We waited an hour to check in because hotel could not verify their payment from expedia. Toilet and shower backed up resulting in sewer smell in entire room.

Overall experience was great. There are some areas that need to be improved but me and my family are very satisfied with facility, food and the room options. I’ll definitely come back!

During my stay, the front desk only activated my room key for one night, which caused problems the next day when trying to access my room and making the payments. It has now been six days since I checked out, and I am still waiting for the refund of the amount that was held at check-in. I would appreciate it if you could resolve this matter as soon as possible.

Very clean and comfortable only problem vaccine the leaving room didn’t work, also the restaurants in the facility took for ever to get your order and bring the food

Check-in was awful, it was scheduled for 3pm but we didn’t get our room till about 6pm. I requested cleaning service for the room along with new towels, they never came to clean and when they finally showed up with the towels said they could only provide us with 2/4, even though we were 4 guests. Reception hours aren't 24hrs, hours are from 8-10pm, but when I went in the morning no one arrived until 8:30am. The service at the Maria restaurant was also awful, took forever to get service and when we did finally get around to ordering we waited for over an hour and a half, eventually had to cancel the order and go elsewhere.

Comfortable area 10/10

Hotel was great! We stayed at the bungalows. Very nice, the only thing was the beds are very stiff other than that the food was amazing. Just make sure you order quick because it does take a little while to get your food.

Best expérience in the area with not just beautiful facilities and very spacious and attractive villa, but also great value with getting a consumption credit for the value of your stay when renting a 2 or 3 bedroom villa.... My family loved it, can't wait to come back.

I loved the ocean view and the villa we rented was beautiful. Food was great also. Did not like that we were misled to believe the villa was 100% consumable. The reception informed us that all reservations done via expedia.com do not qualify for this offer. Did not care to give us any discount or any help. They wanted us to cancel our expedia booking and pay them cash. They insisted on receiving $300 as a hold instead of $200 as stated on expedia’s website. Got to the villa and the second day the kitchen had a foul smell, and we did not have hot water for two days.

We stayed in a 2-bedroom villa and it was exceptionally nice. We had our own private pool which was cleaned by the staff during our stay. They went above and beyond to make our stay more enjoyable, like organizing a golf cart and taxis for us. Highly recommend!

Staff is well mannered and willing to help. In fact, both the reception receptionist team and security staff made it a point to make my family feel well taken care of. An example of this was ensuring that we found a place for takeout for dinner on her first day visiting. Thank you, Willy and Juan for your exceptional service.

Complained about no hot water. Received the final bill for $40 for two and bracelets that we were never told needed to be returned. Bad communication at check-in

It’s was nice, I didn’t have any issues while I was there. The villa was clean spacious and excellent staff, ,they were polite and accommodating. I will be definitely coming back.

The property is very pretty. Service was amazing. Food is ok. We had a good time.

My only concert was, the place needs some upgrades. Fans outside was rusty, bathtub was leaking, but above all, my staying was great, easy check in, very friendly employees, very spacious and very clean. The cleaners were super friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be coming back.

The ocean view it’s not at the pictures

This villa had a beautiful location overlooking the ocean. The Maria restaurant directly next door had nice meals and sunset dining. The difficulty of the restaurant next door was that it was loud in the evenings (music, dishes and staff talking, singing). This villa is in need of much attention especially for the price they are asking for daily rental. It is bare bones inside and minimal care has been taken with upkeep. Yard never private as staff is always coming by to clean pool or garden in and out all day. One word of caution…when checking they put a $1000 hold on our credit card which was not a concern however upon check out we were told upon inspection where each item of the home was inventoried to ensure we didn’t steal anything, we were told that the mattresses had urine stains and that our children (who are 13 and 15) “pee peed” in the beds. I assured them my teens have not wet the bed in a decade and upon showing them every matress even my own had urine stains they finally agreed and released my $1000 back to my credit card. The room with the 2 queens had the worst urine stained mattresses I’ve ever seen. Before leaving my wife always helps the staff and fully strips the beds. I was embarrassed being blamed and realized they must not remove the cotton mattress topper if they did not know the stains were there. This is a whole other hygiene issue if that is the case. FYI make them show you the mattresses upon check in they don’t try to charge you.

This was my second stay in six months. There was noticeable wear on the furniture and my unit had lighting issues along with an ant infestation. I noticed that a couple made it back to my home. I’m not likely to return.

Everything was excellent about this property. I didn’t find anything lacking. I will definitely stay here again next time.

The property is absolutely beautiful! The pool and rooms and everything. However, the water in the showers felt like beach water. It was clear that the water wasn't filtered. But outside of that it was extremely calming and relaxing. The restaurant at the resort was also beautiful!

Villa was large and nice in a quiet neighborhood. Very convient to Sosua and surrounding areas. Staff was super helpful and guest friendly. S/O to Tito at the front desk, he took the time to make sure we had everything we needed.

Espectacular

Location was nice, the food took an hour to two hours. Check in was a headache, first they told us that check in was not at 3 but 6, that in the website says 3 bit they don’t have to give the room until 6. Also they charge the same amount for the room you are staying as a deposit to make sure there is nothing missing from the property. Never heard of the same amount put on hold as a deposit to get it cleared from 3-6 days.

Everything was ok the only thing that we don’t like was that the property need a little more of maintenance but other than that was very good.

Villas were beautiful ...what you see in the pictures is what you get upon arrival. Only slight issue was the pay as you go. You can really get carried away ordering food and drinking. It would be great if they add an all inclusive option.

Everything you need to spend time with the family in a private space ,love it

Service was good, place was clean, pool was nice, the villa lay out was great. Things we did not like about this place is that there is no walkways or beach as promoted or shown in photo, we where told by guard that walkway was closed because it is now private. Check in and check out was very slow process. The dollar exchange value was higher than the actual value, which overcharged approximately $180 more.

Property was amazing

The Good. We had a 2 bedroom 2 1/2 bath villa on the row back from the ocean and it was lovely. It was well appointed, good quality and with a great pool. Surprisingly no smoke detectors. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. WhatsApp is used for everything so essential to have. They organized excursions for us on WhatsApp and food delivery from Maria's. Cash is essential and US$ works well so bring a decent amount. Maria's restaurant was also excellent. Everything from breakfast to sushi. All the staff were lovely and it is in a great spot overlooking the ocean. The Bad. Maria's is the only restaurant! Even though it will say there are 3 restaurants, one is closed down and the other is in the separate waterpark. The beach was shut the entire time we were there. The water was too dangerous to go into. This was a major disappointment. If you are looking for a 'beach vacation' this may not be the place for you. It was incredibly quiet for our entire week. There were rare occasions when my son had kids to play with but mostly there wasn't a soul about. The ocean walkway is closed and the waterpark is in much need of TLC. The Ugly. Building work, lots of it. If it was just the aesthetics then ok but it is the constant noise. All you could hear were jack hammers, drills and other machinery. It started early and one evening I complained because they were still grinding at gone 10pm for the second night in a row.

the Property was beautiful and very clean. a few others decided to join our stay and they were Very accommodating. Jairo is a Gem. He helped me change my reservations and was great all through out. I will definitely recommend this property to family and friends. And I will definitely be back !! thank you ! the only thing I could say was lack of choices for Restaurants, but Maria restaurant was GREAT!!!!!!!!

Property is under construction, does not look like the pictures, the water park needs a lot of updating, the apartment we rented was ok but nobody came to clean for our 3 days stay. Not worth the price

We enjoyed our stay. There were a few hiccups as the villa was not ready on time and both TVs in the bedroom did not work. The staff was great and allowed us to have a late checkout. I wished there were more dining options. Overall I felt safe and had a pleasant stay.

Restaurant maría food was really good. Also friendly people very relaxing.

Not worth for the price

Impressive accomodation. Excellent service and friendliness. Great sense of safety, due to security on-site( gated entrance). Will make this our yearly vacation spot without any doubt. Convenient location to airport and restaurant.

The villa was beautiful. It was clean and the ocean view was breathtaking however our experience checking in was horrible. Upon arrival we were being charged extra deposits etc without us being warned in our Expedia confirmation for our confirmed stay. The deposit information was unclear and was clearly specifying for a 3 or more day stay. I think this business needs to rewrite their deposit policies specifically according to each nights stay.

Nice oceanfront villa with great view. Friendly staff. Everything was great. The only issues were: very slow check in process. Property overcharged me around $150 over the rate quoted by Expedia since they can not run credit card machine in $US and they use very high conversion rate. Fire ants were a problem. Pest control needs to be done.

Loved our time at this resort. No problem social distancing here lots of space to roam. Temperature checks and hand sanitizer upon entering restaurants- all employees wore masks and very conscious of cleaning resort and reducing and preventing the spread of COVID 19. We stayed in an apartment in the castle and it was really nice and close to resort amenities but we enjoyed renting a golf cart to cruise around the expansive grounds anyways. The beach was private and the ocean walk and views are amazing!

Beautiful place to relax. Everything was clean. The only thing was that I thought the breakfast was included, but at the reception they told me that; it wasn't include it in my reservation. I was very disappointed. But the employees were very friendly. The spa was wonderful. I had the best massage ever 😁 planning to go next year.

The grounds were very nice with nice pools, the restaurant was in a beautiful location but often ran out of certain foods. The apt we rented was nice and spacious. The kitchen functional but small. We ran out of water (water bottle) and there was none to buy on site. We had to go out of the resort and find our own. And the running water was shut off a few times during our stay. Otherwise a beautiful place.

It was very modern and clean. Excelent views. The villa is very spacious. And the decoration is wonderful.

The one bedroom apt. was very clean, and had all of the amenities such as large fridge, electric stove with oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, blender, toaster etc. It also has a washer and dryer. the staff is very accommodating, the pools and the grounds are well kept. The restaurants are nice. And the atmosphere throughout the property is very chill and not overly crowded.

Photos on Expedia was 100% deceiving. Bait and switch. I booked 1 king bedroom suite. The photo of the room was a villa style with private pool and backyard. The actually room was an apartment building with a share pool. However the toilet starting gushing with water all over the floor so they upgraded us for free to a 2 bedrooms villa with private pool just like the photo of the 1 bedroom that i thought i had. Expedia or the hotel needs to change the false photo. The pool at the apartment was dirty. The pool at the villa was clean.

Everything was just perfect, the furnitures and everything else inside the village. The personal that works for the complex is incredible no matter the time or what you asked them, they always was there to help. Yomayra Vicente was so profesional and amazing hosted she made me feel like I was home, Jairol and the other boys was incredibles. The best experience ever, Thank you guys for all

Amazing stay and staff,however I caution others dont take or loose regelur towels it cost me $18usd for missing regular towel I've never experienced this anywhere else

I arrived in the evening hours and they were able to accommodate me with a late check in, No problem. Had issue with no hot water on the first day but it was taken care the very next day after letting them know. Overall, very beautiful villas. Had a pleasant stay.

Amazing stay at the penthouse. I really recommend it.

Overall the physical attributes of the property, e.g. location, cleanliness, furnishings, and etc were excellent. Exceeded expectations. The property seems relatively new. My biggest issue was I found the check-in procedure wanting and check-out dreadful. I prepaid for the evening I stayed on the property over 2 full months prior to my arrival. Upon check-in the clerk insisted I pay the full evening price with the condition it would be refunded upon check out. The clerk acknowledged I had already prepaid for my stay as well. Part of my challenge is the facility already had my credit card so there was already some level of security for any incidentals. The check-out procedure was even worse. I tried to settle my bill about 1/2 hour before my transportation arrived. I was informed by the front desk I needed to return 10 minutes before check-out and they would also have to check the room for damages. So effectively, you had to vacate the premise upon check out. More egregious in my mind is the fact I was held hostage while the rental was checked for damage. Adding just a bit more insult was the fact the clerk had to charge my credit card a nominal amount in order to process the credit. I certainly can appreciate the need to protect against damage to the rental. I'm not so sure the best way to do that. However, I don't like to be treated with the assumption I'm going to damage property particularly given the room rate.

This property has security, its very clean, its close to the beach, and the towns of Sosua and Cabarete. There are several resturants, pools and kids activites on the property. The hotel staff and very professional, helpful and friendly. The only thing I would correct is Expedia list free breakfast on the property’s advertising. When I booked the reservation it made no mention of free breakfast and so it was not included when I got there. Its a small miscommunication between Expedia and the property that needs to be corrected. Overall great place to stay.
