Convenient location for visiting family locally. Large room & comfortable beds

Wetroom looks grubby where floor & wall meet (Room 202) & the drainage is poor because the whole floor gets wet. The shower attachment is not fixed properly so when the water is turned on, it sprays everywhere. Poor supply of toiletries. Noise insulation is very poor. The wardrobe & bathroom doors are clunky & you can hear them being opened & closed in other rooms. Also,could hear clearly the person in the next room talking on the phone at 3am. The decor in the room could do with refreshing & a little more attention to detail with accessories such as a picture or two is needed. The check in process was dreadful. They have a new computer system which only one person seems to know how to use but he kept being called away from the reception desk leaving his colleague unable to move forward with checking guests in. The person checking in, in front of us had to leave her TIE card as a security deposit because the new system wouldn't accept Visa or Mastercard. Very poor first impression. The staff are pleasant but there appears to be too few staff & too much multi tasking which leads to delays to someone being available.

Towels could have been changed more frequently, the pool had an issue with chipped tiles (pool floor) which caused minor cuts to my kids feet, bar staff where very busy in the evenings so difficult to get served at times

No me gustó nada que nos pidieran los datos de la tarjeta del banco ya que eso es personal y no deberían de pedirlo, a parte del servicio muy lento. Y los loros fue una atracción divertida de ver pero a las 7 de la mañana se ponen a chillar y despiertan a l personal.

The breakfasts were good, Sarah was very good and the only staff member who genuinely cared about her work and the guests.

The service from all of the staff was absolutely ‘faulty towers’, not one time were the staff correct in our orders or needs. We stayed for seven nights and there was not one time our order was taken without an error or delay. During our stay we only had our room attended to twice. When it was attended, there was replacement towels/beds made etc in a satisfactory manner however pool towels would have been welcome. In fact it seemed the staff had zero training or understanding in hospitality or general human interaction. I would not recommend this hotel unless you like poor service, poor standards, tired accommodation and a general dissatisfaction in basic customer service. If you sat at a table you were left waiting and if you went up to bar you were scolded for doing so. Often it was obvious that staff were deliberately avoiding your need for service/attention. One morning I observed the cake fridge being cleaned with spray and wipe, whilst cakes were in there! On another occasion my husband attempted to obtain a butter from beneath a glass dome containing scones, however it had a layer of dust/grime which had not been wiped down for some time. Outdoor areas were poorly maintained with dirty tables and cigarette butts not cleaned up. Clearly this hotel lacks passion and love from the owners, as demonstrated in the staff. There was nightly entertainment which was generally of a good quality, although at times so loud it was difficult to enjoy. The pizzas and kebabs tasted good but again the ‘chef’ took garbage to bins, came back to cook without performing hand hygiene. My advice to the owners is train your staff in hospitality and role model the behaviour you want to see in your staff, as opposed to sitting around in the corner of the bar, promoting laziness and disengagement with the paying customers. Overall, whilst this hotel has two star ratings, and having extensively travelled worldwide, I would give this place minus stars.

Que a las 23h de la noche cerraban la piscina y la gente molestaba en la misma piscina y alrededores sin que hubiera nadie ni vigilando ni llamando la atención para el descanso de la gente !!

Very convenient for my in laws to stay as we have a place on La Finca. Able to hire a mobile scooter & each room has a wet room which for someone with walking difficulties was great. Staff very attentive. Good breakfast selection each morning. Changed our room as initially there was a leak in the wardrobe without hesitation.Some good entertainment at night. The staff that are on are very hard working(just need more)

Only barbecue food available as an evening meal. Not enough staff on at breakfast so had to go without 1 morning & on the days we stayed, the tables were left needing clearing. Looked untidy & unhygienic. The hotel is only 4 years renovated but ‘areas used by the public’ is starting to look in need of some TLC & deep cleaning. More selection of evening food.

Nice hotel,just a 10 minute walk to some nice bars and restaurants or a 30 minute walk down into a beautiful Spanish village with a main plaza,some nice Spanish restaurants and a play area for kids ,room was immaculate,beds were comfortable,pool area was nice with a few sun beds and nice seating,overall we had a nice stay and couldn’t fault anything at all,the young lad who checked us in was pleasant and efficient,would definitely stay at the hotel again

Parrots squeaking at 6.30am isn’t ideal,wasn’t an issue for me personally as I’m awake at that time anyways,but not ideal for those who want a longer lie in

El hotel tiene todo lo que se necesita, las instalaciones son amplias, el aire acondicionado funciona excepcionalmente cosa que se agradece en verano. En la piscina se pasa tiempo de calidad y el bar restaurante siempre tiene actividades para entretenerse y buenos precios.

Персонал отвратительный, при 100% онлайн оплате до заселения, при заезде начали требовать взнос на случай ущерба (наличными не получилось оставить задаток т.к выезд был запланирован в 6:00 утра, в это время они по какой-то причине вернуть не могли, хотя работа стоики регистрации круглосуточная), далее стали требовать данные карты включая CVV код,администратор сказал яко бы без этого кода отказать в заселении, хочу обратить внимание что проживание было оплачено картой через букинг. В конце концов, после ссылки на туристический закон Испании и требования вызвать полицию, засели. По поводу самого места, какие-то сомнительные выпившие люди везде, шум гам, не вызывает чувство безопасности. При мне у пожилого туриста была взята банковская карта, и все данные включая CVV код внесены в компьютер. Вот такое место.

Stayed at the Hotel Algorfa 28th July until 2nd August small hotel but lovely staff and food quite good, rooms good always something going on in the evenings with tribute acts or quizzes. My only negative on leaving Sunday when I unpacked Sunday evening realised I had left new pair of addis shorts so phoned hotel Monday and Tues about 4 times in all to ask for someone to have a look I knew exactly where they were out of sight on a shelf near boiler and behind a blanket you would need pair of steps to look our room was only 25yds from reception but trying to get someone to look was like trying to extract teeth was promised a call back but never got one, and has my son was staying nearby he would have picked them up, so disappointed

Inaccettabile che lo staff non parli spagnolo ma solo inglese, ed è come essere fuori dalla Spagna. Per lo meno dovrebbe essere specificato sul sito. I pappagalli in gabbia fanno troppo rumore e per me partivano il caldo.

The hotel is clean and has a wonderful, clean outdoor pool, in addition to a restaurant on the ground floor with friendly customer service.

I thank the hotel for the comfort and tranquility that was present in the hotel.

L hôtel est spacieux, avec un parking gratuit. La piscine est accessible tout le temps, meme après le départ. Possibilité de manger sur place, très bien! La chambre est grande et bien équipée, avec une jolie terrasse.

Le deuxième lit était très inconfortable. L hôtel est pas proche des plages ni de lieux a visiter. L hôtel est très bien comme point de passage. Le rapport qualité prix n est pas excellent.

Having a room on the front overlooking the mountains. The entertainment. The food. The friendliness and professionalism of the staff in all areas of the hotel. The pool and the surrounding loungers. Perfectly situated in Algorfa.

Not having a comfortable lounge area to relax in and have a drink but this is being rectified in a lounge under development soon to be completed.

Thought I would write an honest review as so many negative ones here and I guess if you have a good stay you don’t leave a review There is free entertainment most nights and at the weekend there is live music where you can reserve a table and have a meal before the music starts The menu is bbq or pizza and in the day time they do breakfast menu until the afternoon Food is very reasonably prices and adequate it’s nothing fancy but tasty Rooms are large may be slightly dated but are very clean with aircon and huge walk in shower that is powerful there is a balcony and kettle in rooms and a supply of tea and coffee , basic toiletries soap and a sachet of shower gel so bring your own if you need more The pool is lovely area spotlessly clean and the water is perfect temperature for July , you can have drinks and eat around the pool A lot of people commented on rude staff we found staff helpful and even the young waitresses really made an effort too Our room was 80 euros for standard twin and when we came in the winter it was also 80 euros so no summer price hike and huge car park and free parking ! We have booked to come back next week for a night Oh I forgot to mention the parrots 🦜 yes they are noisy but lovely characters you get plenty of wolf whistles from them and sing most the day , hope this review is helpful to others

Following a very late check in we were met by a friendly receptionist who was happy to help in any way possible. The pictures of our room on booking.com do it a huge injustice we were presently surprised. The rooms were spacious, clean and air conditioned with tea and coffee making facilities. The bar down stairs sells food and drink at a reasonable cost. I would recommend their stone baked pizza and full English breakfast. All in all we had a very pleasant stay here.

Leuk kleinschalig hotel. Alle kamers komen uit op het zwembad en een leuk terras achteraan. Alles proper, goed bed. En niet te vergeten de prachtige papegaaien aan het zwembad gedeelte 😍

We literally checked in at 17:00 and left at 03:00 the following morning so couldn't really develop an opinion of the hotel, however what we did experience was pleasant staff, ample room size. easy to find and good location for us with family in Rojales

Air Con was pretty poor, despite desperately attempting to get it to get cooler, it appeared to be locked on 29'C. We were pretty tired and to be honest just wanted to sleep, but was kept awake by an intermittent shrieking from a parrot or chicken...may have been a squeaking door opening and closing. We finally succumbed to sleep deprivation and passed out.

Si je devais conseiller un hôtel à une personne je le choisirai directement. Bref voilà je vous le conseille fortement. 🇧🇪

The location was good.

Service overall was very slow. Check-in speed painful and god knows what the experience is like if there were a queue of more than two. I am sure parrots / macaws are fab pets but the hotel have created a large custom aviary in the courtyard between all of rooms. trust me, it's not a good idea for the guests, Woken up by the chirping / sqwarking / very verbal birds every morning at 7am. No need for alarm clocks here!

The building is amazing! It has everything you need: comfortable rooms, a swimming pool, a bar, a restaurant, and even a convenience store. And, of course, the people who work there are fabulous. They make the place even more special .

Rude, nasty service — no menu, empty premises Staff were extremely rude, bordering on unpleasant and hostile. Despite being a barbecue‑style venue, there was no menu available to view or choose from. The place was completely empty, yet the attitude made it unwelcoming and impossible to consider staying.
