Konya Dervish Hotel

Ein gut restauriertes schönes Haus mit kleinem Garten im Zentrum Konyas; alle wichtigen Museen, Basar und Moscheen fussläufig erreichbar. Die Atmosphäre im Haus ist von echter Gastfreundschaft, Freundlichkeit und Höflichkeit bestimmt. Als ich nach einem Optiker fragte, weil meine Brille repariert werden musste, ließ sie unser Gastgeber reparieren- wir brauchten uns um nichts kümmern. Auch unsere Wäsche wurde gewaschen. Das Frühstück war wunderbar. Außerdem wurden Karten für die Zeremonie der Derwische besorgt.

Es una maravillosa casa antigua reconvertida en hotel con montón de detalles. Todo muy bien cuidado. El dueño es muy amable y habla muy buen inglés. Está situado cerquísima del complejo Mevlana de los derviches (de hecho, pueden conseguirte entradas para la ceremonia, que también se puede llegar a pie). Buen desayuno y parking gratuito.

Breakfast was great and the owner suggested lots of things to see locally. He even gave me a lift to the whirling dervish event because I was running late! Overall the room was nice, the hotel is clean and located a convenient but quiet location.

Beautiful old ottoman house near Irfa center for Dervish ceremony and also next to Mevlana museum and Bazar and city center. Owner very nice and helpful and caring. Room is very beautiful and comfortable, silent e feels like staying in history. Definitely worth it.

We loved our stay in Konya! The hotel is a guesthouse that is within walking distance to everything you want to see. The hosts were incredible- we felt so looked after for the two days that we were there. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast spread was fantastic. I can not recommend this place enough. The hosts also own a rug store. We ended up buying a small rug and some pillow cases for a super reasonable price!

Ci è piaciuta la straordinaria disponibilità del titolare e l'autentica atmosfera turca. Comodo, vicino al centro, puliti i servizi e le camere, accogliente, colazione abbondante che segue principi biologici. Estremamente simpatico il proprietario, che inoltre ci ha fornito indicazioni preziose sulla città.

在Konya我们获得了不一样的体验和经历。在快到酒店的红绿灯处，有一辆车追尾了我们的车。车主不会说英语，我们处理起来非常困难。于是我联系了老板寻求帮助，特别感谢酒店老板过来协助我们处理这个小小的事故。前后忙活了一个多小时，帮我们写了事故处理单。老板很热情友善，入住后有欢迎茶水，早餐很好吃，特别是面包和蜜瓜，因为时间缘故我们没来得及探索Konya，下次有机会还会来的。

Excellent hotel with great hospitality. The check-in process was smooth, the room was spotless, and the facilities were very good. The staff made us feel welcome and looked after us throughout our stay. We had a very pleasant experience and would love to return in the future.

My stay here was such a wonderful experience! A beautiful, authentic inn, lovely garden and a very attentive and absolutely wonderful staff. The vibe was relaxed and homey. The location is perfect; easy walking distance from the tram, to museums, restaurants and shopping. At the same time, it feels tucked away from all the activity, a nice haven to relax and rest. Wonderful breakfast, too!

Our host went out of his way to assist us even driving us to a restaurant when we got confused about where it was. Very helpful and very pleasant stay.

这次是第二次入住了，上次来住是十二年前了，那次住的很舒服，这次路过Konya看到这间民宿还在营业，就又订了这里。这个民宿很干净，早餐丰富，有个漂亮的院子，距离博物馆非常近，这次来院子在装修，不过不影响房间的舒适度，进房间会喷香香的酒精消毒手掌，需要换上拖鞋，感觉卫生非常安心。老板推荐附近餐厅里的pide饼超级好吃。距离民宿走路10分钟的土耳其浴室也很好，Konya的浴室比其他大城市都便宜很多。上次来Konya是周六，可以在旋转舞中心看免费的旋转舞。

The atmosphere is that of a true Ottoman home. You walk barefoot on the numerous rugs. The owner is very friendly and serves excellent breakfasts made with local produce.

Hele handige locatie met meer dan genoeg parkeergelegenheid (auto kon zelfs voor de deur). Alle belangrijke bezienswaardigheden op loopafstand. Zeer vriendelijk geholpen door de eigenaar die ons veel goede tips gaf en een handige kaart van Konya. In de zomer is er op donderdag een Mevlana dans die gratis te bezoeken is. Wij boften enorm en hebben ervan genoten. Alles voelt ontzettend huiselijk aan. Geen schoenen aan binnen, ontbijten aan lange tafels i.p.v. ieder apart aan een tafeltje etc. Alles was zeer schoon en we hadden een goede airco want niet onbelangrijk is in de zomer. We hadden hier langer dan 1 nacht willen verblijven want het was echt een geweldige ervaring.

I rated the area where the property sits high but currently there is a great deal of construction. I understand that in a few months, it will be done. We love it.

The location is perfect. we can walk to all of places we were planning to visit, and car parking is no problem. The hotel building is a typical Turkish residence building with a cute garden.

Recently some construction work is next to the hotel..... of course a lot of dust and noise around the hotel building when we stayed.

The manager was exceedingly kind and willing to help.

Very accommodating staff and generous breakfast, it was a lovely homely stay and close to the centre of town.

The hotel was wonderful and the staff were amazingly accommodating. The only downside was having to be let out and let in every time we wanted to leave or return. Offering guests a key to the gate would be a good idea.

The word hotel is a little misleading, it is a private guesthouse where you ring a bell to get in and take your shoes off before entering. Beds could be more comfortable.

Green oasis in the heart of Konya. Just five minutes on foot to the Mevlana Museum and 10 minutes to the old market. The owners are very friendly and doing their best to make your stay comfortable. Hotel is very authentic and clean. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. Also, don’t miss their shop with a great selection of handmade rugs!

you can feel that the home- hotel itself is welcoming, as it was a turkish home in the past. The place is traditional and I felt that this is my house or a warm place I belong to. The hotel is really a precuous place and only people who appreciate home will feel it.

The host, Muammer, is a gentleman. The immediate surrounding area is under construction, and may be a little challenging for a female traveling alone, only walking back at night that is, but overall it’s a wonderful place with a wonderful host. Breakfast was really good. I loved staying there. Next time I visit, I’m sure the construction is going to be completed, and we will have a bunch of beautiful shops right outside of the door. Overall 5++*****

The hotel was in a great location - very central and near Konya’s sites, as well as being easy to reach Catalhoyuk. The owner and his family were perfect hosts, helping us out whenever required, providing tasty breakfasts and offering excursion and restaurant advice.

Excellent on everything, but beds. A little too firm and would love an additional pillow. That is nitpicking as in the middle of Turkey where preferences for mattress firmness might differ! Owners work so hard to make you comfortable and enjoy the stay! Stay 2-3 nights and visit Neolithic site of Cataholyuk. The museum at site is world class. Wish we had stayed another day! Also visited largest wooden mosque in Beshehir, on owner’s advice wonderful suggestion!

I spent two nights at the Konya Dervish Hotel last week and really enjoyed it. The location couldn’t be better, it’s right behind the Mevlana Museum, where Rumi’s tomb is. All the other main sights in Konya are within easy walking distance too. I was actually surprised by how clean, well-organised and calm the city is. It has a really pleasant feel to it. The hotel itself is small but very welcoming. The owner, Muamar, is a kind and helpful man, and the lady who prepares the breakfast is also very friendly. They serve a proper Turkish breakfast with lots of choice, a great way to start the day. My room was on the front side of the house, it was spacious, quiet, and very comfortable. I slept really well. Around sunset (about 5.30) you do hear the call to prayer quite clearly, it’s nearby. But that’s part of the atmosphere in a religious city like Konya! If you’re visiting the Mevlana Museum or other Rumi-related places, this is the perfect place to stay. I’d definitely recommend it.

Simple breakfast with scramble eggs. To leave and enter the hotel, you need to call the staff to open the gate. I feel secured staying in that hotel. No shoes allowed inside the hotel into the rooms, which assured me the floor inside my room are clean.

This vintage house is amazing, very beautiful, quiet, and spacious. The location is also excellent, within walking distance to all the sights, bazar, and restaurants around. The host Muammer is very kind, friendly, and patient. He has offered us great choices regarding local restaurants and fruit markets, and he also helped us with booking buses and other things. The people here in Konya are extremely nice and friendly, and the pace of life here is just as gentle. We have truly enjoyed our time here in Konya. And we will also highly recommend the Dervish Hotel to everyone!

There is a lot of construction in the neighborhood which is unattractive. However, there was no noise or other inconvenience.

To say we loved the Konya Dervish hotel would be an understatement. It is a small, boutique hotel and honestly, we felt like we were with family. It is a beautiful, historical hotel filled with warmth, care and love. The rooms, the grounds, the people are all perfect! You can feel the passion and dedication of the owner and the staff from the moment you reserve a room to the time you bid your farewells. The breakfast is an incredible spread of fresh fruit, breads, veggies, cheeses. It was more than we could ever eat and delicious. The hotel is walking distance to the Mevlana museum. We had amazing conversations with Muammer, one of the owners and are so incredibly humbled and grateful for his hospitality and kindness. This hotel deserves an A++ and we cannot wait to return. Konya and the Konya Dervish Hotel stole our hearts.

Many thanks to Konya Dervish Hotel for a wonderful time in this very special city. The building is beautiful, comfortable and clean, and there is no smoking inside. The location is amazing - it's so close to the major sites in town! Breakfast is nice, and they even have gluten-free bread. The owners are very lovely, and we felt at home almost right away!

The location was very central for the Dervish museum and the town. Exceptionally renovated old mansion. Very helpful owner and well managed hotel.

The breakfast was amazing. 8 feet of counter space covered in fresh fruits, cheeses, breads, olives, etc. The location was very convenient, right between the Mevlâna Kültür Center and the Mevlâna Museum. The room was clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The staff were very nice. They were helpful in calling a taxi when we left.

An Ottoman house lovingly restored as a boutique hotel. The host was very helpful, and gave us excellent recommendations for restaurants and for places to visit. Konya is both a large modern city and a city with deep history, but the highlight is the connection to Rumi. His tomb is there and the Mevlana cultural center is a major tourist center within easy walking distance of the hotel. The hotel got us tickets for a whirling dervish performance

Very well maintained property, run extremely efficiently. The property is a heritage building, but beautifully maintained. Our room was surprisingly large for an old property, and had all the conveniences we needed. Located at a very convenient walking distance from the Mevlana museum & information centre. Sumptuous breakfast and very friendly and warm service. It's also helpful that the manager (owner?) speaks excellent English and is extremely personable & helpful.

This was one of the best stays I've had. A beautiful Ottomon style guest house with lush carpets everywhere and a fantastic Turkish style Breakfast with fresh coffee, fruits, nuts, cheeses and delicious breads and other local condiments. The host was exceptional with his help, hospitality, local tips, knowledge and care. They also organised local taxis and trips for us. Location is also great, few minutes walk from Rumi Museum and the whole old city. Thank you for sharing your culture and experiences so generously. Konya is a lovely city. I would love to come back and stay here again.

Friendly and helpful staff. There is lots of public parking around the building. The room was nice. Spacious and decorated in an antique way. The mechanism to flush the toilet was sticking and the water would run if you didn’t push it up manually. The shower door was extremely difficult to open. There should also be a small table to put objects on near the sink that is only a bowl. Breakfast was minimalistic. Other than hard boiled eggs there weren’t any hot items. Overall nice place just a few bathroom oddities.
