Manuela! Un véritable rayon de soleil, toujours prête à aider et vous accommoder. Le petit déjeuner fait le travail et l’établissement et idéalement situé. Tout se fait à pied!

Notre chambre était très petite. Parfaite pour une escapade de deux jours mais si vous pensez rester une semaine, choisissez une plus grande chambre. Ce n’est pas négatif en soi, seulement un conseil :) quelques petites restaurations au niveau de la salle de bain feraient du bien. Grosso modo, vous passerez un agréable séjour

The welcoming was out standing. The room was spacious, lovely and clean. The location was great and parking in the neighborhood was easy.

The host Manuela was extremely nice, easy to communicate with and she went out of her way to allow us early check in and highlight attractions on a map. She is also in charge of the breakfast in the shared dining room which has a personal, almost family vibes. Highly recommended for short stays!

Perfecte ligging Zéér ruime en aangename suite!

L’hôtel est bien situé très proche du château et du centre historique animé. La chambre était propre et la literie est très confortable. La personne du petit déjeuner était très sympathique et disponible. Le petit déjeuner est très bien avec du choix et des bons produits.

La chambre n’est pas très bien insonorisé et nous entendions les autres personnes de l’hôtel.

The place itself is great- very spacious, clean, and modern! The host, Manuela, was also very welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. I'd definitely recommend this place to others.

Great location, very clean room and value for money. Manuela is amazing, with a very uplifting personality. Breakfast was nice with local pastry and other options.

Although there is a shared fridge to use with cold water. Would be even better if there is a personal small fridge in the room as well.

The place is beautiful and central to a lot of sites and restaurants. The host was super helpful and spent time explaining what’s around and where we should go to enjoy the most of Catania.

Spędziliśmy tu kilka dni zwiedzając poza Katanią również Taorminę i Syrakuzy. Obiekt w idealnej lokalizacji zarówno jako baza wypadowa do zwiedzenia ww. miast jak i samej Katanii. Czysto, codziennie sprzątane, pyszne śniadanko, niespotykana życzliwość i pozytywna energia Manueli - tutejszej gospodyni. Polecam !!!

Great location, friendly staff, small but good breakfast with cappuccino, comfortable beds. Our room had a gorgeous ceiling. Staff helped us navigate the city and gave good recommendations for food and drinks.

Some non-sweet breakfast items (meat and cheese slices, hard boiled eggs) would have been great!

Zentral, in einem Wohnhaus gelegen. In der Straße unter unserem Zimmer/ Balkon waren zwei Lokale, dennoch war es ab 22 Uhr ruhig. Wunderschönes Zimmer mit Stukko, fühlte sich an wie im eigenen Palazzo. Trotz der zentralen Lage war es einfach, einen günstigen Parkplatz in der Nähe zu finden. Ausgesprochen umsichtige Gastgeberin, die uns vor der Abreise noch ein herrliches Frühstück zubereitet hat. Mit Sicherheit eine unserer liebsten Unterkünfte während unseres Aufenthalts in Sizilien.

Il Leone Blu ci ha fatto sentire come a casa - con il bonus di una posizione ottimale per visitare Catania!. Manuela è stata una host eccezionale da prima del nostro arrivo, sino a dopo. Ci ha dato suggerimenti preziosi su cosa vedere e ci ha letteralmente coccolati per tutto il tempo con le sue colazioni memorabili (e le sue attenzioni / premure nei confronti della nostra bimba). Posizione ottima, location mozzafiato in un palazzo storico, tutto super pulito e curato. Assolutamente consigliatissimo! Speriamo di poter tornare presto.

We got upgraded which was a nice surprise . Room was amazing with a balcony , big bedroom and bathroom . Manuela was amazing . Made life easy with check in and breakfast was great . Always available to answer questions .

Da wir eine frühe Abreise hatten, konnten wir uns auf dem Kühlschrank verpflegen und Manuela bracht etwas später noch frische Croissants. Der Frühstückstisch für die später abreisenden Gäste sah aber sehr schön und reichhaltig aus.

Es war alles super, vor allem die Betreuung durch Manuela.

Manuela is truly the definition of Italian hospitality! From the very first moment, she was always there to help us with kindness and a warm smile, making us feel completely at home. The room transports you to another era, with its beautiful ceiling decoration and unique aesthetic that creates a magical atmosphere. At the same time, it offers everything you may need, including a hairdryer, shower gel, shampoo, and a shower cap, while an iron is also available upon request. The location is perfect ,right in the heart of the city, with all the main attractions, restaurants, and cafés just a few minutes away. Manuela also gave us the best insider tips for food, desserts, and places worth visiting, which made our trip even more special. If we visit again, we will definitely choose the same accommodation! 🇮🇹✨

As for the things I didn’t particularly like, the accommodation is located inside an apartment building and not in a standalone property. The entrance, stairs, and walls could definitely use some renovation and fresh paint, as the first impression when entering the building is not the best. However, I completely understand that these are shared/common areas, so this is not really something the B&B itself can control or improve directly.

Manuela‘s place could not be more perfect. It is located within minutes walking of everything in old town Catania. It is beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean, spacious, welcoming, and cozy. Although the street below is busy, you can close the balcony doors at night, closing off the light and noise of the street, and it is quiet as can be. In the morning Manuela is there too greet you with a wonderful breakfast spread. The table looks beautiful, her dishes and glasses are available for you to use if you come back with leftovers or want a glass of wine in the evening — coffee or tea is always available as well. When we first arrived, the outside of the building was a bit concerning, but once through the doors, it was just gorgeous. All of old town Catania has quite a bit of graffiti and looks a bit concerning when we are not used to it. (Manuela had asked for our flight information) As soon as we landed at the airport she messaged me to help me get a ride to her place. When we got to the door, she was waiting for us, saw us on her video survalence, messaged us, and let us in. From there, she kept messaging until we were in our room, comfortable, and knew our way around. The next morning we met her in person, and she was every bit as helpful in person as she had been by messaging. If we messaged her, she answered immediately. She truly looked after us, to make sure every detail of our stay was perfect in every way. We could not have asked for a better place to stay and we very much enjoyed meeting Manuela. There’s a fabulous pizza and pasta shop right underneath her Airbnb — we loved that as well. She cleaned and cared for our room every day, so everything was fresh and tidy. We were able to do our wash in the sink and dry it on our travel line on the balcony. In every way, this was the perfect place for us to stay.

She truly made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Catania and close to everything. The breakfast every morning was amazing, with fresh cornettos and delicious pastries that made the start of each day extra special. Everything was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. 10/10 — highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Catania!

Locatie was perfect ten opzichte van centrum. Kamer was mooi en groot, goed donker te maken. Bedden van goede kwaliteit. Gastvrouw was zeer behulpzaam en Italiaans ontbijt was goed voor elkaar.

We spent two nights at the Il Leone Blu in Catania and we loved it. Our host Manuela was so friendly and ensured the check in process went really smoothly. Breakfast is cereal and toast etc but this is more than enough because you will never stop eating and drinking (Manuela's recommendations) while you are wandering around the city. The rooms (and bathrooms) are very clean. They are decorated beautifully, especially the ceilings. The hotel is very reasonably priced and is in a great location to visit all the city centre sites. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Die Gastgeberin war gut erreichbar und antwortete schnell. Sie war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist sehr zentral. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten und Verpflegungsmöglichkeiten in Gehdistanz. In der Unterkunft war es trotz der zentralen Lage und dank guten Fenstern angenehm ruhig.

Très bon emplacement dans la vieille ville, tout se fait à pied. Nous avions une grande chambre joliment décorée avec un plafond baroque magnifique ainsi qu'un balcon. Formidable accueil de Manuela, très enthousiaste et toujours prête à rendre service. Un réel plaisir de discuter avec elle. On voit qu'elle aime faire plaisir. Je recommande ce logement à 100%

The hotel room was beautiful, spacious, and very comfortable. The location is also great—close to the city center, and within walking distance of both the bus stop and the train station. Manuela is always kind and provides a lot of helpful information.

Perhaps because I stayed during Easter, there were occasionally loud performances from the neighboring venue between 9 p.m. ~11 p.m. It was quite noisy during that time, but it became quiet after 11 p.m. Other than that, everything was perfect.

Fui a Italia con esposa. Hace años que viajo a Europa, siempre reservo alojamiento por booking y nunca tuve un problema. Cuando tenía que entrar a Sicilia pasó el ciclón harry y tuvimos que cambiar el viaje sobre la marcha. Los alojamientos ya estaban pagos. El de palermo y el de Agrillento tuvieron la AMABILIDAD de reembolsarme el dinero de inmediato, pero este alojamiento no conoce esa palabra, ni tiene sensibilidad por el turista. Abbiamo trascorso un weekend a Catania in questo B&B meraviglioso e l’esperienza è stata semplicemente perfetta. La struttura è bellissima, curata nei minimi dettagli, accogliente e molto spaziosa: un luogo in cui si percepisce subito l’attenzione e l’amore con cui è stato pensato. Ogni ambiente è impeccabile e pieno di piccoli particolari che fanno davvero la differenza. Ma il vero valore aggiunto è Manuela. La sua ospitalità è qualcosa di raro e prezioso. Fin dal primo momento ci ha fatto sentire letteralmente come a casa, accogliendoci con una gentilezza e una disponibilità fuori dal comune. Durante il soggiorno ci ha coccolato e aiutato in ogni modo possibile, sempre con il sorriso. La colazione è stata un altro momento speciale: ricchissima e deliziosa, con cornetti fragranti e torte fatte in casa davvero squisite. Un modo perfetto per iniziare la giornata. Manuela ci ha anche consigliato cosa vedere in città, aiutandoci a scoprire Catania nel modo migliore e rendendo il nostro soggiorno ancora più piacevole. È raro trovare un posto così curato e, soprattutto, persone così autenticamente ospitali. Se cercate un luogo dove sentirvi accolti e coccolati come a casa, questo è il posto giusto. Nur eine Nacht gebucht. Die charmante und professionelle Gastgeberin war sehr hilfreich bei der Planung des Tagesprogramm. Das Zimmer groß und komfortabel eingerichtet. Kaffee und Tee sowie Snacks jederzeit verfügbar. Das Frühstück mit sehr gutem Cappuccino mehr als ausreichend.

Die stuckverzierten Decken waren wunderschön . Manuela hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen und Tipps gegeben . Sie macht das mit sehr viel Liebe und Freude -das merkt man ! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt .

Das Treppenhaus ist sehr schmutzig und es riecht unangenehm da hier auch die Mülltonnen stehen - nicht sehr einladend .

Der Eingang zum B&B ist etwas unscheinbar, was dahinter verborgen ist überascht umso mehr. Es hat alles was man braucht, ist sauber und wir haben wunderbar geschlafen. Manuela hat sich viel Zeit genommen, uns alles zu erklären und Tips zu geben. Kaffee und Tee ist rund um die Uhr verfügbar, das schätze ich sehr! Die Lage ist zentral. Ein bisschen Umgebungslärm für diese Lage ist normal. Die Fenster lassen sich super abdunkeln. Das empfohlene Restaurant war sehr lecker. Ich bin rundum zufrieden 🤗

The place is gorgeous, i was in Stanza della musica, beautiful room, great pillows, sheets smelling nice and clean, close to centre and 10 min from the airport. I couldn't ask for more. Highly recommend! 🤍 For sure this is the place i'll choose next time i go to Catania. ✨️
