Swimmingpool und Banio kostenpflichtig. Das Hotel ist nur für Reisende mit PKW (oder Motorrad) geeignet, da es abseits von Formia liegt. Die Umgegend ist nicht zum Besichtigen oder Ausgehen geeignet.

Läget, stranden, rummet med havsutsikt. Att vi fick checka ut lite senare pga sjukdom.

Frukosten, öppen tiden för strand och pool - längre öppet tider på em/kväll till kl 19-20. Man äter sen middag i Italien. Att rökning var tillåtet på balkongen. Rummet brevid oss rökt mycket på balkongen, jag hade svårt att sitta på vår balkong. Jag vill se havet som jag betalt extra för. Rökning tillåten ute på en speciell plats. Lite små saker, flera hål i gardinerna, ett dåligt lagat. Toalett pappret uruselt. Eco med inte bra. Restaurangen exceptionellt dyr utifrån vad mad fick och kvaliteten. Vi åt mycket bättre på en fisk restaurang i närheten. När man bokar får man se bild på matsalen i undervåningen. Missvisande då vi bara fick äta en trappa upp. Tycker att man visar upp något på Booking dom inte känns som det visar verkligheten.

Servizio spiaggia. Poca cortesia. Poca disponibilità. Poi sala ristorante, colazione all'esterno, piccionj sui tavoli, sotto i piedi, le sedie sporche, circondati da api. Il giorno dopo fatta colazione all'interno del ristorante. Camera hotel datata. Fon per capelli era antiquato. Il tubo del fon se ne usciva e ti restava nelle mani. Il primo giorno la camera è stata rassettata alle ore 13.15. Abbiamo aspettato fuori seduti nel giardino con temperature assurde di questo periodo che finissero di riassettarla.

Panorama molto bello, ottima cucina, bellissima sala ristorante con vista stupenda.

Camere molto vecchie con infissi da buttare. Totale assenza di ascensore e scale a chiocciola che con la valigia diventano un pericolo. Colazione preparata dall'albergo per la partenza prima dell'ora di colazione veramente imbarazzante neanche dalle suore una cosa così. Peccato perché la struttura potrebbe essere tra le ignori del posto. Ristorante curato ma com trattamento diverso per gli ospiti a seconda se le persone siano del posto o meno. Grazie

Shortly after we arrived, my wife said that it was like stepping back into old Hollywood, and she was absolutely right. The hotel oozes old world charm, the staff are fantastic, the food is great and the location is stunning. We wished that we had booked another few nights. It's the sort of place that you don't want to leave.

Posizione splendida. Spiaggia privata, accessibile soltanto agli ospiti della struttura, ombrelloni distanti tra loro e tutti fronte bagnasciuga. Distanza breve dal centro di Formia, ottima posizione anche per escursioni nei dintorni.

Location incantevole, immersa in un parco . Camera vista mare. Personale gentile

Bagno minuscolo con box doccia minuscolo,, phon che si spegneva dopo 40 secondi di funzionamento (attesa di 1 minuto per successiva accensione). No ascensore in palazzina dove dormivamo (non so nelle altre, la struttura consta di diversi edifici)

Struttura con passato prestigioso ed evocativo. La posizione magnifica, con ville che affacciano su spiaggia privata, tra pini e palme. Anche la piscina è incastonata nel parco che digrada verso la spiaggia. Dunque una atmosfera molto piacevole e gratificante. Il personale della struttura molto disponibile e professionale.

Capisco che gli arredi in stile veneziano fanno parte del contesto e della storia dell'albergo, dunque sono da accettare. Però per un albergo che pretende di essere un grande albergo, non sono accettabili materassi come quello che ho trovato io. Vetusti ed informi, su cui non si riesce a dormire. Anche i bagni così usurati ed obsoleti non sono accettabili in un albergo che vuole porsi ad un livello alto, con tariffe commisurate al livello a cui vuole porsi.

the outdoor space, beach access and beach

Requested twin beds; booked in double; hotel error; they offered another room with a twin in an alcove, which we were not comfortable with; no other offer to accomodate for the hotel error; 1 complimentary access to the beach would have sufficed, their response was; that the unaccepted offer was the only compensation. the bed posts are a bit hazardous, protruding, bumping into them frequently, advise guest accordingly.

Accoglienza eccellente, molto disponibili. Posizione favolosa. Spiaggia a disposizione dell’hotel, comodissima. Colazione ottima . Darei un ottimo .

Una ristrutturazione dell’esterno , renderebbe questa struttura eccellente. Il parcheggio delle auto all’interno della struttura, da un lato, comodo, bruttino come aspetto .

L’arredamento della camera

La posizione sicuramente: la vista mare dalla camera era molto bella. L'atmosfera un po' retrò ha contribuito al fascino della location immersa nel verde e a strapiombo sul mare. La spiaggia privata molto apprezzata come servizio, peccato non fosse inclusa nel soggiorno. Ristorante molto buono, personale disponibile soprattutto i ragazzi in spiaggia e piscina. Possibilità di ordinare cibo e bevande direttamente ai bagnini. Atmosfera incantevole e rilassante. Ci tornerei molto volentieri.

Tutto era "extra" anche l'acqua del minibar. Sia la spiaggia che la piscina non erano inclusi nel soggiorno. Le camere sicuramente andrebbero migliorate un po per il prezzo a notte: numerose crepe e nel bagno, intonaco staccato e il phon a parete tenuto con il nastro adesivo. L'accesso alla spiaggio limitato solo in una fascia oraria (gestiscono l'entrata da un cancello) putroppo dopo le 18:30 non si poteva restare in spiaggia !! L'acqua era sempre "sporca", ma proprio di oggetti, non solo li ma su tutto il litorale, sicuramente non aiuta il fatto che ci sia una barriera frangiflutti che impedisce un ricircolo di acqua come dovrebbe. A mio avviso andrebbe tenuta più pulita dal personale.

Not a four star only a three star

Ottimo hotel, con una eccezionale attitudine al servizio da parte di tutto il personale. Un grande plus è rappresentato dalla spiaggia privata. Raccomandatissimo

Parliamo di uno dei migliori hotel in cui io abbia mai soggiornato, ma forse il decor delle stanze è un po' vetusto e andrebbe leggermente rinfrescato.

This is a fabulous hotel. Lovely spacious rooms. Staff are the best, very helpful & very nice. They bend over backwards to make sure that you have a wonderful holiday. The menu changes every day in the restaurant. We loved our stay here & will definitely return. We recommend it.

Die Anlage und der Strand sind sehr schön.

Nutzung von Strand und Pool kosten extra. Das steht zwar bei der Buchung dabei, aber 36 Euro pro Tag (inkl Sonnenschirm und 2 Liegen) finde ich happig und die Summe erfährt man erst vor Ort. Der hoteleigene Pool kostet 30 am Tag. Da man dort vermutlich Urlaub macht, um am Strand zu chillen ist der Preis pro Nacht höher als erwartet. Richtig schlecht war das Frühstück. Wenig Auswahl und genießbar war eigentlich nur der Cappuccino und der Kuchen. Ans Abendessen habe ich mich gar nicht rangetraut.

Blick vom Balkon ist sehr schön. Essen im Restaurant schmeckt gut. Ist aber nicht günstig.

Frühstück war nichts. Der Pool schließt um 18 Uhr und mal soll hier für Liegen usw. extra bezahlen. Ebenso am Stand unten.

The view and gardens were really good. Once we got over the extra price for using the pool, it was a really good facility. Waiting staff were very helpful at mealtimes, although prices were expensive for tgmhe foos served up.

After paying a lot of money for a 4 star hotel, we were surprised (and disappointed) that you had to pay extra for use of the pool and to use sunbeds and parasols on the beach - 15 euros pp per day! No bar and no kettle in the room.... room was tired, eg light fitting broken and chair stuffing falling out.

Good Room looking over the sea although a very ‘tired’ hotel with fairly prehistoric management. Be prepared to pay ‘extra’ for bedding by the pool or to lie on beds on their private beach

We literally spent 1/2 hour trying to find a person to order a beer. We were either ignored, or sent on wild goose chases. Large functions 100% take priority over normal paying guests. It would be courteous for the hotel to ‘warn’ paying guests if large functions are booked in. Sliced white supermarket factory bread for breakfast… Good evening dinner. 4 star in some ways. 1 star in other ways. We would never stay here again due to such variability in service

La struttura era bellissima, circondata dal verde e con una terrazza sul mare. La stanza aveva il terrazzino fronte mare con una vista incredibile

La spiaggia non attrezzata. Far pagare €40 per due rettili un ombrellone mi è sembrato un po' tanto. Anche nelle stanze c'è bisogno di un po' di manutenzione: porta rotolo rotto, lampadine fulminate. Basterebbe veramente poco per migliorare l'esperienza

Una villa eccezionale sul mare con spiaggia privata, piscina, giardino con vista mare dove poter gustare colazioni aperitivi… Meraviglia!

Le camere dovrebbero esser un po’ aggiornate, anche la scelta dei materiali, materassi, lenzuola, per quanto è bella ed eccezionale la struttura, ci si aspetta qualcosa in più anche dal resto

Beautiful building in amazing location by the sea. Very traditional.

Completely dead - I think that we were the ony guests. No facility for having tea or coffee in the room (at this price more comforts are to be expected) no bar snacks in room. We took tea in the restaurant and were charged €10 despite being guests. There was no bath in the room although that was pictured when I made the choice through booking.com . He room was cold during the day and too hot at night - we had to request to have the heating turned on in the afternoon - this was on a master timer despite there being controls in the room - and the air-conditioning did not work at night when we needed it. We ate in the restaurant (we were encouraged to do this by the staff) but the food was very mediocre and felt as f it had been warmed up from the freezer. It was the most expensive meal of our trip and by far the worst.
