Hilton Garden Inn Roslyn

Great room and comfortable beds.

The hotel was noisy because of barking dogs and people talking in the hallways.

WARNING DONT USE FOR YOUR WEDDING GUESTS!!! I am staying here for a wedding. As a bridesmaid, I booked a nonrefundable room. However, the bride came to me week leading up to the wedding ask if I would stay with her the first night. Of course I said yes thinking the Hilton would help me out with a full or partial refund as this was a request of the bride. Nope, didn’t even try just said sorry our system doesn’t have a way to override a nonrefundable booking, which seems very improbable. Just really disappointed in this service.

Convenient to our family in Searingtown, we enjoyed the open airy lobby and the restaurant was efficient and delicious.

Very nice

The hotel has a bar area where I was able to purchase dinner. The food was good. There was a breakfast buffet for an additional cost which had lots of options. The breakfast was quite good. The people at the front desk were friendly and were happy to answer my questions. The hotel rooms were spacious and parking was convenient.

The hotel was in an isolated area away from restaurants and shops.

Loved the staff and the quality of the property.

A bit pricey.

Overall excellent stay, had an issue with the Shower door smashed unexpectedly in the night however the hotel were accomodating and apologetic. Food for breakfast great.

Bar opening a bit earlier. Nothing much to do around the area without public transport or car. Would have been good to sit at the bar rather then buy at reception and sit.

Perhaps the best laid out and comfortable hotel room I have ever stayed in. Breakfast was excellent.

Clean Hotel, friendly staff and they have wonderful amenities.

The pillows were too soft, maybe add one or two firmer but comfortable pillows.

Everyone was friendly. Property was beautiful and convenient. Probably my best hotel stay ever. Thoroughly enjoyed.

Fan did not work in bathroom. Reported it, but the fan was never repaired. My shower triggered the smoke alarm.

Quiet area

Nice property. Clean and quiet. Comfortable beds and nice to have coffee in the lobby every morning. The staff are all very nice and helpful. We have stayed here while visiting our daughter twice now.

It doesn’t have much around it. No restaurants or convenience stores in walking distance

Hot tub

Clean and great service

Close to drugs

The coffee was good in the lobby

Inconvenient location I spent hundreds on Ubers and the food and drinks were very expensive considering the price of the room. Breakfast $20? I saw a shuttle at one point but the ride to jfk cost me $100

Chambre spacieuse et confortable

Restaurant fermé à 9:30pm alors que c’est mentionné 10pm . Repas peu qualitatif (nourriture et service) et seulement à emporter. Petit déjeuner insuffisant pour adolescents

Staff is always 100% involved. Sweet, helpful and always smiling. Great bar as well .

Rooms are spacious but a) water pressure in the shower is very low and b) the old condition makes so much noise that you can barely sleep. Staff

Very clean.

The hotel was doing renovations at the bar. No beers on tap. Bartender told us straight up that he would not be able to make most drinks on the menu, because he was “part time”. Worst Manhattan ever. Price of cocktails, not worth the quality. We’ve stayed here before and it was great. This time… No!

It’s close to downtown Roslyn and St. Francis Hospital.

A bit pricey.

Ive already told you and I have received no reply. no apology for the state of the hotel and my room. and no recompense.

renovations were happening on the floor I was staying. the faulty door of the. bathroom had me stuck in there, beginning to panic. the A/C unit was either a sauna or an arctic blast - need I go on.

Everything

All the staff from the front desk to the restaurant we’re very friendly and accommodating.

Property is Convenience for me

Construction level three unacceptable elevator elevator, dirty furniture being moved prodigal smoke everywhere white painting unacceptable or clean

Good

Very clean, great staff, wonderful bartender and the food was nice as well.

Room was very clean, comfortable and quiet.

Not a fan of the bathroom door. We like to leave a light on with the door cracked a bit to see where we’re going in the dark. The door kept rolling open. Had to put my bag to keep it from opening all the way. And when I wanted it to stay shut while I was inside it wouldn’t stay shut for me.

Really nice hotel and enjoyed my stay, just very pricey. Whenever I am here it is for business, but I have searched the prices and found it to be on the expensive side. Even so, would still recommend and enjoyed it.

We were placed there by our insurance co. after a house fire. We had to have 2 rooms and a pet friendly place. There were problems in the room such as broken door in bathroom, shades broken, leaking pipe under sink, and a mattress frame that stuck out. My leg was badly cut by the metal and I needed medical attention. We had to stay here for 3 weeks until we could find a rental. Even though insurance was billed almost $10,000, it came out of our living expenses. Very little adjustments made by management to our bill.

Clean,quiet,simple

The room itself, the bed, cleanliness

Price, noise in the morning (assumed it was cleaning staff)

It’s a beautiful property easy to find

i think the front desk should have simple items travelers forget and some immediate medication i.e, tums, asprin not just candy.

Clean, friendly staff and local . Great Shower.

Excellent hotel. Looking for a nice hotel on Long Island and this definitely is it. I will definitely stay here again. Near expressway so easy to get to different places. Room has a shower so was super easy for my mom to take a shower and not have to climb into a tub.

I enjoyed my stay.

Breakfast offerings were good. Pleasant location on ground floor.

Service was rather slow on a busy morning, all tables occupied.

Good location, room was spacious and clean

It smelled very strongly of weed by the elevators

La habitación contaba con el servicio requerido, muy confortable y limpia.

No tengo queja ninguna

The property was clean with spacious rooms.

Excelent service and the room very clean

Very clean and comfortable and also pet friendly. The staff was absolutely amazing. Everyone went above and beyond to make sure we were all happy and comfortable, especially our dog. We are incredibly grateful!

Great location, peaceful environment, and very clean.

The shower door didn’t stay closed.

The cleanliness and how comfortable the bed and pillows were.

Nothing

Very Clean and awesome hospitality

What i didn't like when fire alarm woke us up running out the room terrified and it was false alarm

Have stayed here a few times, and what a great hotel and run so well! I arrived early, and the young woman out front allowed me to use the Business Center until a room was ready. The place is so clean and well-kept, unlike so many other hotels that are of the same age. Room is great, beds very comfortable, and the shower's water pressure is insane! I've never had water pressure so powerful - anywhere! The gym is decent, the pool is nice, hot tub wasn't working, but everything else has been great. Will be back for sure.

Location and cleanliness

Needs better dinning experience

Efficient and elegant design of room and bath. Crisp cleanliness and warm comfort of bed linens, towels, furnishings. Fresh flowers on restaurant tables. Attentive, welcoming staff.

Lack of printed information about hotel facilities (we're 80, and it takes time to sort out info on screen!) Also, some elevator buttons had tape over them. We didn't know if that meant we shouldn't push them! Also some elevators had double row of buttons (2 and 2R) but there was no explanation of which to push. Finally, L for Lobby might be clearer than 1 vs G.

Very welcoming it was very clean quiet and peaceful

Business meetings

Nothing

Location

The staff. Very helpful and friendly

N/A

The Hilton Garden Inn Roslyn staff is amazing and the lobby is beautiful. There were several groups celebrating weddings and school reunions and the staff handled the groups like pros.

The mattresses, linens and pillows could be better but they aren’t out of line for the chain.

Nice hotel with great parking. Very safe and amenable staff.

Nice

Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast in their restaurant. Comfortable room/bed.

This hotel was very clean and very convenient to high ways the staff was very courteous and friendly.

Outrageous pricing! Gouged for Ryder Cup week. Not a good feeling to pay exorbitant fees and get very standard accommadations. Bathroom water tapid, curtains dropped down crooked. It was very clean and comfortable. Easy parking. Did not eat there. Already paying too much didn't want to give them more money. Will make my future hotel choices other than Hilton

Way, way, way overpriced. Nowhere near in value what the charged for the room was. I know their prices are back to normal but to take advantage of customers by more then trebling the room price for Ryder Cup week just sucks.

Good hotel for a short stay for business travelers

They raised their rates to $1,000 a night which is triple what they normally get because of the Ryder's Cup. SO, SERIOUS PRICE GAUGING!!! Then charged $2 each for the 2 bottles of water left in the room. The microwave didn't work. The mini fridge was barely cold. But more importantly, while the hotel is maintained, it's TIRED!!! The hallways smell mildewy and the rooms smell like feet! And with $1000 a night for a room in a very mediocre hotel, riding on the coattails of a beautiful town, maybe throw in a complementary breakfast!!!!

Excellent Staff.

Location, nice room

As Hilton honors all other places provide water daily and this property doesn’t

Hotel was good for one stop. Area was a little limited for activities.
