Ideal for a one night stay before getting a ferry. Had a large family room. Lovely bathroom and comfy beds. We ate in the bar. Standard pub food, but was good. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Location. Lots of traffic noise.
Staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Was worried about the location but turned out to be very good. Rooms were spotless, bed comfortable. Coffee pod machine in the room was a nice touch. Lots of parking available
Nothing really - might be a bit of a struggle if you have limited mobility but nothing else comes to mind.
Staff friendliness. Food. Roo.
Narrow stairs
Great location to catch the ferry. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely dinner and breakfast
Traditional Welch pub with great cosy comfortable bed and room upstairs. Great bathroom with a bath & good water pressure. Clean. We had a pub dinner, steak was great, fish n chips fab. We loved that the locals said Good Night to us when we went upstairs bed! Highly recommend for comfort, ease & hospitality.

Rooms had moneyvsoent on it and looks modern Breakfast was excellent quality food
Ariel needed looking at on tv no big deal really
Very friendly and helpful, room was a very good size with en suite, clean. Tea and coffee making facilities in room, good selection of both. Breakfast was very nice good selection of cereals and a full English if required. Good location if driving lots to go and explore.
There was nothing I didn't like.
Really nice little pub/ hotel
Owners very friendly and room very clean , also made breakfast at 6.30am for me as I was staying in the area for a fishing trip
Fijn ontvangst, typisch kleinschalig Welsh hotel.
I really appreciated how warm and kind Liz was, the lad who greeted us when we checked in late on the first night was nice as well. The room looks recently decorated and was clean. It had everything you could need and the bed was firm. There were no issues with noise at all. There's a car park which makes it convenient. Also, breakfast was great!
Wonderful staff members and the room were clean and overall good value for money. Though the room definitely needing to get freshen up and perhaps a mini refurb. I do recommend staying here if you need something low cost and of good value.
Great staff helpful and friendly.
Ich habe im Bett Bettflöhe aufgelesen. Sehr unangenehm.
Hotel was easy to find and check in was quick. Perfect location for travelling around. Room was small but lovely and clean and suited our needs perfectly. The beds were very comfortable. Great en-suite bathroom with soft white towels and good shower. Ample choice of hot drinks. including Costa coffee and chocolate. Ample storage for 2 nights. The hosts were lovely and very welcoming. Nice beer garden and ample parking.
Just missing a couple of coat hooks.
Location
Newly painted, friendly and helpful staff.
Food prices were more expensive than where I live in London. Unfortunately, after having a shower I started to dry myself with the bath towel which looked clean but I quickly realised had a pretty bad smell.

A guy asleep across a bench sest in the bar.
Friendly, quick check in. Great budget option for solo female traveler having a rest stop before catching the ferry in the morning. Slept like a baby, could charge my phone and grab a hot shower. It’s a family owned little pub with rooms above. Shop across the road and short drive to the terminal. Plenty of space for parking also!
Looked recently redecorated. Bed, duvet, and pillows were sooo comfy. So happy there was a fab in the room. I soaked in the massive tub.

It was near to work
Really unfriendly land lord was treated like scum
Good location
Lovely accomodation newly decorated and run by a lovely lady called Liz , room very comfortable and the breakfast was outstanding . A great little place to stay when going to and from the ferry port. Looking forward to staying when im back from Ireland in a couple of weeks
Only a minor point would have preferred the double bed rather than a twin room as I had booked only reason was my frame is slightly larger than the bed! But thats my issue
Breakfast was fine. Bicycles were outside. In a gated yard and semi -secure, not visible to outsiders.
The evening meals should have been better for the price. My pork chop was slightly pink - undercooked. My friends gammon was thin and chips were soggy. With not much change from £20 you expect attention to details.
Friendly, clean good value
Nothing. All very good
Very friend staff who had good conversation and were accommodating. When I arrived, I missed lunch hours but they were happy to put some food on for me which was a great touch.
Slight damp smell in the bedroom but fine when bathroom door was shut.
Where do I start 😊 from the moment I walked in through the door I was made to feel at home, Steve Liz their 2 boys staff and the locals are absolutely brilliant. I was staying on my own with my dog, we both had a fantastic stay, Skye was spoilt rotten by all. The food that Liz cooks is fantastic, I had the gammon, it was huge and absolutely gorgeous. The breakfasts kept me going all day, local produce and so very tasty, nothing was too much trouble. I haven’t laughed so much in ages, even when I managed to lock myself in my room 🤣 The room itself, number 4, was spotless, comfy, had everything you could want, I’ve not slept that well for ages. I cannot recommend this pub high enough, it’s a wonderful place to stay. Thank you to all for making a stay a wonderful happy experience. Will definitely be returning 😊
There’s nothing I didn’t like, absolutely fabulous, I really didn’t want to leave!
No marmalade.
Great value for money family run hotel. Room was comfortable, bathroom very good, shower fantastic. Nice bar, great breakfast, lovely beer & excellent evening meal home cooked. Fantastic value. Close to the coast, easy to find & get to. Loads of free parking on site. Quiet in the evening. Very flexible breakfast times ; options. Highly recommended.
Lighting in the corridors times out too quickly. Not suitable for disabled (not a problem for me). Otherwise, nothing to fault.
Lovely spacious room. Friendly staff. Quick check in. Didn't hear a sound from the pub downstairs and slept like a log. Very nice breakfast in the morning. Very convenient location. Plenty parking. Absolute bargain for the price!
Nothing
Breakfast was freshly cooked . There was a choice of cereals plus fruit juice.
Breakfast , lovely and relaxing in the evening
It was all good
Location is ideal to tour Anglesey, if you have a car. The owners and locals are extremely friendly. Breakfast is excellent and the pub meals are very good. Really enjoyed our 3 night stay.
Bedroom very dated bed linen & towels quite old, bath ad tape round the corner holding it together. Black mold on the floor round the bath.
Better towels & bed linen 2 bed side tables ont just one.

Hosts were very welcoming and let me know all I needed to have a restful stay. Room was comfortable and quiet. Bathroom facilities were great given I forgot my shampoo 🙃
Fantastic accommodation, couldn't do enough to help. Fantastic breakfast.
Typisch lokaal hotel... goede ontvangst en kamer ok. Restaurant: voldoende keuze en lekker.
Ontbijt was miniem
Second time staying here, love this place. So cosy and welcoming, food is great. Will be staying here whenever I'm in Anglesey :)

Basic
Great location, very friendly staff, great value for money.
Excellent value for money , quaint little pub old and historic, I booked the quadruple room and upon first glance it seems to be very busy but this is what I loved about the room. It just had everything. The room had everything I needed. I didn't eat or drink in the bar but I must say the breakfast was absolutely beautiful. Set me up for the four hour journey to the East Midlands. Liz and her husband I assume we're just great, I will definately use this little hidden gem when travelling back to and from Ireland. Well done folks 20 out of 10.
Food was amazing and Breakfast was included in the price but not shown . Food in general was first class and staff very helpful .
Location perfect for our needs, near the port but quiet. The room was small but had good storage, the bathroom was well appointed. We were provided with a fan as it was a very hot night, which made sleeping comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and the atmosphere homely
Nothing
Friendly small hotel and pub. Made to feel welcome as a solo traveller. Although room fronted onto main road, there was no traffic noise in the evening and I slept well. The room had everything for an overnight stay and bathroom was spotless.
A nice pub style hotel near the ferry port of Holyhead
Rooms are small but clean
Staff were so friendly + nothing was too much trouble, breakfast was superb and room was spacious and clean
Nice hotel, food was fantastic. Would definitely stay again
Great homely atmosphere with great staff loved the full breakfast. I was out last takin photos and got in no problem which was over and above service. Would highly recommend this very popular hotel. It has a great atmosphere
Nothing to be honest
We had an enjoyable stay. Liz, her husband and the person who checked us in were very friendly and helpful. Very pet friendly too.
It was very hot, but exceptionally hot weather anyway

Very clean, great host and a nice bar. Unfortunately I didn’t have the time to try the breakfast but owner tried to be very accommodating
If you had a lot of suitcases with you access is definitely narrow to most the rooms. To be expected for an old building though
Uniek welch lekker eten gezellige uitstraling leuke bar lieve mensen grote parkeerplaats eventueel shop aan de overkant van de weg
Alles oké
Nice rooms, friendly and helpful staff, good food
Location was good for the ferry to Dublin, 10 mins away. Good parking. Small park area up the road to walk the dog, but nothing more The staff were friendly.
Tatty and dated. Needs a complete renovate. Very small room with too much out of place furniture. Bathroom was ok.
Nice stay
The bed wasn't the most comfortable, but great value for money
Very friendly staff
śniadanie było dobre, lokalizacja dla mnie wygodna.
pokoje nad pabem, dla mnie nowe doświadczenie, nie było żle.
Ideal place as stop over; clean, quiet, good breakfast, big car park and a nice bar downstairs. Modern bathroom. Friendly clientele enhanced my stay, so much so I asked them if they were on commission!
Not the owners fault, but the stairs are narrow so kind of difficult to carry a small carry-on type suitcase (overhead locker size) up and down.
Nice people, big room, breakfast, nice location
Interesting building . Great host and hostess.
Pleasant staff ..very welcoming clean and friendly hotel
Narrow stairway but it is an old building.
Great staff & friendly customers Food was home cooked
Rooms could do with updating
Marvellous hosts, very obliging and pleasant. Breakfast included in the price of the room which was a bonus as no indication it was included, but would have been happy to pay extra as it was delicious.
