Casa Colina

We have been lucky enough to travel widely throughout the world, but Casa Colina is probably the most delightful place we have ever stayed. The house is a lovely piece of architecture, tastefully decorated throughout and with some stunning artworks. Our room was large, ultra comfy with a fridge and coffee machine. The swimming pool area is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the beautiful, peaceful surroundings. Brenda and Rick are fantastic hosts serving up delicious and artistically presented breakfast dishes.

Loevly well kept place. Very quiet, idyllic setting, very friendly hosts and wonderful brakfast. All this at reasonable prices. I would recommend this to all my friends. I never seen a a better run lovely and very tastefully decorated B&B like this one. we loved being there.

Beautiful, comfortable and peaceful cottage in the mountains outside of Kaleden/Penticton. Elegantly designed and thoughtfully furnished for your enjoyment. Away from the hustle of town, but centrally located with easy access to the areas famous wineries, restaurants and beaches.

Casa Colina is a hidden gem that offers quiet relaxation to its guests. 15 minutes from Okanagan Falls makes this home a perfect spot to relax after visiting wineries and fruit stands. Brenda and Rick are culinary masters, preparing a two course breakfast each morning. The family style room allows for visiting with the other guests and comparing notes on what to do in the area. Although we didn’t use the pool, the fenced in pool deck is well equipped with loungers and offers outstanding views of the surrounding mountains. We hope to go back one day.

We had an excellent experience at Casa Colina. It was a beautiful escape, it felt like we had gone to a holiday destination but was only a short distance from Penticton with the amenities of a city and easily accessible outdoor adventures. Brenda was welcoming, friendly and flexible with check in/check out with great communication along the way. Highly Recommend.

No issues or areas of improvement

We are already planning to return next year. We loved it here. The dry Okanagan hills surround the property and the Adobe style residence is perfect in this setting. We enjoyed the rural and isolated location. Very relaxing and our room was very well appointed with comfortable beds and lovely linens. Our host was friendly and wanted to make sure we had all we needed.

Great location. Close to all the wine country sites. Quiet, serene and perfect for star watching. The room we had was beautiful and the breakfasts were amazing. Our hosts, Brenda and Rick were so good with directions of places to go and a treasure of great local information.

We LOVED staying at this B&B and would stay again if we are back in the area. The room is spacious and beautifully decorated. The hosts are helpful and the breakfast is outstanding (2 courses). Love how everyone eats at the same time seated around the table and shares their plans with each other. Honestly, this is so much better than staying at any of the hotels in town.

It was a beautiful setting, very quiet and restful. The house is lovely, and spotless. Our room was very comfortable. The pool was a wonderful bonus. And breakfast each day was delicious! The hosts are warm and welcoming AND leave you to do your thing.

Breath-takingly beautiful

Casa Colina was a beautiful property conveniently located 7 minutes from Okanagan Falls. We loved the pool (especially on the super hot day) and the morning brunch. The other guests were very friendly and everyone had great suggestions for vineyards to try out. Thank you to for your hospitality Brenda and Rick! We will be back!

Breakfast was stunning. Probably too much of it! The location is peaceful. The hosts were welcoming and available if we had questions. Everything was perfect.

Those darn deer kept wandering through the property but moved faster than I could get my phone to take a photo. That was pretty annoying! Seriously, nothing much could be better. Maybe a couple of slightly more comfortable chairs to sit on outside our door (ground floor room).

The breakfast was excellent and served very elegantly with great attention to detail. The suite had all we could possibly ask for, mini fridge, coffee maker, ice, seating area, comfortable bed. Linens were first class and the robe was much appreciated. Outside seating for morning coffee was a bonus,

Wa had an amazing 2 nights stay! Amenities, service, breakfast, location, comfort- everything is a top notch! We’ll be back and highly recommend !

This property is an extremely rare find with an unparallelled commitment to hospitality. If you come for no other reason then Brenda's gourmet breakfast offering then count yourself among the privileged. This place blew our expectations out of the water and hours after leaving I'm already trying to figure out how I get back here!

Beautiful little romantic hotel nestled in the pines. Very quiet, very calming. The hosts were super friendly and prepared the most delicious breakfasts. We had to check out early due to travel plans and Brenda even prepared a to-go breakfast for us! Such a nice gesture.

Casa Colina is a hidden gem! Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated and well equipped. The location is quiet, peaceful and the outdoor pool delightful. Every morning we were served a delicious breakfast artfully presented. The innkeepers are both charming and knowledgeable about the area. They attended to every detail and made us feel so welcome.

Everything! The cottage is beautiful and feels like real luxury. The peace and quiet. The beautiful pool and surrounding views! And Rick and Brenda are truly lovely hosts who gave us lots of tips for our travels around Canada!

Really enjoyed the comfortable bed, and nice sized room. The Breakfast was fantastic, and the pool was great for spending time on a warm afternoon. The property was conveniently located for trips to the wineries and golf courses. Just minutes from Penticton

Casa Colina is quiet and beautiful, and the breakfast each morning is absolutely incredible!

It is stylish with high quality fittings and furniture and it is very well maintained. There is complete peace and quiet at Casa Colina and the couple who run it do so in a very unintrusive way. They also produce a delicious breakfast which is more like a brunch.

Beautifully set up BnB, close to a fantastic winery circuit and a short drive away from all the points of interest in the area. Some great trails around if you like biking. Brenda has a great eye for detail and was very welcoming, it felt like visiting a friend (in the best way possible). The pool has some great views and was a fantastic place to chill out. If you’re in the area, definitely pay Casa Colina a visit!

Our stay was first rate. Everything about the place is top notch which is why we rate it as superior. The breakfasts are awesome as is the dinning room setting in which it is served. The couple who run the place couldn’t be any nicer. We loved our stay there and will be back.

Brenda and Rick are wonderful hosts and the reason we keep coming back. We love the location as it is scenic and quiet, yet close enough to all the wineries we wish to explore. In 15-30 minutes, we can get to the great local wineries of OK Falls and Kaleden, or branch out Oliver/Osoyoos, Summerland, and the Naramata Bench. A highlight is the amazing breakfasts that Brenda makes! We are already looking forward to our next visit.

We stayed a couple of nights and were fortunate to be treated with two gourmet breakfasts. The first, a decedent yogurt, fruit, granola parfait with a delicious breakfast burrito, coffee and orange juice. The second morning, a poached apple, granola and caramel sauce treat with the main, scrumptious poached eggs, coffee and apple juice. Chef and hostess Brenda, you are a fabulous cook!! Hubby Rick a great host also. You are both very personable and truly spoil your guests. The food presentation and ambiance was amazing! The bed n breakfast, a lovely casa located atop a 9 acre treed, private hillside, quiet, relaxing and a bonus pool. The room was very spacious and luxurious. Not a detail was missed. Such a pleasant way to spend our 35 Anniversary. We will be back.

In a word: "superb"! Checked all the boxes of a perfect getaway- private, fine dining at breakfast and attention to every detail for comfort and for making us feel like we were at a resort. Luxury-from bedding and bath, to pool, to breakfast dining. Our hosts were friendly and cared that we had everything we needed. We are planning our next stay- this time not to attend an event but just to come and be spoiled.

Great kitchen, comfortable bed and amazing shower Each evening sitting on the patio being surrounded by nature and breath taking views will be a memory that will last for ever . Everything! The building is a beautiful adobe style house, and the interior reflect the style! Brenda takes such good care of every single detail! The room was amazing, very spacious, clean and comfortable bed! The breakfast was every morning different and delicious! I definitely want to go back in the summer to enjoy the pool too!

We spent 3 wonderful nights at Casa Colina in late August and had a wonderful time there. Brenda's breakfasts were phenomenal! 2 courses of gourmet delights that filled you up so much that you were full until suppertime. We found that with the location being a ways out of town, and breakfast being so good, that we would bring food back from town to our room in the late afternoon for supper. We would then eat at our little bistro table outside our french doors and taking in the scenery. The setting was amazing and so quiet and private. Rick was also very interesting to talk to and they both had some great advice about the area. We also enjoyed the deer who wandered the property and didn't really care that we were there at all. The pool was so relaxing and warm and we enjoyed spending quiet time there in the late afternoon. The room was large and well appointed and the bed super comfortable.

Everything! It was comfortable, tastefully decorated, had all the conveniences needed for a private getaway. We were in a natural environment, yet very close to Penticton, where you could access the restaurants, shops and activities of a city environment. Casa Collina was perfect!

A beautiful B&B in stunning scenery with the best breakfasts I’ve ever had! Brenda and Jeff have created an idyllic place to stay. It’s a perfect base for exploring the many wineries and mountains in the Southern Okanagan. The pool is an added bonus!

it was all fantastic! Note nearest restaurants are 20 minute drive however guests are welcome to “picnic” on their patio or terrace.

Brenda has and amazing and beautiful property. Their attention to detail and just overall atmosphere. They are excellent hosts. It was one of the most relaxing getaways we have had. We will be making this property our go too for our Okanagan visits.

This was our second stay with Brenda at Casa Colina. Again, it was fabulous. Some of the best gravel and road cycling is to be had nearby, and this is a luxurious home base from which we explored. The kitchen has everything we needed and more. The linens, robes and furnishings are top of the line. We’ll be back. Highly recommend.

High expectations and high ratings with pleasant hostess and creative breakfasts BUT noisy room overhearing people talking and any movements from suite on top of us-all the time!!Cramped bathroom and then shockingly tub-shower---for the price a proper shower and tub is expected.Bedside drawers non functional and threatening to fall out.Storage space cheap IKEA type wiry set up and non functional.Entrance to suite looks like storage for ornaments.Location not ideal as windy road to highway for exploring wine areas.

This was a great find. Room was clean, spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed. Bed was awesome with fresh linens. Breakfast was definitely gourmet. Owners went to a lot of effort to make our visit special. They know the area very well so lots of good advice on things to do. Real plus was the pool for cooling off and lounging after a day of wine tasting or biking. We will be back.

The room was comfortable and quiet in a beautiful rural setting in the middle of Okanagan wine country. Breakfasts were incredible and the presentation outstanding - you couldn't ask for anything better! Brenda and Rick made us feel welcome and at home and were great to talk to. Casa Colina is an ideal place to stay if you're looking for a location that's a good hub for exploring wineries in the area. Penticton is only a few minutes away, while the scenic drive to Oliver or Osoyoos takes about an hour -- there are many wineries along the way. The spotless swimming pool is a great respite from the hot Okanagan weather and is a beautiful spot to enjoy the hillside scenery. Breakfast each day was fabulous. The hosts have created tastefully decorated suites that have everything you need.

We highly recommend Casa Colina. It was a beautiful place in the mountains. Not far from town. We really felt as though we were on a mini vacation even though we were actually in penticton for a hockey tournament. Fully equipped kitchen, lovely decor, clean and best of all amazing views. Thank you to Brenda for the hospitality. We hope to visit again soon.

The B&B was beautiful, charming and nicely decorated, and our room was extremely comfortable and spacious. Brenda as the owner & host was great and her professional chef skills produced amazingly delicious breakfasts each morning during our stay. Totally recommended for a couple that wants to get away in style!

We found the Casa Colina a wonderful retreat from the noise and conjestion of City life. The room we stayed in was wonderful with a unique decor You rarely find. The breakfasts were the best ever purely gourment. Just make sure You are hungry! I can't say enough about Casa Colina and Brenda & Rick who were our wondeful Hostess & Host. Can't wait to visit again.

We stayed at Casa Colina while attending a wedding nearby. The Inn far exceeded our expectations. It is a beautiful retreat/ spa experience. Brenda is a fabulous hostess. We plan to return and use it as a base to explore the many wineries nearby. Our room was immaculate. It was beyond clean. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. It was very comfortable. We had our own coffee maker and a small fridge. There were robes for us to use. Brenda had put out wine glasses and an opener so we could sample our purchases from the wineries. The breakfast room is lovely. We enjoyed chatting with the other guests (6 of us in all). Each room is very private and quiet. We had the ground floor king room. It was perfect. The Inn is a great find. There are signs directing you to the Inn but it would be tricky to find for the first time at night. It is very secluded ( but close to everything). We were glad we had GPS.

Our host was very accommodating to our arrival time. We thought we might get there very early or very late. Brenda kept in contact with us to make check in happen smoothly.

It was perfect!! From the moment we arrived (a few minutes early!) we fell in love! Brenda was an awesome host, and the cottage was exactly what we expected. It was very private and so cozy and comfortable. It had everything needed in the kitchen to whip up some easy meals, and a BBQ and patio furniture in an outdoor dining area on the front porch. We enjoyed coffee in the morning on the back patio, with any amazing view. In the mornings we hiked right from the property on very pretty trails in most directions. Our afternoons were spent lazing by the solar heated pool that had beautiful views too! My husband kept saying "We have to do this at least once every year!!! Ah, OK!!!!

Our mini-moon and stay with Brenda and Rick at Casa Colina exceeded all expectations! From our welcome to departure our stay was amazing, Brenda really excels at the little details and made the trip so enjoyable. From taking note of our dietary issues to gifting the newlyweds chocolates to wonderful conversations we really felt so comfortable and at home. Having dietary issues is not an issue at all at Casa Colina! Brenda made sure that I had an amazing meal regardless of the extra trouble it may have caused. And on that note, the breakfasts are so amazing. It was so nice to sit around with the other guests and chat while eating amazing food and drinking great coffee. We stayed in the cottage and it was perfect for a couple on their mini-moon, it was private but you can easily access the pool area and main house. We can't wait to stay at Casa Colina again!

We very much enjoyed our stay at this very lovely bed and breakfast. The staff, service and amenities were all excellent. It's in a nice quiet location but only a 10 minute drive to Hwy 97. I would stay here again and highly recommend it to my friends and family.

What a delightful surprise to experience this stunning and artistically decorated Spanish style casa, secluded in a peaceful setting with expansive views. Our room was spacious, immaculately clean, beautifully furnished, and super comfortable. In addition to a spectacular setting and privacy, we were provided with all the amenities and information we could want and more. Breakfast was a sublime experience in the elegant dining area, as we were pampered with gourmet delights and careful attention was given to our dietary needs and preferences. We would highly recommend this unique accommodation and look forward to returning in the future!!!

I always wanted to stay in a solitude hotel and Casa Colina is exactly what I needed. Despite the fact that it is very close to the town, it is extremely calm and relaxing, a perfect place to enjoy the sunrise. If I have to describe Casa Colina, I will say perfection. The room was perfectly clean and decorated. I have never stayed in a hotel where I couldn't find any stains and I thought such hotels didn't exist. However, Casa Colina was able to surprise me. And now breakfast - it was delicious! There were 2 courses: fruits and the main dish and it was incredible how they served it. I liked every detail! If you have a chance, you should definitely visit Casa Colina! You will not regret it.
