Holiday Inn Express Le Havre – Centre, an IHG Hotel

I recently stayed at what was advertised online as a Holiday Inn while on holiday in France, but it turned out to be quite a confusing and disappointing experience. After struggling to find the hotel, I discovered it had actually been rebranded as a B&B Hotel — something that wasn’t made clear online, which led to a lot of unnecessary hassle. When I eventually arrived, the man at reception was quite rude and ignored me for a while before checking me in with little interest or care, which made for an uncomfortable welcome. The room itself was clean and had the basics, but nothing special. The area around the hotel also didn’t feel particularly safe. One positive was the nearby restaurant, Asian One, which I’d definitely recommend. The food was lovely, the staff were very friendly, and they had some great vegetarian options. Overall, not a stay I’d be in a rush to repeat.

Prix de la chambre assez élevé par rapport à la qualité de l'hébergement. L'établissement est dans son jus, les chambres sont corrects mais manque de modernités et la mienne était assez vielle (craquelure sur les murs, moquette salle, salle de bain vieillotte ...) Petit déjeuné convenable mais ne vaut pas les 14€

Located right along the light rail transit line. Wonderful breakfast. Secure parking with lots of room. Room was quiet and very spacious. Friendly helpful staff.

Okay hotel for one night but the area is not so nice and only fast food restaurants.

J’ai choisi cet hôtel pour une nuit au Havre. L’accueil est très chaleureux. Très belle décoration des lieux également. Ma chambre était spacieuse, propre et efficace. L’hôtel est très bien isolé sachant qu’il n’est pas loin de l’arrêt de tram et se trouve dans une zone animée. Le petit déjeuner est simple mais efficace également. Je recommande

Deux nuits du 08 au 10/12/24.Nous avons eu une chambre pour handicapés, alors que ce n'était pas demandé (aucun de nous deux l'est), et donc la douche inondait la salle de bain . Autre problème : la température de la chambre n'était pas réglable, et il faisait froid, surtout dans la salle de bain .

Bien en général

We chose this hotel because it accepted pets. The room had a little pet mat with a few treats ready for eating. The bed was comfortable and there was a small sofa allowing additional places to sit. There was on site parking, which was really helpful.

Très bon hôtel, hyper bien situé. Personnel agréable. Le seul point faible est le buffet qui n'est pas assez complet mon goût. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

J’ai passé un bon séjour dans cet hôtel, c’est propre et le petit déjeuner est très bien , seul bémol on m’a donné une chambre du côté où se trouve le tramway et c’était pas agréable de l’entendre passer tous les 5 minutes , j’ai pas osé demander une autre chambre mais si je reviens,je le ferai peut être une prochaine fois si possible.

Très bien situé près de la gare et aussi en voiture avec parking. Le tramway à 2 minutes! Le personnel est très sympathique et disponible. Je recommande vivement. Je reviendrais.

Defekte Fenster, verstopfter Abfluss im Waschbecken, Frühstück wie in der Jugendherberge. Beim Check in wurde nicht ordentlich erklärt wie man zum Parkplatz fährt und welche Codes eingegeben werden sollen. Bis jetzt war das der schlechteste Holiday Inn. Keine Empfehlung.

J'ai passé un bon moment. C'était accueuillant et reposant. Le petit déjeuner était bien servi :). Merci de m'avoir accueuilli !

Het personeel erg behulpzaam, accommodatie mag ge-update worden. Wij vonden het een beetje smoezelig. Eten is niet echt een aanrader in het hotel , alles uit de magnetron . Ontbijt ok! Prijs voor wat je krijgt passend. daarbuiten veel kebab zaken, berlin kebab aanrader maar veel variatie in de omgeving niet aanwezig . Voor 1 overnachting prima .

Hôtel à 2 pas du tramway qui permet donc en quelques minutes de relier le centre ville et la plage. Petit déjeuner correcte. Personnel accueillant. Je conseille vivement

We were exhausted from my travels from Brussels to La. Havre. When we went to bed at 10:30 PM, we did not wake until 10:30 AM! The bed was very comfortable.

Well kept and clean within walking distance of many locations. Lots of restaurants. They have their own bar and small menu.

I liked that the staff was multilingual and able to communicate with us in English. They were very patient with us as we were trying to communicate in French. Overall, the service was great.

I loved everything about this place especially helpful staffs and electric car charging station.

On a beau chercher, je ne vois pas ce que l'on pourrait critiquer à cet hôtel. Excellent accueil - le personnel a manifestement le soucis de la clientèle - chambre moderne et confortable, très bon rapport qualité prix. Venus à vélo nous avons particulièrement apprécié le cabanon, spacieux et propre, permettant de les sécuriser. C'est suffisamment rare pour être mentionné. Le tram est à 100m, la gare à 2 stations de là. Bref, nous avons été totalement satisfait de notre séjour.

Was prima. Helaas amper kastruimte voor kleding, geen koelkastje, bij het ontbijt waren borden enz altijd op, manager hielp zijn personeel niet tijdens de top drukte, te weinig parkeerplaatsen, bedden waren slecht, geen slot op de badkamer. Het was prima vakantie was heerlijk alleen het hotel een beetje knullig

Hôtel propre, moderne et personnel accueillant, et à l'écoute. La dame de l'accueil a été d'excellent conseil pour nous orienter dans la ville, nous la remercions. Petit déjeuner bon et varié, la salle est agréable. Le personnel de ménage discret et très poli. Très proche de la gare, la rue est très fréquentée.

Malgré un souci (chambre non faite à mon arrivée) cela a été réglé très rapidement et j'ai eu un lit plus grand, le petit déjeuner est top. Equipe très sympathique

The stay is general pleasant for us. The issue is during summer the room is quite warm and air conditioner is not responsive well (probably central controlled). The free parking statement is vague as the parking spot is quite limited compared to number of room.

The lady at the front desk was really lovely, she went above and beyond for us. She even recommended a place to go out to diner and was spot on. We had an amazing night. The room it self is like most campanile, lovely, clean and fresh. The breakfast buffet is a must have.

Could not find parking or parking garage to check in, after driving around block several times and watching drug deals go down in the cars in front of us we ate the payment and drove to the country for the night.

The carpet in the room was very matted and had burn holes the size of quarters in the floor, the room smelled of cigarette smoke.

I liked the cleanliness and friendly staff. Unfortunately the shower was broken which we only found out when we were in it , also the door of the shower didn’t close properly which caused a flood on the floor. Everything else was great.

I booked this because of free parking because we were arriving late. There is no parking though - just a few spaces for an 80 room hotel. Quite stressful when you arrive at 11pm then need to find parking and need to move your car before 9am so no lie in after travelling for 20 hours

Nice city hotel. Relatively small room and poor air conditioning. Lots of smaller eating places close by, a Domino's pizza is right next door. Clean with a nice bathroom and shower. Only real downside to this inexpensive city hotel was finding the free parking lot. It's behind the hotel off another street, it is secured but shared with another building and there are only 25 spots assigned to the hotel for 79 rooms. Spots are assigned on a first come basis. After arrival, we did not leave as we were concerned that we would lose our parking spot. Front desk was staffed with someone who spoke English but tried to charge us again for our prepaid room when asked to pay the local city tax. Pointed out that room was prepaid and this was corrected. I assume just an initial error but, always check before accepting any city tax charges. Would stay again

Location was fantastic. Staff was great! The room left a lot to be desired- hard bed. Poor pillows. SO small!!!
