Lago Viedma B&B

Very friendly and helpful staff. Use of kitchen to make drinks etc. Great location and good value for money in el Chalten (which is generally rather expensive).

We had a lovely stay. The B&B was cosy and tastefully decorated. The owners were very nice and had great recommendations on places to eat nearby. We enjoyed homemade breakfast and afternoon tea. The bed was comfortable. The neighbourhood was safe and close to restaurants. We got a boxed lunch from them which came in a nice reusable bag. It included a delicious alfajore from the best place called Chaltenos! Would definitely recommend!

A beautiful little B&B with fantastic service and a personal touch. Lina looked after us from the moment we stepped into the door until we left. It is a cosy place with just 4 rooms and has a really homely feel. Breakfast each morning was delicious. I would highly recommend to other travellers visiting El Chalten as it is within easy reach of the bus station, evening eateries and the hiking trails.

Wonderful welcome and great service throughout our staff. A real treat. We could not be more pleased with our choice of place to stay. Recommendations on places to eat and walks were all great.

Cozzy beautiful place with amazing breakfast and amazing hosts

Amazing owner that was super helpful and kind. Very cute house and cosy rooms. Definitely recommend!

Very clean. Good breakfast. Friendly front desk. Highly recommended by this guest

The location, and service were amazing, Lina was very helpful in any advice I had about hikes and places to eat, I highly recommend this place to stay in Chalten

Really cosy B&B with great and friendly owners. Both owners help you around and share really useful tips about restaurants, hiking, weather predictions,...

It was a warm and inviting environment, and the co-owners provided tips and suggestions to make our stay better. The homemade breads at breakfast were a nice touch.

Very friendly and hospitable owners. When she found out I was gluten free, she produced three alternative options for breakfast. Best WiFi of all the places we've been in Argentina. Lent us trekking poles. Arranged a shuttle so we could do the most amazing one-way hike past glaciers and the Fitz Roy. Only 4 rooms, so cozy with a communal sitting area for breakfast. Very clean and nice touches. Only issue was that the room was small.

Agustina and Lina are wonderful hosts! The inn is neat and tidy and in a great location, with great access to the main street and trailheads. Breakfast was terrific. An adorable place to stay in El Chalten!

Great B&B, cosy and warm. Conveniently located. You could tell there was much care taken to making sure everything went smoothly - from the homemade breakfasts to helping arrange transfers. We would definitely stay again.

Cozy and warm place. The owner of this place is so attentive and make me feel home

Agustin and Lina are super hosts. The breakfasts included everything you could want, eggs, cereal and homemade bread. They advised us where to hike and provided excellent restaurant advice. If you want to stay at a small, friendly place, I would highly recommend staying here.

The only reason I gave comfort a lower score was because it was unusually hot and it was hard to get air movement in our room. Easy walking distance to everything and owners friendly and helpful

Bel hébergement a El Chalten.

Charming hospitality. Delicious breakfast with home baking and lots of helpful advice about walking trails.

Very helpful staff, personaliseren attention, good breakfast

The stay was amazing the host took such good care of us the eggs and bacon in the morning were a delicious start to the day. The room was cozy and the location was perfect to get us where we needed to go, honestly every hostel is in a good location in El Chalten

The hotel was very comfortable, clean, with homely ambiance and close to the centre of town. Agostina and Lena were the perfect hosts....providing information for local hiking and restaurants...not only in El Chalten, El Calafate, but also Torres Del Paine. The breakfast was excellent.

Thank you for everything, Augustina and Lina.

Great host and location. Cute house with comfortable beds.

This B&B was the best stay we had for our entire trip through Patagonia and Buenos Aires. The host couple was extremely helpful with planning out our day hiking and packed us a nice lunch for the trails. Breakfast was delicious and the room was cozy and cute. Their attention to every detail was just perfect.

Exceptional helpful and friendly host. She helped us plan what to do during our stay in El Chalten, and even lent us hiking poles. The additional lunchbox prepared was yummy and in generous portion. This B&B only has a few rooms but it feels cozy and is located in a quiet street but still within short walking distance to restaurants, general stores, starting points for the various treks. We were able to walk to this B&B from the bus terminal. The hot water in the shower was a bit funny but it does get really hot. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend!

This is the perfect hotel for exploring El Chalten. The hosts had some great tips for nearby hiking. This was one of the best places we stayed at in our 6 weeks through South America. Fantastic breakfast too!

Hotel Lago Viedma is centrally located (about 10 minute walk from the bus station) and close to restaurants, bars and trailhead for Fitz Roy. The B&B is really cozy and has lots of charm. Augustina had great suggestions for our stay in town: tips for hiking the trail, restaurant recomendations, etc. Breakfast was really tasty and homemade. Would highly recommend!

Tolle Unterkunft, würde jederzeit wieder dorthin gehen.

The hosts are sooo nice and friendly, the hostel is super clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. We highly recommend this hotesl and will definitely return for our next vaication in Argentina.

Wonderful staff, cosy hosteria and wonderful bed sheets but a bit expensive for the room size.

a cozy and affordable base for hiking in El Chalten. it's a small hostel but rooms have their own bathroom, without it feeling too compact for breakfast, the owners Lina and Agustina serve the regular stuff other hotels offer, with fewer selections but have what you need: cereal, bread, coffee, and eggs cooked to how you like, plus homemade pastries such as muffins, coconut bread, etc. it's in the middle of the town, about a 10-15 min walk from the bus terminal, and same towards the trail entrance for fitz roy, chorillo del salto, cerro torre.. and just a block away from the town's ice cream shop and restaurants. there's also a convenience store at the end of the block. The owners were very helpful in giving tips/suggestions, arranging transfers, felt reassuring especially for a solo traveler like me. And they were also flexible, I had to leave early on my checkout and Lina woke up early to serve breakfast even when I only asked for a piece of bread before I leave, that was very thoughtful of her. Can't beat the price and service of my 4-night stay, would definitely stay here again.

I highly reccommend this place. Agustina and Lina made our stay a great experience. They were very patient in answering my questions, extended our check out time and even served breakfast after the stated time:) The place only have 4 rooms so it felt like a home.
