Hotel Tudanca Aranda II

Good stop off, rooms a little tired but overall good. Staff very friendly

As before

Overall an excellent stay and we have booked for our return journey

Muy buen hotel especialmente si vais viajando con Tesla o coche eléctrico. Desayuno espectacular!

Quiet place

As always and for the past 10+ years. Real velue for money UK hotels Nedd to learn

Nothing around. Went out to eat where there were more opinions, only one restaurant within 5km. The room was ok for the price breakfast was good. One of the reception staff members were not to willing to answer questions. Her counterpart was more helpful.

Food options decent enough, comfy bed. Great Wi fi pick up. Plenty of parking etc. Rooms now badly need an upgrade along with bathroom but overall not bad VFM and so handy for the motorway to and from Santander ferry.

We thought we’d booked into the 4* hotel but only into the 2* but this is absolutely fine! A bit smaller room and no bath only a shower which is ideal for us. Dinner bed & breakfast deal good value and nice.

Convenient stop over on our journey from Benalmadena to Santander. Good choice of meal options. Good parking for our car & trailer. Please visit DocksideGlyn on YouTube. Some nice videos and it will help a little towards my ambition of raising money for Cancer Research.

Great stayover for Santander ferry. Staff friendly, restaurant, snack bar, EV and Tesla charging on site . Would recommend

Its a good one night stop over in a motorway service station.

Impressive reception hall and breakfast venue. Very historical.

Loved the presence of Tesla chargers

Clean & efficient

Warm welcome, close to motorway plenty of parking and great service in the food hall

The hotel is situated in a perfect position when driving from the top to the bottom of Spain. However, although the rooms are clean they are very ‘tired’ and require some work.on this occasion we stayed in a different part of the hotel and the neighbours were very noisy, haven’t suffered from this problem before and have stayed many times.

Excellent

Very good breakfast. Secure parking with covered area. Separate restaurant for lunch and dinner with delicious menu and reasonable prices. Recommend!

As above

Near motorway, petrol station next door, ideal overnight stop.

Overall an other nice stay at the TUDANCA. Do feel the rooms are now in need of a serious upgrade. I know the room rate is reasonable but even so. Get the flooring sorted and new bathrooms and we’re good to go again. Cheers John&Denise MORAN

Excellent hotel in a converted winery. The shower cubicle could be renewed but otherwise clean. Would suggest a kettle in the room.

Stay at the tudanca eveytime we are en-route to Santander for the ferry to U.K. serves its purpose perfectly. Will stop again for sure.

We have stayed on the hotel other occasions and it is excellent but this time we were in the Anex rooms. They needed refurbishment. They were very clean but very tired. Next time we will definitely make sure we get a room in the main hotel.

Very nice hotel with very comfortable beds.

The 2nd time we've stayed here and we weren't disappointed at all. Everything about the hotel is 1st class. The beautiful reception area is more like a ballroom and the restaurant while in the adjacent services is also top notch. The hotel was great value for money and we would plan a journey to enable us to stay again on the way.

The location is excellent next to picturesque Fuentespina. The lobby is impressive and parking is easy. The room was austere but clean and economical. The service was efficient.

Adequate for the night en route to the ferry

2 star building attached to a 4 star hotel. Very outdated, room full of cobwebs. Bedding clean, but room generally in need of painting and a refubr. Entrance riad to gatage closed so lorries went through car park. Attached restaurants very expensive.

Like a motel. Small but adequate for 2 adults and 2 dogs. Pet friendly. Clean and comfortable. Restaurant and cafe separate, with plenty of choices of food.

Overnight stopover

Information about dog area, we sat outside with our dog for a drink but the dog area was closed. It was very cold BUT we had to eat so ordered food for outside, the young lady then told us there was an area INSIDE we could eat in with our dog. Wish we had known this from the start.

Made to feel really welcome, second visit through spain over the month. Restaurant was amazing and the shop has amazing wine produced by them. Will always be our stopover venue through from ferry to Guardamar.

Excellent position for travelling, we have stayed here a few times now with our two dogs. It is always clean. The staff are friendly, and although the pet friendly accommodation is quite basic, it is very good value for money.

Great stop over on journey from UK to Costa del Sol. Had everything we needed including secure parking and free wine tasting. Staff extremely friendly and helpful.

We were made to feel most welcome and the service was exceptional; forget the star rating, it’s 5 stars for experience. Greta facilities and restaurant, cafe for less formal dining. We will stay again at the end of our holiday on way back to boat. I would recommend to anyone wanting a stop over which is family and pet orientated. Thank you sincerely for making myself and Vicky so welcome.

Great stop over hotel with our 2 dogs. On site restaurant with discount for residents. Able to have breakfast with dog on terrace. Will be using again.

We have stayed at this hotel several times. The rooms are basic but reasonably priced and ideal for a stop over while travelling with 2 dogs

Stayed in February found not enough bedding only sheet and blanket in wardrobe

Great location for Santander and Bilbao. Lots of free parking and for 10€ you can park in the secure underground car park. 15% discount voucher for the Restaurant Grill. Spa, fuel and cafeteria on site and within a couple of hundred metres from the main route but very quiet at night. The room we got was a pet friendly room with no charges for the dog, and was warm and comfortable. Free WIFI. All the staff were always very helpful and the food and drink were good and at a decent price.

Very convenient, good price, good food options & shop.

Great all round

The rooms are ok, but such a nice and large property, should have a rooms upgrade, Breakfast was great, and the area where it’s serve very nice and traditional.

Well I have stayed here before more than once and have been satisfied with all the aspects. Last time I stayed our room shower was cracked and wobbled when you stood on it and when I checked out I mentioned this and was told that it would be looked at immediately. By chance I was assigned the same room on my return 8 weeks later to find nothing had changed. Dissappointed

The whole hotel needs updating

Very convenient- just off motorway, but quiet. Restaurant & cafeteria on site.

What a grest stay. Used this hotel as an overnight stopover on our way to Santander. The room although basic was extremely clean with comfortable beds. The on site restaurant (not in the hotel) was superb.

This is our third stay at this hotel. It’s very convenient for travelling. Reasonably priced, good for us with our two dogs . Staff are friendly and helpful. Accommodation for dog owners is very basic but clean and adequate for a nights stopover

For a road handy hotel it was very quiet. But there was no early—before 7am—breakfast to suit travellers. The food and coffee when available was excellent. There was a floor repair issue uncomfortably close to the bed. But overall it was good value.

This is the second time we have stayed at this lovely hotel!! The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is good and you have the choice of using the restaurant or cafeteria. The dog friendly rooms are basic, but clean, spacious and reasonably priced

It is a clean Hotel, and the service is nice and friendly . Reception is very accommodating.

Convenient as an overnight stop off on our way to and from Santander for the ferry. Dog friendly

Great stop of en route to Santander

Everything you expect for a small budget.

Perfect overnight stop on way to southern Spain

Cheap and cheerful. Very clean. Tired shower in bathroom.

An excellent stop over. Good bar and restaurant. Breakfast good choices.

Very pleasant stay nice breakfast, did go to the Restaurant next door not to impressed food serve on cold plate had to send steak back undercooked and was still uncooked when returned !!!

Excellent position for travelling at the side of the the motorway. The food although a little bit more expensive, is very good. The spa is a good place to relax, All the staff are very helpful and friendly. We will definitely visit again

This hotel is situated in a perfect location for a stop off from the motorway. It is very well serviced with fuel, plenty of free parking, cafeteria and restaurant. The room is standard but with everything you need apart from tea and coffee making facilities. Everything was super clean including all the linen. Despite our room facing towards the motorway there was no noise whatsoever – excellent double glazing!. We had an excellent nights sleep due to the comfortable temperature afforded by the air-conditioning. Breakfast was a typical Spanish buffet style but adequate.

Clean, on the road home, bad food experience , hot food starts at eight, happy service doesn't start at all !!

Value for money ,ideal for ferry travel anywhere south of spain

The location of hotel was straight of the highway, no messing around, nice restaurant on site ,all staff spoke English and were very helpful.

Friendly staff, easily accessible en route to Santander for the ferry. We’ll signposted pet friendly and will definitely use again.

Gre as t view free electric fast wi-fi home from home

Stayed before & once again enjoyed our visit would recommend to anyone only problem this time was the internet was poor didn’t complain as to tired to contact reception

Very clean, warm, wonderful supply hot water. Very convenient stop next to motorway (but not at all noisy) en route to ferry. Restaurant rather expensive & cafeteria not that good- food was cold. Will use again.

We have stayed at this hotel many times over the years on our way to & from the Costa del sol , we find it very convenient, being close to the motorway. Very quiet , especially this time , spacious room , nice size bathroom , comfy bed , with beautiful clean bed linen. Our only criticism, the laminate floor round the outside of the bathroom needs replacing, same in most of the rooms we have stayed in the past , obviously a leak from the shower cubicle. Wi-fi is also very good .

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Areas for walking our dog were good. There looked good places on site for meals but the only place to eat and have our dog with us was outside. This would be fine if the weather was warm but with bad weather you are stuck. The room was basic bur clean .

Chosen due its convenience for a “next day” drive to Santander for the ferry, it was perfect. We stayed in the 2 star hotel section which was clean, comfortable and functional. Dinner in the restaurant was exceptional with wonderful food and brilliant service. Breakfast was in the main hotel building - an amazing structure. And all of this at a very competitive price.

Excellent

Great stay just off the Autovia -great for the ferry.

Room was ok for over night stop and the cafe was ok for breakfast and dinner

strongly recommend anyone as it is good value, comfortable, with Bath tube + Shower and good Parking area.

A great stopover on the way back from Southern Spain to Santander, very convenient, only a minute off the motorway and quiet. Plenty of parking, did not use the restaurant so can’t comment on that.

Nice clean room , everything worked , helpful and friendly reception, good value , we were just passing through so ideal location for us

Very good as usual

Top marks in everything says it all, Excellent breakfast and service from all staff concerned, Will definitely visit again,

As you walk into the reception it looks amazing, the appearance is very nice. When you reach your room you know It's not going to be as good. The flooring was chipped and broken, so no walking with nothing on your feet. The decor was very dated and grubby, the curtains were the same, the bed was rock hard and we both suffered back pain for days, very basic and below a budget hotels standards. The breakfast was good, the staff were very friendly but we will not be staying here again.

As usual we were very pleased with this hotel. Always feel welcome. Breakfast always exceptionally good. Tiny criticism the toaster takes ages and doesn't really toast even then

everything was spot on

Super place, we wanted dog friendly and got it, restaurant a bit pricey

Uncomfortable bed, dirty bathroom floors. You get what you pay for.

Overnight stay on way to Santander. Comfortable distance to drive. Room excellent, staff pleasant and helpful. Dining room meals rather expensive but there is a Motorway Service type café/restaurant where you can get a meal. Sunday night is always difficult to find restaurants open when travelling so this hotel makes it easy. Have stayed before and will stay again when travelling in Spain.

We can bring our dog Lots of parking very nice helpful staff

We have stayed in the motel part many times, staff are very friendly, helpful & speak good English, rooms are spacious , clean white bedding ( first thing my wife looks for) good size bathroom, Wi-Fi is not as good as other hotels , could be due to the area, hotel is convenient from the motorway, but not noisy

Would have liked one channel of TVs in English. Nice and warm. Dog friendly Foood available Have booked for return journey.

Parking right by accomidation. Lovely and warm. Would have liked 1 English speaking channel on TVs. Great that it's dog friendly.

Ideal for stops from ferry to costa's. We have stopped 3 times now, great place for the dogs,

Very helpfull staff, English speaking, good food, clean and quiet and very easy access from motorway.

Great Hotel. Treated well by all the staff. Was a good stop-over

Good

We always use this hotel on route down to Andalusia. Clean, spacious and cheap. Breakfast is good and served with a smile by the welcoming staff

The hotel room was excellent and the setting in the vineyard was lovely. However the restaurant and cafeteria were separate from the main building and there was no bar or outside seating area .Overall a great overnight stopover and we will stay here again.

We always stop at aTudanca 4*. The 2* is not nearly so comfortable. Breakfast excellent choice and nothing too much trouble. Always helpful

Great stopoff hotel... Will stay again

Not a good deal like last year. No tissues, tea/coffee in room. No fridge. We had all this last year for same price. In new wing this time and the bathroom needs a refit! TV is miniscule. No extra pillows. Dissapointed.

ideal stopover on way to south or northern spain.

Restaurant very expensive even have to pay for bread.
