad I was able to stay at least one night in this stunning hotel. Great staff and lovely pool overlooking the waving fields. A beautiful oasis close to the ruins. Also, they will quickly grab a TukTuk for you to get to a restaurant or shop nearby. Lots of small touches to make guest feel appreciated. Unfortunately they were sold out for my second night so I had to move to another hotel (which had a higher Booking rating, but really did not compare). They were kind enough to let me use the pool and store my bags until I was able to move over.

Breakfast could use some improvement. Filled with loud tour bus crowd, but that's not the hotel's fault. Also, don't bother with their free bikes. Just pay the small daily fee to rent something more sturdy and comfortable.

建物と部屋の雰囲気が素晴らしかった、ゆっくりとホテルステイを楽しむには最高の場所。 午前中に観光し、午後はホテルのインフィニティプールでダラダラ過ごし、夜もホテルで美味しい食事。 敷地内は、遺跡もありホテル自体もゆったり建てられていて遺跡の一部かのような雰囲気。ライトアップされた夜の景色も早朝の景色も素晴らしかった。

お土産やさんとかコンビニとかは周辺にないので買い物がしたい人には不便と思う。

This is what heaven on earth is! The pool area with views over the mountains is spectacular. Staff are lovely and helpful. The massages offered at the spa are incredible. Breakfast is delicious with tons of Thai options for those who wanted to escape European breakfasts !

El hotel perfecto para ver Sukhothai historical Park y disfrutar de los alrededores, tienen un montón de bicis de uso gratuito, venden piezas de cerámica a mejor precio que en las tiendas locales y son super serviciales.

Beautifully appointed hotel - one felt like one was staying a royal palace! Close to sights of Sukhothai. Beautiful pool and a wonderful breakfast.

Our room was nice but unfortunately it overlooked a wall. The wall was literally in front of the window, maybe less than half a meter away, this made the room dark. We had no idea of this when we made the booking.

Ein sehr schönes geräumiges Zimmer mit Balkon. Das Sofa auf dem Balkon war sehr bequem und wir konnten den Blick auf die Reisfelder und die Berge genießen. Pool war total schön und die Nutzung bis 22:00 Uhr war klasse. Das Essen im Restaurant am Abend war wirklich lecker und ist absolut empfehlenswert.

Frühstück war sehr stark asiatisch geprägt, die Auswahl an Obst war sehr gut. Die Fahrräder brauchen dringend eine Generalüberholung.

The location is amazing and with free bikes can ride to historical park easily. The hotel itself is a beautiful piece of history itself and well maintained. Staff are friendly and helpful. We tried an oil massage and was excellent 10/10.

Breakfast was difficult due to a tour group being there same time, room for improvement on this aspect only. Dinner at the restaurant was fine but nothing exceptional.

Room, really a villa, was spacious and comfortable. The staff were excellent and always helpful. The food in the restaurant was good and and service likewise, attentive without being intrusive. The breakfast offering was extensive and delicious, in a lovely setting where we chose to sit on the terrace next to the pond and garden. The inside was airconditioned, but during our visit in late October the general temperature was very comfortable. The swimming pool was delightful.

Would have liked much better lighting in the bathroom. I always felt as if I was shaving in the semi-dark. I imagine it would have been very difficult for anyone to apply makeup. A few hooks for hand towels and bath towel rails would be sensible and easily fitted in the large bathroom. I was perturbed to see guests, who appeared to have had a good deal to drink, allowed to take glasses of wine, beer etc into the swimming pool, particularly at night in the dark. Accidents happen and broken glass in the swimming pool would have been a disaster. Suggest the hotel might adopt the sensible 'no glass' policy found in other hotels. Guests' empty glasses and beer bottles where left uncollected around the pool for most of the day, many hours after those guests left the pool area.

Ein kleines Paradies. Die Zimmer sind groß und komfortabel, das Personal sehr freundlich, der riesengroße Pool ein schönes Erlebnis. Die Altstadt ist sehr gut mit dem TuckTuck zu erreichen, das Hotel selbst bietet bei Bedarf sogar ein eigenes für wenig Geld.

Ein paar mehr Liegen am Pool für dieses große Hotel wären nicht schlecht

Tolle Anlage in traumhafter Umgebung. Sehr schöne und saubere Zimmer. Sehr freundliches Personal.

Das Personal könnte in der Anlage aktiver sein, zum Beispiel standen unsere leeren Drinks am nächsten Tag noch am Pool oder wir mussten uns die Poolauflagen selber holen. Das Essen im Restaurant ist okay aber nicht so gut wie gute Restaurants in der Nähe.
