Bathroom very dated. Mirror was dirty with no demistifier. Minimal water pressure in shower. Very slippy bath, mat only available at reception - too late by the time you’re ready for shower or bath. No hand rails on wall or bath. Disappointing

Very small room. small double bed. Bath tiny as well, couldn't lay down in it. Bathroom small as well. Toiletries as advertised was a tiny amount of fluid from a nearly empty container on wall. Good side was staff very helpful. Place was buzzing & served good ales. Very clean. Good towels & bed linen.

we booked for proximity to the airport, there was a drop off key card facility which was brilliant but we where unaware of this during our over night stay, maybe sign would be useful? it my be mentioned in the literature but we are daft customers so dident read it all fully

Location was good for us. Bed was comfy. The room had a fan, iron and ironing board and hairdryer. Quiet location. Breakfast was very nice with plenty of choice. TV was really good quality.

The room was very small. Big cobweb hanging from the ceiling. I went to have a shower which was over the bath and, there was no shower mat and the bath was the slippiest surface I have ever come across. There is a sign in the bath saying to ask for a bath mat if you need one which, by the time you see it, you are getting in the shower so not a great time to be asking for one. It's an accident waiting to happen and a bath mat should be supplied as standard. The water pressure from the shower was minimal and so was very hard to actually shower properly. There was also no shower gel in the dispenser in the shower. We asked next morning for this to be filled and a shower mat to be supplied. We got the shower mat but no shower gel. We had a kettle in the room with 4 coffee bags and 4 tea bags with 4 UHT milks.

Friendly staff, Good atmosphere and Very good restaurant. Room was clean and comfortable, and cleaned daily which is rare now adays.

Car park fills up quickly, Also refuge collection (5.30am) and Glass collection (6ish am) were clearly heard inside the room.

Clean and comfortable

The room was gorgeous, with wooden beams, beautifully decorated and furnished, and spotlessly clean. We slept really well. The bed was super comfortable. The bathroom was lovely too, with a full-size bath and an over-bath shower. Very impressed. Would definitely stay again if we need accommodation in the South Manchester area.

Honestly, there was only one thing that could have been better. We arrived for breakfast 30 minutes before the end of service. No problem at all. The breakfast took a little while to arrive. Again, no problem. As we were the last to eat (we didn't eat slowly or chat), we felt a bit under pressure to finish when the team started to clear up, hoover nearby, and sweep the floor. Just a minor thing, because the stay was exceptional, and the food was delicious!

Das Pub, welches unter den Hotelzimmern liegt ist wunderschön. Im Zimmer hört man das gesellige Treiben kaum. Das Zimmer war geräumig und hübsch ausgestattet. Das Bett war sehr gut. Das Frühstücksbüffet war abwechslungsreich gestaltet. Warmes Frühstück wurde nach Wunsch zubereitet und war sehr lecker.

Das WLAN war extrem langsam und man musste sich ständig neu anmelden. Der Einstieg in die Badewanne zum Duschen ist für ältere oder bewegungseingeschränkte Menschen schwierig.

Location and Cleanliness

Location was appropriate for our needs. The sccomodation was comfortable and the breakfast was tasty.

Friendly staff, checking in and out was smooth and efficient.

Unfortunately the (rain)shower just didn’t have enough pressure to work properly. To get a half decent flow, the water temperature would be scalding. Staff were kind to try to address the problem, but it didn’t help.

Room very clean and comfortable, the food excellent and all the staff friendly and helpful especially Mark who went above and beyond.

Some airplane noise due to proximity of Manchester Airport.

Our second stay here. Room was as lovely as before, very comfortable and clean and beautifully decorated. Very good breakfast. Friendly staff. Not to far from Wythenshawe where we were attending a concert.

Some loose fittings in the bathroom, bath was awkward to stand in whilst showering.

The room was very warm and with the window locks in place the window opening was minimal. There was a fan in the room but unfortunately it was rather noisy so I could not use it through the night.

The shower was scalding hot and there was no option to turn the temperature down - it was difficult to wash my hair because it was so hot. The pressure was also poor and I wonder if this was because of an issue with cold water flow. I’m sure it was stated that toiletries were provided at point of booking, but there was only a wall dispenser of 2 in 1 body wash/shampoo. We had breakfast at around 9.30 and at this point the bar/restaurant toilets had not been cleaned with toilet roll left on the stall floors etc. On seeing this I wished we’d kept our room key for longer so we could use the bathroom in our room, but it would be nice if the facilities downstairs were ready in time for breakfast.

Room was ok but asked about any rooms with walk in shower & found that there wasn’t any. 4 mths ago I broke my hip so still use a stick & don’t have full mobility. I managed with the bath/ shower but my husband had to help me out .. Please could you fit handrails which would be a big help for older people.

We wanted a place close to the airport and were prepared for a bit of noice etc, but were very positivly surprised by this place. Quiet, friendly, very good pub restaurant, large family room. Lovely staff! A perfect end to our UK road trip.

It was a warm summer so air condition would be nice, but probably not what you normally need in the UK..

Lovely position, and pleasant atmosphere both inside and outside

On arrival, the receptionist was efficient to the point of curtness. A more relaxed approach with a smile would have been more welcoming. The heatwave couldn’t be helped but we had gone there for a good nights sleep rather than stay with the party and full house at my son’s just round the corner. The room was extremely hot to walk into despite a fan on. The fan was either very cheap or very old and was very noisy. It didn’t cool the room at all just move the hot air in one small area. I managed about 2 1/2 hr sleep. For £140 this was disgraceful. The receptionist apologised though obviously not her fault.

Nicely decorated, good room above a nice pub with good food. Decent breakfast.

Supper. We both had fish and chips and both thought it disappointing as the batter was very greasy and the portion of peas measly.

Location was great the staff very helpful and friendly the room was very clean and with a fan iron ironing board and hairdryer in the room the food was very good and value for money

Only down side was the wooden toilet seat that didn’t match the decor maybe that’s just nit picking but like to give a honest review

The place is like a home, near family. I needed a document urgently printing, for signing. I did not have a printer. Your desk clerk very kindly printed it for me. That destressed me enormously. I greatly appreciated it.

I have been in the hotel on a very hot day before. You have to go outside as the rooms are extremely hot. The windows hardly open and the fan is too small. That's only happened twice though in all my visits. I just pick hot times!!

Hotel não adequado para os tempos quentes atuais. Sem AC, quarto no piso superior "equipado" com uma pequena ventoinha, quarto muito muito quente - cerca de 30º de noite - em que a janela não abria mais de 4 cm devido a um cabo de aço de "segurança"!!!!. A temperatura de noite no exterior do hotel era substancialmente mais baixa, mas com uma janela que não abria, foram 2 noites de inferno.

It was very convenient for our needs. The food was good.

No one cleaned the rooms. The water pressure in the shower was very low. No A/C so the bedrooms were extremely hot.

A lovely little place with a cosy bar and a beer garden that looked like a great spot to relax outdoors, although I didn’t get the chance to enjoy it myself. The room was comfortable and had everything I needed. The fan was especially appreciated during the hot weather!

The latest check-in time of 11 pm was a little inconvenient for me, as I was attending an event in Liverpool that finished later in the evening. I had to travel to Manchester during the day just to check in. I had hoped there might be the option of collecting the room key from a key safe, as that’s becoming quite common in many hotels nowadays. The carpet wasn’t ideal for my dust allergy, and with the very hot weather, windows that opened a little wider would have made the room more comfortable. That said, the carpet was clearly stated in the room description, so this was my own oversight. But overall, I had a very pleasant stay.

The Inn is also a delightful pub, but the outdoor tables were outside our window and this prevented me from getting to bed before closing.

The room was nicely decorated and was very clean. Staff were nice and helpful. The breakfast was great and plentiful. Plenty of parking, even though it's used as a pub. Central to most places.

Because we were staying over the Bank Holiday when it was extremely hot weather, be mindful that there isn't any air conditioning and the windows have restrictors on them, so you couldn't open them very wide. They did provide a fan in the room for us though, so they did everything possible they could in the circumstances.

Towel rail in bedroom was cold throughout our stay (even though the sign said "CAUTION hot surface"!! It was a cold weekend in May and the radiator in the room, on max, was tepid. TV reception was very poor (intermittent sound and pixilating) which made viewing difficult

Easy public transport to Manchester airport, and a comfortable room in a great Greene King pub. Staff were excellent.

Breakfast was good with a wider range of options. The rooms were comfortable. The area is quite good and peaceful.
